Queues For RF

Hi,
  Can anyone help out how to implement or explain about queues for RF transactions like for Transfer Orders
Thanks
Vidhu

This functionality is used to manage the activities in the warehouse. The system puts the transfer orders in different queues and the users are assigned to these queues.
The RF monitor (LRF1) allows to monitor and influence the execution of the transfer orders in the RF enabled warehouse.  It is a graphical overview of all transfer orders assigned to queues, the RF users that are active in the warehouse and the queues and TO's they are assigned to.  The user of this transaction can allocate different users to different queues and also move the transfer orders

    I tried use the proxy service to consume message from the jms topic . and generation an error in the proxy message flow. But the message didn't goes into the error topic.

To accomplish similar functionality go to JMSQ on (for which proxy is configured) server console (http://localhost:7001/console) and configure the Error Destination. Following URL will help in how to configure JMS Q.

Your proxy will receive from this topic.

  • Attachments still getting queued for a long time

    Others have probably observed as well that after the forum upgrade, attachments are still getting queued for a long time, e.g. the attachment in this post has been queued for almost two hours:
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/433930?tstart=0
    (The attachment posted 9:56 AM PDT, it's now 11:49 AM PDT.)
    Is there an ETA on a fix for this?  If it's going to be awhile, can attachments just be disabled until it's fixed?

    In lieu of working attachments, I prefer recommending www.pixentral.com, for a couple of reasons:
    - The camera icon is limited to 2 MB, while Pixentral has a larger limit. For the metadata issues I often address, I of course want to see the original.  And not only is it inconvenient for the original poster to resize the image to upload it, but many Photoshop Elements users have difficulty resizing the pixel dimensions of photos.
    - When a 2 MB image is inserted with the camera icon, the Jive software inserts a link to the original 2 MB image and relies on browser-side image resizing, slowing down everyone's page downloads.  For an example:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/2000474#2000474
    Here's the HTML:
    <a href="http://forums.adobe.com/servlet/JiveServlet/showImage/4336/skin91.jpg">
    <img alt="skin91.jpg" class="jive-image-thumbnail jive-image" onclick=""
      src="http://forums.adobe.com/servlet/JiveServlet/downloadImage/4336/skin91.jpg" width="620"/>
    </a>
    The SRC URL refers to the full 2 MB image.

  • How to create Single Queue for more than one interfaces(XI)

    Hi Experts,
    I want to set up a separate queue for 3 interfaces which all are outbound IDOC to FTP.
    Please let me know ' Hhow to create a queue for multiple interfaces with Quality of Service 'EO''.
    Thanks,
    Srinivas P.

    The same reason that Apple and 3rd Party vendors put multi-size templates in one file I expect. I am trying to construct an in-house standard template for use in our company, and it is easier to manage if there is only one file to send to people rather than many - both initially and for subsequent edits / updates to the template.
    Of course it would be possible to create several templates (one for each size). But since it is clear that templates can be combined, it appears sensible to do this - unless the doing of it is horridly complicated

  • Java Flush Queue for TREX index - How to

    Hi,
    I have an IIndex instance. I've added a document to the index using indexDocument(IResource resource).
    How can I programmatically get the queue for the IIndex instance & do a flush on that queue?
    Thanks,
    Jeroen

    See method flush() here : AbstractIndex
    //Your index ...
    IIndex idx =...
    //Set the index active before adding the document, flush afterwards
    //Sets an index inactive or activates it
    idx.setActive(true);
    //Puts a document into the index - note : the document is added to the queue with a small delay, while the flush is performed immediately
    idx.indexDocument(res);
    //Cast to AbstractIndex
    AbstractIndex k = (AbstractIndex)idx;
    //Flush the queue
    k.flush();

  • Message sitting in Queues for 30 minutes before MDB picks them up

    We're seeing a situation where we place messages on a queue and a small percentage of them will sit on the queue for 30 minutes before being picked up by the MDB to process. Anyone see this before?
              Here is the background. We're running 3 distributed queues on a cluster of 4 Weblogic 8.1 sp3 servers. The 30 minute issue happens on all 3 queues on all 4 servers. Currently we do not see a pattern. It can happen at a busy hour and in the middle of the night with nothing going on. During a busy timeframe, we can get up to 50 msg that hangup over a few minutes; less than 5 minutes.
              Our Service is an enterprise email service where various clients send email request to us via EJB. The EJB puts an entry into the database and puts a request msg into the queue. The MDB pulls it off the queue sends it to an email subsystem and updates the database.
              We added log msgs in both the EJB and MDB to track messages and narrowed it down to the requests just sitting in the JMS queue. We DO NOT set a delivery time via setJMSDeliveryTime().
              As mentioned is happens anytime during the day (busy or idle), may go for days without occuring, on any of the 3 JMS queues, on any of the 4 cluster servers, and for any of the clients. It's consistantly 30 minutes. This occurs on a small number of requests, but is enough to concern our business owner.
              Any thoughts on possible problems or any thoughts on monitoring or tracking down the issue is greatly appreciated.
              Thanks. Later...
              - Wayne

    One possibility is that the messages have already been pushed to an MDB instance in the JMS asynchronous consumer pipeline, but the MDB instance has stalled during message processing - which delays processing of the following messages. The waiting messages count as "pending" in the JMS statistics.
              You can reduce the number of messages in a JMS asynchronous consumer's pipeline via the "MessagesMaximum" connection factory setting (default is 10). First: create a custom connection factory with transactions enabled (to support transactional MDBs), and ack-mode set to "previous" (to support pub/sub MDBs), and MessagesMaximum set to its lowest possible value. Second: specify this connection factory's JNDI name in the MDB's weblogic descriptor.

  • How to configure queues for sending IDOCs from XI in the same order receive

    Hi,
       We are collecting IDOCs and sending them to XI using a background job (RSEOUT00) from R/3. When XI receiving these collected IDOCs, it's forwarding the received IDOCs into different queues for processing them and sending them to receiver system. Some times some queues are taking longer time to process the received IDOC and in the mean time the latest IDOC received getting processed and sent to receiver system. When the information related to this old IDOC is sent out to receiver system after the latest IDOC information is  sent to due to delay in Queue processing, we are getting errors in the receiver system. Can somebody explain the steps to configure queues to process the IDOCs in the same order they received from R/3.

    Hi,
    Why not tunnel all the IDOCs to one queue for processing ?
    Cheers
    Colin.

    Hi ,
    Please have a look in to the message tracking logs.
    From the logs i came to know that the sender "[email protected]" is trying to send an email to the non existing recipient "[email protected]" in your exchange organisation.Due to that email get failed and your post master address
    is sending an non-deliver report to the sender address "[email protected]" because of that messages are getting queued on your exchange server.
    On the below logs the non-existing recipient address is [email protected] likewise they can generate lot of emails to non-existing email address in your exchange organisation.So on such case finally we would be having large queue which contains
    the non-delivery report to the unknown sender address.
    Note : Really sorry , I am not aware of smse .But as i said earlier You need to enable the equivalent option on the smarthost which you are having in your environment.

  • PI to ECC via ABAP Proxy - Outbound Queue for HTTP

    Dear Experts,
    Is there any Outbound Queue for HTTP?
    I've a interface scenario where the receiver is SAP ECC and the receiver adapter XI ABAP proxy. As I see in the communication channel the transport protocol used is HTTP. So I think could there be an outbound queue to manage HTTP connection when PI send the data to SAP ECC?
    Just like when we are sending IDocs to ECC via tRFC, we could check if the IDoc has really been sent to ECC by checking in tcode SM58 (Outbound tRFC).
    In case for ABAP Proxy via HTTP, is there any similar connection to SM58 (IDoc via tRFC)?
    Thank you,
    Suwandi C.

    Hi Kandasami,
    Thank you for the reply. I will check for it.
    Hi Jens,
    Yes, I mean somewhere after the SXMB_MONI in PI and before SXMB_MONI in ECC, is there any queue in between those two?
    Thank you,
    Suwandi C.

  • RF Queue for a specific Shipping Point ...... Is it possibe?

    Hi,
    We have around 10 doors and 10 shipping points. Transfer orders created for all the outbound deliveries are directed to an RF queue for picking.
    Now, we have a specific  Shipping Point which we want to seperate out for picking and we want the transfer orders to go to a different queue.
    How can this be achieved?
    Few clues which might work out are :
    1) If we can somehow link that shipping point to a door, then we can create a queue for that door. But how can we link a shipping point to a door?
    2) If we create a new storage type and direct our picking to the new storage type. Is it possible? how?
    Any other suggestions are welcome.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Lock Queue for a particular Partner No.

    Hi All,
    We want to lock the RFC queue for a particaular partner No. is this possible in SAP?
    Background : We are having a maintainace activity on one of our middle ware, hence there would be changes done to a particular and critical interface. The middle ware team has requested that they should not receive any IDOCs during this time but as the activity is for a substantially high time, we cannot stop the batch which generates the critical Idocs during time as the critical IDOCs can be generated only for N and N-1 day only (Activity may last for 3-5 days depending on the outcome). We would want to lock the queue for a particular Partner No. so that once these IDOCs are generated they can be waiting in queue untill the queue is released and the target system has all the IDOCs required by the time the system is handed over to the bussiness.
    P.S : We are transfering IDOC through TRFC call to the target system.
    Can you please suggest?
    Regards,
    Anand.

    Hi Anand,
    As per SAP documentation
    Creating an Outbound Partner Profile (SAP Library - IDoc Interface/Electronic Data Interchange)
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/dc/6b7f5643d711d1893e0000e8323c4f/content.htm
    When you assign a port number for IDOC partner profile, this port number is mapped to a RFC destination.
    Either you can hash out port <-> RFC destination mapping or hash out the RFC destination host mentioned in SM59.
    Hope this helps.

    Deepak Kori

  • Exchange 2010 - PerfMon - Messages Queued for Delivery = 2,147,483,649

    Our monitoring system is alerting Messages Queued for Delivery as 2 Billion messages and the value returned by PerfMon > MSExchangeTransport Queues > Messages Queued for Delivery also matches this number during some samples.
    I was wondering, what's going on here. When checking queues using Get-Queue cmdlet it doesn't show more than couple of messages in the queue.
    How do I get this fixed? This seems to be a known issue from thread http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ac121f02-4359-4d18-b86a-9c9c78b320a9/perfmon-messages-queued-for-delivery-2147483764?forum=exchange2010
    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi ChaituNanl,
    Thank you for your question.
    By our search, I suggest we update Exchange to Exchange 2010 CU6 or later, because problem also seem to appear to Exchange CU5 or former.
    We could download the CU by the following link:

    Notice: please note the version of  Exchange Service Pack

  • Specific queue for one Scenario.

    Hi guys,
    I’m using an RFC interface to connect an R/3 to XI. I would like to use only one specific queue for this scenario. Is it possible specifying a specific queue? Where I can define it?
