Query Translation with the Scratch Editor

Hallo,
it seems the scratch editor has some issues with some MS Access queries.
Convertion from Table Creation Queries work well.
Trying to translate Update Queries or Insert Queries often fail.
For example look at this one:
UPDATE tbleC_Check_Reporting
INNER JOIN KORDOBA
ON tbleC_Check_Reporting.[A Kontonummer KORDOBA] = KORDOBA.BS_KTO_NR
SET tbleC_Check_Reporting.Umsatz = KORDOBA.BSE_DATUM_JJJJMMTT;
Translating it i get the error:
Unknown Object: unexpected AST node:
EXEC_PARAM_LIST: Line -1 Column -1
What can be the problem ?

Creating a Query Filter with the MDX editor

I want to create a non mandatory predefined condition in the universe where only the last 31 days are returned. I would like to do this in the MDX editor in universe (released in XI 3.1) and not in the BEx query. There isn't much in the MDX editor that looks useable for this particular issue...and to be honest I haven't a clue what MDX equivalent of sysdate is. The logic is so simple in RDBMS world: The equivalent logic in SQL would be <date> between <sysdate-31> and <sysdate>).
Unforetunately, I cannot do this at the BEx query easily (at least not until I exhaust this option).

Hi,
right now in the Universe you missing the option to do calculations with system like the system date.
You can really easily do this in the BEx Query with an SAP EXIT variable.

hello everybody, I have a problem with the audio editor window ! the "onglet" (sorry I don't know the word in english) "file and track" doesn't appear in the top of the audio editor window ! It does already do this... unless you use manual updating. Under auto updating, tracks played on your iPod should up the count in iTunes on your next sync.

How to call a function with the dependency editor

But it always occurs an error "E28152 Function myfunction is not declared".

Error in the PC editor. Continue with the line editor. Word 2010

We have just completed upgrade to ECC6.0 eph4.
We are evaluating new workstion build to depoly windows 7 and office 2010. We are installing SAP GUI 7.2 patch 1 on the workstations. While testing the build, we are finding that when creating/changing texts in VD02 and IW52 long text. That the editor defaults to the line editor. How can we change editor to call Word 2010? From reading SAP notes, SAP 7.20 supports windows 7 and office 2010. Is there a parameter or transaction that needs to be set for the user?
Please advise.

Steps:
We open IW52 to service notification, click on long text icon. Screen opens with line editor. When select "Change Editor" in menu, we then see this message.
Error in the PC editor. Continue with the line editor
     Message no. TD754
Diagnosis
     An internal error occurred in the PC editor accessing the text (data
     transport with the data provider).
System Response
     The operation could not be executed in the PC editor.
Procedure
     Contact your PC system administrator.

How can I use eCompanion in the Author mode with the visual editor in Firefox?

Our college uses eCompanion, but the current platform on works with the visual editor in the XP version of the Windows operating system. Online Chat help said that using Firefox with the Xihna Here plugin was a successful work around. I am unable to find information about the above listed plugin. I need help.

I have been experiencing similar problems with the HTML Editor and have managed to find an answer that should start to answer some of my questions. The Apex HTML Editor Standard is actually an HTML editor called FCKeditor. The FCKeditor has a Javascript API that can be found at http://docs.fckeditor.net/FCKeditor_2.x/Developers_Guide/JavaScript_API. I needed to get the text entered within my html editor standard (e.g. P1_MYTEXT) and use it within my javascript function. I did this by using the following script

Is there any way to add a fade gradient to a rectangle I made with the title editor?

I made a rectangle as a background with the title editor.
I want to make the sides fade out to nothing, sort of like a glow in PS...
Is there any way to do that?
I tried using a stroke, and a gradient, but I didn't see a way to select no color.
Any ideas?

Neat! You always come up with some great tricks.
Now, I am not clear on this part, so some "hand-holding" will be necessary:
Make it the size of the action safe margin, so it is slightly smaller than the framesize.
Can you give me a bit more detail, please?
I did the Fast Blur @ 60 and checked Blur Dimensions to Horizontal and it gave me a nice gradient.
I just think that I am missing something, regarding the Action Safe Margins.

[Edit] It might have just dawned on me. You are limiting one side of the rectangle WITH the Action Safe Margin. Is that correct? That would give one the rectangle coming in solid from outside the Frame and then "fading" on the end that we can see.

Query parameters with the same name and different values

According to HTTP, multiple query or post parameters with the
same name and different values are permitted. They are transfered
over the wire in the following format -
name1=val1&name1=val2&name1=val3
The problem is that I can't see anyway of assigning multiple
parameters with the same name and different values to the request
object of mx.rpc.http.HTTPService. I have tried using the
flash.utils.Dictionary object as it does strict key comparison but
that doesn't work too. I have tried setting an array of values to a
property of the request object but that sends the request to the
server in the following format -
name1=val1,val2,val3
The java servlet engines throw exceptions when they see this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I created some visual beans, added it to the palette, and made use of it using the form editor. But somehow, I decided to move the bean to another package. Now, the problem is when I try to build my project, the forms referencing that moved bean is not updated. They still show(as fully qualified class names) the old package location of the bean. In simple saying, they were not refactored together with the moved bean. Please Help Me With this...

Bet you had errors during refactoring saying that the occurrence is in guarded section and can not be refactored.
Try to replace old references in *.from/*.java files outside the IDE.

HT2737 what can i do if my code on my itunes gift card scratches off with the scratch off label?

I have a 25$ itunes giftcard. When I scratched off the scratch off label some of the code came off with it. Is there anything I can do to be able to use giftcard?

Probelm with the sql editor window

i ahve installed sql developer 1.5.1
when i run the sql command the result pane display has the overlapped columns.
at times the result rows are shown twice.
there is some issue with the editor used in the sql editor window

You should upgrade to 1.5.3 if you can.
These type of display issues are often a result of problems with java and the display adapter.
What version of java are you using?
What operating system and version are you using?

How do I stop PSE 13 organizer from quitting unexpectedly when working with the PSE editor

Every time I'm working in the editor I get the error message "the organizer has quit unexpectedly" I have uninstalled and reinstalled as per chat supports recommendation with no improvement. Forming a report query dynamically with the value of an item

Hi Gurus,
We wanted to create a report based on the value of an item in the page.
For example
There is a text box named p1_table depending on the value of this item the query of the report should change
1) when p1_table = emp then report query should be select * from emp
2) when p1_table = dept then report query should be select * from dept
I tried doing this using
select * from :p1_table and select * from v('p1_table') , it is not working.
Kindly help me in achieving the requirement.

Hi Vikas,
You have to do this as a report based on a function that returns the query as a string. You build up the string dynamically in the function.
