Queues - how to ???

hi,
in my scenario an interface gets to xi and calls an BPM, after that the BPM calls an oracle DB thru JDBC using two individual interfaces. It is possible that for this two interfaces i can achived one specific queue to process them ???
I've already configurated thru SXMB_ADM the corresponding Sender/Receiver ID's and the required filter is activated, but as i run my interface thru RWB the required filter for the queue specified is not achieved.
Any help will be very kind ....
Thanks in advanced,
JMatos

Hi Jose,
I've already configurated thru SXMB_ADM the corresponding Sender/Receiver ID's a
>>> as far as I know sender and receiver have to be configuered if you use a WAS 6.40 in the role of a application server.
But yours is the integration server, so you got to configure it for inbound and outbound.

  • JMS and advanced Queues - how to dequeue?

    Hi,
I've recently built a MDB that listens to an Oracle Queue (9.0.4) via JMS . Everything works fine, the only thing is that the rows that have been enqueued are not deleted (dequeued) from the queue table once the MDB has picked them up.
This only causes a problem when the database re-starts as the MDB picks up all the messages again. And also is a problem as the table will keep growing with all the messages.
Can you tell me what I should do to dequeue the messages? Should this be a trigger of some sort or is there something I can do from within the bean to dequeue the message once it has been consumed? Or is there another way of handling this?
    Appreciate your help.
    Cheers.

    Hello,
Great! I need that solution :)
Can you point out how you connected the MDB to the AQ? What software or adapter did you use?
I have the vice versa problem.
The MDB always deletes the message in the queue table, but a rollback never works.
Did you enable transactions by the following settings in ejb-jar.xml:
    <container-transaction >
    <method >
    <ejb-name>MyMdb</ejb-name>
    <method-name>*</method-name>
    </method>
    <trans-attribute>Required</trans-attribute>
    </container-transaction>
I use BEA to deploy the MDB and Dips xa-compliant StartupClass package to register the AQ Connection Factory to in the JNDI tree.

  • JMS Queue - how to determine dynamically

    Hi,
I have the following scenario File -> PI -> JMS Queue
Based on the above I would like to dynamically determine the JMS Queue name based on the source file name, for example:
XXX_data_file.xml        should route to JMS Queue   XXX_JMS_Q
YYY_data_file.xml      should route to JMS Queue   YYY_JMS_Q
<any>_data_file.xml    should route to JMS Queue   <any>_JMS_Q
How can I dynamically set the JMS Queue name?
There are several suggestions which say to use 'DCJMSReplyTo' but they make no sense to me. I have looked in WIKI "FAQ J2EE JMS Adapter" and "Note 856346 - J2EE JMS Adapter: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
I can get the source file name in a UDF but how to set the target JMS Queue in the same UDF?
    Che

Check the following link for how to get the name of the file:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/43/03612cdecc6e76e10000000a422035/content.htm
In your target strucuture, add one elment to hold the above file name:
In your receiver determination, you use conditonal routing, you can say
if file name element = file 1, then select your queue1 receiving system
if file name element = file 2, then select your queue2 receiving system
If you do not want to have many receiving system,  you can also use conditional interface determination as well, that way, you need to have number of inbound interfaces that corresponding to your queue.
in this case, you just have one receiving system.

In 8.1, one file: "config.xml"; in 9.0 one or two files (your JMS module file, and potentially the config.xml) .

  • Copy to this computer: Queued - How to get it to "actually copy"?

I have two copies of ARD, one at home and one at the office. I was able to copy a file from a client at the office to the desktop of the ARD computer using drag and drop, but when I try to drag it to my ARD computer desktop at home, I see a "Copy to this computer: Queued" message, but it never actually copies over to the computer at home. The 3283 and 5900 ports are open and set and functional.
Furthermore, if I just try to drag a file from the home ARD to the office ARD, I get a dialog box that just says 'Queued'.
We are talking about 4k files that should take mere seconds.
How do I actually copy these files?
    Thanks.

A common problem, but no fix-all response. Unless this is something you need to do often, you might just find a way around it, such as emailing the files, or, if they are text files, open on the source Mac, select all, copy, click the appropriate clipboard copy direction button, and paste it into a new document. For larger files, not so good, but for 4k, should be a piece of cake.
As firewalls get tougher, those sorts of tricks get less and less reliable. That being said, you might try turning off both computers' firewalls for testing to narrow down the possible cause(s).
    Good luck

  • Several old/obsolete transports in the queue - how to get rid of them.

We are looking at an upgrade from ECC5 to ECC6 in the near future.  As part of that, i'm looking to "clean up" outstanding or unneeded objects in the system.
In this case there are several old (a couple years +/-) transport requests in the queue for our production system.  None of these ever made it all the way through, or issues were discovered in QA so the object was modified and put in a new transport, which did make it into Production.  Leaving these unneeded transports sitting in the queue.
    1) will these be an issue for the upgrade
    2) how do I go about cleaning them out of the queue?  Or should I? Or can I?
I'm open to suggestions on how to manage these old transports.
(Now we will move up an incorrect transport followed immediately with the corrected transport, thereby removing an unwanted transport.  Unfortunately this was always done in the early days.)
    Thanks for your suggestions
    Laurie McGinley

You are talking about transport buffer for your prod.
This has no link to your upgrade process.
During the upgrade, it will look for open transports that were not released.( it 'll not look for the transports added to the queue)
For cleanup, you can try the option from tp command.

  • Messages waiting indefinetely in queue -- how to purge

    Hi All,
I have around 900 messages in the outbound queue waiting in the past 2 days .
Is there any way to purge sceduled messages in the Queue (SMQ1,SMQ2)?
My messages are indefinetely growing in the message queue without processing. I understand I need to configure a background job for that.
Which transaction code should i use to schedule Backgound job for Messages ( not BPM) ?
Is there any way I can purge these messages from the queue before they get processed by XI?
if yes please let me know the way.
Because of this a scenario I run today is scheduled in the queue after 3 days and my receiver is unable to get the message.

    Hi All,
    Thanks All for helping me.
Initiated a search for all the messages waiting on all the Queues.
Status of all the messages shows : <b>To Be Delivered</b>
Messages were processed successfully till some date. we have a system down after that.
From then on messages are not being processed.
Am I missing in the job configuration for the Queues.
Queue status is displayed as Ready ( no errors)

  • Oracle BPM and JMS Queue: How to associate data from Map Messages to Process Data Objects?

    Good Day!
I'm currently working on a project wherein it tries to get data from a JMSqueue Map Message being populated by CEP.
After CEP pushes some data in the JMSqueue. I have BPM configured with a JMS adapter to look up whether there are any messages to be processed upon.
Inside BPM, I want to know how can I correlate the data from the Map Message to my Process Data Object.
For example, If I have a Map Object wherein it has 3 attributes:
    FirstName:String
    LastName:String
    Age:int
What is the expression I need to use inside Oracle BPM Data Association screen in order to map the data from the Map Messages into my process data objects?
    Thanks!

    Any ideas? Thanks!

  • Printer Queue - How can I hide print job title and username?

    Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to hide print job title and username in the printerqueue?
Because of our privacy agreement we would like to hide this information,
    Workstation OS: Windows 7 x64
    Printserver : MS 2008 R2
    Thanks in advance
    Mark

Not the user name but the job name is changed to Print Document when the print jobs are sent to Server 2012 and 2012R2.
There is no Windows feature like this in 2008R2.  There are third party products that include job rename features for 2008R2

  • How do I handle the same text/string request to several queues ?

    Hello,
I just want to send the same string (via a file) to several queues, how do I proceed with OSB ?
A small transformation (XSLT) is required on one route, nothing on the other one, but the initial string is the same.
I don't need any WSDL, just a proxy that is able to split the request into at least to routes.
    Thanks for your help.
    JC

I have to send the message to two JMS queues, without any transformation into the fisrt one, with a tranformation into the second one.
These queues will be reading, the messages will be modified, then write back to two different JMS queues.
And finally, I have to read theses responses and aggregate them into a single message.
So SplitJoin seems ok to split then aggregate, but it needs a WSDL file, and as you can see I do not need or have any operation as I use JMS queues, so how I can configure the WSDL file to addess my issue ?
Perhaps it is not the good way to proceed, perhaps another solution to split and then aggregate the responses is better and feasible ?
    Thanks a lot.
    JC.

how to change the Queue of one user to another user. and how
system guided picking/putaway will activated automatically?
what config needs to be done
    reg

Assign a personnel number in the queue aginst the user name and the same personnel number needs to be assigned in TO so that once th euser logs on to RF gun, these TOs will be automatically available for him/her to process and thus you can achieve system guided processing.
Didn't get the queue changing requirement.  Can you elaborate plz?

  • How to get the XML messages from JMS Queue in BPM

I have one requirement in my application.we are sending XML messages to the JMS Queue. How to get the XML messages from JMS Queue and how to Extract the details from XMl.
can you please send me the code to get the XML messages from the JMS Queue.
    Thank you,

    Hi,
Sure others will have some other ideas, but here's what I typically do to get the XML from a JMS queue. Inside the Global Automatic that pops the messages off the queue you'd have logic similar to this:
    artifactInfoNodes as Any[]
    xmlObject as Fuego.Xml.XMLObject = XMLObject()
load xmlObject using xmlText = message.textValue
. . . Once you have this, it's a matter of deciding what you want to do with the message. Most times you'll parse the XML (using XPATH statemens), set argument variables and create a work item instance.
    Hope this helps,
    Dan
