Why do you need InDesign CS (that is version 3) or InDesign CS3 (that is Version 5) to install InDesign CS5.5 (it is version 7.5)?
If it is an upgrade and asks you to input your serial of an older version, you have to get an find it. No one will help you here. If you can't find it and if you have not registered it, you are out of luck. You will have to spend money for a new version.

iOS apps are different than Mac apps, so you can't use a iOS app on a Mac. You have to purchase that app in the Mac App Store in order to use it with the Mac. They are different operating systems and require different apps -

Why I can't download dropbox app?
I'm not saying you don't have the iTunes store in Malaysia, however not all apps are available in all iTunes stores. You need to log into your iTunes store and do a search and see if the app is there and available. If so, then download. If you have trouble doing it on the phone, then download it on the computer and sync.

I keep getting notified I have an update available but when I try to update I get the following msg ,"You have updates available for other accounts To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it.". I only have one account with apple and the software was preinstalled when I purchased my macbook in Aug 2012 with that account. Has anyone had this problem or know how to find out what account apple needs?
You log into the App store using the same Apple ID you used to set the computer up, verify that none of your apps are hidden and that they have all be accepted and then download and install the update

My apple ID password works for all of my devices but one. i only have one account and have changed the password several times but still cannot get it to work on my iPhone. any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks for the suggestion, Chris. I actually did not resolve the issue which is why i did not post an answer.
it turns out that my iphone seems to default to an incorrect User ID (it defaults to an @me account, which is not something that i have ever used).
even when i change the User ID in my settings for the iTunes store, it still appears when i attempt to get updates for my existing apps. however, it does seem to use the correct ID when i attempt to purchase new apps.
If someone actually had an answer to correct this, i would love to update my existing apps.

can you have different accounts (meaning different passwords, different countries/store) with the same apple ID (only one e-mail address)?
thank you for your reply, it is not very fair from apple, since for not using your credit card, you need to create a new account and if you do not have multiple e-mail working , you are stuck! thanks anyway

I have paid Bell to unlock my old iphone4 and they have said it is now unlocked. Can I skip the back up and restore process and just buy another carriers sim card from my daugther Kodoo plan, install it and active the iphone4 on itunes account in her name?

Backup the phone, Erase it, connect to iTunes for the unlock process, then your iProfile can be restored.
You can go ahead and get the SIM, bout you have to Erase the phone and connect to iTunes before it will be unlocked. -
I need help to sync my ipod. When connected to my computer, itunes tells me it is synced to another account. I only have one account. I had tons of stuff stored on itunes, now my itunes account is blank. I fear connecting my iphone or ipad now. I would like to use my itunes to download movies and shows to my ipad2' but I'm not sure I want to risk it. I have signed onto my husband's computer and tried to assess my itunes account but get the same result! Help!

How did this happen?
Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything back.
You can sync iphone/ipad to one and only one itunes library at a time. Syncing to another will indeed erase the iphone. -
I have Lion, and I can't see my unread messages count in the dock, even after the preferences set up.
I find the Lion Mail too complicated. Leopard was much easier and more simple to use. I only have one account& don't need all the rest.

Did you actually buy the app or did it Come free on your Mac when you bought it? Kf it camefree on your Mac, did you sign into your account look on the Purchases pane and except the iLife apps?

You should only get that message when you are trying to create a new account.
Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your mobile device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer. -

Why do I get a warning that I have exceeded the 5 account limit per computer, when I only have one account. It will allow me to purchase songs from itune, but will not download them to my itune account.

I receive both My husbands emails and mine through my ipad. We both have gmail accounts. His emails are coming down on the ipad but not mine. I haven't received mail since Saturday. We use the email for business I desperately need it and I don't have a laptop anymore as it is broken. In my wisdom I desired to buy an ipad instead, what a mistake.
The iPad will support multiple Gmail accounts, but of course you have to set each one up individually. Did you set up both accounts? Go into Settings/ Mail, Contacts, Calendars to confirm both accounts exist. If they do, also familiarize yourself on how to navigate between accounts to make sure you can view your Inbox. You may also want to check your settings to make sure that you have the default account set up as you expect for Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Notes (if you're using all those features). That is important only when initiating something new, you have to have a default account to do such a thing so make sure the default is your account since it is your iPad (assuming that's what you want).
Alternatively, install the free Gmail app and then use only his (or your) account with that app and use the standard iOS Mail app for the other account.
