Query to end date all reponsibilities of a user

Hi,
One of the user in our 11i has around 120 responsibilities. I wanted to end date them at a time. If you do have a query, pl post here.

I agree with Kevin, try to avoid updating FND tables and use APIs instead.
Note: 394784.1 - Is there a Stardard API Which Can be Used to Disable or End Date a Responsibility?

  • Actual end date is not update after closing a change

    Hi,
    We are using SCSM 2012, now I want to make report on which changes have been closed in the last month. In som way all the changes that have been closed in SCSM do not have an actual end date, all the changes that I have imported from our old tool does. It
    looks like SCSM does not update this field by itself, but I can't find a field in the change managment module in which I can provide the actual end date.
    How does SCSM 2012 copes with this?
    Kind regards, Marco Jansen

    Hi Greg,
    We are actually testing this now, as MS is not planning to solve this issue on a short term. The use of the last modified date is casuing u a lot of trouble now as we have had an change on our change form casuingthe last modified for all change to be set
    to the date of the change. That was the end of my closing data.
    We are now getting the WA in place from Netviaconsulting, but that is not a complete solution. Not all change reach a state of complete before they are closed. Sometime you will close a change that is cancelled ,rejected or failed. this means that when
    triggering on an update of the record every update will set the actual enddate. Besides when setting the actual enddate on the status closed, the date is update every time the worflow runs.
    We just want the actual enddate to be filled  when a change comes to the status closed from any other status, but this sets the actual enddate on every status change of the change. in some strange way ewe cannot figure this out.
    If anybody has the correct configuration for this workflow it would be very useful. Most prefereably MicroSoft in this case.

  • Expire OIM User based on End Date

    This is a query on expiring an OIM User based on end date.
    Does OIM need any configuration for it to expire the user based upon end date?
    The start date seems to work well as expected but the end date doesn't.
    Even after the end date has arrived the OIM User is not being expired.He is still able
    to login into OIM without any issues.
    Thank you

    Theres a scheduler task that has to be run to check the date and deactivate the users.

  • OIM 11g Modify User Profile for Updating End Date

    Hi Gurus!
    We have an OIM implementation where users may request the creation of other users by means of a Create User request template. In this template we set the End Date to be 3 months after the request date.
    In order for the requester to extend the period of a user's OIM user account (along with its provisioned resources) we customized a Modify User Profile by displaying the End Date field and automatically populate it again to 3 months after the request date. Also we developed a custom event handler to enable the user when it is disabled and the End Date is updated to a future date.
    This Modify User Profile is working great when the user is still enabled (the End Date is still in the future), however, when the End Date has passed (and the user is Disabled) the requester is not able to see the user when selecting the Modify User Profile request template.
    Is there a way to allow requesters to also see disabled users in the Modify User Profile request template?
    Thank you in advance.
    Regards,

    Hi Kevin,
    thanks for your reply!
    But, in this case, when the user is already disabled due to his End Date, how can a requester, through the Self Service TAB, enable it?
    The Enable User request template does not work since when trying to enable the user, OIM sees the End Date is already passed and the DataSet validation throws an exception.
    The only way I saw was providing a Modify User Profile Request template to change the End Date and developing a custom event handler to enable the user upon the extension of the End Date...
    How can, in this situation, a requester enable the user and extend its End Date?
    Thank you!
    Regards,

  • Javascript for calculating End Date

    I have two date fields "Start_Date" and "End_Date". User selects the start date. Then the form takes that date and adds 365 days. puts the result in the "End_Date" field. I have attempted a couple of scripts and none have worked. So I attempted to first just get the selected date in the "Start_Date" field to show in the "End_Date" field. When I select a date like, "May 28,2008" the output reads "Object44194500". Using the following script in the "Start_date" field
    ----- form1.Order_Page.Product_Table.Row4.Subscription_Start::change: - (JavaScript, client) -------
    xfa.resolveNode("form1.Order_Page.Product_Table.Row5.Subscription_End").rawValue = this;
    What am I doing wrong. How do it get it show currently while at the same time adding 365 days. So if the user select May 28, 2008 the output in the "End_Date" field is May 27, 2009??? Thanks
    - a frustrated new developer of LiveCycle Designer 8.0...

    I was able to find an answer on the LiveCycle Google Group. Here is what I was given. (for some reason I only got the FormCalc version to work).
    -----------Begin Code--------------
    if(EndDate.rawValue != null && StartDate.rawValue != null)
    if(EndDate.rawValue < StartDate.rawValue)
    xfa.host.messageBox("Please check your End date. It cannot be before
    the Start date!", "Date Checker", 3);
    this.rawValue = null;
    // to set focus to the End Date field so that the user can type his
    new value..
    xfa.host.setFocus(this.somExpression);
    Alternatively.. this must work if it is formcalc...
    if(EndDate.rawValue <>null and StartDate.rawValue <> null)then
    if(EndDate.rawValue < StartDate.rawValue) then
    xfa.host.messageBox("Please check your End date. It cannot be before
    the Start date!", "Date Checker", 3)
    $.rawValue = ""
    // to set focus to the End Date field so that the user can type his
    new value..
    xfa.host.setFocus(this.somExpression)
    endif
    endif

  • Getting data in a query on last date of all previous months

    Dear Experts,
    I need your help with a query.
    I am trying to create a query which when run should pick the number of Open Sales Order on the last date of all the previous months from the start of company.
    I could create the query for fetching the required data on last day of the previous month, say today is 25th June 2014, so my query only fetches data for May 31st 2014 but I need data for all previous month, May 31st 2014, April 30th 2014, March 31st 2014 & so on.
    Please advise how to achieve this is SQL query.

  • How to calculate first date and end date of this year in Query

    Hi Expert
    I want to calculate following dates with inputted date in query.
    I have no knowledge on ABAP and I just can create a query with simple logic.
    Could you teach me how to calculate following date?
    (If inputted date is April 12 2009)
    - First date of this year (Ex January 1 2009)
    - End date  of this year (Ex December 31 2009)
    - First date of last year (Ex January 1 2008)
    - End date of last year  (Ex December 31 2008)
    - First date of this month (Ex April 1 2009)
    Thank you!
    Take

    HR_JP_MONTH_BEGIN_END_DATE   use this FM to get the begin and end date of the Date you are passing. eg when u give input as 04/12/2009, it will return
    04/01/2009 as begin date
    04/30/2009 as end date
    pass the Year in this FM HR_E_GET_FISC_YEAR_DATES, you will get the Fiscal year Begin and End Dates

  • Query to find the start and end date of current quarter

    I want a query to give me the start date and end date of current quarter
    I don't want to use TRUNC and ROUND as the 16th day roundoff logic is not required.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi ,
    I'm quite sure that the year quarters are static.....
    So , you can save them as records of a table , such as:
    QRTY START_DAY END DAY
    ============================
    1 1/1 30/3
    2 1/4 30/6
    3 1/7 30/9
    4 1/10 31/12
    The sysdate(day of the current quarter) must be between a start_day and appropriate end_day of the quarters, concatenated with the sysyear (year of the sysdate).
    So , if the above table is called Quarters ...
    then
    select start_day , end_day
    from quarters
    where to_date(sysdate,'dd/mm/rrrr') between (to_date(trim((start_day||'/'||to_char(sysdate,'rrrr'))),'dd/mm/rrrr'))
    and (to_date(trim((end_day||'/'||to_char(sysdate,'rrrr'))),'dd/mm/rrrr'));
    [b]Result
    START_DAY END_DAY
    1/10 31/12

  • Get the starting date and end date of all weeks of a given month and year

    hey Guys so far I have this.. but I am having difficulty limiting it by month. I am using Oracle 11 release 1

    Thanks in advance
    Edited by: Aj05 on Jan 12, 2012 7:42 AM

    First you need to define week starting day. If, for example it is Monday:
    TRUNC(TRUNC(&dt,'YYYY') -1,'IW')is first Monday of the year. Then:
    SELECT TRUNC(TRUNC(&dt,'YYYY') -1,'IW') + (LEVEL - 1) * 7 week_start_date
      FROM  DUAL
      CONNECT BY LEVEL <= 53
    /will give start dates of all weeks within &dt year. And:
    WITH t AS (
               SELECT TRUNC(TRUNC(&dt,'YYYY') -1,'IW') + (LEVEL - 1) * 7 week_start_date
                FROM  DUAL
                CONNECT BY LEVEL <= 53
    SELECT  week_start_date,
            week_start_date + 6 week_end_date
      FROM  t
