Python error in blender [SOLVED]

Hello.
I get a python error when i try to extrude a polygon in blender 2.64a-6
I have latest arch on 64bit architecture with python 3.3.0-1 (as python package) and python 2.7.3-2 (as python2 pacakge) installed.
I am running gnome 3.6.2. Maybe someone knows what is wrong?

  • [SOLVED] Python errors on upgrade

    Hello, it would seem that I have failed to notice over the last week to week and a half that I have been failing to upgrade my system because of python errors (it would seem I have been glazing over the stream of python errors dismissing them as failed updates that would be magically "fixed" in the next update). I have google for similar problems but most of them deal with __pycache__ being the sole problem which I have already deleted from the python3.4 to no avail. As I look over the failures it would seem it is not wholly attributed to __pycache__ folders only either.
    Here is the output I get on submitting sudo pacman -Syu:
    error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)

    How sad, I could have had this fixed a week ago had I just read this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pa … 9.22_error
    The conflicting package was requests. For some reason it wasn't owned by any package.

  • [Solved] No module named parse- python errors as own user

    A number of applications on my system (wicd and turpial, among others) return python errors when I run them as my own user. I can run these applications as root with no errors, so I'm not missing any packages. The most common of these errors, appearing when I run applications like turpial and hotot looks like this:
    ➤ turpial
    Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "/usr/bin/turpial", line 5, in <module>
    from pkg_resources import load_entry_point
    File "/usr/lib/python3.3/site-packages/pkg_resources.py", line 17, in <module>
    from urllib.parse import urlparse, urlunparse
    ImportError: No module named parse
    When I run wicd-curses:
    ➤ wicd-curses
    Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "/usr/share/wicd/curses/wicd-curses.py", line 44, in <module>
    from dbus import DBusException
    File "/usr/lib/python3.3/site-packages/dbus/__init__.py", line 82, in <module>
    import dbus.types as types
    File "/usr/lib/python3.3/site-packages/dbus/types.py", line 6, in <module>
    from _dbus_bindings import (
    ImportError: /usr/lib/python3.3/site-packages/_dbus_bindings.so: undefined symbol: PyBytes_Type
    Again, both applications mentioned here work fine when run as root. It should also be noted that I only installed turpial after already witnessing this error with hotot-gtk3-git. Has anyone seen this before, or have any idea how to start troubleshooting it?
    Thanks.
    EDIT: It was a Pythonpath issue.

    Thank you! That worked

    already replaced rc.conf  network for networkmanager
    Testing version of cnetworkmanager, and tried the june 2010 version as well.

    As I only have internet via windows I'm sadly unable to be more comprehensive

    REALLY need a cure so that I can PERHAPS get a sprint 250U to connect via 3g.
    Not that optimistic. Big apology for having been unable to get online for a couple of days doing this from windows hence lack of detail.
    Here's the python error have tried both versions of cnetworkmanager. If I can get my arch updated will it fix it. Haven't updated for a few days.
    THANK YOU.
    kinda frustrated and that's saying something as it's usually all good fun when times not a problem as it is right now.
    Python testing as well, though from a few days ago. Hoping if I can go somewhere and update my arch boot via eth0 it'll make it possible to connect via 3g when I get back home.

    Good gravy, 3 GB of updates? I think you win an award for that or something.
    When something like this happens to me I usually only have, like, a couple of packages that I'm updating. I assume, for some reason, the new bash package is conflicting with your old bash package. So I would (temporarily) uninstall bash, then go ahead and reinstall install (only) bash.
    ...so, either this will help you, or someone smarter than me will respond almost instantly telling you that I'm giving you horrible advice and teach you what you SHOULD do to resolve the problem. Either way, you're welcome.

  • Error while blending version

    Hi.
    while blending two versions,
    I am getting error like Error:21011:Blender property is not runnable because:the hierarchy set list for the blender is invalid.
    Please advise

    I've seen 'the hierarchy set list for the blender is invalid' in the past when one of the following blend options was not ticked and a blend was run:
    Process Structure
    Process Inserts
    Process Removes
    Process Activations
    Process Hierarchy Validation Assignments
    Process Properties (all or selected)
    Have you got one or more of these options ticked in your blend? If you do which release are you using here (e.g. 11.1.2.3.500 etc)?
    The more specific you can be when creating posts, the more likely it is we'll be able to offer accurate tips for debugging

    Aborting...
    It is not the PKGBUILD's fault, apparently, as the same error occurs when I autogen-configure-make manually. So is there something wrong with my system, the python setup maybe? (I tried manually replacing "python" by "python2.7" in the Makefile – no success.) Or is it an upstream bug, maybe related to this bug? Is there anything I can do?
    Sorry if the answer is obvious, but I really do not feel like I understand this python stuff properly. Also, sorry for duplicating my AUR comments – it was only today that I figured I might get more response in the forum.

    Don't panic, I don't. Just did not have time before now.
    EDIT: Done. I am still throwing in the towel, though. I was trying to make a gtkmm-git PKGBUILD, because I need the latest gtkmm for development. However for gtkmm-git I needed gtk-git, for which I needed glib-git and pango-git. I successfully (at least it appears so) managed to install glib-git and pango-git, but now I get a linker error with gtk-git and will not spend another day looking for its source. I will just wait until gtkmm-3.1 is released.
    EDIT 2: Alright, it appears there must have been something wrong with my "successfull" installs as well, as I just started a gtk app (Balsa) and it did not have any font, just rectangles for letters. Replacing glib-git and pango-git with their stable counterparts turned everything right again.

    Yep, seems like lots of us are getting this.
    I thought it was actually stopping scrot though the screen shot does occur. The message looks like it's fatal though.
    i would have thought that scrot didn't start 'till i found screenshots.

    Actually the problem is not yet fully solved. I tried again the command 'packer-color -S pybliographer' and there is another error:
    Dependency `scrollkeeper' of `pybliographer' does not exist.
    $ packer-color -S scrollkeeper
    Package `scrollkeeper' does not exist.
    I searched for scrollkeeper with command 'packer-color -Ss scrollkeeper' and the output was:
    extra/rarian 0.8.1-2
        Documentation meta-data library, designed as a replacement for Scrollkeeper.
    I tried installing rarian, but pybliographer wants only scrollkeeper.
    I could easily install and run pybliographer in ubuntu, so apparently the project itself is still viable.

  • Indesign quit unexpectedly with this  error " Transparency blend Space "

    i need some hand-helping please
    I just exported to pdf, and got this message, and would be happy to fix it if I had a clue what to do:
    The document's transparency blend space doesn't match the destination color space specified in the Export Adobe PDF settings. To avoid color appearance changes in the PDF, click cancel and change either the document's transparency blend space, or the destination color space.
    i’ve checked  the Edit.Transparency Blend Space which is already on CMYK i have no PDF's placed in the document.  also checked Adobe PDF Presets; "Output" tab; Change "Destination" to Document CMYK - U.S. Web Coated. which works for me.
    but no matter which preset i pick ;  as soon as indesign starts to make a PDF file  InDesign has unexpectedly quit.
    i though it might be fix with uninstall and reinstall .. done but the problem is still there i also try another file which i worked on before  and they had no problem but the result are the same for them as well . I'm getting the same message I started with.
    using cc version will be appreciate if any one could point me what is the problem and what to do ?

    This probably has nothing to do with  transparency or the blend space -- that's a common non-fatal error that crops up when you are using a color profile that doesn't match the one specified in the preset.
    Start by trashing the prefs. See Replace Your Preferences
    If that doesn't solve it, see Adobe Community: File Crashing on Output - printing/PDF/other

    1. JBO-25017: Error while creating a new entity row for Member.
    2. oracle.jbo.server.DBTransactionImpl2
    I don't know what they mean?? and what should I do to solve them??
    Thanks,

    Dha_Suh,
    Seems like it would be pretty easy to use the debugger, set a breakpoint on the first line, and step through to see where the exception comes from. The only thing that comes to mind: do you have a sequence created in your database called forum_m_id?

  • Error Msg Adding Solved Points

    I am trying to give someone Solved Points in a question I started.
    When I hit the Solved box I get this error: Error
    "An error in the system has occurred. Please contact the system administrator if the problem persists."
    This has been going on for more than a day. I tried on Safari and Firefox both giving the same error. I sent Apple a note on the issue.
    Anything I can do?
    thanks,

    There are 3 things you can do:
    1. Be patient while you wait for the the adminstrator(s) of the Apple Discussions sort out the problem (it's a known issue)
    2. Try to keep track of those posts you'd like to award points to, and award them when the problem is fixed
    3. Bask in the appreciation of those who get some gratification from the stars!
    Note that #2 and #3 are completely optional...and #1 is also optional as far as the patience part goes (although you don't have much choice about the waiting part).

  • Error Builind Blender From AUR

    I am trying to build Blender from the AUR using this package:

    I checked on ffmpeg's site and it says that as of May 3rd, 2010, this bug was fixed in revision r311. The Arch version was updated via pacman on May 9th, 2010. It is my assumption that this update is in there. Does anyone else have problems building this package?

    While the issue gets resolved you can try changing the _CXXFLAGS lines from:
    _CFLAGS=`echo $CFLAGS | sed -e "s/\ -O.//" -e "s/^/'/" -e "s/\ /','/g" -e "s/$/'/"`
    _CXXFLAGS=`echo $CXXFLAGS | sed -e "s/\ -O.//" -e "s/^/'/" -e "s/\ /','/g" -e "s/$/'/"`
