Two Tables Contol in One Dynpro.

Hi to all!!! This time i'm needing to put two tables Controls in one Dynpro. When i created the second table with the wizard i go trough all the steps but finally, no table control is created. A warning appeared on the first step. It says something about the loop of the TControls at the PBO.
what I am making bad? any suggestion?
If i can´t use two table controls i would need an alv in my dynpro...then it would be : a Table Control and an ALV in the same Dynpro.
is this posible with the custom control? how can i do this?

Create Table Control
Step 1 (Create new structure for table control)
Type is name of structure (ZTC_EKKO) and press create
Step 2 (Create Program)
Goto transaction SE80(Object Navigator) -> Repository Browser -> Program.
Enter your program name, please ensure that is begins with SAPMZ as this is a module pool (dialog program).
Press enter to create, and press yes!
Ensure that you create a top include, and press Enter.
Accept the name created for the top include.
Press Enter.
Press Save
Step 3 (Create TOP include)
Double click on the top include and enter following ABAP code:
Tables: ZTC_EKKO.
controls: tc100 type tableview using screen 100.
data: ok_code type sy-ucomm.
data: it_ekko type standard
table of ZTC_EKKO initial size 0,
wa_ekko type ZTC_EKKO.
data: ok_code type sy-ucomm.
Press Save and Activate
Step 4 (Create screen)
Right click the program to create a screen 100 for the dialog. Enter Short description, set screen type to Normal and enter 0 or blank into Next screen. Then move to Element List tab and enter the OK code as OK_CODE (i.e. the same as what you declared in the top include with data: ok_code type sy-ucomm).
Step 5 (Create table control)
Press the Layout button to bring up the screen painter editor.
Press table control button and drag it on to the screen, enter the name of table control created in TOP include (TC100). Now press the yellow button for attributes and set the table control as below options
Step 6 (Populate table control )
Press the orange button (Fields). On the next screen enter ZTC_EKKO and press the Get from Dict button. Select the fields you want (all) and press enter. Now drag them onto your Table Control.
Below is the result, there will been syntax errors if we check now! So Save and go back into the flow logic tab.
Step 7 (Create flow control )
Within the flow logic of screen 100 and create two modules, one to select the data from the database and the other to move the selected fields into the table control. Also insert the two loop statements to populate and retrieve the lines of the table control.

Question Concerning Usage of Table Controls

I currently have three screens. The first screen is the main screen and the other two screens are subscreens called from within the main screen. Inside each of the two subscreens, I have a separate table control. Each table control provides a display of specific data. I would like the first table control to be maintained by certain actions done in the second subscreen. At the moment, I do know that the internal table used for the first table control is being modified accordingly. The issue is the table control on the screen is not being modified based on the change reflected on the internal table. If I modify the internal table, the table control on the screen still reflects the old value.
Is what I am trying to do possible? Do I need to force an event in order for the table control to be modified or refreshed from the internal table? I have no issue in modifying the table control defined in the second subscreen. The table control on the first subscreen is the one where I have the issue with update.

If the PBO of the main screen is called..
THen table control in the first screen should be getting called also..
In the debugging check if the internal table is having the updated values before hitting the LOOP AT statement of the PBO of the first screen..

BAPI is not going through the screen flow logic so you need not to worry about the table control. Just check in the BAPi there must be one table parameter for line items just pass one int table with your data to that table parameter it will automatically update the tables.

Background processing is not possible using call transaction method.
You can create an executable program which can have CALL TRANSACTION BDC code. And this can be run in background.
What do you exactly mean by Error handling for Items in table control. Can you give some more details.

Mouse down event handling of table control in subvi

Hello Everyone.......
I have created a vi which has a table control and xy graph... the function of the vi is to plot the data of two particular column of table into xy-graph after user selects the data from table.... In this vi , I have used mouse down event for selecting data set so that the color of selected row get changed for user reference....... the vi is working fine.....
My problem is that this vi is a part of main vi.. and I want to use this vi as a subvi.... So, in my main vi I have a table control which is connected as input to the subvi... I come to know that I need to register event for triggering a event in a subvi.......
(1) How to register Mouse down event of table control which is on Main Vi to trigger mouse down event of table in subvi.... Another Important thing is... how to link every property of table control of subvi to the table control of main vi... so it just act as single control adapting every property like when user selects a particular row its color changes in subvi....so it should be reflected even if user selects a row in main vi... I mean table control of main vi and subvi should be a single control...is it possible?

See the modified version of the VI. I use the 'Point to Row Column' method to get the cell that was clicked on - your method also worked using 'Selection Start' but I thought I'd show you an alternative.
I've used a single event structure to update two table controls - the point is that if you have the references to the controls you can update the control from anywhere. You can also 'register for events' to allow you to register for events from a different VI (again, using the references) that doesn't have the control on the front panel.
Couple of things about your VI:
You don't need to put a wait node if you have a timeout on your event structure.
You don't need the for loop for the columns/rows - if you look at the help for the 'Active Cell' property you can use a value of -2 for the row/column to select all cells in the row/column.

LSMW will have a Indicator for headr and itam, i do not remember the correct field, but it will have an indicator, check the fields, there will be a single charecter lenght field, that should be the indicator, and using that we can write the logic.
check that single charecter field, it that is X that means the header record is processed, and do the items.
and, this is another way, try this out also
YOu can do this in "Define Source Structures" step,
the HEADER is defined first,
then the DETAIL below the HEADER.
add the fields to the structures.
Both should have some common key field
Please take care that the name of the common field is the same.
Once you do this it is linked. The you have a header and item corresponding to that header. then run the LSMW as you would.

I am having a requriement where in I need to create a custom infotype using table control in the screen. I have to create this in OM and I am using PPCI transaction to create the info type. I am able to create the infotype with fields but not table control. Please let me know if any one of you came across and help me with the process I need to follow.

Hello,
After you create the info type throug PPCi, you can directly go to the Sceen module program created automatically while creating Info type and edit the screen.
activate it after your changes.

i have requirement to add new column in item table control of va01 screen 4900 for the custome field of vbap table
the required coloum is add with the help of access key
however whem i am trying to save data, that custom field is not populate
please let me know if any one had work on this

I think i solved the problem . The single way to to that is to modify the SAP standard Screen.

Two table views in single screen

Hi,
are we able to put two Table views in one UI window?
My requirement is if i click on one cell on 1st table view then 2nd table view cell's in the same UI window has to be updated with required values.
is that possible?

Need Table Control in Selection Screen

I have a selection screen with some fields. Now, below these fields, I need a table control in which i will have input parameter along with some check boxes so that i can enter data and use the same while executing the report.
paste the code for the requirement how to add a table control on the selection screen.

Till now, i have been able to display table control on selection screen. but, how to write or display the output or how to call the output screen. i have to display alv output.

I want to hide the table control.Using "loop at screen" I am able to hide all other components except table control.
Can anyone tell me how to hide table control in a screen?

In the PBO (in a module outside to the LOOP...ENDLOOP), use this
MODULE status_0100 OUTPUT.
IF sy-ucomm EQ space.   "Give the function code on which you want to make your table control go invisible
                                          "Give a space if you want your table control to remail invisible on display of the screen
    CLEAR: t_header[].
    LOOP AT tabcontrol1-cols[] INTO wa_control1.
      wa_control1-invisible = '1'.
      MODIFY tabcontrol1-cols[] FROM wa_control1 INDEX sy-tabix.
    ENDLOOP.
ENDMODULE.
