Question about SAP Enterprise Services Explorer 1.1

    1. I use dotnet connector before and now someone told me that I can use SAP Enterprise Services Explorer 1.1
        but when I download this app, it says '90 day evaluation ';
        what about after 90 days?
    2. another questions, our warehouse will perform a WTS<Warranty Tracking System> which needs scan some barcode,
        and our scanner's OS is Windows Mobile 5.0 which<Model:intermec 700C> can be developed in VS 2005.
       my question is can I develop a windows mobile application with using SAP Enterprise Services Explorer 1.1?

From a mobile PC application you can connect only webservice or you should have to develop you own RFC connector from zero.
the architecture I use for Pocket PC is some webservices hosted in a .net webserver. The pocket PC connects the .net webserver and my webserver used a RFC proxy. My RFC proxy is built with SAP .net connector, JCo, or Erp connect, a .net api for sap developped by a great guy ... SAP Enterprise Service Explorer 1.0
Configuration:
I'm not sure what's the right service registry url? I used http://<server>:<port>/sr
Basic Authentication
no proxy
Error:
Cannot connect to Service Registry. Make sure the URL and/or proxy values are valid
Any ideas?

what about the service url?
I tested the following:
<server>:<port>/ESRegistryWS/BasicAuthConfig?wsdl&style=document&mode=standard
<server>:<port>/ServicesRegistrySiService/ServicesRegistrySiPort?wsdl&mode=ws_policy
Do i have to specify the server as ip address?
I have tested the services in WSNavigator successfully.
But in VS2005 nothing is working.
Error without proxy:
Cannot connect to the Service Registry. Make sure that all login parameters are valid.
Error with proxy:
Cannot connect to the Service Registry. Make sure the URL and/or proxy values are valid.
Without proxy sounds better because it seems that the system checks the user and password. But my user and password are not running in that configuration.
Via URL in the browser i have no problem to login to the service registry.

is there a version for SAP Enterprise Service Explorer for Visual Studio 2008?
I have found to fix the localization error.

SAP Enterprise Services Explorer License key

Hello,
How can I obtain a license key for the SAP Enterprise Services Explorer for Microsoft .NET ?
There was a message stating that it was a 90 day trial version when I downloaded the installation file.
We do have a license for SAP NetWeaver CE 7.2; but I can't find where to download a version that it's not trial or get a proper license key
(SAP Support Portal / Downloads / SAP Connectors or Keys and Requests)
Also I'd like to know what's the process to apply this license? It's my understanding that it only applies to the development machine. Is this assumption correct ?

SAP Enterprise Service Explorer

To me it seems that the SAP ES Explorer is the current textbook tool to connect .net in Visual Studio 2008 with SAP backend.
Can I use the tool only with an ESR on SAP side established, or also having just one WebAS ABAP. Since I have to configure the ESR I have not found a way to use it just with a plain WebAS ABAP.

for using the ES Explorer you need the ESR. Nevertheless you can also consume the Web Services from WebAS directly in Visual Studio 2008, we published a paper where we describe how to do this on http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/2/8/a287c141-b72e-4e9e-aac5-826e3f0d6d76/StatefulNetWeaverCommunication.pdf where we describe how to do it with Visual Studio 2005, the same approach works in Visual Studio 2008.

Are you talking aboiut PI message Header or Enterprise Service Header??
Messahe Header hold the information about Basic details like to Identify the service.
If you are trying to call one enterprise service from one application it could be Composite application or VC or NWDS using some proxy class or what ever.you give the message header details in proxyy class,so it direclty make a call to Enterprise Service.
it is my understanding.

I have got 3 important questions about SAP HANA.
1.
- Our Company has all up about 150 SAP - Systems.
- 12 Systems are ERP-Systems.
=> We consider about SAP HANA at the moment.
=> Is it possible to put all the 12 ERP-Systems in ONE SAP HANA or do I need one seperate HANA for each ERP-System?
=> If it is possible, can you tell me the disadvantages when I use 1 HANA for the 12 ERP-Systems.
=> Is there a Storage-Limit in the HANA (I think no, because of 64 bit).
=> Can I still make realtime-analytics with 1 HANA for 12 SAP Systems?
2.
=> Can I run ONE HANA with different non-SAP-Systems?
3.
=> Is there a Demo-Center from SAP or IBM, where I can test and see the HANA before I buy it?
(I do not mean the Fujitsu TDS Demo Center)

There are no disadvantages as of now.. improve existing planning, forecasting, pricing
optimization and other processes

There is no limit on Stotrage: You need check how much Data you need on RAM (Real time processing) Storage.Minimum you can buy is 64 GB and multiple of it for (RAM)

YEs you can run HANA for 3rd party S/W or non-sap systems for your real time anlytics.
It has ODBC and JDBC both and you can combine it with other systems.

Go to saprouter directory in command prompt cd :\usr\sap\saprouter
> type saprouter -v
You can see result like below

long since I like the models and items sony. from start playstation, cameras, camcorders up, I've ever had. and a new camera that I bought two years ie compact cameras Sony Cybershot DSC H200. as of a month ago, a camera was having problems in lenses that would not close. and setting the automatic mode to move by itself. I came to the Sony Service Center in Makassar, precisely on Jl. Shop Pengayomann A5 / 05 (0411) 442340.
operator initially said only two weeks to work on my camera. but this week has been more dau even want to go in a month tomorrow, dated July 9, no news from the service center. and I kept the call to the office service. as well as assorted reasons. there are no spare parts or technical constraints, and the last one I call to his office, he said the factory spare part is damaged. imported directly from Singapore. I think, ko new spare part it can be damaged before using that? how the quality of this Sony spare part? ugly? not good? why?
I was disappointed with this situation, where soon it will Eid, want to return home as well to Java. but the camera has not been settled workmanship?
nah, roughly what is the solution of the Sony plagued with this problem? please help, because he did not know to whom to complain. operator had just said: it's up to the father alone.

Some questions about SAP esourcing

I have one question about SAP eSourcing. In RFQ document, before RFQ award is published, our customer do not want the price of RFx response disclosed to collaborators. After the award is published, the price can be released to collaborators. As I know, we can use page customization to hide page field. But the price is collection field. So I failed to use page customization to hide it.
Pls advise me how to realize it.

Is there an Enterprise Services Explorer that will work with Visual Studio 2008? All I can find is version 1.1 which only works under VS 2005.

Can you please give some more informaiton ?
1. Were you able to navigate to the "Add Service Reference" step of the wizard ?
2. If #1 is true - Did your process succeeded After clicking on "Finish" ? are you able to see the .NET proxy class generated by the ESE under Visual Studio "Web Reference" folder ?
3. if both #2 & #3 are true - can you please check under the "Web Refernce" folder if a new folder exist by the name you gave it and if you choose "Show all files" you can see the WSDL's of the service & a .NET class.

SAP Enterprise Services: Configuration Date

I need the configuration dates for SAP Enterprise Services.
Case: my team of APO BPXs has done an analysis of available SAP Enterprise Services using ES Workplace on March 4th. and 5th. But there was the update of APO from 5.0 to 7.0. Therefore I need the following information:
- Did my APO group use APO/SCM 5.0 or 7.0 on March 4th. and 5th.? (Where is the history of updates on SAP Servers, in particular on HU08).
- Where can I find a comprehensive list of the available SAP Enterprise Web Services with:
Date WS Configured (so my BPX can review and check only the new WSs. This is a paramount in order to recommend updates on existing SOA applications that use "home made" web services?)

Question about SAP client setting when create new connection in CR2008

Dear All,
I have a question about SAP client setting in Crystal Report 2008 when I try to create a new connection use SAP OpenSQL(SAP Table,Cluster,or Function).
I have a SAP IDES environment with 5 clients.
While I try to create a CR standard report use SAP OpenSQL, I entered 800 into Client field in u201CUser logon credentialsu201D. The connection can be created and I can get table list. After I built a report ,I can not get data from IDES client 800, but I can get data from client 000.
I am sure client 800 has data.I checked client 800 table with Tcord se16.
I also did other tests and felt confused a lot.
Even inexistent client, such as u201C00u201Dand u201C8000u201D can be used for creating connection.
I just want to know how can I get data from client 800.

I am not sure about your suggestion clearly. What's your mean all the authorizations to use CR?
Maybe I should clarify my operations.
I logon CR2008 as administrator and created two SAP connections with different client.
There is a table named "/BEV3/CHBALLG" be showed in these connections.
I checked clients "000" and "800" both have data in the table.
I can use client 000 connection create report and get right data, but the report base on client 800 connection could not get data.
If change to another table,such as "/SAPDMC/LSOFIL", I can get data both form these connections.
I found one thing is very weird. Client "00" and "8000" do not exist in my IDES environment, but I can use them for creating connection.
May I have your further suggestions?
