    Thank you in advance.
    Regards,

    hello chandu ,
In order to encourage substantial investment in plant or machinery clause 5 of the Finance Bill, 2013 seeks to insert new section 32AC in the Income-tax Act, 1961 to provide for deduction for
investment in new plant or machinery by a company.   It is allowed over and above the depreciation rates.   This is for tax calculation purpose for availing this benefit so many conditions to be fullfilled.   In sap this can be handled through development only.  n.selvakumar.

  • How to move functions and procedures from packages into a schema?

    Hello,
I have below requirements for a homework and my question is if someone can point me in the right direction to find documentation which can help me solve the below. Any information will be very much appreciated. Thank you.
Write procedures and functions (included or not in packages)under the form scripts  .txt or .sql . Once they have been launched in SQL developer they should more the functions and the procedures from the packages in the current schema. If the current schema contains only 2 packages, pac1( with procedures p11,p12 and the functions f11,f12,f13) and pac2( contains the following procedures p21,p22,p23 and the functions f21 and f21( overloading cases), the execution of the scripts will generate the following effects:
The procedures p11,p12,p21,p22 ,p23 and the functions f11,f12 and f13 will be created in the current schema.
pac2 will contain 2 instances of the overloading function- f21; they will be kept in the package, without being created in the current schema; so all the procedures/functions overloaded will be kept in the original packages
If pac1 contains variables, cursors and public types, we will keep only the package specifics( and delete the body);generally if the packages do not contain procedures or functions overloaded the body will be deleted and if no variables, cursors, public types then we will delete the header.
If in the triggers, procedures, functions  we will call procedures/functions from the packages(the procedures and the functions moved in the current schema) they reference will need to be updated ( via amending the body or recompile) for example if pa1.p12 will need to be replaced with p12.
The scripts will have to have numbers in the following series( 01....n) and characters that explain the content.

My only advice would be to remember that these are public forums and if YOU can find them, so can your instructors.
Also, those are horrible procedure and function names
This assignment seems to be around overloading pl/sql objects and order of precedence...do a search on the Oracle Docs around overloading and inheritence

  • How to integrate Lotus Notes and upload Help Docs into SAP Portal

    Hi Experts,
I got 2 questions with regards to content in portal...
    1) I got nearly 30 to 40 help documents (PDF & WORD) which users may refer when accssing CRM & BW system in portal.
Currently they are stored in the Local Drive....i am trying to find a way to upload them portal...so the users can always have the docs the require
    and
    2) Can any one please update me in detail ...on how to integrate Lotus Notes into portal and configure Single Sign on  currently my Portal and Lotus Notes user id's are different
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Geethika,
    1. IF documents are on your local computer, Netweaver Portal has a KMC Addon (Knowledge Management and Collaboration). Within KM it is possible to run a Document Management Scenario. You can Create Folders within KM, give Access Rights to Users, Create an Iview to browse KM Folder then add that Iview to a Page or Role so users can access it.
For this, please chech the online documentation via http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/20/b46d42ea0b3654e10000000a155106/content.htm
    2. For Lotus Notes Integration, your Lotus Notes Server must be running on Windows Platform.
For the rest configuration please check the following:
Single Sign-On from SAP Enterprise Portal to Lotus Domino

I've the latest version of SAP Ticket Verifier, if you couldn't find it, I can send it to you.

  • Suggest the best mapping into SAP

    Hi gurus
    pls suggest the best solution
THE END CUSTOMER WILL FIRST GIVE AN OPEN PURCHASE ORDER TO MY CLIENT WHICH CONTAINS THE RATE WHICH IS CONSTANT, IT CAN BE FOR ANY NUMBER OF YEARS.
THEN THE CUSTOMER WILL RAISE SCHEDULED ORDER WITH A UNIQUE NUMBER. FOR EXAMPLE HE WILL RAISE ORDERS FOR
    MATRERIAL      NOS      DATE
    M00001          100      JAN10TH  FOR CONTROL PANEL DIVISION
M00002           200     JAN 15 TH  FOR PLASTICS DIVISION
M00003            150     JAN 20 TH FOR CONTROL PANEL DIVISION
    M00004            30     JAN 25TH FOR METALS DIVISION
EACH DIVISION WILL ENTER THEIR RESPECTIVE SALES ORDERS AND WILL  DELIVER THE GOODS.
LIKE WISE THE CUSTOMER WILL RAISE ANOTHER SCHEDULED ORDER WITH REFERENCE TO THE MAIN OPEN PURCHASE ORDER (SO THE RATES ARE CONSTANT WITH OPEN PURCHASE ORDER )
    REGARDS
    RAJESH

    1. Is the customer giving orders to multiple divisions within the company or is he giving order to the company which has multiple divisions ?
If he is giving order to multiple divisions within the company, then you have to create all of them as independent divisions and extend cusotmers to many sales areas. This is a tiresome and big work to do.
If he is giving order to the company which has multiple divisions then go with item level division and one common division for sale area purpose so that you can have a single sale order with multiple item level divisions which will go to your LIS.
Now you have completed the Org structure and Master Data
Coming to actual order from the customer, you can go with a schedule agreement.
Book the material, qty, rates and validity period in this schedule agreement.
Raise a sale order referring the schedule agreement whenever you have to dispatch goods to the customer.

  • Data coming from Three Applications and needs to post into SAP

    Hi all,
    i have scenario like
XI needs to take data from 3 Applications and do some validations like data comparision of comman records and post the comman data among the three to SAP.
Application1 will send text file and Application2 will send CSV file and Application3 will send xml file
    Ex:
    Application1:
    Emp No
    Emp Name
    Sal
    Location
    Application2:
    Emp No
    Emp Name
    Desgination
    Application3:
    Emp No
    Emp name
    Designation
    Location
Now the Target data should be
    Emp No
    Emp Name
    Designation
This is only the comman record which is there from 3 Applications.
    Regards

    Hi vamsi,
As the experts mentioned above BPM is the way to achieve your business requirement. When you use BPM there is a step to wait till the 3 messages to come into XI to process furthur.Refer to the following links choose the one that is useful to you.
Check this link for more information...
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/0e/56373f7853494fe10000000a114084/content.htm
take a look at this blog..
    /people/alexander.bundschuh/blog/2006/01/04/scheduling-messages-in-sap-xi
For your case yes its not mandatory to create communication channels for each step if the inputfiles are same and from same system..Else you obviously need to create different communication channels for each different file more over you mentioned that files are coming from 3 different application and should be merged. So 3 communication channels are required.
Refer the following link too to get better understanding on message merge
    Re: BPM - Message merge

  • Master data upload into SAP system

    Hello,
I want to know if there is any standard method to upload material master, customer master, vendor master and finance master data into SAP system.
I am not referring to LSMW's, BDC's and using BAPI's. I am aware of standard programs like RMDATIND for material master upload, RFBIDE00 for customer master upload and RFBIKR00 for vendor master upload. But these are using direct input method and SAP recommends this only for testing purpose. I am not sure if this could be really used in actual live scenarios.
From some other posts in the forum, I came to know about some transactions like BDLR, SXDB and BMVO. Can some one tell me how to use these T.Codes?
If some one has any detailed documentation on these T.codes or in general standard master data upload techniques please send it to [email protected]
    Thanks in advance,
    CMV

    Hi,
Define the following attributes, using the F4 input help and F1 field help:
    Report
Name of a registered program for this program type
    Variant
You can only specify a variant with programs that are started directly.
With direct input, data from the data transfer file undergoes the same checks as with the online transaction and is then transferred directly into the SAP System. The database is updated directly with the transferred data.
For the documentation of other transactions please refer the correponding program documentation..which is more helpful,

  • Bank Routing Numbers updates into SAP R/3

    Hi,
We have been downloadin FedACH directory from the web site https://www.fededirectory.frb.org/download.cfm and uploading every month into SAP using Batch Job (T-code BAUP). However, now for two- three vendors we also need to update Bank Master (Key) data for 2-3 Routing numbers manually which are present in FedWire directory on this website.
I tried to upload both the files using the same program RFBVALL_0 (BAUP) but the problem is that when i update 2nd file be it either Fedwire or FedACH, the updates done by the first file is either deleted or changed.
I am not sure how to update both the files in SAP R/3. Is there any seperate program to upload the FedWire & FedACH routing number ?
Can any one suggest on this.
    Thanks
    Manish Singhi

    Hi Sumit,
data transfer from SAP to an external system is very simple using IDOCs,
YOu must configure the sap system in such a way that it triggers an IDOC that would go to the XI system, whenever a business document like a PO or a SO is created. In XI, you can recieve the idoc in xml format, which can be mapped to the structure and format that is acceptable to the oracle database(You have to use a JDBC adapter).

  • How to read the data from a PDF document into SAP

    Hi Everyone,
I am trying to read a PDF document from my desktop and get the data into SAP but i am not getting successful.
I am using the method cl_gui_frontend_services=>gui_upload and passing the filename and type and importing the file length and the data into an internal table.

  • Data extraction into sap table  from legacy oracle database

    Hello All,
I have a scenario where I have two different software systems (SAP and xyz systems), where a intermediate table will be created in between the two systems that is shared. Data will be updated by the xyz systems into this shared table. Now, my questions regarding this shared table.
       1) Can we write some program or something to get the data from shared table to update the SAP?
       2) If possible send me the suggestions
       3) Please also send me the sample code to get the data from the shared table
    Thanks in advance,
      SDN powered

this shared table should be compatiable to sap fields...write code to fetch data from this table and assign data to appropriate fields in SAP and insert the data into sap.
    1. Push mechanism
Write a RFC on SAP side to insert entries into the table.
Call the RFC from xyz application passing the data you want to insert.
    2. Pull mechanism
Write a ABAP Program, where you can somehow read the data of the xyz application and insert data into the table.
    3. Flat file
Dump the data from xyz application into the file.
Write a ABAP program to read the file and update the table.
