Two Tables Contol in One Dynpro.

Hi to all!!! This time i'm needing to put two tables Controls in one Dynpro. When i created the second table with the wizard i go trough all the steps but finally, no table control is created. A warning appeared on the first step. It says something about the loop of the TControls at the PBO.
what I am making bad? any suggestion?
If i can´t use two table controls i would need an alv in my dynpro...then it would be : a Table Control and an ALV in the same Dynpro.
is this posible with the custom control? how can i do this?

check that u have unticked the READ ONLY property of ur UI
also check if u have binded the ENABLE property of ur table UI to WDY_BOOLEAN in some method
and u r setting it to 'X'
in the OnToggle event of ur Checkbox , set this attribute to 'X to make the checkbox ticked

 I created two tables in a screen such that both the table fields are of Input fields type .I created first table which will
accept the inputs and below it I created another Table which is also of Input field type.But when I execute the component I am getting only first Table in Input mode and the other Table is in Disable mode.

Hi Wei Fang,
You can try by creating a 2 line template (1 Template, 2 linetype) under a loop note.
So your smartform tree structure will be shown like this:
LOOP
TEMPLATE1.
On the LOOP part, pass the internal table of your data to the working areas.
On the template put all the data of the summary on your first linetype, and put
the detail data on your second linetype.
Good luck and hopefully this will solve the problem

hey....i got the solution for this problem....i followed the same procedure of getting external data to MS ACCESS.After migrating all teh 6 sheets data into 6 different tables,I used the same technique to append the data into 1 single table..it worked....Thank you......

SLT - Splitting one source table into two tables in the destination

I am wondering if we can split content of one source table into two different tables in the destination (HANA DB in my case) with SLT based on the codified mapping rules?
We have the VBAK table in ERP which has the header information about various business objects (quote, sales order, invoice, outbound delivery to name a few). I want this to be replicated into tables specific to business object (like VBAK_QUOT, VBAK_SO, VBAK_INV, etc) based on document type column.
There is one way to do it as far as i know - have multiple configurations and replicate to different schema. But we might have to be content with 4 different config at the max.
Any help here will be highly appreciated

You should always fetch a cursor before using it's values. All columns in the select should be fetched into variables or a record-variable. You can't refer to the cursor-columns values with c1.seq etc.

It is also better to close the cursor and check if the select resulted in a row. With this code you will only retrieve one row even if the select will result in multiple rows.
But I agree with all the others that this can probably be done more efficiently with one SQL statement.

Two table views in single screen

are we able to put two Table views in one UI window?
My requirement is if i click on one cell on 1st table view then 2nd table view cell's in the same UI window has to be updated with required values.
is that possible?

How to print two tables adjacent to each other?

Scenario
I have a form with a body page and two tables. The property of the body page is set to 'Flowed', 'top to bottom' as flow direction and the check box for page break is set.
Requirement
The two tables need to be printed adjacent to each other.
Approach followed until now
1. Since the body page is 'Flowed' type, the two tables are placed one below the other (Tab1 & Tab2). So I tried to set the Flow direction of the Body page to 'Western text'. But this did not solve the issue as since it is set to 'western text', only after Tab1 is rendered, table Tab2 starts printing itself, which is not desired. Both the tables should be printed at the same time.
2. I wrapped both the tables in one sub form with 'Type' set to 'Positioned' and set the check box for page break. Now I arranged the tables adjacent to each other. But the check box for page break for both the tables were disabled and because of this if there is not enough space to print the total records of both the tables, the complete tables is shifted to another page leaving the previous page blank.
Kindly suggest how to resolve this issue.

I tried as per you suggestion and it works fine. Thanks a lot.
Now adding to this, I am trying to print the 'formatted text'. The tables have two columns. the first column is a normal field and the second column is table having the 'formatted text'.
As per your suggestion, I concatenated the two tables in one table. So the final table has 2 normal fields and 2 tables.
Final table structure:
Column1 Column2(Table) Blank Column3 Column4(Table)
Settings maintained:
I have set the 'Body' row of the table to 'Flowed' with direction as 'Western text' (Top to bottom does not help ).
The settings for Column 2 & 4 (tables) are maintained as:
1. The Table is set to 'Flowed' with direction 'Top to Bottom'.
2. The body row is 'Flowed' with direction 'Western Text'
(The Border 'Edges' for the tables, columns is maintained as 'None')
Issue:
The sample data has around 10 entries in the (final) table. When I try to print the form, if column2(table) is initial, the data in Column3 and 4 are shifted towards Left hand side.
Kindly suggest how to resolve this issue.

While trying to join two tables by draging one column onto a column of another table in a graph pane, an error dialog with the following message appears:
"Drag and drop failed. Please drag a column from one table in the graph onto a column of another table in the graph pane. If you are trying to create a self join, please create another instance of the table and adding same table to the graph pane."
How do join two tables in the query editor graphically?

I also have the same problem. I use MySQL. I do not have any foreign keys in my tables. If I try to create table joins graphically myself I get the following error:

When I type SQL query(similar to the following) in the in the query editor it dosent work: (As a result same row is appearing more than one time when I test the application)

In the above Mayagiri suggested a turorial using Pointbase and tables with foreign keys which is not directly connected with problem.(Beacuse it seems no problems in Pointbase tables with foreign keys)

How to avoid Duplicate Records while joining two tables

I am trying to join three tables, basically two tables are same one is like history table, so I wrote a query like

but this returing duplicate records.
Could anyone please tell me how to avoid duplicate records of this query.

Actually it is like if the record is processed it will be moved to hist table, so both table will not have same records and I need the record from both the tables so i have done the union of both the tables, so d will have the union of both records.
But I am getting duplicate records if even I am distinct.

T_Amt Varchar2(50);
T_Cat Varchar2(50);
Actually, Here I have taken all the columns from table 'T' having numeric data.
Now I have another table 'M'(Destination Table) with columns
M_Lat number;
M_AMt number;

Now my task is I have to do a prevalidation of the data in 'T' that whether all the data in those columns will suit for the destination table columns respectively (to check whether there is any format mismatch). This check should be done dynamically.
Note:- There is no unique mapping column for these two tables

I am trying to develop a query in MS Access 2010 to join two tables using three joins, one of which is a (between) date range. The tables are contained in Access. The reason

Thank you for the looking at the post. The actual table names are rather ambiguous. I renamed them so it would make more sense. I will explain more and give the actual names. What I do not have is the actual data in the table. That is something I don't have
on this computer. There are no "Null" fields in either of the tables.
This table has many orders (MSORDER) that need to match one order (GLORDER) in GLORDR. This is based on MSPART joined to GLPART, MSSERIAL joined to GLSERIAL, and MSOPNDATE joined if it falls between GLSTARTDATE and GLENDDATE.
