Query assistance - Based on CurrentDate

Hi,
I need to create a query for a daily alert. I need the result to list customer records that have the UDF value (number) match the today's date.
Ex. if today is May 4, it would list all customers with invoice date of 4 (UDF value). Below is what I had started but stumped on what the correct syntax is for CurrentDate (that doesn't seem to work).
Thank you,
Heather
Started query:
SELECT T0.CardCode, T0.CardName as 'Customer Name', T0.U_InvDt, T0.U_SignAct
FROM OCRD T0
WHERE  T0.U_InvDt = ....??

Hi,
Is this UDF value number 4 or May 4? Suppose it is the later, you can try:
SELECT T0.CardCode, T0.CardName as 'Customer Name', T0.U_InvDt, T0.U_SignAct
FROM OCRD T0
WHERE DateDiff(DD,T0.U_InvDt,GetDate())=0
Thanks,
Gordon

    For eg: I got one report output in excel sheet with SAP logo,this report gives the details of All the queries with long runtime.
    The columns in the report are Query,Navigations,Mean Rumtime and Number of users. I want to create similar one can anybody explain me how to?(I am working on BI7.0)

    Pia,
    No need to create a new report. Activate BI statistics and these reports are available. check below links...

    if you want your task searchable, you should use flex-attributes. you should find it in /task:task/task:systemManagedAttributes
    during search you can use query like this column=textAttribute1

  • Query output based on date - Oracle 8i

    I am trying to write a very simple query to output data based
    on date ranges, but I keep encountering an error.
    When I do this statement:
    select * from my.table
    where startdate > '2008-01-01'
    I get this error:
    [ODBC][Ora]ORA-01861: literal does not match format string
    When I format the select statement this way:
    select * from my.table
    where startdate > #2008-01-01#
    i get this error:
    [ODBC][Ora]ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected DATE
    got NUMBER
    Currently using CF8, and what I believe is Oracle 8i. I have
    tried formatting this data in many other ways, but can't get it to
    work. I know that when I query the database via access, it has no
    problem returning results with the SQL date formatted like
    #01/01/2008#

    You can use the Oracle to_date() function to convert your
    string to a date/time object:
    select * from my.table
    where startdate > to_date('2008-01-01', 'YYYY-MM-DD')
    Or, since you are using an ODBC connection to Oracle, you can
    try using the ColdFusion CreateODBCDate() function:
    select * from my.table
    where startdate > #CreateODBCDate("2008-01-01")#
    Or, as already suggested, use cfqueryparam with the
    appropriate CFSQLType, such as
    CF_SQL_TIMESTAMP instead of CF_SQL_INTEGER like you are
    attempting to do.
    You can't use a "string" date value against a date/time
    column in an Oracle query, as it won't perform an implicit type
    conversion.

    Hi,
    If you want to copy list item with Person column to another list, here are two solutions for your reference:
    1.Use SharePoint Designer workflow to create item in another list when there is item added in the current list, there is a workflow action “Create List Item”
    will meet your requirement. The string in Person column will still be a hyperlink in the other list and you can apply filter on it.
    Workflow actions quick reference

    2.Use JavaScript Client Object Model to copy item to other list, you can put the script into a Content Editor Web Part.

  • Query - Content Based Routing - File to File

    Hi,
      I'm trying to create a scenario which sends a file (multiple records) to multiple receivers based on the Header(System) of the record.
    File format:
    <System,Name,Age,Qualification>
    If the System value is "Sys1" then it should be written into the file A, else into the file B.
    Please let me know the different ways of doing it.
    Is BPM mandatory for this scenario?
    Thanks,
    Rakesh.

    Hi Rakesh,
    This scenario you are trying can be done using CONDITIONAL RECEIVER DETERMINATION and RB SPLIT
    To do this without using a BPM.
    1. Create your mapping program that will map the information from the source file
    into the destination idoc. This has to be a 1:N split. Just make sure that the destination message type and message interface are are of occurrence N.
    2. Also, you will have 2 destination interfaces and 2 interface mapping, one for the IDOC and one for the mail.
    Now, there are a few essential steps in your configuration,
    1. In the receiver determination, specify the 2 receiver systems, one for your IDOC and the other for your MAIL.
    2. Now, you will have a condition window. Just type the condition on the basis of which the receiver has to be determined for the mail and the idoc business system. Just remember that the condition can be specified only for the source message.
    2. In the Interface Determination, you have an option called RB CLASSIC and RB SPLIT. To do a 1:N split, you will have to do a RB_SPLIT.
    Thus, your solution can be devised without a BPM wich I guess is preferred because of performance issues.
    You can also go through the following to understand the step by step procedure to have 2 receivers:
    <a href="/people/suraj.sr/blog/2006/01/05/multiple-inbound-interfaces-within-a-service Inbound Interfaces within a Service</a>
    <a href="/people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2005/08/03/xpath-to-show-the-path-multiple-receivers receiver Scenario</a>
    I hope I have answered your query.

  • Plan query output based on Characteristic Relation.

  • Query forms based on detail block

    My question is pretty simple: Is it possible to query a form (Forms [32 Bit] Version 6.0.8.11.3) based on a detail block? Let me explain my problem! I have a table called REQUISITION and of its field is STATUS_CODE. Then I have another table called STATUS that have the following fields: CODE, NAME, DESCRIPTION, PHASE, etc. The join condition between REQUISTION and STATUS is REQUISITION.STATUS_CODE = STATUS.CODE. On my form, all of the fields come from table REQUISITION but the problem is that we have over 30 different status and my user can't remember their names and phase. So I inserted two display fields on the forms and wrote a post-query trigger to populate the field with their corresponding names and phases. But now my end user are complaining that the fields don't allow queries to be performed which prevents them to use a query to know all requisitions that are on phase "Procurement" which corresponds to four different status_code. So I though in inserting the fields PHASE and DESCRIPTION into table REQUISITION and write a trigger that would populate those field every time the STATUS change but that would cause a problem when lets say STATUS 01 is part of PHASE "Procurement" then comes next week the company decides that is not longer part of phase "Procurement" but now it is part of PHASE "Purchasing" they would go the form based on table STATUS and change the field PHASE of the corresponding STATUS that they want. But now I have this data on another table holding information that is no longer valid. Sure I could write another trigger to change field REQUISITION.STATUS_PHASE whenever there is a change on STATUS.PHASE but wouldn't that be too much bookkeeping? Would be so much easier if I could query my forms based on the detail block (this case table STATUS and master block table REQUISITION)?
    thanks so much in advance for any thought! Btw, I am open to other suggestions too!!!!!
    gleisson henrique

    if I understood you correctly, you can do this manually. what I mean is,
    when the end user picks phase "Purchasing", you can change the where clause on the master block and execute the query to get the desired results
    e.g.
    v_cod varchar2(200) := 'STATUS_CODE in (select code from status where phase = ''Purchasing'')';
    begin
    set_block_property(requisition_blk,default_where,v_cod);
    execute_query;ofcourse you have to change "Purchasing" in the previous code to the item that holds the user inputs
    hope this is helpful

  • Querying Block Based on Procedure

    I built the form based off the following thread:
    Form based on stored procedure
    However, the block created by the procedure does not appear to be queryable with any given criteria. Query Enter, enter criteria, Query Execute didn't work it still returns the all the data. I also tried putting in a default where clause, but that didn't work. Is there a way to query the result set returned?
    Thanks,
    Roschera

    Okay, now I've tried adding data source arguments to pass in a parameter to the cursor being used to generate the data. I've set the default value to null and double checked to make sure the same data types are being used, however, I'm still receiving an ORA-6502 error. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Query Result based on the Parameter Form

    Good Morning folks. I really couldn't come up with a smart enough Subject Line but I will try and make it up in the body.
    I currently have a report that accepts Parameters on the Parameter Form. They are Employee ID# and Number of Copies. The Employee ID is stored in the Employee table but the number of copies is not.
    The output on the Report shows all the different addresses and Phone Numbers the Employee has. Lets say, Employee ID 0001 has two addresses -- Home and Office. In the Report output based on my Query, it is going to return me two records in the Repeating Group. I however, have another parameter along with the Employee ID which is the Number of Copies. In this case, if the Number of Copies to be printed is 1, then its not an issue. However, if the Number of Copies entered by the User is 4, I would expect in that case 4 x 2 = 8 pages of Report output (4 with the Home Address and 4 with the Office Address).
    I know there is way to do this using a Temporary table in AfterPForm and then using the results in the Query by joining my query to the Temporary table but I was really hoping to avoid this situation if it can be handled through the Query.
    Main Query:
    SELECT    e.emp_no,
              e.saln||e.first_name||' '||e.last_name emp_name,
              a.street,
              a.city||' '||a.province||' '||a.postal_code city,
              '('||a.tel_area||') '||a.tel_number telephone
    FROM      employee e, emp_address a
    WHERE     e.emp_no = a.emp_no
    AND       e.emp_no = :P_EMP_NO;Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    I think I have not explained my requirements clearly and I have missed some valuable information. I will go ahead and start again.
    We do have quite a few reports with similar scenarios, so avoiding Temporary tables would be very beneficial if this works using Queries.
    I have a Report that has a Parameter Form. This Parameter form has 6 fields in total.
    Three of them belong to Customer ID# and 3 belong to Number of Copies.
    User Parameters for Customers: P_CUST_ID1, P_CUST_ID2, P_CUST_ID3
    User Parameters for the Number of Copies: P_N1, P_N2, P_N3
    So, the field PF_CUST_ID1 would have a source with P_CUST_ID1 and the field PF_N3 would have a source P_N3
    Form Paramater:
      PF_CUST_ID1   ----------         PF_N1   ---
    PF_CUST_ID2   ----------         PF_N2   ---
    PF_CUST_ID3   ----------         PF_N3   ---So, at any given point, there could be a maximum of 3 Customer ID's passed to the main query. Here is an example of what the input parameters could look like.
    User chose to enter values for Customer ID's 1 and 2 and left it blank for Customer 3.
      Customer ID1   1001         Number of Copies   2
    Customer ID2   1002         Number of Copies   3
    Customer ID3   ----         Number of Copies   -The Query that retrieves data looks something like this. The query below is intended to fetch Customer Home and Office Addresses.
    Of course, it is possible that there might be No home or Office Address or both.
    SELECT    c.cust_no,
              c.saln||c.first_name||' '||c.last_name cust_name,
              a.address_type,
              a.street,
              a.city||' '||a.province||' '||a.postal_code city,
              '('||a.tel_area||') '||a.tel_number telephone
    FROM      customer c, customer_address a
    WHERE     c.cust_no = a.cust_no
    AND       c.cust_no IN (:P_CUST_ID1, :P_CUST_ID2, :P_CUST_ID3);Based on my query:
    Customer ID 1001 has 3 Addresses (2 Home and 1 Office) --> Total number of Records = 3
    Customer ID 1002 has 2 Addresses (1 Home and 1 Office) --> Total number of Records = 2
    The output should be something like this. I have put a Label Copy1, Copy2 and Copy3 to show
    how the data will appear for readability.
    Cust No Customer Name      Address Type    Address Line 1         Address Line 2        Telephone
    Copy1

  • FLASHBACK QUERY - Range based - Doubt - Help needed -URGENT

    Hi,
    I want to user the flashback query facility to capture the history of versions for a day (i.e) i want to get the data versions from morning 10 a.m to 6.pm.
    How to get the versions by using the time range for a day.
    I used the query as
    select a.eno,
              b.eno,
              a.ename,
              b.ename
    from emp a, emp as of timestamp
    to_timestamp('08-NOV-2006 06:32:21.999999 AM','DD-MON-RRRR HH:MI:SS.ff6 AM') b
    where a.eno=b.eno
    The above query will fetch only one versions for the specified timestamp.
    How could i implement the range based search through flashback query.
    Please suggest any methods to implement the same.
    Thanks in advance.

    You'll want to read the documentation about Oracle Flashback Version Query.<br><br>

  • Sub Query selection based on parameter value selected

    I have a parameter, and based on the value selected, I want to run one of two queries. I thought I could do either an IF THEN ELSE, or a CASE, but neither seem to be working.
    What I'm trying to do is this:
    IF parameter_value = 338 THEN
    (RUN THIS SELECT QUERY)
    ELSE
    (RUN THIS SELECT QUERY)
    END IF
    or
    SELECT CASE WHEN parameter_value = 338 THEN (RUN THIS SELECT QUERY)
    ELSE (RUN THIS SELECT QUERY)
    END X
    I'm getting errors with both. For the CASE statement, it says "too many values". For the IF statement, it just says "invalid SQL statement".
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • BI Bex Query prompt based on User's Authorization....

    Hi
    In BI, I created 1 BEx Query based on Authorization. If a user runs the query, it prompts for 'Customer Name' to get data of particular customer. And Customer values are populated in the prompt based on User's Authorization.
    For example:
    User1 is authorized to see data of Customer1 & Customer2. So, Query prompt will show 2 values: 'Customer1' & 'Customer2'.
    But User2 is authorized to see data of Customer1, so Query prompt will show 'Customer1' only.
    I created 2 variables on Customer field:
    1) Authorization Variable in Filter Section
    2) Manual, Single Entry, Mandatory on Default Value section.
    My Requirement:
    If user is authorized to link with only 1 Customer, he should not get prompt & on the background prompt value should be populated from his authorization value. But if user is authorized to see multi-customers, then prompt should appear.
    If possible pls. provide some suggestions....
    Thanks...

    Yes, this can be done.
    but there is little work around.. Using guided navigations
    1. Create a report with column fx as case when 1=0 then markets.region else user() end
    2. apply filter on this column is equal to User_1
    3. Create another report with column fx as case when 1=0 then markets.region else user() end
    4. apply filter on this column is equal to User_2
    5. Now add all your prompts to dashboard, but each prompt should in each section object of dashboard.
    6. For first section click on section properties, go to Guided Navigation...
    7. Browse Source Request as first report.. and keep If request returns rows selected.
    8. Repeat above step for another section.. but this time browse 2nd report.
    9. Just save dashboard.
    Check now..
    Hope you understood..

  • Querying Leads based on checkbox value

    Hi I want to retrieve all the Leads based on my cpo_modified checkbox field.
    I'm using this to do it:
    objListOfLead = LeadHelper.createListOfLead(strLeadDim);
    objListOfLead[0].cpo_modified = "Y";
    //Campos de la entidad Lead a devolver
    objListOfLead[0].Country = "";
    objListOfLead[0].cpo_atInstallments = "";
    objListOfLead[0].cpo_atProfit = "";
    objListOfLead[0].cpo_atProfit_percent = "";
    (and some more, all empty too)
    objQryOutput = queryLeads(objListOfLead, mySession, false);
    But I've been unable to get what I want. I'm getting allways the same error:
    El campo 'ZBool_10' de la instancia del componente de integraci??n 'Lead' contiene una expresi??n de consulta no v??lida: 'Y'(SBL-EAI-13002)
    Any of you knows how to filter a query based on a checkbox value? Should I use "Y"or "1" or "true" perhaps???....I've tried many times with different expressions but all of them has been unsuccesfull to me...some ideas?
    Thank you very much!
    Noël

    Great Michael! The expression you suggested ='Y'" worked perfectly!
    Thank you VERY MUCH!
    But, why those kind of ¿tricks? are not well documented by Oracle? I've lost a great amount of time (been the first time I work over OnDemand) and that's a thing I really hate...
    My most sincerely thanks Michael!
