Hmmm, I think the byte[] is actually the msgid given to the enqueued message. RAW(16).

Question About Data Dump.....

I want to copy structure from a schema to another schema.
I try to use Expdp/Impdp to do this.
1. Can I export a schame which user still working on?anythings need to do before I start Expdp? I always get error in fetch_xml_clob and Expdp stop. It seem expdp cannot read the metadata some time.
2. I try to export a empty schema, it is ok. Then I import it to another schema, It cause a error -- "Feature not Enabled: Streams Capture". Any Solution ????

Symptoms
You start a schema level export job in Oracle10g with the export DataPump utility:
expdp system/manager DIRECTORY=my_dir DUMPFILE=expdp_scott.dmp LOGFILE=expdp_scott.log SCHEMAS=scott
The export jobs fails with the following errors:

Cause
You check for invalid objects in the database:
SQL> connect system/manager
SQL> set lines 200
SQL> select status, object_id, object_type, owner||'.'||object_name "OWNER.OBJECT"
from dba_objects where status != 'VALID' order by 4,2;
The output shows that package DMSYS.DBMS_DM_UTIL is invalid.
Package DMSYS.DBMS_DM_UTIL is used by the Oracle Data Mining option.
Fix
1. Run the script dmputil.plb to re-create the invalid package. E.g.:
SQL> CONNECT dmsys/dmsys
ERROR:

Query on oracle dump file

Hi All ,
I have a question on Oracle Dump file . Is there a way to know how many objects got exported into the dump file during expdp . How do we know what are the objects which got exported and which dint get exported during a full export of a DB .

I guess i wasnt more elaborate ...
yeah i understand that log file will give me details of objects exported . log files gives me the list of tables exported , but objects index, procedures, packages , synonyms , views are all done in a group , it just says exported indexes , it will not show me which indexes got exported right ? ... SO i want to know about each and every object which got exported .

Crash Dump Analysis, application cannot execute

Welcome,
my question regarding to dump crash. I have problem with application. When I run application, I see first intro, second intro and later application crash and return to the desktop with error stop working. I created dump file of error and paste analyze below.
I must add, that this application works properly on the other computer with Windows Server 2012 Datacenter x64. Could someone tell me, where is the problem, why application crashed with error access violation?

Metropolis software was shut down in 2009 and there is no further support or development for the products. Since their shutdown is prior to win 8 it cannot be compatible. Read about it here http://www.giantbomb.com/metropolis-software-house/3010-107/
The only thing I can suggest for you is to try re-installing the game in compatibility mode.
To install in compatibility mode do the following:
Right click the installer>properties>compatibility>choose OS

1. Try to Avoid using LOCK TABLE
2. Use only SELECT ... FOR UPDATE when really needed
3. Try to avoid massive INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE running at the same time on the same rows
In an Oracle database, SELECT without FOR UPDATE clause does not lock rows.
Readers (SELECT) are not blocked by writers (INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE) and vice-versa: only writers are blocked by writers.

PSE 12 and PE 12 says loaded sucessfully - but will not run it says my "trial has expired" ?

I bought a DVD from Amazon .
Both products say they loaded properly. But I can not get past the Welcome screen. Both apparently got registered properly. But it now insists my trial is over so buy another copy!
Obviously this is a simple retail pack bought on a DVD.
I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times - once even going back to an earlier restore point. Once PSE opened. But when I closed it down and configured it to always open not on the Welcome screen but on the Editor, From then on the shortcut wouldn't even open the Welcome screen - and I had to reinstall it..
I can only think somehow, when it activated itself with my serial number it now thinks it is an expired trial version - and Yes I am on WIndows [saw posts claiming some people got the Mac serial no's]
I have seen a few forum posts about this - but no way to fix it.
I just came to realise Photoshop is a great product - well version 9 was. But Adobe has THE WORST SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE that i have ever seen .
I think it is a deliberate ploy to lose a customer in a labarynth of semi relevant online questions; only to dump you at the end into a Forum like this, where basically its up to the generosity of existing users to help you.
Well that is a smart way to avoid hiring trained people for a proper support department.
So I need help any ideas?
Do you think if i return it to Amazon and get a replacement this would work?
The irony is I only bought Version 12; because my old copy of PSE and PE Version 9 came bundled and preloaded with my Sony Vaio Laptop. As there is no way to see the serial number of these products once installed and Sony are unable to give me one because it was factory installed! Yep 8 emails and 3 months later I gave up. Mental note never buy any preloaded software from Sony.
As I always felt vunerable because of this; eg say the program needed reloading; I could not do it without a valid serial number. So seeing the special offer, I thought well now is the time for safetys sake to put myself in a position where if I had a problem; then at least I could reinstall the product. Plus get the benefits of the upgrade.
So instead of improving my position; I have ended up, unsupported, and with no running application! And with no support from Adobe - pretty much no way of resolving it.
Unless some kind person on this forum know how it is done?
Been up all night till 6.46 am trying to solve it .
So if I do not post a quick reply it is not because I am not interested - just exhuasted - and so fed up!
But I will be back tomorrow.

DWMX Not Displaying All Files

Hello folks. This is my last attempt to locate a solution for
why my DWMX is not displaying all my files in my local or remote
folder. I have a new client who has put us in charge of moving
their site to a new server. When I create a new site in DWMX, it
allows me to download and upload just fine, ALL of the site.
Problem is, DWMX will only display a certain number of files in
both the local and remote views. In my windows explorer, it shows
all the files, on the new server it shows all the files, but DWMX
will not. The folder in question is the dumping ground for all
their self-managed content images for their site. So it is hard to
split these up into multiple folders and expect the code to work
properly.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, is there a
solution to this problem with DWMX?

This is a bash on Quicken reply. I have struggled with Quicken (currently Q07) for many, many years (back into the 90's). I counted 13 different sets of Quicken datasets which have been left hanging on my various hard drives over these years as I found out through different support calls that I would have to discard a corrupted database and start over.
Last year, I was told by Quicken support during a call I paid for that I had too many accounts and the database was too large. (This has been a common tech support comment for me) I've only tried to use Quicken for personal finance tracking, no securities tracking and the heavier features (thank goodness). The call ended with an all too familiar bottom line which was that the backups were all bad so they didn't help. The support person couldn't figure out how I could utlize the backup data so in the end, I re-entered the previous year so that I could get my taxes done and search for another program. I've researched enough to know I was lucky to not move to Quicken Express as was once advised. Apparently that software doesn't allow an export in the event you would find a different software.
The good news is that I just upgraded to Mountain Lion. As you may know, Quicken in any version does not work with this OS. I've finally found a perfect reason staring me in the face to never struggle to use Quicken again. Now to find a better option. Money has many features that seem like what I need for handling 5 or 6 bank accounts and credit cards. Has anyone experienced SEE software? It too seems to have decent features.

Creating a gridlayout of jlabels and jbuttons in a JPanel

The assignment:

This assignment introduces the JPanel to me for the first time, I have not seen what the JDialog and JFrame are.

}After successfully compiling it when I try to run it there appears to be nothing to run. I've tried messing around with content panes but I'm not sure if I need to add one for this assignment at all.

Some suggestions:
1) First and foremost, read about JPanels, JApplets, and JFrames. None of the help you can get here will substitute for your applying yourself towards this, absolutely none, and judging by your code, you have your work cut out for you.
2) Don't have your JPanel initialize with an init method, that's what Applets and JApplets do. Instead have it initialize with a proper constructor.
3) I'm wondering if your "workaround" code belongs in the JApplet that contains the JPanel and not in the JPanel. It has nothing to do with the JPanel's mission. For instance, what if you later decide to place this panel into a JFrame?
4) Avoid "setSize", and if at all possible, use "setPreferredSize" instead. You are working with LayoutManagers who do the size setting. You are best served by suggesting the size to them.
5) Please ask specific questions. Just dumping your code without a question is considered quite rude here. We are all volunteers. If you want our free advice, you really should be considerate enough to make it easy for us to help you.

Finding database object_id in trace file

I have a trace file from my clustered database (from LMD process) that continually reports the following. How can I find out the associated object_id in the database to query dba_objects to find the culprit? I know the values here are reported in hex and I need to do the decimal conversion, but I am just not sure which value to use as every conversion I've tried yields no results from the dba_objects.object_id.....

Possible to save files in My Documents using JavaScript?

I have a customer who wants his users (service technicians) to be prompted to save a PDF form they fill out, print, and sign for their customers. It's easy to set the File>Save As action for the form button, but my customer wants to know if it's possible to always have the form saved to My Documents.
I've searched the form and haven't been able to find any discussion on this. I can't imagine how to do it, since My Documents is inside the user profile... but was wondering what people who actually know what they're talking about (as opposed to me, that is) might have to say.
If it is possible to do what my customer wants, can you point me to any existing code or reference sources?

But I have two problems with this...
The first is that I ran several Google site-searches and Adobe searches, but did not find any document*** named Acrobat JavaScript API Reference, even though it is also directly referenced in the Acrobat 9 help (listed there as JavaScript™ for Acrobat® API Reference, but I've searched using broader terms such as API reference and other combinations, and it simply did not come up).
I did find the companion "Developing Acrobat® Applications Using JavaScript". But it's overwhelming, and I don't know what chapter(s) contain the information I need to throw together a proper working script for what I need.
That's the other problem.
I do not know JavaScript. I know how to include it but not how to write it. Everywhere I look, the blanket response to newbie JavaScript questions is to dump the wad of documentation in the asker's lap, expecting them to sit down and read it "cover to cover." I now have a long-overdue project and I need help, fast. I don't have time to learn JavaScript from scratch! -- If I did, I wouldn't be asking these questions! I'd be figuring it out myself.
This is becoming very frustrating. Won't somebody please help me out, or tell me exactly what pieces of code I need to put in and where I need to put it? I can at least go look up the syntax, as long as I know what to look for.
EDIT: *** Now that I've written that, I ran the Adobe search tool again and found the PDF version, which is what I was looking for. The saveAs samples make no sense to me, and I keep trying to dig back through the documentation to figure out what the heck it's talking about. It's a quagmire. The documentation is barely understandable; it's very poorly worded, and every sentence is thick with unfamiliar concepts for a n00b -- and I'm a tech writer!

How many JRE versions necessary?

Hello!
Although, I did some programming 2 years ago, I recently have not done any programming at all. However, my "Java Update" program keeps downloading a new JRE every other month. So now I have plenty of JRE's:
jre1.5.0_03
jre1.5.0_06
jre1.5.0_09
jre1.5.0_10
jre1.5.0_11
jre1.6.0_01
jre1.6.0_02
jre1.6.0_03
Every new version takes an additional 80 MB. Is it really necessary to keep all those versions on my harddisk? That is, do websites or other programs definitely need any specific versions? Or can I delete any and if yes, which versions?
It is quite disappointing that 'Java Update' does not provide any hints to these questions and just dumps everything on the harddisk, especially because nowadays everybody (also grandparents) seems to have Java Update installed.

1)So what's your final advise? remove the bunch of JREs? or keep them to be sure? (your sentence contains a conflict: you say first that Cathadras is right -cathadras is saying that you can remove it without doubt- and in the remainder of that sentence you say that "versions have to be kept to ensure that applications that require a specific versions will continue to run without problems")
2)how can you change that an application must use another JRE? I have here for example several java programs that i have to start with an EXE file, and I really don't know how to change the JRE that came with it !!!! (after all, I think it's not the task of the customer to verify if an application works fine on the newest JRE)

Filing structure for iPhoto?

I just installed iPhoto 6 and noticed what appears to be two different filing systems that essentially doubles the size of the iPhoto storage. One set of folders looks like the ones in iPhoto 4, the other is labeled Originals, which are filed by roll number. My question: can I dump the iPhoto 4 file structure files to save space while keeping the structure called Originals?

I ended up having the stray year and month/day folders once my upgrading was done for iPhoto 6. I navigated through all the folders and they were empty for me. I deleted those folders in the Finder.During the upgrade I was I asked I wanted to import some recovered photos that weren't in the library and I said yes. My recovered folder ended up being photos that were already in iPhoto, so I deleted that recovered folder from within iPhoto also.
Here is how iPhoto 6 is supposed to be organized in the Finder.

As you can see the structure is now related to rolls. Rolls are created for each folder you import and each import session from a camera.
It is very easy to change the names of film rolls within iPhoto to make them easier to find images within. Open the info panel in iPhoto by clicking on the "i" icon. Once it is opened, click on the roll title in the viewing window.
Click on the word "title" in the info pane and type in your new title. I like to use a date and text format such as 12/25/05 Christmas at Mom's, 1/05/06 my birthday, etc. Once the roll names are changed within iPhoto, they are also changed within the Finder, making it easy to locate an image.
When importing from a camera, make sure you name the roll with a date and text before the import.

Customer master XD01 system gives RUNTIME Error

While creating customer master xd01 system takes 10-15 minutes and gives RUNTIME Error.
can anybody explain it why system behave like this i spoken with my BASIS & ABAPer guy they also dont know the solution

This is not an SD or even SCN question. Short dump is just a result of time out, but this transaction should not be taking so much time as to time out. There are tools available in SAP to diagnose and troubleshoot the performance. I'm not sure how could neither ABAPer nor Basis admin know about them - you might want to raise this with IT management.
It's something that has to be analyzed in your system locally, not posted on SCN.
