Hi,
I have a requirement like this,I have taken LinkToAction UI element on one view and some UI elements on another view.If I click on LinkToAction the other
view has to be displayed on the same page.

Basic query abt business logic

i need to have a website which will search from a database and display results is it advisable to have my business logic (i.e database query)in servlet only since it is a small aplication or i should have a different file for business logic?
I am very new to this technologies no do not have much knowledge.
i am thinking to use jsp for display since it automatically handles sessions.

request.setAttribute("someName", SearchResults);and then forward the request to the JSP using a RequestDispatcher:

view.forward(request, response);Then your jsp can retrieve the data:

Query abt Reports

Hi,
I am working on two reports in one client wants to see all those orders and order items against which delivery status is ""A or B". Can anyone please tell me how to do that?
Second is they want to see sales order for one customer by various order types..like sales order, return order, credit order and debit order. Can anyone please help me how to do this scenarios and deliver the results.

For your 1st requirement, you can filter the Order Item and restrict it by A and B and
For your 2nd requirement, create a variable on the characteristic Order Type (Sales Order Type) and drag this characteristic in the Free characteristic or Filter. When you execute the query it will ask you give order type, you can create this variable as a selection option, multiple or intervals.
Infact you can use this method for your 1st option as well, you can create a variable for delivery status where you can give values like 'A' or 'B'.
I hope this will resolve your issue.

Query abt setAttribute('width','500');

Hello Every body,
I am using javascript to set the size of button.
when I use
setAttribute('width',500);
It works for ie but not for mozilla
for mozilla
setAttribute("width","191px"); works
I do not want to check navigator.appName to check browser type and then use
setAttribute('width',500); or setAttribute("width","191px");

I wanted to go for NX6800GT-TD256 (or NX6800 Ultra-T2D256) but the problem is that my mobo ( which is Gigabyte 7VKMP)
supports AGP 4x only and I don't want to upgrade my mobo currently, so I wanted to ask will this MSI card work on my mobo ( as I know its AGP 8x)

I posted this query in another public forum, and somebody told me that he also tried to use 8x card(didn't specified name) in 4x slot but it didn't worked. He told me to refer to motherboard manual and the card docs which I m going for... told me to check for some voltage issues .

Hi All,
I have designed 3 fla's like login, main menu,help.
All swf's embed in aspx page. All under 1 solution.
I'm having enable full screen option in loginpage. If I
select this,
All 2 swf's also in full screen mode, Unless I uncheck the
full screen option.
I wrote the full screen function in login page only, How to
pass to another fla's?
I used SendAndLoad
i.e Lobby_lv.load("url"+"?"+fullscreen, "_self", "POST");
In PathURL I have mentioned the Lobby page. If the fullscreen
option is true means, lobby.fla gets the value and enable the full
screen function. But I'm not getting the value in the lobby.fla
How to solve this?

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do. The LoadVars
class, is not for
loading swf files, it is for sending and loading data to/from
a server-side
script. If you want to load a movie, then the MovieClipLoader
class is your
best bet - in AS2 anyway.

i created a directory as

i got message as directory created.
does my image directory contains all the data as in 'd:\photos\ '??
if yes how to know tht my image directory has all the data from 'd:\photos\'
if no then how to insert the data from 'd:\photos\' to my image directory ??

CREATE DIRECTORY just create a logical link in your database between the given name and the physical directory. This order will not create the physical directory nor put anything into it. You have to copy the file in that physical diorectory via your system.
Once the Oracle Directory is created , you have to grant rights like READ/WRITE to it.
At this moment, you would be able to use this Oracle Directory with the UTL_FILE or DBMS_LOB package's functions to read/write the content of this directory.
Take the time to read the documentation, rather than doing only one part of the job, then counting on the Forum to get the rest of the process, then keep also in minf that this has nothing in relation with the Oracle Forms product.

Hi Nagarjuna,
You can call as many transactions as you want in your program. But your BDC internal table should be refreshed and re-populated with the appropriate transaction information. If you don't do that then only the first transaction will execute and all other calls will complain about screen not found. So your sequence should be
Fill BDC itab with transaction data for transaction XYZ.
Call transaction XYZ.
Refresh BDC itab.
Fill BDC itab with transaction data for transaction ABC.
Call transaction ABC.
continue as many times as needed.
If the transactions are interdependent, then you need to look into locking errors, update delays and buffered data vs database data.

Is there any possiblity to connect dll directly to flash
using flashRemoting.. will it support vb.net ?

I have attached the actionscript for the data connection. The
odd thing about this issue is some of the data is being displayed
from the webservice call and then some is not. The drop down list
is not being populated but I am getting some text in a textarea
that is on the form. My datasource is a SQL Server database and in
ColdFusion administrator, I used the actual machine name to point
to the datasource because it is directly linked to my web server.
This configuration is the one giving me problems. If I change the
datasource to my test SQL Server (server.somewhere.com) it works
fine. Does this help any?

You may wish to refer the link below, Xcelsius SP2 is now with the SAP BI connector. You can get this feature in Engage, Engage server and Enterprise version as well...so anything version is fine.

1. set the bin directory of ant in the class path
2. open the command prompt and navigate to the directory of the sample (make sure the dir contains the file 'build.xml')
3. in the command prompt type 'ant' (without quotes)

from tht pc??Yes of course there is: the BufferedReader tries to construct 16-bit Unicode characters out of your 8-bit data which is possibly binary or at least non-UTF-encoded. If you write with an OutputStream you should read with an InputStream and vice versa.

Does this phone have the feature of "Say Caller's name"?
This can be checked in the following folder:
Control Panel--> Profiles--> General--> Personalise--> Say Caller's name.
If this phone supports this feature, then there should be an option of "Say Caller's name" in the Personalise option of General.
Feedback on the matter will be deeply appreciated.

there is many posts here regarding this model with alot of issue
i was one of them that had issues myself and gave up
but as i explained to those on another thread phones are made in batches,this is so an issue can be identified and solved ,people then get the perception that its a bad phone reading all them problems
i then bought another one 3 months later and it works fine not a problem at all apart from the odd freeze or shutdown which happens to most phones anyway and its not a big problem once its not on a continuous basis,i think its a great feature packed phone apart from that and very well priced.
there was some reports of some bad builds in this too but nothing widespread,if you do decide to purchase keep your receipt and if anything goes wrong send it to a nokia care center.
