QINF table-value updation

Hi,
     In Quality Info record Report i want to display all the fields presented in QINF table,same time one additional column is to be added
  with editable option.In some condition user will type some value or (some date)in the editable field and save it,while saving it is to be updated on release date field in Qinf table.May i know how to save and update it.

Hi Anitha,
To update a DB table from a work area or an internal table, you have to declare the work area or an internal table of type DB table.
While updating using work area make sure that the mandt field is filled.
UPDATE dbtable FROM workarea.
Or.. You can set the value for a particular field using..
UPDATE SFLIGHT SET SEATSOCC = wa-seatsocc
                                  WHERE CARRID = wa-carrid AND
                                               CONNID = wa-connid AND
                                               FLDATE = wa-fldate.

  • How to update the table value in the valuechange event?

    I have an input field in the datatable with the valueChangeListener
    <rich:dataTable id="cart" value="#{cart.cartList}" var="item">
    <h:inputText value="#{item.cost}" id="qty" valueChangeListener="#{items.updateCost}" onchange="submit()">
    <h:outputText value="#{item.errorMsg}"> </h:outputText>
    in the backing bean
         Item item = (Item) model.getRowData();
    // do some update, if the cost too larger, change to max_cost
         item.setCost(max_cost);
         item.setErrorMsg("Error Msg");
    After calling the valuechange method, the screen output doesn't update the cost.
    How to update the table value in the valuechange event?

    As you're misusing the valueChangeListener to set another input field, you need to skip the update model values phase. Otherwise the value set in the valueChangeListener will be overridden by the submitted value. You can do this by calling the FacesContext#renderResponse() inside the valueChangeListener method. This will shift the current phase immediately to the render response phase, hereby skipping the update model values and invoke application phases.

  • What are the tables will update while loading Master data ?

    Hello Experts,
    What are the tables will update while loading Master data ? And requesting you to provide more information about Master data loading and its related settings in the beginning of creation infoobjects.

    It depends upon the type of Master data u r loading....
    In all the master data loadings, for every new value of master data an SID will be created in the SID table /BI*/S<INFOOBJECT NAME> irrespective of the type of master data.
    But the exceptional tables that get updated depending on the type of master data are.....
    If it is a time Independent master data then the /BI*/P<INFOOBJECT NAME> table gets updated with the loaded data.
    If it is a time dependent master data then the /BI*/Q<INFOOBJECT NAME> table gets updated with the loaded data.
    If the master data is of time Independent Navigational attributes then for every data load the SID table will get updated first and then the /BI*/X<INFOOBJECT NAME> table gets updated with the SID's created in the SID table (NOT WITH THE MASTER DATA).
    If the master data is of time dependent navigational attributes then for every data load the SID table will get updated first and then the /BI*/Y<INFOOBJECT NAME> table gets updated with the SID's created in the SID table (NOT WITH THE MASTER DATA).
    NOTE: As said above, For all the data in P, Q, T, X, Y tables the SID's will be created in the S table /BI*/S<INFOOBJECT NAME>
    NOTE: Irrespective of the time dependency or Independency the VIEW /BI*/M<INFOOBJECT NAME> defined on the top of /BI*/P<INFOOBJECT NAME> & /BI*/Q<INFOOBJECT NAME> tables gives the view of entire master data.
    NOTE: it is just a View and it is not a Table. So it will not have any physical storage of data.
    All the above tables are for ATTRIBUTES
    But when it comes to TEXTS, irrespective of the Time dependency or Independency, the /BI*/T<INFOOBJECT NAME> table gets updated (and of course the S table also).
    Naming Convention: /BIC/*<InfoObject Name> or /BI0/*<InfoObject Name>
    C = Customer Defined Characteristic
    0 = Standard or SAP defined Characteristic
    * = P, Q, T, X,Y, S (depending on the above said conditions)
    Thanks & regards

  • Open Delivery value update error in credit management

    Hi
    We have credit management active at delivery level. The value of open deliveries is not getting updated correctly for items with material substitution (material determination). For all other items, its getting updated correctly.
    E.g Let say the credit limit set in FD32 is 10000 and the credit limit used % is 98 and the credit exposure value is 9800.
    Now when I create an order with qty 10 for mat A, it creates a sub item B due to material determination and the value of the item is Rs.1200. In our system, the sub item with TAPS item category is relevant for pricing.
    Then I create a delivery in VL01N and save it.
    Now if i check in FD33, the credit limit used should be 101% and the credit exposure value should be 11000, but its not updating the open delivery value correctly. Its not considering the value of the new delivery.
    However, If I add a normal item (TAN) in the same sales order and create a delivery for that item and save it, its updating the credit exposure based on the value of the normal item in the delivery correctly.
    How to make the system update the open delivery values correctly by taking the items with material determination also into account.??
    Please advise if any specific settings need to be done.
    Regards
    Madhu

    Hi,
    the system updates open values for credit management. These are:
    Open sales order credit value (S066-OEIKW)
    Open delivery credit value (S067-OLIKW)
    Open billing document credit value (S067-OFAKW)
    The system updates the open values in standard SIS structures S066 and S067. Technically, the structures are transparent tables. You can display the contents using transaction SE16 or using table maintenance.
    The S067-OLIKW will give the open delivery credit values credit.Check in you system whether this table is updated with the delivery values for the credit account(customer number)
    RVKRED77 u2013 Reorganize SD credit data
    When updating errors occur, it enables you to reorganize the open credit, delivery and billing document values.
    If the table is not updated run this report in background.

  • Alter table then Update in PL/SQL block

    I am trying to alter the table then update it :
    declare
    colCount number;*
    begin*
    select count(*) into colCount from all_tab_cols where table_name = 'TEST' and owner = 'TEST_OWNER';*
    dbms_output.put_line('No of Columns in the table : ' || colCount);*
    if colCount = 2  then*
    dbms_output.put_line('Table needs upgrade');*
    execute immediate('ALTER TABLE TEST ADD COL1 VARCHAR2(100) NULL');*
    UPDATE TEST SET COL1 = '123';*
    commit;*
    else*
    dbms_output.put_line('No Changes Required');*
    end if;*
    end;*
    Oracle complains that "COL1" is an invalid identifier.
    I also tried substitute the UPDATE statement with
    **     execute immediate('UPDATE TEST SET VCHCHARSET_OUT='UTF8' WHERE VCHCHARSETNAME='UTF8'');**
    and there is something wrong with the construction of an Update statement in the parenthesis.
    Am I taking the right approach and just need to figuire out the syntax of single quotes or something else is wrong?
    thanks in advance.

    Yes, you are absolutely right, I shouldn't alter the table and then update the values.
    The reason I need to do it relates to the migration process we utilize in our company. Initially I had a set of SQL commands which I executed migrating from one environment to another and eventually to Production. I had an error in the last SQL command which caused migration process to produce "Failure", however the table was already altered and all the rows except the last one were updated. Since I can't successfully migrate to Production with the failed process I have to generate a PL/SQL block which will take in consideration that in one environment the table has already been modified and in the other one is still needs to be changed.

  • How to capture userid,date in a custom table while updating a form

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to insert the userid, the form name and the date on which the record is saved in a custom table while updating a custom form.
    We are using Form Builder 6.0.
    I am new to Forms and can anyone help me with these?
    I would also want to know under which trigger i should be writing the code in.
    Thanks in advance.

    you can use:
    usrid := get_application_property(username);
    formname := get_application_property(current_form);
    dt := to_char(sysdate,'dd/mm/yyyy hh:mi:ss');
    you insert these values in on-update trigger at form level

  • Table values are not passed to context.

    Hi,
    Im trying to build a online(WD ABAP) form with a BAPI which is having import, export and tables parameters.
    I have binded Datasource with main node and Template source I have binded with the form which I created with the form interface using context fromBAPI. Then I got all importing and exporting parameters. And tables I have got under Changing Node of Data View in the form. But there is one other node called Data is created automatically under changing node and under that DATA node I got Table and under that I got again Data Node created and there I have all the attributes.
    I dragged table on to the form. But when Im tesing the form by submitting, Im not getting table values which are entered in table. But all other values which are binded to importing parameters Im able to get the values.
    Can some one tell me how to get the values from table to context? And can I have dynamic table in the form to map to the context so that I can update the data through BAPI?
    Warm Regards,
    J.Smitha.

    Hi,
    Smitha, you can defnetly use dynamic table in interactive form. I had similar problem and I acheived like follwing:Basically you have to bind the table .
    If you want to have fixed number of rows in the interactive form, then in wddoinit method bind the internal table to ur table node. for exmaple: if u want 2 rows in the form loop times . So by default when you open the form you will get two rows for the table.
    **************BIND THE ITAB ****************************
    DO 2 TIMES.
    APPEND LW_LFBK TO LT_LFBK.
    CLEAR LW_LFBK.
    ENDDO.
    CALL METHOD lo_nd_t_lfbk->bind_table
    EXPORTING
    new_items = LT_LFBK.
    If you want to have dynmic table then take a submit button in the form instead of normal button,
    in onaction submit write a loop every time you click that new submit button it should add a new row.
    use above coding in onactionsubmit instead of doinit.
    Thats it.
    Regards,
    Ravi

    well, did you either restart the instance or add another tempdb file (no restart required) to let other transactions  continue on the server.
    or check if autogrowth was limited, change that to unlimnited , to the transactions conintue..
    the function may be dumping the data on to tempdb, how much data are you excepting back...what are indexes on the tables
    Hope it Helps!!

  • Table value parameters Question

    I would like to use a table valued parameter to create an invoice. It will insert into the invoice header data table the header and then it will insert the invoice detail all with different tables. The problem is that until now I was doing this using 2 separate
    procedures
    1. insert into invoice header
    2. insert into invoice detail - this was done with a foreach loop
    foreach row in the invoice insert into invoice detail and it was also adjusting the inventory like so:
    USE [Trial]
    GO
    /****** Object:  StoredProcedure [dbo].[ARD_Insert]    Script Date: 02/25/2014 15:23:22 ******/
    SET ANSI_NULLS ON
    GO
    SET QUOTED_IDENTIFIER ON
    GO

    @Description nvarchar(50),

        INSERT INTO ARD(INVOICE,ITEM,[DESC],QTY,PRICE,TEMPWOID)
        VALUES(@InvoiceARD, @Item, @Description, @Qty, @Price, @TempWOID)
        DECLARE @Type nvarchar(3)
        SET @Type = (SELECT TYPE FROM INV WHERE ITEM = @Item)
        IF(@InventoryQuantityAddSubtract = 0) --Add
        BEGIN
        EXEC InventoryQuantityAdd_Update @Type,@Qty,@Item

        BEGIN
        EXEC InventoryQuantitySubtract_Update @Type,@Qty,@Item

    Hi all,
    I'm having an issue where my Table-Valued Function is not returning any results.
    When I break it out into a select statement (creating a table, and replacing the passed in parameters with the actual values) it works fine, but with passing in the same exact values (copy and pasted them) it just retuns an empty table.
    The odd thing is I could have SWORN this worked on Friday, but not 100% sure.
    The attached code is my function.
    Here is how I'm calling it:
    SELECT * from dbo.fGetVendorInfo('AUDIO DIGEST', '123 SESAME ST', 'TOP OF OAK MOUNTAIN')
    I tried removing the "+ '%'" and passing it in, but it doesn't work.
    Like I said if I break it out and run it as T-SQL, it works just fine.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Why did you use a proprietary user function instead of a VIEW?  I know the answer is that your mindset does not use sets. You want procedural code. In fact, I see you use an “f-” prefix to mimic the old FORTRAN II convention for in-line functions!
    Did you know that the old Sybase UPDATE.. FROM.. syntax does not work? It gives the wrong answers! Google it.
    Your data element names make no sense. What is “KSD.ks188”?? Well, it is a “payment_<something>”, “KSD.ks183” is “vendor_group” and “KSD.ks178” is “vendor_nbr” in your magical world where names mean different things from table to table!
    An SQL programmer might have a VIEW with the information, something like:
    CREATE VIEW Vendor_Addresses
    AS
    SELECT vendor_group, vendor_nbr, vendor_addr, remit_addr, pmnt_addr
      FROM ..
     WHERE ..;

    Thanks,
    Ujjwal

    Hi Ujjwal
    The reason behind this is that you are using AT NEW.... ENDAT block in your coding.
    When you use AT NEW field statements, the fields in the work area after the field get converted into ********.
    Check values in your work area I_RECORD in debugging inside AT NEW statement and you will understand what I am saying.
    In your case all the fields from header line of I_RECORDS which come after field CLASS are getting converted into *******,
    hence the error.
    Try using a temporary work area, say w_record. Pass value of I_record to w_record before AT NEW statement.
    And use w_record-fields instead of I_record-fields. And your program should work.
