Question about bill!!!

I signed up of the Friends & Family plan back in 2009. When I signed up, my family got the 1400 mins, unlimited text + two extra lines added. Those extra lines cost $9.99, this we knew. Now, correct me if I'm wrong (And I've been checking online and have found numerous websites that quote this) the 1st and 2nd lines were included in 89.99/mo.
Now, my parents were the ones who set this up and we've had the same account with same amount of phones this whole time that we have been with the company. I just got online to look and see what upgrades my family and I were able to get and what do I see? I see that the second line on the account is being charged 9.99. So, i wondered why, checked around my billing and the website for awhile before I come to the conclusion that there is no reason for this.
I call in to a CSR and she is running back and forth between a sup and I for ten fifteen minutes. Atlast I ask for the Sup and another five minute later, I am told that the Sup is business in an important meeting and that if I would like to wait, the CSR can find another Sup.
Of course I wait, why wouldn't I? This is around $260 that we've paid into something we didn't need to. While I was waiting, the CSR tells me that HER Sup told her the only way to get the Friends and Family 1400mins/mo w/ the 2 lines included is if I had upgrades available on all the phones, had only smartphones on my account, and that the Verizon store we went to to get our account lied to me.
I justed said ok and asked for the Sup. I wait for the Sup and when he gets on, he repeats everything back to me, tells me the current promo, which I wasn't talking about in the first place, then tells me he doesn't know anything else. I repeated what the CSR said to me and he agreed with that. Smartphones weren't even really out yet in 2009 when we got the plan. He said he didn't know anything about it. He told me that before this promo that just ended, all Friends and Family plans were one line for 89.99 and every line after that was 9.99.
What I'm trying to find out is whether or not this is true. I've been to a few websites talking about the "new" Friends and Family, stating price and how many lines were included (i can give the websites if needed) that were written back between Febuary and March of 2009. Can anyone enlighten me please? Because if I am right, I was just lied to twice by two supervisions.

  • Simple question about billing address.

This question may be simple, but is important to me.
May I change my credit card without changing my billing adress?
It's just that I am afraid that if I change my Credit card, which is european, I will then receive my bill in euros.
So, will it affect the billing adress at all?

Your iTunes billing address must fit the billing address of your CC!
If the billing address of your CC is not in the same country as your iTunes account that CC will be refused.
What exact countries/currencies are you talking of?

  • Question about bill charge!

I am a little upset with the bill charge for this month. I can't accept this charge.
My plan was Family share plan 700 last month, and I added one more line.
Then, some days later, I changed my plan to Family share plan 1400 because I thought that we might need more minutes.
However, the bill of this month is $292.65!  Voice charges are $130.05, and other charges are more about $50!
I can't understand this bill. I changed my plan to upper level in order not to happen this king of things.
Please, help me. Any help and solution will be appreciated!

Lots of things COULD be happening here. Your minutes for the 1st half of the month would be prorated if you didn't request the change take were back dated. For example if you made the change on day 15(15/30 * 700 = 350 minute allowance) of your cycle and had already used 450 minutes, you would have been over for the 1st 15 days by 100 minutes and have to pay an overcharge of $45($0.45 * 100 = $45). Charge would have been greater if you were further over in minutes. Plus you would have to pay the additional charge for the 1400 minute plan for the last 15 days of your billing cycle. For the additional line, you would be charged for the month for that line plus the taxes and any data plan or data charges if you didn't have a plan. You don't say if you have a texting or data plans. Did you send/receive any texts without a plan? Did you use any data without a plan or go over in your allowance. Anything we tell you is just speculation without more information.

  • Urgent question about billing

    Hi there
Funds were late coming through to my bank account this month and therefore i had no money in my account when my bt bill was due to be taken out by direct debit. So it didn't work.
How do i pay my bill myself now that there is money in my account or does the direct debit just attempt to take the funds again in a few days?

  • A question about billing in cross company sales,TKS!

    Hi:
In our cross company sales process, after we create billing document in deliver company code, an AP document will be automatically generated in selling cmpany code by EDI using output type:RD04 and message type:INVOIC.
But I only can find the inbound IDOC for AP posting in the selling company code, and I can't find the outbound IDOC in the delivery company code.
I wonder if there is outbound IDOC generated in this process?
    THanks

    Hi
Trust me debugging is not that easy. If we don't know the route cause then we have to debug from scratch to end and it could take hours. Leave it as last choice. First try to find some clue from testing it with different scenarios.
What I suggested is to create a new customer in DEV and create sale order. Don't go for sales deal. We can create sale order without creating any sales deals right? Just test this and update.
    Thank$

  • Questions about Contracts and New Phones

I've had some questions about how upgrading and adding new lines to a contract works and I haven't been able to find the answers through Google. First some background information: We started this most recent contract in September of 2011 and as such the current contract will end September of 2013. According to the phone information portal, all three of the devices on my account will be eligible for an upgrade this Saturday (May 4th, 2013). My daughters birthday just so happens to coincide with that date and as such we were planning on surprising her by taking her to buy a new phone and we are going to allow our son to upgrade his phone as he has been asking to for a while.
Is there any way of locking/limiting the amount of data allowed for each phone on a shared plan? I'm worried that my daughter will go way over our limit and not pay attention to the point where she will end up costing us a very large amount of money
Does adding a new line require the start of a new contract?
My son was interested in purchasing the "Samsung Galaxy S4" and has noticed that pre-orders for that phone are currently available. Is it possible to pre-order the phone on that date using the upgrade so that the price will be reduced?
If the answer to number 2 is a no, does adding the new line take away the upgrades from other phones or would he be able to go to the store past the release date and upgrade then?
Thanks for taking the time to read through all of this. Any help that I receive will be extremely appreciated.

    1. Yes. There is an additional fee per line you wish to do this for. When you add the line you can choose this option and set the data amount it is allowed to use.
    2. Yes. Each line is a separate contract with its own expiration date.
    3. The contract starts when you sign up for the contract. The amount will be pro-rated on the plan if it is not started until part-way through your billing cycle that is what you are asking. Doing the pre-order just guarantees you the phone in case they sell out.
    4. No it will not take any upgrades away as each line has its own termination date. You can move upgrades around between lines though.

  • Some question about International Travel

Ok so i know alot of people have question about international travel weather is USA to Canada, Canada to USA or where ever.
So i just got off the phone with someone from AT&T these are my questions for them. i hope it can help, im confuse myself.
*1. I travel recently travel to canada a few weeks ago, when i cross the boarder i switch the data roaming ON and it picks up Rogers Wireless, a few days ago i try i again it said NO SERVICE is something wrong with my iPad?*
NO, consider yourself lucky u didnt get charge for that roaming, your ipad well not work out of the US unless u buy one of our International plans that AT&T has provided. The reason for this is so you wont have any unwanted charge or high charge on your bill.
*2. If i was to buy a sim card from Canada and pop it in to my US ipad well it work?*
Honestly that's something you can try at your own risk, it's design for AT&T so by switching sim cards it may affect your ipad such as running slow, virus, crash. You can try it, i dont work for Rogers so i know nothing about them, i work for AT&T so i can only tell you about our plans and i wont lie to you.(I THINK U JUST DID) This ipad is not unlock just like the iphone so it well only work with AT&T.
*3. If i pop my sim card out and put in an international sim card well it affect my plan at all or in any way?*
Yes it can, right now your on the unlimited plan if you put in a different sim card and then re-put in ur AT&T one chances are you're going to loose your unlimited plan and have to settle for the newer plan. That's why AT&T has reduce it's international plans so people are more likely to use it. It's a contract we sign with Apple, if u want to use in canada you can always buy an Ipad in canada and use their plan. (***)
At the end of this conversion i was just more angry with them. All in all she told bottom line is dont do anything stick with AT&T and pay for international plans. So i have to pay over price data plan if i want to use it intertanional? or i have to buy an ipad for each international places i go to?
Has anyone try or done any of the 3 ive mention and did it affect ur plan or ipad in anyway?
    Thanks
    Andy

Ok so here's a little more info
I called AT&T again today asking them the same question the guy was more helpful then the one yesterday. Even though he kinda told me the same saying that the ipad need to be unlock. , Afterward he transfer me someone from Apple. The lady told me
    1. The ipad is UNLOCK so dont bother trying to get it unlock.
    2. she doesnt see why sticking in another sim card from one of the apple ipad carrier is a problem. U would just have to sign up activated it like u would when u first got it.
    3. Contact phone company (my case Rogers) to see if they carry the mico sim cards.
    4. She doesnt see why it would affect the current plan u have now.
So at the end of all that she told me, seem like AT&T is just telling you, you cant do this or u shouldnt do that is simple THEY WANT YOU TO USE THEIR PLANS.
so with that i said i just want to let everyone know. I'm gonna go pick my Micro sim cards from Canada in a bit and sign up for thier plan we'll keep everyone updated if anything change or how it work

  • Questions about CIN tax procedure choice and pricing schemas

    Hi all,
I have to implement SAP on a Indian company and I'm verifying all particularity about this country (in particular tax procedures and the great number of differents tax conditions used).
I have two questions about tax procedures and pricing schemas. Every feedback about thse points will be appreciated.
    a) To choose tax procedure TAXINN or TAXINJ which are the elements that I have to consider?
I have read lot of documentation about CIN implementation and Iu2019m oriented to choose TAXINN schema, but If possible I  would  to understand better which are on behalf of one choice or another.
    b) To define pricing schemas for India, after check with local users and using examples of documents (in particular tax invoice) actually produced, I have understood that taxes have to be applied on amount defined starting from price list, minus discounts recognized to customer plus surcharges eventually to bill (packing, transport,  etc.).
Itu2019s correct for any type of taxes that tax amount is calculated on u201Cnet valueu201D defined at item level or there are exceptions to this rule?
    Thanks in advance
    Gianpaolo

    hi,
this is to inform you that,
    a) About point 1 I know the difference between the 2 tax procedures (conditions or formulas). I also have read in others post in the FORUM that TAXINN is preferable. So I would to understand which are the advantages to choose instead TAXINJ. There are particular reasons or it'a only an alternative customizing setting?
a.a. for give for posting the link : plese give me the advantages of TAXINJ and TAXINN
    CIN - TAXINN and TAXINJ
    b) About point 2, to define which value has to be used as base amount to calculate taxes isn't a choice, but is defined depending by fiscal requirement of the country, in this case India fiscal requirement. I know that, as Lakshmipathi
write as answer on my question, exception could be, but it was important for me to understand if I have understood correctly the sequence of the pricing condition in the schema in "normal" situation.
b.b. you can create your own pricing procedure for this and go ahead.
    hope this clears your issue.

  • Questions about application server architecture

    Hello guys,
I have few questions about application server architecture
I have a task to build a server application which will do the following: Clients (special java clients) will connect to it and send some data for further processing on server side. Chunks of data will be relatively small but they will take a lot of time for processing (it is ok that it will be quite slow).
Also server will run some sort of database where all clients working data will be stored. So, in case a client loses its data he/she is always able to download it from the server.
For me it seems, like server will consist of the following components:
    1. Reception. This part will be responsible for all client-communication procedures.
    2. Data storage. This part will simply store all clients data and provide some API interface for clients through reception to manage it (add/get/delete and so on).
    3. Processor. Some sort of dummy-sophisticated module. It will take some input data from data storage when it receives order for this and process it. Processor will have two states: busy which means processor processing some data and available which means processor ready to process new data.
    4. Manager. This part will always check data storage for new data and processor for availability. When processor and new data are available manager will make an order for processor to take new data from data storage and process it.
So, my question is the following: Which technology and approaches I should use to realize my plan?
I think that I can make reception as a Session Bean, but I dont know yet, what are the best for the rest, for example manager and processor. I was thinking about writing my own application server (and I can do it), but I would like to learn j2ee technologies, so I think it is a perfect chance for me (I read a lot about j2ee before I wrote this post, but all examples have only account-bill-money transfer I think it is quite far away from reality or I am doing something wrong ;-)!
p.s. I am thinking about using JBoss as an Application Server. I tested it and wrote some tests. They work and run fast enough, so I like it. Moreover it has module architecture.
Please, give me some advises and tips!
    Thank you in advance!

    1. Reception. This part will be responsible for all
client-communication procedures.Session bean with remote interface.
    2. Data storage. This part will simply store all
clients data and provide some API interface for
clients through reception to manage it
(add/get/delete and so on).Session bean that will use entity beans or hibernate to work with persistant data.
    3. Processor. Some sort of dummy-sophisticated
module.Use a message driven bean. Make Reception to enqueue a message when new data is available for processing. Processor will process the data and store the resut in database using Data Storage session bean.
    4. Manager. This part will always check data
storage for new data and processor for
availability. When processor and new data are
available manager will make an order for
processor to take new data from data storage and
process it.It's redundand component, because application server will manage messages and processors.
