Radio option text length

Hi Guys
I have created a radio option in the program , but it is cutting the text in the comments. could anyone tell me how can I increase the length to 60 . I did goto - selection text and under dictionary current basic setting it is showing as 30 I want to increase the length to 60 .

use begin of line...end of line in the selection-screen statements for each radiobutton. Add a comment to the right of each radiobutton with a unique identifier with the approprite length...like;
selection-screen begin of line.
parameters: p_r01 radiobutton group rgrp.
selection-screen comment 4(60) text-r01.
selection-screen end of line.
Spend a little time with ABAP help for SELECTION-SCREEN....lots of things you can do there. BTW, you will probably come to the attention of the moderators with 156 questions, 71 unresolved!

RFC_READ_TABLE Options - Text length

Hi,
Is there a limit on the amount of characters you can use in the RFC_TABLE_READ > option > text parameter (where clause) seems to ignore and syntax after approximately 70 characters, just wondering if anyone has any experience using this call through xMII - need to cut down the returned data using this parameter significantly ?

if you need more then 72 character, then you need to define more items in the OPTIONS fields like this
example:
1. item = AUFNR EQ '000000700023' OR AUFNR EQ '000000700003'
2. item = OR AUFNR EQ '000000700006' OR AUFNR EQ '000000700007'
3. item = OR AUFNR EQ '000000700011' OR AUFNR EQ '000000700005'
Important is that the 1. item start with the condition.

Unable to define Radio Button Text field & unable to change column position

Hi,
While designing a screen in Screen Painter, I am unable to define Radio Button Text field as this option is not there in Graphical Element. And also I want to specify the starting position of column of that element different from the default value, but I am unable to define that because the field is non-editable.
Can any one please help me out.

Here radio1(1) TYPE c is defined within the program but in the element list there are RADIO1 element exist. One is actual radio button and the other is Radio Button Text.
I am not able to create that radio button text using same object name.

Options - Text Editor - C/C++ missing intellisense entry. Intellisense not working

Options -> Text Editor -> C/C++ missing intellisense entry. Intellisense not working. Solutions to turn options for the editor off and on are not working. The intellisense entry is present for other languages,
such as C#, but not C/C++.
By not working, I mean the intellisense right click menu items are grayed out, and intellisense files are not produced.

Based on your issue, could you please share me a screen shot about the intellisense right click menu items are grayed out?
Generally, I know that it is default that we can enable the intellisense for C/C++ by going to the TOOLS->Options -> Text Editor -> C/C++ ->Advanced-> IntelliSense like the following screen shot.
So please try to check if you set Disable Intellisense property as False in the VS IDE.

Is there a way to change the master text length in FCP? The default length is 10 seconds, which is too long. I can easily adjust the length but I don't want to do it each time, and I don't want to adjust one and then have to copy and paste this length.

Maybe some one else can pipe up with a solution, but this would literally take 2 seconds to do for a new project. And you can create a "template project" that includes this "text" clip. Save this project and then to a get info and check "stationary pad." When you double click on this file, fcp will open with a copy of this project and you just need to do a save as.

Issue with row/column text lengths in report painter

Hi Gurus,
I have created a report painter report with formatting of the row/column length text as medium, but for one FS item/GL Account the report when executed still picks up only the short text length. I am not sure how this can be resolved.
Any ideas is appreciated.

NO RADIO OPTION ON MY IPOD!!

I have a 30gb 5th gen ipod video and i jus brought the radio remote. after what seemed like a million resets and turnin the option off and on, i still dont see the radio option on the main or in the music screen can some1 tell me what im doin wrong, my ipod is up to date 1.2.1, so it cant be that and the remote worked on another ipod please help

Plug in your iPod.
On iTunes, under devises, select your ipod.
On the movies Tab, check if the 'Sync Movies' box is ticked.
Also check to see if the options under that are all correct.
The Movie folder should be in the Video's folder.

Please, can somebody tell me how do I get an ampersand (&) in a radio button text using screen painter.

On the Element list/General attr. tab I have:
Name     Type     Line     Column     Format
G_PRJ     Radio     21     30     CHAR
G_PRJ     Radio     21     32
On the Element list/Texts/ I/O templates tab I have:
Name     Type     Text
G_PRJ     Radio     _
G_PRJ     Radio     P&S
With these settings, I am getting a fullstop instead of &, so adding the text in the element list didn't work for me. BTW The text where it says _ (underline) is read-only.

How to perform Text length more than 4000 bytes

I want to read each row from txt file
and used utl_file pacage to concat contents into a variable,
the variable datatype is varchar2(4000), so text length can't more than 4000 bytes,
but I wish get full text from txt file, How can I do?

1. The msg length can't more than 4000
2. I use utl_raw.cast_to_raw function, that can't cast varchar2 to raw if varchar2 length more than 2048
3. If I want to change the data type varchar2 to raw,
the utl_raw.concat function can't use Loop ....end loop clause,
So that only use utl_raw.concat(ra1, ra2,ra3,ra4,ra5, ... ra12)

Default radio option (for Rating selection) from HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT

We have a requirement to remove 'select a value' default radio option (for Rating selection) from HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT. Can you please let me know is there any BADIs available to acheive this requirement ?

The normal way to do this is to set the option to "commit selected value immediately" and to place the code in the Keystroke event of the combo box. And instead of the first two lines that you have, you'd use something like:
if (!event.willCommit && event.changeEx !== "none") {

The changeEx property will return the export value, if any, of the selected item.

Legend text length 30

I am trying to set my legend names to a string longer then 29 charters but can not. If I try to set it to a string larger then 29 I get a Runtime error that the attribute value passed is not a valid value but do not get the error if the string is 29 charters or less. I have set the ATTR_LEGEND_AUTO_SIZE to 1 and manualy set the legend to a larger size but my text length max still is on 29. Is there a way to set the Max Text length in the legend to something larger?

Doesn't that property determine how many names are listed in the legend?
I can get more than that when I tried a chart in LV 8.6.
Plase post an example that demonstrates this issue.
