Q10 how do I definethe time period in which my emails are kept on my smartphone, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days forever etc...

I am confused..."Advanced Options" is not there? Or inside of Advanced Options, "Sync Timeframe" is not there?
I'm sorry but I don't have any POP integrated accounts (gave up on POP years ago, IMAP and ActiveSync are so much more powerful), so I can't compare specifically for you. It may possibly be called "Days to Synchronize", and may possibly be elsewhere in the Account screens for that specific account.
Or, indeed, it just may not exist as an available setting for POP.

Maybe you should have used an even simpler application like MPEG Streamclip. If file names (either originals copied to your HD or those imported by iMovie '08) are in their proper sequence order, then simply drag and drop all of the files to the MPEG Streamclip work area (or use the "Open files" option to select the entire sequence via the Finder browser), fix time code breaks (Command-F), and then save the files in their current compression format (MPEG2/AC3 multiplexed file or MOV with I-framed MPEG2 video and AIFF audio) using the "Save As..." option or (if you have the QT MPEG-2 Playback Component installed) export as DV, AIC, or other target format as preferred for further editing, DVD burning, Internet uploading, etc.

How to Group discontinued time periods

Hi All:
I have an issue which costs me bunch of time to develop. Basically I am trying to use discounted time in a select query but feel like get nowhere to start.
the scenarios is like this:
I have many rows of data of this and I would like to have a solution I can select time period from just like what I can do for integer and text:

How to increase the time period in Debugger

If we put Debugging screen Idle for some time,we will get timed out Status bar message.Can we increase that time period.

A work process which is processing your task is set into a DEBUG mode.
Debugging in general does requesting a huge memory consumption and system resources as well.
This means that system is moving data to its extended memory in PRIV mode.
In this mode normal request being processed by other work processes are located in local memory instead of extended. Extended memory is occupied by data for debugging user exclusively. However this cannot persist in system for a long time. So since you are not active in debugging session for some time system is canceling whole debugging with following messages:
1) Transaction from "PRIV" session reset after timeout (Message no. 14048)
2) Transaction from "DEBUG" mode (after timeout) reset (Message no. 14056)
From basis point of view for production system there should not be a necessity to adjust profile parameters in order to allow debugging for a long time and for a so much users. If you wish to avoid this message anyway or you want to make debugging more comfortable on development or test system you need to consider following profile parameters:
1)rdisp/max_priv_time # Standard value: 600
2)rdisp/wppriv_max_no # Standard value: MAX(1, Anzahl Dialog-WPs)
3)rdisp/max_debug_lazy_time # Standard value: 600

No luck, unfortunetly. I've even restarted the whole computer. They are usually still there, and sometimes, even older messages that I deleted from the drafts folder a long time ago, reappear as well. I've also deleted the account from Mail and set it up from scratch several times hoping that would work, but it failed as well.

I think that PROMPT SELECTINPUT should be able to do what you need: have 2 selections of same Dimension in one Package. Take a look at example given in the documentation [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_bpc75_nw/helpdata/en/e9/23ece2cfd7489f8aa457d78d306a38/frameset.htm].

How does one change the folder to which scanned images are saved?

Using a CanoScan 9000F Mark II scanner
Using the ScanGear driver software that came with it
Right now every time I scan something, it is automatically saved in "My Documents", and I have to drag and drop the file where I really want it to go. How do I change it so that the file is saved where I want it to go in the first place. Also, it is automatically assigning a file name so that I have to go to the file and change that to what I would like it to be too. How do I make it so that I can name the file before it gets saved. Neither do I see where it gives me the option to choose the format in which the file is saved; it is saving the files automatically as JPG, but I would like to save them as TIFF or BMP.
These seem to be very standard options; so I don't know why I'm finding it so hard. I must be blind or something.

How do I set the folder to which temporary files are saved?

As of now, whenever I click "Open with..." when downloading a file, a copy of that file saves to my desktop and never gets cleared. I'd like to set the temporary folder so I can manually clear it periodically, but the only file management option I seem to have is to set downloads to always save in a certain folder--which does not appear to include "temporary" files. How can I change the destination folder for temporary downloads? And why does Firefox download and save the files before opening them? I don't want to save every PDF I read online, yet this seems to be the default setting in order to open files.

You probably need to set that temp folder in the Safari Preferences to set them for other programs.
Safari > Preferences > General > Save Dowloaded Files To
You can also set the Boolean pref browser.helperApps.deleteTempFileOnExit to true on the about:config page.

Not all Callbacks actually do anything, and this is one of them. But you can see if it has any steps by looking at the original in the Process Model Sequence File - "SequentialModel.seq". How can I find where my Aperture 3 RAW files are kept?

Hi,
I need to clear my mac to free up some disk space. The majority of space it used by apurture so ideally I would like to save all these RAW files to a hard drive. I don't want to export them I just want to find the original files/versions. Does anyone know how to do this?
I also use TIme machine back up so would they be automatically stored on here?

Note that any moving of Masters must be done from within Aperture. Do not try to simply move them or you will probably lose the connection. After you move your Masters to external drives as Terence described, your Masters will be "referenced" and the Aperture Library will be a civilized size. The Aperture Library should remain on the internal drive.
Time Machine has a spotty history with Aperture backups. IMO original images should be backed up before import into Aperture or any other images management app, and the Aperture Library should be backed up from within Aperture using Vaults.

When I email myself a picture from my iphone 4s, the email is sent from an email account that I don't have set up as the default account. How can I set it up so that the emails are coming from the default account selected in Mail?

Under my mail tab, it shows that I have a specific email account set up as a default account. That is the account I would like for me emails to be sent from. But when I actually send out an email such as a picture, it is being sent from one of my different email accounts that is not set up as the default. How can I change this so that future messages will be sent from the default account? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

A photo attached to a message with the iPhone's Mail app is sent as a true attachment to the message. How an inline or viewed in place attachment appears on the recipient's end depends on the recipient's email client. If the recipient's email client does not support viewing an attached photo inline or viewed in place within the body of the message, the attached file must be manually selected and opened to viewed.

I save many PDF documents which I then attach to various internal forms.
Is there a way to create a folder to which the scanned document can automatically be saved without having to browse for the folder every time I save a document?

Unless your scanning software has that feature, "Save as" opens up a "browse" window by default in Windows or Mac. I had an old Lexmark scanner that allowed setting a default save location for "bulk scans", but I haven't seen that feature in years.

Regardless of what font style I choose when compiling an email it is always recieved by the recipient in the same default not very good style, I cannot find anywhere under options etc where I can change this. I did not have this issue when using Outlook Express on my previous computer.

If you're concerned about setting a specific font in outgoing messages, then I think the Stationery add-on will be useful to you. You can set up a template with explicit font specifications (but do bear in mind that not all fonts are available on all computers. We don't all use Windows!)
My experience is that the default html formatting in Thunderbird sets the size but not the face. Your recipient's email client, not being able to find a formal font request, will offer up whatever its default is set to, often Times Roman on a Windows system.

The trouble with this add-on is that it gives you a means to employ templates, but leaves you to your own devices to generate or obtain any. Most users would already be using stationery templates acquired for use with OE and wouldn't be concerned with creating their own.
