Queues block because of mapping Exception

Hi guys,
I have a scenario in PI 7.0 that makes use of BPM and creates and posts 3 Idocs that are posted to R/3 subsequently. However, when mapping fails in first step of BPM because of an exception, then all subsequent entries in the same queue, are blocked inside the queue.
Do you have any idea how this could be avoided.
My preference would be to have the mapping failing in XI and from SXMB_MONI_BPE to be able to restart all failed BPM's and have all subsequent BPM's successfully executed even if the first one fails.

  • Handling Java Mapping Exception in BPM Transformation step

    Dear SDN members,
I have developed a File to File scenario using BPM as follows.
    Step 1:
Sender file adapter picks the file from FTP server and using file content conversion mapped to XML structure.
    Step 2:
BPM will recieve the XML payload , immediately in the block a transformation step is called with an interface mapping. In the interface mapping a Java mapping will be executed with certain data validations on the XML payload. If found any invalid data is there a suitable excptions will be raised . Here the transformation step should be catch the error and control should be sent to exception block to place the recived file as a error file.
else if the transformation is executed with out any issues, the file will be placed in success folder.
But in the transformation step, though java mapping thorwing exceptions, the control not going into exception block, instead it is continuing to next step i.e the file is placing in the success folder.
Can anybody tell me, how to handle the exceptions raised in java mapping in the BPM transformation step?
I have refered all the SDN blogs, forums related to this issue, but could not able to find the answer. Please help me?
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Abhishek,
Once the file is picked from FTP server then sent to BPM,
    the BPM steps
    Step1:
    -->Recive
    Step 2:
    Block Starts
       ---Block Start: New Transaction
       ---Block End : New Transaction
       ---Exception : Error
    Step 3
    Inside the Block
    Transformation Step
       --Interface Mapping: <IM Name>
-- Check box ticked for Create New Transcation
       -- Exceptions
          --System Error: Error
--Source Message: Message recieved in Recieve Step (Step 1)
    Step 4:
      --Send
--Source Maessage: Output message from the Transformation Step
    Block End
Inserted a Exception Branch for Block
    Steps inside Exception Branch
      -Control
        --Throw Alert
       --Alert Name
    In the above scenario
The transformation step is not throwing error even my interface mapping going to error. The same transformation step if i place outside the block next to recieve step, then the transformation step is throwing error and BPM stops the process.
Also, when transformation is inside the block, i have used the exception handling on the send step inside the block. here it is throwing error as the source message payload is empty. because in the preceding transformation step the interface mapping is failed due to which there the target will not be filled. But even though it is not entered into exception block.

  • Word couldn't send mail because of MAPI failure, Unspecified error.

This issue is crossposted in Microsoft Answers Word and OUTLOOK.  I am posting here in hopes that someone at Mircrosoft may have a solution or at least elevate the issue to someone who does.
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/officeversion_other-word/word-could-not-send-mail-because-of-mapi-failure/f62678fe-ef1d-42b5-8cfe-1e43d6a1d609
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2013_release-outlook/word-couldnt-send-mail-due-to-mapi-failure/1f03cf74-9258-411b-9e2b-e41cb5006d71
I dabble with VBA and write and maintain several amateur Word Add-Ins.  Accordingly, I have Word 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013 installed on my PC.  They get along fine.  However, I am unable to "Share" or "Send" an open Word
document as an E-mail attachment in any version!  In each case Word returns an error mesage "Word couldn't send mail because of a MAPI failure, Unspecified error (the same issue occurs with Excel and Powerpoint except the error dialog is a bit different.)
Using Word 2003, I (CAN) "Send to (Mail recipient for review)" in which case OUTLOOK is opened with the document as an attachment.  I can also "Send to Mail Recipient" from Windows Explorer, in which case the Word file is attached to
an OUTLOOK message, and I can create an instance of OUTLOOK and send mail from Word using VBA.
I have repaired all Office versions.  I have removed the registry keys for all office versions and repaired all versions again.  I have run "fixmapi" until I am blue in the face. I have renamed the MAPI32.DLL files and ran sfc \scannow
to ensure that the MAPI32.DLL file is not corrupt.  In view of these actions and in view of what I can do, something tells me that the MAPI files are fine.
So what is this "Unspecified error?"  This problem is rife on the internet and most of the "canned" solutions have been marked "Answered" by some MS support engineer.  These "canned" solutions might have
fixed the issue at one point, but they don't work now.  At least not for me.
    Thanks.
Greg Maxey Please visit my website at: http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tips.htm

    Hello Greg,
I noted that there are 2 knowledge articles that describe scenarios where you may encounter this error.
KB 291152 You receive a "Word couldn't send mail because of MAPI failure" error message when you try to send a Word document as an e-mail attachment in Word 2002
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291152/EN-US
KB 929362 You cannot send a file by clicking Send in a different program when Outlook 2007 is running as administrator
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929362/EN-US
Please let me know the following:
    1. What version of Outlook are you using?
    2. Do you have Outlook open when you attempt the File > Share > Email as attachment from Word? If not, does the error occur if you open Outlook, open Word and then try to send the email?
    3. If you close/reopen Word and then try the send again, do you get the same error?
    4. Are you running either Outlook or Word in an elevated mode?
    5. What happens if you start both Outlook and Word as "Run As Administrator". You may have to right-click each applications' .exe file to be able to choose the "Run As Administrator" option.
    6. Do you get the same error when using File > Share > Email as attachment using Excel?
    7. In Internet Explorer, open the Internet Options. On the General tab within the browsing history, delete your temporary Internet files and website files
    8. Does the issue occur in selective startup mode?
Steps to setup selective startup mode:
Click on the Windows Start button, in the Search box type msconfig and then hit enter. This should open up the System Configuration Utility. Make the following adjustments within each tab.
    Services Tab:
      - Check the option 'Hide All Microsoft Services'
     - Click on button 'Disable All'
    Startup Tab:
     - Click the button 'Disable All'
     - Go back through the list and enable any Microsoft items
Click Ok. It will say “You must restart your computer for some of the changes
made by System Configuration to take effect”. Hit the ‘Restart’ button.
When the PC reboots try to run your test again.
To return back to a normal boot launch msconfig again and choose 'normal startup' on the general tab, click Ok and then reboot the PC.

  • Mapping exception error in MM-SUS interface

    Hi..
I am doing MM-SUS Standard Interfaces, when we are sending the Goods Receipt from R/3 to SUS it is throwing the mapping exception eror. yesterday it was working fine.
Today its not working , I have not made any changes.
it is throwing error in SXMB_MONI. i.e

Pls suggest me , how can i resolve this error.
    Regards,
    Pasi.

can you please check with the data which was sent yesterday and run the interface , if it is working then i guess in the latest data u are getting the queue values with the more occurance, thats why u r getting this error.
may be u r getting more ID values in ServiceAcknowledgement Node where ID element would be having less occurance.

Either or both of the following third-party system modifications may be contributing to your problem:
    FxFactory
    CUDA
I suggest you uninstall them, one at a time, according to the developers' instructions, to see whether you can identify which is at fault. Reboot after uninstalling CUDA.
Back up all data before making any changes.

  • Display queue in th emessage mapping

    Hi SapAll.
i just want to know about the proper reason on why the pi developers do the display queue in the message mapping programs of every interface that they develope.if so how we can do the proper display queue,as it is displaying in irregular format  when i click on display queue especially after testing with the sample xsd under test tab.
will be waiitng for a proper answer .
    regards.
    Varma.

    HI verma,
With display Queue u can actually check for:
    1) the values present for the source fileds
    2) If any functions used in the mapping, then u can display what r the inputs to that function and what is the output of that function.
Ex: If u use remove context function to map the fileds, then by displaying the Queue of target filed, u can easilly see the context changes.
Display the Queues of sorce and target fileds. u can easilly find the difference.
If u use split by value, then u can see the extra context changes for the target field.
    3) Where exactky the mapping is throwing exception (at what field) i.e., if u right click on any field and if u click display Queue,: if the queue is displayed then at that point the mapping is working fine, but if it has error  then by selecting display queue it throws the exception there itself. Hence we can make sure that the mapping is failing at that particular fleld.
    Thanks,
    shabbir.

  • CMDTUX_CAT:1380: ERROR: Message queue blocking prevented delivery

Today, I changed a Tuxedo application (server) to the product systems(One master and two slaves). Only a small changes in code. But after a period of running, there are many errors in ULOG:
CMDTUX_CAT:1380: ERROR: Message queue blocking prevented delivery, Qaddr = 583902
And then, the server is died. After restart the server, this will happen again later.
I don't know why this happens? Thx.

    Hi Bill,
This is happening because the BRIDGE process received a message from the network and was unable to place the message on the intended IPC queue. This could be because the server handling that message is backed up, or the system IPC resource settings are too low. Please check the recommended actions in:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E18050_01/tuxedo/docs11gr1/messages/cdtux/cdtux013.html

  • .SysMachineMsgq: message queue blocking

    Hi,
I am getting the following error message:
064222.hostname!TMSYSEVT.14351.3071440608.0: WARN: .SysMachineMsgq: hostname message queue blocking
Is there anyway to pinpoint exactly which application and or which service is causing the blocking?
    Thank you,
    Ivan

    Ivan,
You can look in the userlog for a "LIBTUX_CAT:672 ERROR: Message operation
failed because the message queue or the system is full" message. That will
tell you the process in which the msgsnd() failed, although it will not tell
you the specific queue that was full. If the queue full condition is not
something transient, you can use the "ipcs -q -a" command to examine the
number of bytes currently on each queue on the machine.
If you need to automate the process of searching the ULOG, the T_ULOG class
    in TM_MIB(5) can be used.
The event message for the SysMachineMsgq event deliberatly contains very few
details, since the process where msgsnd() failed uses a message to inform
the event server of the failure and if a message queue is full, then there
might be a problem with sending a large message to the TMSYSEVT server.
(There is a check to prevent looping if the message send to TMSYSEVT fails.)

  • Query regarding Queue block

    Hi Experts,
The BASIS team has configured the CCMS alert for XBTI* and XBTO* queues in development system.
Hence we need to test the same.
    Possibilities tried:
    1. Huge payload
    2. Stop and start of BPE this blocks the XBQ which is not needed as of now
    3. Deregistering the specific queues. The queus is set to ready state until we register the same. Once registered the queue block is cleared. Hence this option is not helpful.
Kindly let us know the various ways to block the queues in PI.
    Thanks
    Suganya.

    Hi,
If you have any interfaces using EOIO queues then try failing the same at mapping level and check...
Another option is try failing the interface at mapping level by sending some invalid data for normal interfaces (EO) only and check...but in this case runtime may not block the queues all the times only few times and few circumstances it will block the queues...

The HELO/EHLO domain that your Cisco IronPort Email Security Appliance (ESA) uses is based on the hostname you configure for your delivery interface under Network -> IP Interfaces.  Please ensure that a valid hostname is configured.  This hostname should match the rDNS records for the public IP address used by your ESA.
Once addressed - you should be able to take the domain in question, and attempt to telnet port 25, and attempt the standard SMTP testing...

When I try to download the latest version of iTunes from apple.com, I get the message "Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate."When I open iTunes and try to download the latest version there, I get the message "iTunes has an invalid signature.  The download has been removed."  I have also gotten an Internet Script Error stating that an error has occured in Line 0, Char O and that "Access is denied to images.apple.com/global/scripts/lib/iepngfix.htc."  This problem has never occurred with earlier versions of ITunes.  Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Are you downloading iTunes form an Apple website or somewhere else? If the answer is somewhere else, try downloading it from Apple. Click on iTunes in the black menu bar above and go from there.

Hi, I have an iPhone 1 that is blocked (because of wrong passwords) and isn't recognized by iTunes. How do I fix this? Thanks for your help!
By the way I'm using a MacMini and all operating systems are up to date including iTunes.

First try a Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
    Restoring  >  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the Steps in this article to force the device into Recovery Mode.
Make sure you have the Latest Version of iTunes (v11.1.5) Installed on your computer

  • Send Alerts(e-mail) for errors in SXMB_MONI(message mapping exceptions)

    Good afternoon !
I´m configuring SAP Netweaver PI 7.0(SP13) to use Alert Framework to send Alerts when errors occurs in the interfaces processing.
I just achieved configure to send alerts when errors ocurrs in the Adapter Framework but, I can´t configure correctly to send alerts when errors ocurred only in SXMB_MONI(for example, message mapping exception in asyncronous interface).
I just followed the instructions at Michal Krawczyk
weblog(/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/09/09/xi-alerts--step-by-step) and, initially, this was not sufficient to start to send alert when errors occurs only on SXMB_MONI, so, I researched and found some configurations to do in CCMS(started from here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/e3/bf3b7a8ccb8040b638ff732c551aeb/content.htm), jobs to start events collectors, etc, and after this, I could see a mail for an message mapping exception. BUT, this message, sent from CCMS to ALM, doesn´t carry out all the message parameters, like message Id, sender(service, interface), receiver(service, interface), that is very important to help to find the message with errors to be solved.
There is somebody here that already done the Alert configuration to send messages for errors found only in SXMB_MONI(Monitor for processed XML Messages) ?
There is a better way to achieve this ?
            Thank you for your attention,

    Google Chrome is a problem:
if you use Chrome's own PDF viewer, the results are unpredictable.
if you use the Adobe Reader plugin with Chrome, it may reject (block) it if it is not the latest version.  Reader 11.0.08 is the latest version for Windows XP, but Chrome may insist on the current version 11.0.10.
My suggestion; use a different browser!

    Dear Patrick,
As our experts told you can trace by using ST01 and select your ID and start the trace then again test be editing and reactivating the scenario and test it again then you ill came to know if in case any issues.
    1. Other way to test the scenario is Goto RWB--> Component Monitoring --> Select Adapter Monitoring --> Then select the TEST MESSAGE TAB and give Interface details inputs or copy or take your pay load from MONI and past here and check and changes are to be made and then test the message there itself .
    2. Also as u can test the message in Message Mapping TEST TAB and test the mapping and also parallely do Cache Refresh in SXI_CACHE.
    3. You can also check the status of the message in SYSEM STACK of message monitoring this is different from RWB message moni
    [http://Host name:PORT/MessagingSystem/monitor/systemStatus.jsp]
    4. YOu can also trace the message through this system stack also.
