Push different type of messages to JMS Queue using JMS Adapter

Platform: Oracle SOA 11g. JMS Adapter.
I got to push different types of messages as string to same queue. JMS Adapter requires schema to push a message to a queue. Since messages are of different types, how can I push them into queue. I tried to use singleString schema. Result is that actual message gets wrapped into <singleString> root element which is not the required result.
Any hints or links shall be appreciated.

Thanks fo ryour reply and help. I appreciate that.
Wrapping of original message in <singleString>  element is done by JMS Adapter as the very last activity/setting. I am not composing/transforming message into final shape with singleString through transformation.
Once message is with JMS adapted on one end, it is in Queue on the other end. No control.
Since consuming end is not in my control and requires the actual message in Text format, I need to have the message target queue in Text format.
If I select the Opaque schema, following error message is thrown.
<bpelFault><faultType>0</faultType><mismatchedAssignmentFailure xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsbpel/2.0/process/executable"><part name="summary"><summary>Mismatch Assign. cannot set a nonmessage value to a message-based variable. Hi,
As far as i know, JMS Object Messages is not supported by XI JMS adapter.
you need to have the JMS provider to transform the message to bytes messages.

    Hi,
I need to send messages to the default queue(demoQueue) available in the server using a JMS adapter in a BPEL process.
I tried doing the same by using an invoke activity that invokes the JMS adapter service to send the message to the queue. I deployed this process in the server and gave an input to send it to the queue. The prcoess executed without any errors in the BPEL console.
I am also using Hermes v1.0 to monitor the queue but it says that it dint receive any messages in the queue to read.
I am sorry that i have restrictions from the client that i can't post the code here. Please let me know if anyone has got any solution or if you know any other way of doing the same.

You can use the following procedure :
    DBMS_AQ.ENQUEUE (
    queue_name IN VARCHAR2,
    enqueue_options IN enqueue_options_t,
    message_properties IN message_properties_t,
    payload IN "<ADT_1>",
    msgid OUT RAW);

  • Read message synchronously from JMS queue using OSB

    Hi,
Is it possible to read message from the JMS queue using OSB based on the request invocation. I know messages can be read from the queue but it will be polling based.
The requirement is to have an OSB proxy service (HTTP service ) an an interface to the client application. Client application invokes the proxy service and the proxy service need to read message from the JMS queue and provide the message as response to the client.
Let me know if there are any pointers.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I spent some time trying to do this and apart from creating custom database tables etc. I was not able to achieve this.
We wanted to use in memory JMS queues in our situation.
In the end we developed a Java Web Service which preformed the on-demand read from the queue (using a particular message selector)
This is working for us without a problem

It seems to be doing a JNDI lookup, and you haven't configured JNDI properly. Exactly how to do this depends on what JNDI provider you are using. Earlier in the thread you mentioned you were using WebLogic, so the answer may lie in the WebLogic documentation.

  • Is Message debatching in OSB using JMS transport possible

    hi
I have message on JMS queue with multiple message(s) in it.
Now my requirement is to read this JMS message as multiple internal message(s) from queue using OSB JMS transport.
Is this possible from OSB JMS transport?
    Thanks in advance.
    -Ramakrishna Gilla

No.. JMS transport wont automatically do it for you .. You will have to write a jms proxy service and have your logic to do the debatching.. alternatively you can use jms proxy as a pass thru service writing to the file system and then have the JCA file adapter to do the debatching..

    Hi,
Go to the runtime workbench --> Message Monitoring --> Click on the 'Configure Table Columns' > Check Sequence ID, Serialization Context & Sequential Number options.> and then click 'Apply'.
Then in the 'Serialization Context' column you will get the queue ID for the stcuk message.
Take that value and click on the 'Show additional Criteria' option on the top and put this value in the 'Serialization context' parameter. Also, select the start/end date as 'This year' --> start.
You will get all the messages stuck in that particular queue for this yoear, try to rectify them, so that your message will be processed.

  • Need to publish message from database to a JMS Queue using Java

I need to publish messages to a Websphere JMS Queue whenever any changes happen on a particular column of a table in oracle 11g. For that I have written a trigger on that particular table which in turn will invoke one java procedure. I have written the java procedure using a standalone java class and uploaded the java class as a schema object. While executing the procedure it is throwing error as it is not able to instantiate some of the java classes. I don't know how to provide the reference of different jar files while executing the java class. Can anyone help me on this.

    Welcome to the forum!

    >
Clarify your statement. First you say 'standalone java class' but then you talk about instantiating java 'classes' and referencing 'different jar files'. If you are executing your Java class inside Oracle then any Java classes that your java class is referencing also have to be loaded into Oracle or it won't be able to reference or execute them.
How do you plan to ' publish messages to a Websphere JMS Queue '? Where is this queue you are talking about?
Why are you using a Java procedure and class instead of PL/SQL?
What is your 4 digit Oracle version (result of SELECT * FROM V$VERSION)?

  • Mapping a message in different types of messages depending field value

    Hi gurus!
I need your help!, I need to create a scenario where I receive a message with a JMS adapter, for which I define an outbound service interface type, but depending on the value of a field (interface) to map in order to create different service inbound interface type.
For example, I get the MT that is associated with a Service Interface SI_OUT:
    <MT_TRX>
       <interface> 101 </ Interface>
       <message>
             nombre="AVISO"> <campo 8500070609 </ field>
             nombre="ESTADO"> <campo PCDS </ field>
       </ MESSAGE>
    </ MT_TRX>
As the interface has the value 101 with a Message Mapping I want to create the Service Interface SI_IN_101 whit message type MT_101.
If interface = 102, the Service Interface should be SI_IN_102 and message type_102... etc.
Can be mapped to different types of Service Interface, need different Operations?
Thank you very much for your help, I don't know how to solve the problem!

    Hi Veronica,
There are two clear options to approach the solution: be it 7.11 or earlier
    1. Go for 1..Onbounded Operation mapping. In your operation mapping on the target side add the different inbound interfaces. You have to define seperate message mappings for each of your target message types and use them in the operation mapping.
    2. The rather simplistic solution would be to go for conditional interface determination. A well know approach, if you have multiple interfaces to be mapped from a single interface for the same receiver system. Define seperate Message and Operation mappings for each of your Inbound Interfaces and then in Integration Directory use conditional Interface determination to call the appropriate operation mapping based on the condition checking on input payload (XPath).
I will strongly suggest the second option for better maintainability and monitoring of your interface.
You certainly dont need multiple operations, that's for different purpose altoghether

  • How to Read Message from JMS Queue using Business Service(ALSB3.0)

    Hi,
My Project Set up is as follows(using ALSB3.0).
1>One Proxy Service with transport as HTTP.
2>The Proxy service is calling another Business Service.
3>The Business Service has transport layer as JMS.
So here the business service is posting Request Message into the JMS queue.
I want at the same time it(The Business Service) should listen to another queue and from there it should read Response Message and forward back to the caller proxy service.
Can any one help me regarding this...

  • Posting a message to JMS queue using B2B

    Hi,
Could anyone suggest a solution for this scenario?
I have two trading partners say TP1 & TP2. Suppose TP1 is sending an xml message to TP2 using custom ebMS protocol, then at TP2, the message should be posted to a JMS Queue so that some other application can read it and process it.
The problem which I am facing is..
    1) where to create that JMS Queue(I could not find any options for creating a JMS Queue neither in B2B console nor in enterprise manager console..!!)?
    2) how to register TP2 to send msg to that JMS Queue(How that queue will be vissible to B2B)?
    3) Should the endpoint be given as that JMS Queue while configuring the Delivery Channel for TP2?
Thanx in advance for your suggestions,
    Regards,
    Satya.

    Hi Narayanan,
Thank you for your prompt reply. I understand that we need to create an external delivery channel to post the message to a JMS Queue from TP2. Currently I am using default AQ's (b2b.IP_IN_QUEUE & b2b.IP_OUT_QUEUE) at TP2 end to receive the message.
But, I want to post the message to JMS Queue. For this I need to create an external delivery channel and the corresponding end point should be the name of that JMS Queue. Is my assumption correct?
I have already gone through the thread that you have mentioned and the pdf as well. But, I am not able to find an option on how & where to create that JMS Queue?
    Could you clarify on this?
    Regards,
    Satya.
