Query for next record in a multiple records display
Hi. I have a text item whose data block displays 10 records after post query. I want to put a query on the keyboard up and down button so that when i press the up or down arrow of the keyboard, the cursor moves to the next record and executes the post query trigger. I tried using the next_record command but the cursor remains on the first record and then tries to create a new record there instead of moving to the next record outputted by the initial post query trigger. I hope you get my point. Thanks

I hope you get my point. You do not have to query again for moving cursor up and down. You have to use KEY-UP and KEY-DOWN with NEXT_RECORD and PREVIOUS_RECORD built-ins. Use FIRST_RECORD and LAST_RECORD for boundary conditions.

How can I convert string to the record store with multiple records in it?

How can I convert the string to the record store, with multiple records? I mean I have a string like as below:
"SecA: [Y,Y,Y,N][good,good,bad,bad] SecB: [Y,Y,N][good,good,cant say] SecC: [Y,N][true,false]"
now I want to create a record store with three records in it for each i.e. SecA, SecB, SecC. So that I can retrieve them easily using enumerateRecord.
Please guide me and give me some links or suggestions to achieve the above thing.

I'd not use multiple records for this case. Managing more records needs more and redundant effort.
Just use single record. Create ByteArrayOutputStream->DataOutputStream and put multiple strings via writeUTF() (plus any other data like number of records at the beginning...), then save the byte array to the record...
It's easier, it's faster (runtime), it's better manageable...

SAP Query using internal table because of multiple records in KONV
Hi
Im using abap code to write to an internal table, how do you get the internal table fields to show in query report.
Reason I have added abap code is I have a query for purchase order tables EKKO and EKPO. I would like to show any conditions attached to these purchase orders using EKKO-KNUMV = to KONV-KNUMV.
Prolem is KONV can have multiple records. So added code to write records from KONV to a internal table. Problem is how do I get the internal table files to show in query report. Have added fields as additional fields and included them in the field group.
In info sturcture I have defined internal table in code 'DATA' included the select in 'Record procesing'
Any help will be appreciated. ThanksYes, and the problem is that sometimes that item has two of the same conditions. One that SAP enters automatically and one that the end user enters. I want to understand how this is happening so that I can fix it.

I am trying to get flat files as many time the <b>header</b> values occur that many target files should appear in the target.

and also it is important to get the line items,if exists to the header, for the corresponding headers.
how can I achieve this?do I need to use BPM or any mappings other than Graphical?

While creating Interface determination choose it as Enhanced/Extended
The Receiver Content conversion - For field separator and line separator give 'nl' , coz we concatenated all of them using ~ in mapping.

Problem for Struts action to insert multiple records
I am writting a code for Struts action which inserting a single record to table A and multiple records to table B .The architecture that I applied is Struts+Spring+iBatis.The multiple records are come from a 10-rows table in the design.The name of each column element is same.The field name other than these are just single-row field.

Hello, just wondering if anyone would be so kind as to help me out. I have a small problem that when a user is adding records to my form I want them to add one, then if they go on to add another at the same time (before commiting the first one) that they will be shown a prompt Which states something along the lines of "Before you add another record you must first save the first record, do you wish to do so" , yes will then commit the first record and allow the user to enter the second record, whilst cancel will not allow a second record to be entered.

2LIS_02_HDR - Multiple records coming for same EBELN, why?

I ran a setup table for init and tested extraction in rsa3 for data source 2LIS_02_HDR , only one EBELN and it retrievs 3 records for same EBELN. As per my understanding the header data comes from EKKO hence it should bring only one record but retireves multiple records,I want to know why this happens?

Mapping Multiple records from Db Adapter to the project data objects
If the database adapter do a query to the database and return multiple records, how can I map those records to the data object? And If I want to iterate the records and each record to invoke a sub-process, what can I do?

Multiple records in Indesign Data merge
When I select the option for multiple records in InDesign Date Merge, I still only get one record on a page in preview. When I ask it to create a merged document, each item from the excell file is put on a separate page. Why is this happening, I want 4 items on a page.

Multiple record insert thru PROCEDURE - Urgent
All,
My requirement is, I have to invoke a procedure which accepts two input and 1 out variable. The operation of the procedure is to insert the data to two tables(head_tab and line_tab-accepts multiple record). I used %rowtype for the two inputs i.e procedure proc(head_var head_tab%rowtype, line_var line_tab%rowtype, out_var out number). The incoming doc comes from 3rd party application which sends a header record and multiple line record for the same header.
I used the transformation activity, to insert line record I used for-each loop for multiple record. But %rowtype being a scalar data type, it doesn't accept array of record to it! I'm stuck here. Can we achieve this scenario with using of procedure? or should I configure DBAdapter to insert the data directly to the table rather the procedure does this? If we can achieve it thru procedure, how can I go about?

I tried below code for my proc to send multiple records without use of for loop.

basically i am an BI consultant with less knowledge on ABAP, can i request your help on the ABAP task.
I am working on HR module which is integrated with SAP BI, the reports will be executed based on calendar month the requirement is i should split the single record into a multiple records based on validity of the record. basically the HR data would be in data from and date to.
below is the logic
Check whether the start and end date of the record are in the same month and year.
If yes nothing changes
If no create multiple records
1st record original start date of the record u2018till end of that month
Following record 1st of the next month u2018till last day of the month
u2026
Last record 1st of the month u2018till original end date.
All fields will have the same values, only the datefrom and dateto fields change.
Can any one please provide me the same code to proceed on my task.

There is no posibility to disable the selection secren if there are any variables defined on a query. it can be done on the web applications side by inserting the command VARIABLESCREEN=" ". in this also it is only possible if there are no mandatory variables defined on the query.

Time Machin does not backup automatically
