QT pro and Homepage/idisc

This QT pro is getting to me too! After JUST getting over the $29.99 thing, I find, finding my way and ease of use degraded. Darn you have to be a rocket scientist to ge things done now! What happened to Apple for dummies? Mac "easiest to use"? Anyway, When expoting or sharing my .mov's to idisc or Homepage they stop 4/5th the way through and halt, yet running for ever! The first two times I published them with (share) they completed but only gave 3/4 or so of the movie when visiting the page. So I took the (export) route and the same thing happened. Now funny but I (idisced) them again and let them run forever and they did finally make it. but I know I will have trouble with this again! Anyone else with this problem ? or any answers Thanks Tom

Movie files are huge. When you use the "Share" feature your file may need to be converted (another export) and then uploaded to your iDisk Movies folder.
Better is to choose Export and use the "presets" or advanced settings (found under the Options button). Save this new file to your Desktop.
Mount you remote iDisk and open the "Movies" folder. Drag your new file into it and wait for the file to upload. Once the dialog window closes you'll know you file has successfully made it to your iDisk.
You can "test" the file by opening it in a browser window. The address to the file uses this syntax:
http://homepage.mac.com/username/.Movies/movie.mov
Notice the period and capital M in Movies. Replace username with your .Mac account name.
