QT export skips paragraph build

Question

I've just run into this problem:
I'm exporting KN (4.02) to a QT movie, with manual advance. (My jealous PC friends want to use my slides.) No audio, just slides. Most things work fine, except a few slides where a simple bullet build gets skipped. What I want is: click/build, click/build, click/build. What I get is click/build, click/nothing, click/buildbuild. The second build is skipped, but comes in at the same time as the third build. On two slides, the final build is skipped, so when I click again to get it, it appears for a fraction of a second, then the slide transition occurs.
I suspect this is a bug in the export, but does anyone know how to fix this in QT, post-export? I have the Pro version. Thanks.

I don't know if this address your issue, I read it in +Apple Training Series: iWork '06 with iLife '06+ (by Richard Harrington and RHED Pixel):
"Leaving the delay in will add a large amount of black after the movie. While you need this timing for kiosk mode, it interferes when exporting a QuickTime movie."
What the autor recommends is to remove the delay from the transition on the slide that contains the movie.
