Putting link on the appraisal portal.

Hi,
    I am ABAPer working on BSP these days, I have to put some link like past appraisal on the portal,
   when it is clicked the page in new window should open.
how to impliment this ????
thanks

Hi Adesh,
when i am executing the program after putting the code its giving error as "Class <htmlb:tree> (CL_HTMLB_TREE) was not found as BSP parent element
I guess in the Layout or View in your BSP application somewhere you have defined TreeNode element without the Tree element.
Somethign like:
<htmlb:treeNode id          = "node12"
                              text        = "Node12"
                              onNodeClick = "node12"
                              image       = "@03@"/>
Should be like:
<htmlb:tree id      = "myTree1"
                    title   = "Tree1"
                    tooltip = "Tooltip for myTree1"
                    toggle  = "X" >
<htmlb:treeNode id          = "node12"
                              text        = "Node12"
                              onNodeClick = "node12"
                              image       = "@03@"/>
</htmlb:tree>

  • Document or link for the Weblogic Portal Administration version 10

    Hi,
    This is Kalyan . I need to know is there any document for the Weblogic Portal Administraton Version 10 .I will be thankful if you send me link or any pdf document..
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Kalyan
    Easy way to start is create and deploy a simple portalEAR with portalWeb project on a Portal Domain. Then access the Portal Admin Console for your portal EAR. Once you are logged in, on the top right hand side, click on Help Link, and this open a big html page with list of topics for all the areas in Portal Admin Console. The link will be some thing like this: http://localhost:7001/iodEARAdmin/helpTools/locales/en/portal/help/toc.html (Here iodEAR imy portal application deployed on this domain).
    Here is a link just on how to Extend portal admin console: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13155_01/wlp/docs103/extendadmin/index.html

  • Share Point redirects my "sites" link on the O365 Portal main page - help!

    Can anyone tell me how to fix an inadvertent redirect?
    When I login to my O365 Portal, I am at my main page with the various tiles for Calendar, Tasks, Admin, Sites, OneDrive, etc.  When I click on the "sites" tile, Share Point redirects to my "OneDrive for Business" page.
    How do I get it back to the "out of the box" default, so that when I click on the "sites" tile, I end up at my Team Site page?

    Hi Archid,
    Per my knowledge, when we click the Sites tile, it will redirect us to the page with the sites that we are following
    https://xxxxx/personal/xxxx/Social/Sites.aspx.
    I recommend to right click the Sites tile and then select the Properties to see the URL of the tile.
    In general, the URL of the Sites tile should be
    https://xxxxx/_layouts/15/MySite.aspx?MySiteRedirect=AllSites. Please check if the URL of the Sites tile is right.
    If it is the correct URL, I recommend to type the URL in the browser directly and then check the results.
    In the meanwhile, you can post your question to the forum for Office 365: http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/default.aspx.
    More experts will assist you, then you will get more information relation to SharePoint Online.

  • FPN - Saving BI Links (KM Bookmarks) to the Consumer Portal Favorites

    Hi, I'm posting this message again in hopes that either a mentor, SAP person, or Portal Expert can help.  I have received several emails from people looking to do the same thing I am.  The problem seems like a major integration gap between Portals and BI.
    We use a Federated Portal Network where the Enterprise Portal (EP) is the Consumer Portal and the BI
    Portal (BP) is the Producer Portal. BI Report Users access BI Reports from the Enterprise Portal through Remote Role Assignment.
    BI Report "Save As" functionality allows you to save a "KM Bookmark" to the BI Portal Favorites. I am specifically looking to save a "KM Bookmark" to the Enterprise Portal(Consumer) Favorites and NOT the BI Portal(Producer).  This only makes sense since our users only have access to the Enterprise Portal.
    Our users are accessing their BI Reports from the Enterprise Portal and the users would like to save a link (KM Bookmark) to their Enterprise Portal Favorites.  Currently, it looks like the "Save As" Functionality for saving "KM Bookmarks" is only allowing (Pointing) us to save the KM bookmarks to our BI Portal.
    1. In an FPN Environment can we save a "KM Bookmark" Link to a BI Report into the Enterprise (Consumer) Portal Favorites?
    2. If we are in a FPN Environment and users cannot save KM Bookmarks to Enterprise Portal Favorites and can only put "KM Bookmarks" in the BI Portal then how are users to access their links from the Enterprise Portal Environment?
    3. Just a note.  I think these saved links are called KM Bookmarks.  You can see this from the BI Report "Save As" dialog.  If you do a search through SAP Documentatiion you do not see a single reference to "KM Bookmark".
    4. I have found OSS Note1149597, but I do not believe this addresses this exact issue
    If anyone can provide some valuable insight into this Portal and BI Integration it would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank You,
    Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Has anyone seen any new information on this?  The described behavior makes the BI query "save" function completely useless in the context of an FPN consumer portal.
    Note [1149597|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1149597] is very little help as near as I can tell.  We tested the "fix" in a DEV environment, and while it technically "resolves" the problem with where the favorites get saved, we end up with all of our BI content actually being "published" to the consumer by the BEx tools.  This sort of defeats the purpose of implementing an FPN in the first place, even if the requests are redirected back to the producer by the recommended BEx iView mods.
    We have implemented a work-around by creating a RDL in our consumer portal to the producer portal's standard "Portal Favorites" iView.  However, we're not happy with this solution as we end up with multiple "favorites" areas in our central consumer portal (one for remote BI content and another for "local" favorites).  We also don't want to maintain the favorties that get saved to the producer portal.

  • I need to get link for the complete customization steps for Trade Promotion

    Hi Champs,
    I appreciate if anyone of you can provide me the complete customization steps or the link on the sap portal for trade promotions .A link of it`s theory will can also be useful but I specifically need the lin k fore the crm customization steps needed for trade promotions.
    Thanks + Regards,
    Conte

    Conte,
    Honestly your question is too broad to be answered here.  In addition to those forum threads please check the best practices for CRM to see how to confgure some of the components used by TPM:
    http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv12007/CRM_DE/HTML/index.htm
    In addition review your solution manager along with the standard SAP help for information.
    If you have specific questions when configuring your system, please feel free to post those as new separate questions.
    I'm going to lock this thread from further replies, as this question is too vague to receive a correct response.
    Thank you,
    Stephen

  • How to Render Webi, Crystal Report ,Xcelcius and Pioneer on the NW Portal

    Gurus,
    How to render each of the products mentioned below on the portal ,or what are the possible ways and best approach.
    example - Iview or just Link on the Netweaver  portal
    Webi
    Crystal Report
    Xcelcius
    Pioneer
    Thanks in advance

    hi,
    at the end an iView is nothing else than just a container so it is up to you to decide how you want to show the content - as a link to a new page or as an embedded page or as iView...... that should be based on the requirements.

    Hi again Raja!
    I did as you recommended and installed HTTPWatch and below is the outcome of that program. It is the exact string with the only exception of obfuscated servernames and portnumbers. The last part that begins with "sap_ep_baseurl=" makes me suspicious, is that part really correct? It looks like it's lacking things.

  • How to put links to E-Business suite pages in Oracle Portal

    Hi All,
    I am looking to create an employee portal using Oracle Portal 11g. One of the requirements is to provide some summary information on, say benefits in the portal and provide a link to the detailed benefits page in e-business suite from there (portal is fully integrated with EBS in our case). Can someone with experience doing this put light on the following :
    1. What is the simplest way to provide the links ?
    2. Is there any way to make them migration proof ? for example : my link now points to the DEV environment and in the production, it should point to the PROD.
    Regards,
    Vinayaka

    Hi,
    This question would probably be better addressed in the E-Business Suite forum at https://forums.oracle.com/forums/category.jspa?categoryID=3

  • How to put a web link in the detailed navigation

    How can you put a web link in the detailed navigation?
    I know that if your role contains iviews that are 3 levels down (default), then the link to the iview will appear in the detailed navigation. But, I want to put a link to a external site in the detailed navigation - is this possible?
    Thanks
    Patrick

    I have a page set with a url iview and it opens from the detailed navigation in a  new window fine.
    however when clicking on a link to the page via a landing page which displays the KM content page folders, it loads it in the portal active window still (with nav and masthead).
    Any ideas how to get the km link to open in a new browser window?
    thanks

    hi All,
              Wih the program RSWUWFML2 i am able to get the options like 1) workflow entry 2)workitem Display 3) workitem execution .
    When i click the workitem execution , it is going to SAP inbox and able to execute the workitem.
    How to do the same thing with Protal Gui. In my case most of the users will not have sap logon access but they do have protal acess.
    Like Option 3, if i click how to connect the protal and process the work item.
    Regards
    Venakat

    Hi,
    you have to copy this Program [RSWUWFML2|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/moH8B] and modify. In this program mail is sent via the FM 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1' before this code you  have modify the content of the email, you have to pass the link of the Portal in the mail.
    So that from the link users can able to logon to portal,if it is [Single Sign On|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/d0c78148-12de-2a10-27bf-960acc753aab], no password will ask otherwise the user have to enter the password.

  • Need to add a link to the masthead area of the Portal

    Hi
    I need to add a link to the masthead area of the portal. That link needs to be able to print the content of the current page.
    Ihave downloaded the com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead into the NWDS.
    Can anybody please let me know where exactly to modify the code.
    i am guessing i may need to use window.print() to print the page.
    Thanks
    Sharath
    Thanks
    Sharath

    Step 1: Adding new link in the masthead
    1. Rename the par file to your own namespace and import the PAR using eclipse
    2. To add your link - modify HeaderiView.jsp appropriately
    3. Build the PAR and export using Eclipse
    Step 2: Create an iView
    1. Content Administrator -> Portal Content -> Select the folder in which you need to create the masthead iView. Right click on the selected folder and "Select New From PAR" -> iView
    2. Select the PAR file name created by you in Step 1 a
    3. Choose "default" in Portal Component Selection
    4. Provide the properties for the iView and save
    Step 3: Modify Portal Masthead
    1. Add the iView created in Step 2 to the Framework Page of your application
    2. Remove the existing Masthead iView from the framework page and add iView created in Step 2 in the framework page.
    3. Note that the position should be the same where the previous masthead is removed.
    Logoff and logon with the user who is assigned the framework page - you should be able to see the new masthead with links
    Incase you are changing the default framework page and default masthead ensure that you have a backup so that you can revert.
