    SAP Standard Menu helps you in including your own menu within the Sap menu bar .It helps us in making own function related to the program, sub routines or any transaction. The main advantage of this standard menu is that u can even modify this menu according to your client or project needs.
    The main advantage of the SAP Menu bar is that it can find specific transaction without knowing the transaction code.           SAP Menu is determined by the task you are doing in the SAP R/3 system.

  • How to change the screen field text in runtime

    Hi ,
      I want to change the screen button text in runtime IN ABAP dynpro screens. if anybody know this please post some helpful answer
    Regards,
    Anil kumar G

    Hi Anil..
    We can change the Text of a Pushbutton dynamically.
    For this:
    1. Declare a Global variable with the Same name as the Button in TOP include
      Eg:   Data: Button1(30).
    2. In the PBO module of the Screen assign the Text to this variable:
       Eg:
        Module set_text OUTPUT.
            Button1 = 'This is the text'.
        ENDMODULE.
    <b>REWARD IF HELPFUL.</b>

    Need your help...
    Regards,
    Sujoy

    Hi Sujoy,
    Addition to my previous post..Use the JavaScript I mentioned in my previous post in the onload of your BSP page. And after 30 minutes or so submit the form, you need to make a addition to the java script given in that link.
    See this code:
    <%@page language="abap" %>
    <%@extension name="htmlb" prefix="htmlb" %>
    <head>
    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE = "JavaScript">
    <!--
    var secs;
    var timerID = null;
    var timerRunning = false;
    var delay = 1000;
    function InitializeTimer()
        // Set the length of the timer, in seconds
        secs = 50;
        StopTheClock();
        StartTheTimer();
    function StopTheClock()
        if(timerRunning)
            clearTimeout(timerID);
        timerRunning = false
    function StartTheTimer()
        if (secs==0)
            StopTheClock();
            // Here's where you put something useful that's
            // supposed to happen after the allotted time.
            // For example, you could display a message:
            alert("You have wasted 50 seconds.");
            document.form1.submit();
        else
            self.status = secs;
            secs = secs - 1;
            timerRunning = true;
            timerID = self.setTimeout("StartTheTimer()", delay);
    /-->
    </SCRIPT>
    </head>
    <htmlb:content design="design2003" >
      <htmlb:page title  = "Timer test application "
                  onLoad = "InitializeTimer()" >
        <htmlb:form id="form1" >
          <htmlb:button text    = "Submit"
                        id      = "but01"
                        onClick = "myEvent" />
        </htmlb:form>
      </htmlb:page>
    </htmlb:content>
    OnInputProcessing you navigate to next page using
    navigation->goto_page( 'second.htm' ).
    Hope this helps...

  • Can we add a pushbutton on the list ?

    Hi,
    I have to print a internal table and  a push button after the list.
    I can do it by SE41 but that can't be done at the end of the list. Is there any way to put pushbutton at the end of the list.
    or can we write a internal table contents on the selection screen. Note that Internal table contents are not fixed and vary each time records are selected.
    Thanks
    Manoj

    hi,
    To create a pushbutton on the selection screen (similar to pushbuttons on screens), you use:
    SELECTION SCREEN PUSHBUTTON [/]<pos(len)> <push>
                                USER-COMMAND <ucom> [MODIF ID <key>].
    The [/]<pos(len)> parameters and the MODIF IF addition have the same function as for the formatting options for underlines and comments.
    <push> determines the pushbutton text. For <push>, you can specify a text symbol or a field name with a maximum length of eight characters. This character field must not be declared with the DATA statement, but is generated automatically with length <len>. The field must be filled before the selection screen is called.
    For <ucom>, you must specify a code of up to four characters. When the user clicks the pushbutton on the selection screen, <ucom> is entered in the UCOMM of the SSCRFIELDS interface work area. You must use the TABLES statement to declare the SSCRFIELDS structure. The contents of the SSCRFIELDS-UCOMM field can be processed during the AT SELECTION-SCREEN event.

  • Pushbutton on the application bar on an abap report

    Hello All,
    I need to have a pushbutton (labelled Download) on the application bar on the abap report screen .
    This button should enable me to download the report contents in a file format (like excel).
    Please can you guys help me acheive this.How should the button with this functionality be placed in application bar?
    Thanks in advance for the kind help
    Swati

    Hi Swathi,
    In such case, as said above, create a new GUi status and then assign to the report using the below statement:
    AT PFnn.
    Effect
    This obsolete statement defines an event block whose event is triggered by the ABAP runtime environment during list display - provided the screen cursor is on a list line and a function is selected using the function code PFnn. Here nn stands for a number between 01 and 24. In the standard list status, these function codes are assigned to the function keys of the input device.
    Then what processing needs to be done when the user presses the button, will be written in the below control statement..
    AT USER-COMMAND
    Effect
    This statement defines an event block whose event is triggered by the ABAP runtime environment if, during the display of a screen list, a function with a self-defined function code was chosen.
    Note
    Self-defined function codes are all those that include character combinations, except for the following:
    The function codes "PICK" and "PFnn" ("nn"stands for 01 to 24) do not cause the event AT USER-COMMAND, but the events AT LINE-SELECTION and AT PFnn.
    All function codes that start with the character "%" are interpreted as system functions and do not cause the event AT USER-COMMAND. The system functions for lists are listed in the following table 1.
    The function codes in the following table 2, likewise, do not cause the event AT USER-COMMAND, but are handled by the list processor.
    Table 1
    Function code Function
    %CTX Call a context menu
    %EX Exit
    %PC Save to file
    %PRI Print
    %SC Search for ...
    %SC+ Find next
    %SL Search in office
    %ST Save to report tree

    P-- Scroll to first page
    P+ Scroll to next page
    P++ Scroll to last page
    PFILE name Store list lines in a text file named "abap.lst" in standard character representation in the standard directory of the application server. If a name is entered using name, this is converted to lowercase letters and used as the file name.
    PL- Scroll to first line of the page

    Example
    This program works with a self-defined GUI status MYLIST. The function that is linked there with the function code MY_SELECTION causes the event AT USER-COMMAND during list display and also creates details lists.
    REPORT demo_at_user_command.
    START-OF-SELECTION.
      SET PF-STATUS 'MYLIST'.
      WRITE 'List line'.
    AT USER-COMMAND.
      IF sy-lsind = 20.
        SET PF-STATUS 'MYLIST' EXCLUDING 'MY_SELECTION'.
      ENDIF.
      CASE sy-ucomm.
        WHEN 'MY_SELECTION'.
          WRITE: / 'You worked on list', sy-listi,
                 / 'You are on list', sy-lsind.
      ENDCASE.

  • Pushbutton in selection screen

    Hi all
      i want to deactivate a pushbutton in selection screen.
      please help me...its urgent
       rewards assured..

    Hi gaurav,
    1. So, wats the use of MODIF ID?
    or wats the flaw in my approach
    Theres no flaw in your approach.
    2. Further, you are right.
       Whats the use of MODIF ID
      For buttons, we can use the name of the button.
    3. But if there is some parameter
       (along with LABEL on the left,
       or a radiobutton, with some text),
    4.
      Then with MODIF ID, the label also gets
      affected.
    (whereas if we just use the parameter name,
      the label may still remain)
    5. To get the differnce, just copy paste
    6.
    report abc.
    parameter : abc(10) type c MODIF ID A.
    At selection-screen output.
    ONCE CHECK WITH THIS CODE
      loop at screen.
        if screen-name = 'ABC'.
          screen-input = 0.
          screen-invisible = 1.
          modify screen.
        endif.
      endloop.
    THEN CHECK WITH THIS CODE
       loop at screen.
       if screen-GROUP1 = 'A'.
         screen-input = 0.
         screen-invisible = 1.
         modify screen.
       endif.
    endloop.

    amit m.

  • Get TEXT OF Pushbutton on selection-screen

    HI ,
       How can i get the name of the pushbutton on the selection-screen.

    Dear Arun,
    First of all Thanks for giving me points for your 'Time Query'.
    It was my first inauguration in sdn.
    Regarding this 'Button Name'  Query,
    It seems to me that your problem is still not solved.
    All the answers provided do 'Something Else'
    and your 'Real Questions' remains unsolved.
    Its a very good question. I also tried much and
    presently conclude that for achieving this :
    1. Some Discipline in Naming Convention has to be followed.
    2. This discipline is between
        a) Name of button
        b) user command for this button
    3. I have written a sample code in which
        a) 3 buttons appear on screen.
        b) press any one button
        c) then press 'Execute' Button For displaying name
    4. The main logic is to
        a) search by using a 'Loop at Screen'
        b) In the loop, in the name field search the ucomm.
    5. I hope this will be satisfactory till time. If it get
    something more, i will let u know.
    6. Once again please give points if u feel satisfied.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Amit Mittal.
    REPORT abc.

    REQUIRED
    TABLES sscrfields.
    Create Button
    Note : Name Of Button 'U1_HELLO'
            Starts with 'U1' (assigned user command)
            This kind of discipline required

    SELECTION-SCREEN PUSHBUTTON /10(20) u2_hello USER-COMMAND u2.
    SELECTION-SCREEN PUSHBUTTON /10(20) u3_hello USER-COMMAND u3.

    Please proceed as below:
    1. SE51.
    2. Change the layout.
    3. Add 2 pushbuttons at your desired location.
    4. Double click on each button for Attributes.
    5. In the attributes, give the Name, Text.
    6. Select the Icon Name from the list: Eg: ICON_OKAY and ICON_CANCEL.
    7. Go back to layout.
