Queue configuration for Particular Idoc

Hi Expert,
We have the requirement where in SA related outbound idoc(DESADV) should go in a particular Queue in other words (Queue sequencing).
Through Queue rules WE85 i can do it & in partner profile i need to assign the rule for that Idoc.
Function module :IDOC_QUEUE_NAME_MESTYP creates the queue names from part of the logical message type name.
Has anybody done it in their project?
How do i go about? In PI what all configuration i need to do so that this Queue will be mapped thier and in SNC system Inbound Queue will be of that particualr Queue.
In Function module IDOC_QUEUE_NAME_MESTYP what all code i need to write so that particular Queue (XBTR*) should get executed for Idoc DESADV.
If any thread is avaialble please provide the link

shailesh

Also Kcr, pls check this.
Assumin your instance number is 00
ABAP Port : 8000
JAVA Port: 50000
What is to be undwerstand here is the role of your port here, if you want to acess any Xi component residing on the Java stacj you will use 50000, since SLD and rwd are on the java stack you cannot have different port to acess them.
similary for ABAP Stack 8000 is used.....
inaddition to this you will also have the trfc Port for IDOC communication port,
you can check the abap port by SMICMgotoservices......
kindly reward if found helpful.

  • ALE configuration for Outbound Idoc - Help me

    Hi Experts,
    I am newbee in SAP and XI. I was trying to send MATMAS Idoc from R3 and i was running into some issues. So i would appreciate if someone can help me.
    I am using following link as reference. /people/swaroopa.vishwanath/blog/2007/01/22/ale-configuration-for-pushing-idocs-from-sap-to-xi
    I did all the steps mentioned in the above link ( Creating Logical Systems, Assigning Client and RFC destnations, Creating distribution models ..... etc)
    and then everything went well and i saw success messags in all the steps.
    I used BD10 to send material and it went well. But when i check TRFC queue, i see some error messages; "<i><b>No service for system SAPRDI, client 800 in Integrion Directory</b></i>"
    And all the messages are hanging in the TRFC queue.
    Note: I havent configured anything in XI yet. I wanted to make sure IDoc gets to XI client first.
    Thank you in advance. Pls help me its very urgent.
    Thanks,
    Surya

    I created RFC destination (SM59) and Port (IDX1)
    Then i sent another material (BD10)  and checked tRFC queue. i found bunch of error in the Queue.
    <b>1.connection to host 10.4.23.120, service sapgw00 timed out / CPI-C error C
    No service for system SAPRDI, client 800 in Integration Directory
    partner not reached (host 10.16.176.29, service sapgw00) / CPI-C error CM
    connection to host 10.16.136.127, service sapgw58 timed out / CPI-C error</b>
    Note: i have noticed entries for R3 in SLD as below
                      System Name:  <b>RDI </b>  ( not <b>SAPRDI</b> as mentioned in the error message)
                      System Home:  r3ides
    That might be reason. If so, how to change it in R3 box? Any suggestions?
    Please send me if you guys have any links or docs to address this issue.
    Thanks,
    Surya

  • Configurations for Receiver IDoc adapter??

    Hi,
    I have a File-to-Idoc scenario. In the Reciever Idoc adapter configuraiton, we have to provide: 1) RFC destination and 2)Port. Where do we define the RFC destination and Port? Do we have to do any any configuration in R/3 in we20 and we21?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Karma

    <i>1) RFC destination and 2)Port. Where do we define the RFC destination and Port?</i>
    >>These are defined on XI server in IDX1 tcode.
    >>Port is SAP<XXX>, <XXX> = SID of R/3 receiver system
    >>RFC destination is the one u mention in this port definition.
    >>First define the RFC destination in SM59 of XI Server.
    >>U need not do anything in IDX2.
    Do we have to do any any configuration in R/3 in we20 and we21?
    Yes.
    In WE20 of R/3, u have define the partner profile for XI server with the IDoc as inbound parameter.
    In WE21 port for connecting to XI server. Here also u have to mention the RFC destination, which has to be defined in SM59.
    Good luck.
    -Naveen.

  • Workflow configuration for inbound IDOC

    Hi,
    i have designed a workflow for handling the errored idoc's.
    workflow is triggering fine when i reprocess the idocs through the WE19.
    but it is not triggering online...means  the event inputerroroccured is not triggering whenever an idoc comes to sap system with error.
    I searched the forum a  lot to get the answer . i got the answer to to do the config in WE42 .and i went through aravind nagapal book to solve this.But i didn't get exact answer .
    Please can any one help me in getting the solution to this problem.
    regards
    paveee.

    Hi Praveen,
    you try to start the workflow via event inputerroroccured.
    You state that the event is triggered if you create a new IDOC via WE19.
    - Have you switched on SWELS to be able to check it in SWEL?
    - Have you check there is an event in TBD52 for your object?
    - Runs your IDOc in immediate or background?
    Ideally, for a processes code, whenever the idoc processing runs into error, the event specified in the transaction we42 (table tbd52) is raised. Can you please place a breakpoint in function module idoc_input_s1quotes_sd at statement
    "IF i_edids IS INITIAL.". Thereafter reprocess the idoc for which the
    event was not raised, and check if the workflow result is set to '99999'
    when processing exits this function module. Please let me know what the
    result of the above test is.
    Regards
    Tibor

  • Which all configurations you need to do in R/3 for an Idoc to file scenario

    which all configurations you need to do in R/3 for an Idoc to file scenario?
    Rgds
    Ruchitha

    Hi ruchitha thakur  ,
    A Summary of the Steps to be carried out to enable a SAP R/3 System send Idocs to SAP Exchange Infrastructure.
    First - Maintain the Sender R/3 System:
    SM59 : Create a RFC destination to XI
    WE21 : Create a TRFC Port ->Specify the RFC Destination Created
    BD54 : Create a Logical System for the Idoc Receiver
    WE20 : Create Partner Profile ->Maintain Outbound and the Inbound Parameters
    Second - Log on to XI System:
    SM59 : RFC Destination for Sender System
    IDX1 : Create the port to get Idoc Metadata from Sender System ( The Port Name must match the port name in the idoc header - Usually in format SAP<System ID>. eg. SAPID1 [Optional Step. Not mandatory]
    IDX2 : Maintain the Idoc Metadata. This is needed only by XI, and not by other SAP systems. IDX2 is needed because XI needs to construct IDoc-XML from the IDoc. No other SAP system needs to do that.
    To Enable Acknowledgement:
    SXMB_ADM ->Integration Engine Configuration ->Specific Configuration ->Add New entry -> Select parameters as:
    Category: RUNTIME
    Parameters: ACK_SYSTEM_FAILURE
    Current Value: 1
    GO TO SLD:
    Create Technical System: Choose WEB AS ABAP if the system is R/3 -> Define SAP SID, Installation Number and Database Host Name a Maintain message Server Details according to Sender System -> Maintain Client Details of Sender System ->Select a Installed Product for Sender System
    Create Business System: Choose WEB AS ABAP if the system is R/3 -> Choose the Technical System and the client Created Before -> Choose the Installed Product -> Set:
    Business System Role: Application System
    Related Integration Server: Integration Server
    Integration Builder
    Integration Directory:
    Add Business System:  Adapter Specific Identifiers -> 'Logical System' identical to the 'Logical System Name' in the SLD Business System
    IDoc Receiver Communication Channel: port the same as XI System IDX1

  • How to configure queues for sending IDOCs from XI in the same order receive

    Hi,
       We are collecting IDOCs and sending them to XI using a background job (RSEOUT00) from R/3. When XI receiving these collected IDOCs, it's forwarding the received IDOCs into different queues for processing them and sending them to receiver system. Some times some queues are taking longer time to process the received IDOC and in the mean time the latest IDOC received getting processed and sent to receiver system. When the information related to this old IDOC is sent out to receiver system after the latest IDOC information is  sent to due to delay in Queue processing, we are getting errors in the receiver system. Can somebody explain the steps to configure queues to process the IDOCs in the same order they received from R/3.

    Hi,
    Why not tunnel all the IDOCs to one queue for processing ?
    Cheers
    Colin.

    Hi Michal,
    I know that it is the old thread but still want to get clarified from you out of curiosity.
    Unlike other IDOC, i actiavated change pointers for LOIPRO
    1.message and idoc type is linked
    2.function module , message type , idoc type is linked
    function module used is CLOI_MASTERIDOC_CREATE_LOIPRO
    3.BD64, distribution model is created and distributed
    4. port and partner profile is in place.
    5. IDOC is not getting generated after creating the process order.
    do we need to activate the change documents for the message type in BD52,
    if yes can you please provide the object types for the same.
    or i am missing something else. please guide me in this regards.
    Thanks in advance for your time.

  • How to Configure logical path and how to retrieve physical path for an IDOC

    Hi ,
    I want to configure logical path for an IDOC,
    and then I need to retrieve Physical path from this logical path
    using a FM (eg. FILE_GET_NAME).
    How to configure the logical path for an idoc ?
    Regards ,
    Harshit Rungta

    Using Logical Files in ABAP Programs
    To create a physical file name from a logical file name in your ABAP programs, use the function module FILE_GET_NAME. To insert the function module call in your program, choose Edit ® Insert statement from the ABAP Editor screen. A dialog box appears. Select Call Function and enter FILE_GET_NAME. The parameters of this function module are listed below.
    Import parameters
    Parameters
    Function
    CLIENT
    The maintenance tables for the logical files and paths are client-dependent. Therefore, the desired client can be imported. The current client is stored in the system field SY-MANDT.
    LOGICAL_FILENAME
    Enter the logical file name in upper case letters that you want to convert.
    OPERATING_SYSTEM
    You can import any operating system that is contained in the list in Transaction SF04 (see Assigning Operating Systems to Syntax Groups). The physical file name will be created according to the syntax group to which the operating system is linked. The default parameter is the value of the system field
    SY-OPSYS.
    PARAMETER_1
    PARAMETER_2
    If you specify these import parameters, the reserved words  in the physical path names will be replaced by the imported values.
    USE_PRESENTATION
    _SERVER
    With this flag you can decide whether to import the operating system of the presentation server instead of the operating system imported by the parameter OPERATING_SYSTEM.
    WITH_FILE_EXTENSION
    If you set this flag unequal to SPACE, the file format defined for the logical file name is appended to the physical file name.
    Export Parameters
    Parameters
    Function
    EMERGENCY_FLAG
    If this parameter is unequal to SPACE, no physical name is defined in the logical path. An emergency physical name was created from table FILENAME and profile parameter DIR_GLOBAL.
    FILE_FORMAT
    This parameter is the file format defined for the logical file name. You can use this parameter, for example, to decide in which mode the file should be opened.
    FILE_NAME
    This parameter is the physical file name that you can use with the ABAP statements for working with files.
    Exception Parameters
    Parameters
    Function
    FILE_NOT_FOUND
    This exception is raised if the logical file is not defined.
    OTHERS
    This exception is raised if other errors occur.
    Suppose the logical file MYTEMP and the logical path TMP_SUB are defined as in the preceding topics and we have the following program:
    DATA: FLAG,
          FORMAT(3),
          FNAME(60).
    WRITE SY-OPSYS.
    CALL FUNCTION 'FILE_GET_NAME'
         EXPORTING
              LOGICAL_FILENAME        = 'MYTEMP'
              OPERATING_SYSTEM        = SY-OPSYS
              PARAMETER_1             = '01'
         IMPORTING
              EMERGENCY_FLAG          = FLAG
              FILE_FORMAT             = FORMAT
              FILE_NAME               = FNAME
         EXCEPTIONS
              FILE_NOT_FOUND          = 1
              OTHERS                  = 2.
    IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
      WRITE: /  'Flag      :', FLAG,
             / 'Format    :', FORMAT,
             / 'Phys. Name:', FNAME.
    ENDIF.
    The output appears as follows:
    HP-UX
    FLAG :
    FORMAT : BIN
    Phys. Name: /tmp/TEST01
    In this example, the R/3 System is running under the operating system HP-UX, which is member of the syntax group UNIX. The logical file name MYTEMP with the logical path TMP_SUB is converted into a physical file name /tmp/TEST01 as defined for the syntax group UNIX. The field FNAME can be used in the further flow of the program to work with file TEST01 in directory /tmp.
    Suppose we have a logical file name EMPTY with the physical file name TEST, connected to a logical path that has no specification of a physical path. If you replace the EXPORTING parameter 'MYTEMP' with 'EMPTY' in the above example, the output appears as follows:
    HP-UX
    FLAG : X
    FORMAT :
    Phys. Name: /usr/sap/S11/SYS/global/TEST
    The system created an emergency file name, whose path depends on the installation of the current R/3 System.

  • Configuration for JMS Adapter Sensor action and JMS Queue sensor action..!!

    Hi,
    Id like my BPEL process to send an XML message to JMS on Websphere,I was able to do this through a JMS adapter.But I would more like to add sensors into my process which would really do the same thing - send an XML message to JMS Q.
    Now I understand that there are two ways to do this,JMS Queue and JMS Adapter - thorugh bpel sensor action.
    I am able to use JMS Queue and it works fine , but adds its own xml tags to the message,Is there any way I could send only my xml payload as a message to the queue??
    Also could any1 tell me what is the configuration for JMS Adapter sensor action?
    Any suggestions how do I go about it??

    Hey Anirudh,
    Thanx for the response :-)
    All these hold good when I have an AQ adaptor right,But the thing is I want to send a message to a 'JMS' queue with out actually using an adapter configuration wizard and everythng..So I resolved to JMS queue Sensor action..Heres the xml snippet from the sensorAction.xml files which is generated..
    <actions targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Test_JMS_Logging" xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/sensor" xmlns:tns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Test_JMS_Logging" xmlns:pc="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/sensor">
    <action name="JMS_LogEntry" publishName="" publishType="JMSQueue" enabled="true" filter="" publishTarget="jms/L_Queue">
    <property name="JMSConnectionFactory">jms/L_QueueCF</property>
    <sensorName>ActivitySensor_JMS</sensorName>
    </action>
    </actions>
    This works grt and adds messages to the queue..But adds its own header info according to the sensor.xsd loacted at the Oracle_home\bpel\system\xmllib\ folder.
    Right now the XML message added to the Queue is:-
    <actionData xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/sensor">

    My requirement is that I need to add a sensor to the BPEL process which posts 'Only my payload message to the JMS queue'..
    What I would want the message in the Queue to be is : -
    <data>
    <ns0:LCName xmlns:ns0="LC_Test1http://www.ulrhome.com/2008/10/L_Entry">LC_Test1</ns0:LCName>
    </data>
    Also while creating a Sensor action I get another option as JMS Adaptor,I am not sure of what value to type in this wizard..Heres what I keyed in..M sure this is not right..Cos it dosnt work :-)
    <action name="SensorAction_JMS" publishName="" publishType="JMSAdapter" enabled="true" filter="" publishTarget="jms/LoggingQueue">
    <property name="JMSConnectionName">Log</property>
    </action>
    </actions>
    Could any 1 tel me what values are the right values..And does JMS Adapter mean that I have to create a JMS Apator in the project and give that connection name as a Value..
    I am not finding sufficiant Documentation for 'JMS Adapter' so M clueless and right now any help will be appriciated :-)

  • IDoc Adapter configuration for very high volumes

    Hi PI Expert,
    I'd like to have some tips about Idoc Adapter configuration in case of very very hudge volumes in "file to Idoc scenario" (adressing ECC) : How to optimize Idoc transmission time PI -> ECC ?
    => parallelization PI -> ECC by using differents comm channel IDocs with differents RFC destinations ?.
    => some other technical parameters in adapter IDoc
    => ...
    Thanks a lot
