Query for total size of the spatial data

Hi,
I found some posts to determine the size of the spatial table but is there a query I can use to determine the exact size of my spatial column. I have about 2 mil. geometry points and I would like to know exactly how many bytes it is.
Thanks in advance.
Aarthi

Hi,
I have an old analysis I did several years ago. I couldn't get size for the SDO_GEOMETRY column per se, but I could calculate the approximate size required (not including extra space required for block boundaries, etc.). Note this info is quite old, so your milage may vary...
This is the summary:
SDO_GTYPE 3 bytes plus 1 byte for every two numeric places  (four digit gtype=5 bytes)
SDO_SRID 1 byte if NULL; or 3 bytes plus 1 byte for every two numeric places
SDO_POINT 1 byte if NULL; or for each of the three numeric values, 1 byte if
NULL, or 3 bytes plus 1 byte for every two numeric places
SDO_ELEM_INFO 1 byte if NULL; or for each numeric value, 3 bytes plus
1 byte for every two numeric places, plus 40 bytes overhead for the VARRAY.
SDO_ORDINATES 1 byte if NULL; or for each numeric value, 3 bytes plus
1 byte for every two numeric places, plus 40 bytes overhead for the VARRAY.

  • How to find the total size of the database before the Restore.

    Hi Guys,
I'll do a Restore, but I do not know the environment and need to know what the total size of the database to create a storage area.
Is there any way to find out the total size of the database(including all datafiles and temp) using only the RMAN catalog before running the Restore.
I'm using Tivoli TSM with ASM.

    Hi tychos,
    break on report
compute sum of TOTAL_DB on Report
    select 'DataFiles' NAME, SUM(ROUND(bytes/1024/1024/1024)) TOTAL_DB from rc_datafile
    where db_name = 'ORCL'
    UNION ALL
    select 'TempFiles' NAME, SUM(ROUND(bytes/1024/1024/1024)) TOTAL_DB from rc_tempfile
    where db_name = 'ORCL'This query returned I had 372 Gbytes of data.
At the end of the Restore Database got the size of 408 Gbytes.
The total size of all Redo was 3Gbytes that was not being counted anyway there was a difference of 33Gbytes.
I need to understand the reason for the difference in sizes.
It makes no sense to me RMAN catalog does not inform the total size of the database (Datafiles, tempfiles, Redo and controlfile) before the Restore since it's information is already somewhere.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Re: Statistics Query for Total runtimes for Process Chain incorrect

    Hi Guys,
I am building a Query for Total runtimes for Process Chain Statistics. I used the Cube 0TCT_MC21 for Query - 0TCT_MC21_Q0101.
I dragged in Keyfigure section - startdate, end date, Start time are all correct and fine but the End time (0TCTENDTIM) is coming incorrect. Is something else i should use to get the End time?
Please let me know if any suggestions?
    Regards

Just check if the end times are in GMT ?? usually happens with timestamps....

  • How to find the size of the master data objects in the BW system?

    Hi,
We would like to understand the size of the master data tables overall for a specific source system (Logical name is Ex.ABCD, which supplies all master data to BW). Can you please advise the procedure to find out this?
Is there any table that will allows to see all the master data objects related to specific sources system so that we can find out that table size? Thanks.
For example, we have many Texts, Hier & Attributes.
    0COUNTRY_TEXT
    0REGION_TEXT
    0PERSON_ATTR
    0MATERIAL_LPRH_HIER
    Advance Thanks.

    Hi,
You can find out all the master data tales used in the BW system by
    Tcode : SE11
Enter as /BIC/P* for master data tables and press F4 which gives list of master data tables currently used in BW system.
Similarly for Texts  /BIC/T*  and press F4
Similarly for Hierarchies /BIC/H-* press F4
and can know the size of the all tables.
    Thanks,
    Gopal

  • DeserializeJSON - is there a limit on the size of the JSON data that can be converted?

I have some valid JSON data that's being converted successfully by DeserializeJSON... until it gets to a certain size, or that's certainly what appears to be happening.  The breaking point seems to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 35,000 characters... about 35KB.  When the conversion fails, it fails with a "JSON parsing failure: Unexpected end of JSON string" message.  And when the conversion fails, the JSON data is deemed to be valid per tools like this one:  http://www.freeformatter.com/json-validator.html.
So, is there a limit on the size of the JSON data that can be converted by DeserializeJSON?
    Thanks!

    Thanks Carl.
The JSON is being submitted in its entirety, confirmed by Fiddler.  And it's actually being successfully saved to a SQL Server nvarchar(MAX) field too.  I can validate that saved JSON.
I'm actually grabbing the JSON to convert directly from the SQL Server, and your comments / thoughts led me down the path of resolution.
Turns out that the JSON was being truncated prior to getting to the DeserializeJSON command, but it was the cfquery pull that was doing the truncating.  The fix was to enable "long text retrieval (CLOB)" for this datasource in CF Admin.  I'd never run into that before or even knew that this setting existed.
    Thanks again for your comments!

  • BAPI Error: No schedule lines due for delivery up to the selected date

    Hi,
I have created a program to create delivery orders with reference to sales orders using BAPI - BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS.
After execution I get the error: No schedule lines due for delivery up to the selected date
    Please help.
    Thanks in advance!!!
    Regards,
    Sriram

    hi,
this is to inform you that,
please check the schedule line date in the sales order because the date is not matching here for the BAPI to upload.
here,  for example the schedule line is 4 days after and you are running BAPI today. that will mismatch no.
the same thing is happening in uploading case also.
    so please check the date.
because in teh sales order if teh schedule line date is today it will accept the uploading with out throwing any errors.

  • No schedule lines due for delivery up to the selected date

    Dear Experts,
My order has no block. i tried with 3 months in selection date in VL01N.
My schedule line in order has 0 confirmed quantity,
Kindly confirm if error in VL01n No schedule lines due for delivery up to the selected date because of 0 confirmed qty
    Thanks
    Siva

    Hi,
I think you should use the " Back order process". Using backorder processing, you can list sales documents relevant for requirements for particular materials and confirm them manually. You can assign available-to-promise (ATP) stock to
Outstanding order quantities. In addition, you can withdraw already confirmed quantities and reassign them to different items. The stock may be reserved for other sales order. You can reassign the stocks to your sales order material.
To do this, go to Co06 (Back order processing) , enter the Material number, Plant and the checking rule.
Select any sales order and choose --> Edit --> Change confirmation. Make sure the confirmed quantity is "0".
Then select the unconfirmed sales order, then choose --> Edit --> Change confirmation. Now you can enter the "Delivery quantity manually ".
Now you can create the delivery document.
Hope this can help you .

  • In the Alarm & Event Query VI how to show the alarm data

In the Alarm & Event Query VI how to show the alarm data in the front pannel using the table or multicolumn listbox .thank you very much!!!

    Hi,
Most likely there is something wrong with your specific database or your LabVIEW DSC installation. I just used the Alarm & Event Query.vi in my machine and it seems to work fine, I can see all the alarms as well as events containned in the database.
You may considerer generate another database (change the logging directory) and see if the behavior goes away. Also, make sure you have alarms and events on that database.
I could run the Alarm & Query.vi by just openning its front panel and placing the correct database in the appropriated control.

  • Query for database size

I need a query which should display the current size of database and the size of the database one month back. I have tried with OEM but if the database goes down in between, it won't display the result.(OS-HP-Unix, Linux, Ver-8i,9i,10g)

    My friend,
I have a query to find out the size one month back (Note: It doesn't include temp and redo logs size)
    select sum(bytes)/1073741824 from v$datafile where
creation_time<to_date('01-03-2009','dd-mm-yyyy');That assumes that the only way you are adding space to the database is to add new data files which doesn't seem realistic. It's rather common to increase the size of the database by adding space to an existing data file or allowing a data file to autoextend at least to a point. Are you certain that, for the databases you're working with, the only way that anyone ever adds space to a database is to add new data files?
and for view the current size
    select sum(bytes)/1073741824 from v$datafile ;
I have tested and it worked hope I am right if this queries are wrong plz let me know, now what I am looking for is a query where I don't need to provide the specific date just something like add_months function to this query and I want the above two queries into one, something like this but its giving me the wrong result
    select sum(a.bytes)/1024/1024/1024, sum(b.bytes)/1024/1024/1024 from v$datafile a,v$datafile b where a.creation_time<to_date('01-03-2009','dd-mm-yyyy') and b.creation_time<=sysdate
/If you're sure that the "prior month" query is correct for your environment
    SELECT a.gb old_size, b.gb new_size

    Dear all,
An easy question for BW experts...
How can I see the total size of all PSA tables?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
    Best Regards

    Hello Mr. AIRBUS,
This is very simple ... go to st14. Choose BW . Go to BW Evaluation / Customizing.
you will see Total Size BW Objects
And  voila you get the size in last 1 month ...
If you want full size ...change the date range ...

  • Query for Total sales by customer

    Hi,
I want to create a query for getting a total of all sales for all Customers for the date range entered by the user.
    How can I do it?
    Jyoti

If I can add my thoughts.  The query from Jyoti fails for me due to the Where statement.  Try the following:
    SELECT T0.CardName, T0.Address, T1.CreditLine, T2.PymntGroup as 'Payment Terms', T1.Balance, T0.DocTotal
    FROM OINV T0 INNER JOIN OCRD T1 ON T0.CardCode = T1.CardCode INNER JOIN OCTG T2 ON T0.GroupNum = T2.GroupNum
    WHERE T0.DocDate BETWEEN '[%0]' AND '[%1]'
Having said that I use the built in Sales Analysis report to get the sales by customer by date.

Can anyone tell me what could be reason of all these errors and and the workaround for the same.
    Thanks....

    Mayura,
. . . .One workaround may be to use the "exclude" command-line option to exclude the offending table (currently, M5_13791$$).
EXCLUDE=TABLE:"= 'M5_13791$$')". . . .Another workaround may be to load the data without indexes first, then fuss with rebuilding indexes.
    EXCLUDE=INDEX:"LIKE '%'"Regards,

  • Several encrypted .dmg files show much more free space that the total size of the file.

I have several encrypted .dmg files on my macbook air running OS X 10.10.1  I have had them for years with no problems. Now suddenly, in the finder, at the bottom of the finder window where it shows the number of items and free space for a disk, it shows more free space than the full size of the .dmg file. Typically it will show about 200MB for a 100 MB file. Obviously, this is a bug, but I can find no information or discussions about it anywhere.
Does anyone have the same problem? Any ideas how to fix it?

Thanks for the ideas. Unfortunately, it didn't work.
I rebuilt the spotlight index as suggested.
I tried it twice, rebooting the computer a couple of time along the way.
Below you can see the actual file as it occurs in the finder in its unopened form.
Now, below here is what the finder reports at the bottom of the finder window when the file is opened and added as a virtual disk.
Note that the total file size is 102.5 Mb
Yet the finder says it has 234.5 Mb free!
The actual size of the files on the disk add up to about 60 Mb
This occurs with several similar dmg files.
Any other ideas or experiences would be appreciated.

  • Query for Totals on a Sales Order

Does someone have a query for sales order that sums the total # of orders for each user and sums total quantity and Amts?

That would not be a hard query to write.  If you have started on the query, you may paste it if you are having difficulties getting the desired result.

  • Can I create a Depart Date for a record, from the Arrive Date in the next record?

I have a Customer database with the tables tblCustomers and tblAddress. The tblCustomers has the following fields; CustomerID, CustomerName. The tblAddress has the following fields; CustomerID, Address, Town, County, ArriveDate. When a customer calls us
we start a new record with the CustomerID, CustomerName, Address, Town, County. The ArriveDate is left blank. When my service guy calls to the customer he fills in the ArriveDate field. We do not have a LeaveDate field. He could be there from 1 day up
to 5 days. Each day he is is there he adds another record with all the above data, including the date in the ArriveDate field. If he finishes on a Friday he will take Saturday and Sunday off. On Monday he moves to the next customer, he has a new
customer/location record waiting for him, as before he fills in the ArriveDate and starts working. If he finishes with a customer midweek he will go straight to the next customer where there is a new customer/location record waiting for him to fill in
    the ArriveDate. It looks something along these lines;
    CustomerID    CustomerName    Address              Town               County
     ArriveDate
    5437              Mr.A                    123 Main St

I want to generate a DepartDate which will be generated when the Address, County and/or Town fields change from the previous record. The Depart Date should be equal to the last of the Arrive Dates before the Address, Town and County fields change to
    the new customer/address.
Is this possible to do, i would appreciate any help with this.

    Hi NewAccessLearner,
For the results of the query, I think you accord the logic below to find the DepartDate, but the sql query would be much complex.
Take the 123A to make a simple demo:
#1 check the ArriveDate of the next date whether it exist in the ArriveDate
    DepartDate
    Expr1000
    t1.CustomerID
    t2.CustomerID
    Address
    Town
    County
    ArriveDate
    1/2/2015
    5437
    5437
    123 Main St
    Nenagh
    Tipperary
    1/1/2015
    1/3/2015
    5437
    5437
    123 Main St
    Nenagh
    Tipperary
    1/2/2015
    1/4/2015
    5437
    5437
    123 Main St
    Nenagh
    Tipperary
    1/3/2015
    1/8/2015
    5437
    5437
    123 Main St
    Nenagh
    Tipperary
    1/7/2015
    6/2/2015
    7890
    7890
    77 The Avenue
    Tralee
    Kerry
    6/1/2015
In the first column the “1/4/2015” is not in the ArriveDate, and then the “1/3/2015” would be the date for DepartDate.
I am not familiar with sql query, I think you need to ask the sql experts for help.
    Best Regards,
    Leo
