R12 clone have PRODUCTION ENTRIES

Hi All
We are running r12 EBS on solaris 5.10. Recently I cloned r12 instance with latest production image.
After clonning I noticed some PRODUCTION ENTRIES in Concurrent managers and in
System Administration--> Oracle Applications Manager --> Hosts. It was showing me of PRODUCTION Application and database server's host along with clone instance hosts.
Is there anyways I can remove this entries or I do have to re-clone.

Hi,
These entries wouldn't do any harm, but as best practise you can run "EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE.SETUP_CLEAN;" and run autoconfig (db first and then apps).
The command would clear the node information from fnd_nodes table and running autoconfig would populate the correct entries in the table.

The reason I was ambiguous about these entries is, our Test,QA,Dev instances fnd_nodes table have these 2 entries (mentioned above in this thread) plus their respective Instance entries. This raised a doubt, do we need to have only 1 entry i.e. entry of the respective instance in this table or is it OK to have other values like AUTHENTICATION, other instance information in this table.You should have more than one entry in this table, one for AUTHENTICATION and one for each database/application tier node.
Also, I see continuous error messages in Prod concurrent manager log as indicated below. I Read in one of the articles to check for fnd_nodes having multiple entires might be a reason for below error messages. Thats why I wanted to check with you all, to see if there is any thing needs to be done to avoid future issues. BTW,The instance is working great...Just that I am concerned with CMLog having these error messages populating all the time...

Special stock value problem while production entry

Dear Gurus,
One of my client using special stock scenario (E), here in one of the case while producing the special stock through production
the system posted production entry in that the FG and COGM value system taking rs 28.30 for one number, where as in the
material master the standard price is maintained at 471.12 for one number.
I observed one thing during this special stock system not considering standard price as well as moving avg price it is taking price from somewhere i am not able understand where the system taking this price i checked sales order condition value and all but no where this price is mentioned. I want to know in case special from where system considers the price.
where as normal stock everything is fine., please help me in this regard.

Do you have any Co Component in your system. If marking operation is done the standard price changes acording the production cost.
Check the tables:
Goto SE16
Enter the below tables and execute.

We require daily clone for our setup due to testing and other reason. Can we replace only database via RMAN Clone?
R12 clone with RMAN Auxiliary DB. Find below steps, if I am wrong correct me.
1.     run autoconfig on apps tier.
2.     perl <AD_TOP>/bin/admkappsutil.pl and Synchronize appsutil on db tier.
3.     Run autoconfig on dbtier or adconfig.sh <contextfile>) (which is correct? i am using autoconfig not with contextfile)
4.     adpreclone.pl dbTier
5.     adpreclone.pl appsTier
6.     copy source to target including db and apps tiers.
7.     perl adcfgclone.pl dbTechStack .
8.     create duplicate db (auxiliary db) from rman backup.
9.     sqlplus "/ as sysdba" @adupdlib.sql so
10.     perl adcfgclone.pl dbconfig <CONTEXT_NAME.xml> (This gives error, I am skipping this step. I have tried with perl adcfgclone.pl database but then also its give error. )
11.     exec FND_CONC_CLONE.SETUP_CLEAN;

Catalogue: transform each "product entry" as an independent ellement?

I am creating a catalogue in Indesign.
i created a book and chapters for the different areas.
I have entried each product in an independent page. but whenever I want to reuse each one in another document, I have to manualy COPY PASTE the ellements into another file.
as the catalogue gets more and more extensive and complex, my usability get less easy.
how could I transform each "product entry" as an independent element?
is there any way to independently and easyly ling internal complex elements?
Is there any addon to do this.
I hope anyone can help me.

Well - if you were building a catalog manually how could you be surprised you do have to manage it manually?
Since this forum is about InDesign plugins developement - does it mean you are looking for a solution from plugin developers?
For myself alone, I'll have a full bunch of different answers about solving the issues you are listing - and much more since you are still far from seeing its real complexity I am afraid.
Catalogs are not minor publishing products and handling them manually is not really making sense as you have already found out.
But from finding this out to solving the actual issues there is a huge gap and many different opportunities: buying the best "addon" will not help you much I am afraid - as there is much more than that - including a products database, to start with...
Try to think the other way around: the layout you have designed is not a catalog starting point but its final output - the core of a catalog is the data you will publish for one or several catalogs. Start by handling the catalog data first then the layout will follow easily. How to bind catalog data to layout is mostly a matter of taste - and budget...

Why do i have 2 entries for the same event in iCal?

I have just upgraded to OS Lion, purchased an iPhone 4S and have also moved to iColuds - why do I have 2 entries for all my events in iCal?

You can just delete the ones you don't want from the document Library. Be careful though, that you do not delete the symbol(s) that are being used on the canvas.
It's hard to say how you got so many duplicates in the first place without knowing your workflow.
My guess is that you created a new symbol every time you added something to the canvas, but that is only a guess.

In The se11 menu Utilities-->table maintenance generator-->if u already created table maintenance generator then in the tab DIALOG DATA TRANSFER DETAILS check the radio button STANDARD RECORDING ROUTINE.
Then when ever u save the data in the table it will pop up a screen to create a Transport request.

Click the calendars button in the top left corner of calendar, look to see if you have groups of calendars other than iCloud. I only have iCloud calendars on my phone so can't show you what I mean, but I have other groups on my iCal application on my mac which is sort of similar.

You can download the software from the website and then type in your old serial number to activate it... that is, IF the installer database will work with your operating system. I am having problems reinstalling CS4 with a new computer running on Win 8.1. When I called customer support, they told me a whole lot of nothing for 45 minutes and then directed me to a chat session. After about 30 minutes on chat, I was basically told they don't offer support for older products. The website says "no known issues" for installation... but that very well may be because they are unwilling to record the issues when someone calls to report them! Good luck with your install. I wish I had CS5 at this point, as it appears there is still support available for it... but you are on the bubble timewise for that to continue. Other downloads

If you are talking about the serial number, as far as I know serial numbers are entirely numeric so there is no need to enter letters. Maybe you are using the incorrect code.

Auto Attendant - I have two entries with the exact same name when msDS-PhoenticDisplayName set

Exchange 2010 Sp3 w/latest rollup.
We want the UM attendant to speak first name lastname so I put in the msDS-PhoeneticDisplayName value by using the set-user command. After this was entered, the UM attendant will say "I have two entries with the exact same name" and speaks both
names identically. When I remove the value the problem goes away so I am confident this field is causing the problem. Anyone else have this problem and solved it?

Developers have been creating/dropping objects in LANTS_ENTMT_NA_DEV_01 schema for several weeks now. Today, while trying to create a table in this schema they got
ORA-01536: space quota exceeded for tablespace 'LANTS_DATA'So, I wanted to check the quota allocated to this user. But this user doesn't have an entry in dba_ts_quotas ! This means that this user was never granted any quota on any tablespace . Right ?
But, I am curious , without any QUOTA , how this user was able to create objects in its default tablespace until now and suddenly get "ORA-01536: space quota exceeded" error today.
