Hi,
just change the scheme in the "from" and go for it...
SELECT
DOC.DOC_NAME WORKBOOK_NAME ,
U.USER_NAME OWNER_NAME,
--OWN_USR.EU_ID OWNER_ID,
OWN_USR.EU_USERNAME USER_ID
FROM
EUL_XX.EUL5_DOCUMENTS DOC,
EUL_XX.EUL5_EUL_USERS OWN_USR ,
FND_USER U
WHERE
OWN_USR.EU_ID = DOC.DOC_EU_ID
AND TO_CHAR(U.USER_ID(+)) = SUBSTR(OWN_USR.EU_USERNAME,2,10)

  • Problem refreshing query when opening workbook in VBA

I have a report menu in a workbook not containing any queries - only the description, technical name and additional information about the reports.
I use Run ("SAPBEX.XLA!SAPBEXreadWorkbook"), <TECHNICAL_NAME> to open the respective workbooks, which works fine.
However, if I try to refresh the query, BEx displays a message saying:
"Can only refresh this query agains a server of release 2.0 or higher: <QUERY DESTINATION RANGE>"
    We're using BW 3.5!
After that, BEx is a complete mess:
    - Open workbook dialog is from a previous version (without History, Favorites, Roles buttons)
    - All workbooks are displayed, but if I try to open one, BEx claims that "The workbook does not exist in the document store". Then why display it, dear SAP programmers?
Now, if I disconnect and reconnect, the query can be refreshed as if I had opened the workbook directly instead of using VBA.
Our users like the idea of a report menu, so any help would be appreciated!

Changed the error handling as follows, dropped the SAPBEXinitConnection function, which is completely redundant:
    Sub OpenWBTechName()
    On Error GoTo ErrorHandler
        Run ("SAPBEX.XLA!SAPBEXreadWorkbook"), <TECHNAME>
    Exit Sub
    ErrorHandler:
If Err.Number = 1004 Then ExtraInfo = "Start BEx Analyzer!"
res = MsgBox("Sorry, could not open requested report!" & vbCrLf & vbCrLf & ExtraInfo, vbExclamation + vbOKOnly, "Open SAP/BW workbook report: ERROR!")
    End Sub

  • Query shrinking in workbook

    Hello Experts,
When I am assigning data providers to a query in a workbook and viewing it after some days the old data is coming and not the current data.
On going to design mode i can see that the query's area has shrinked and its not over the same area anymore.
I dont want to assign data providers all the time. Kindly tell me whats the solution for this?
    Rohit

When I am assigning data providers to a query in a workbook and viewing it after some days the old data is coming and not the current data.
You need to refresh your workbook to see current data or enable the property to refresh workbook on opening.
On going to design mode i can see that the query's area has shrinked and its not over the same area anymore.
Ya,thats how it displays you see data only in analysis mode.
I dont want to assign data providers all the time. Kindly tell me whats the solution for this?
You neednot do this all the time. Its one time activity.
    Hope this helps.

  • How do you have more than one parameterized Query to display "All"?

    hi,
    I am using:
    Jdeveloper 9.0.5.2
    Oracle Database 9.2.0.1
    Toplink
    Struts
I have been able to create a parameterized query to display an html read only table.
I populated a dropdown list with values from the database
and the values I select will be the parameters to my read only table.
The drop down list is on the same page as the read only table.
I have all this working but I also need to hard code an option in the Drop down to "All"
to represent all values of this parameter.
I was able to trick the jsp page using two read only tables
and displaying the one with the parameterized query when a parameter other than "All" was chosen
and then display the other only when "All" was chosen.
This does not seem the best way to do it.
What if I had more than one parameter and I wanted to show "All"
the values of one and a certain values for another.
I would then need at least 4 read only tables.
How do I accomplish this in an easier way?
    Thanks in advance.

I am not exactly sure what you are asking... Are you having trouble with TopLink, or another part of your application?

  • Not able to replace new query in old workbook

    Hi All,
I am having a workbook on a query which was developed long back, due to few changes i created new query and now i want to replace that query in old workbook which it is not allowing also tried to create new workbook with new query but when i run workbook it shows no applicable data found ,when i run query the data is coming.
I need all your suggestion on this
    Regards
    Deva

    Hi Dev,
Open your Workbook and Go to the Sheet in which the desired query (to be removed) is embedded.
In the "BEx Toolbar" 3rd Last Icon if you place cursor on  it it will say "Tools" > Click on Tools and you will see an Option "Remove Query" or if you want to remove All queries from Work book there is another option Tools> All Queries in Workbook --> Detach.
This will remove the Query from Workbook.
Then in same Tools--> you can see Insert Query click on it and point (select) your new Query.
This will insert the new query in Workbook.
    Save the Workbook.
Hope this will resolve your issue.
Do post back if you face any probs.
    Thanks

  • SCCM report query that displays count of cpus per host and if host is physical or virtual

    Hello,
I have this query that displays the count of CPUs per host.  How can I add a column to show if the host a physical or virtual?

    CPU.Manufacturer0 AS Manufacturer,
    CPU.Name0 AS Name,

    CPU.Manufacturer0,
    CPU.Name0,
    CPU.NumberOfCores0,
    CPU.NumberOfLogicalProcessors0

I see that you have posted this exact question in another forum for CM12, however this is an CM07 forum.
    Are you CM07 or CM12?
If you are CM12, use my answer here.
    http://www.systemcentercentral.com/forums-archive/topic/sccm-report-query-for-cpu-cores/
If you are CM07, this is NOT a simple how exactly do you detect that a computer is a VM? You can guess by looking at the manufacturer name but it is only a guess.

          2. Click on 'Analysis Grid' ,
          3. Uncheck the option 'Apply Formatting' and go back to workbook (exit design mode),

  • Why does the Query Result display "X" as a result

    Hello All,
I have a query in which there are 6 Characteristics and 1 calculated key figure. But when the query is executed the query result displays as "X" in the column against all the 6 characteristics.
Can anybody provide solution as to why the result displays "X" as a result.
    Regards,
    Vikram

    Hello all,
Everybody answered it correctly. But when i debugged the query, i did not get any calculation which is getting divided by 0 and there were no mixed units of measurements. Probably it was an erroneous transport earlier. I only created and request again and transported the query from dev and the query is running fine.
    Thanks everybody.

  • Insertin a query in a workbook

We are on the new version and I don't see the option under the tools to add a query to a workbook.  Has this featured been removed?
    thanks

    Nikki,
It is up to you where you insert the said items but you might like to consider the following:
    - When you insert the query (analysis grid) it has a tab page where you can define whether the results set should be 'clipped' or added with a scroll bar. This will enable you to insert items around the analysis grid and you can then be sure they will not be overwritten because the results will be 'contained'. The standard setting is 'full size', in which case, anaything underneath / to the right will be overwritten if the query expands so you need to change it.
    - If you want to have persistent changes to the query format then you can do this by changing the excel styles for the relevant query parts and then using the 'Themes' within the 'Workbook Settings' to save and apply them
    - There is no way to enter the variable screen into the worksheet as such. The concept now is that the users enter their variable values and then use the navigation pane to filter the results set - which is not that different from 3.5. So therefore you put the navigation pane / filters etc. in the wrokbook. If you want the user to access the variables then they have to select the button on the 'Analysis' toolbar, or you can create a button that calls the variable screen up using the button wizard (CMD>SHOW_VARIABLE_SCREEN).
    Hope this helps,
    Rgds, Keith
