Raise an event when an idoc invoice (INVOIC02) gets created in error
Hi All,
Im trying to generate an email message from an output invoice when processed incorrectly.
I created a subtype of IDOCINVOIC, updated the linkage table using swe2 but the events are not raised when I go to re-issue my invoice output.
I know its possible to raise these events in idoc invoice exit ZXEDFU02 but the status is not created at this stage.
Is it possible to raise an event when an idoc invoice gets created in error?
King Regards
Ann
@CoolDadTX -That's because I've written com servers in the past using VB.net, however they were not registered with the Running object table.
What I'm trying to do in this case is have an application that will be started by the user, and then they will start another application written in .Net to connect to that first application. The reason for this is that we have an application
written in an old version of smalltalk that doesn't seem to support getObject but can create an IUknown, and we already have base classes to attach to COM objects written in .Net. As this new application needs to be started first it can't be tightly
coupled to the legacy application, so we are trying to register the new application and then connect a Dotnet Client that is being started through a COM Interface from the legacy application. I know it's convoluted but we need to keep the legacy
application alive for a bit longer while we rewrite it as an add-in for the new application.
The article that you linked to has been very helpful on the server side, but do you have any ideas as to how I can connect the sink on the client side in C#?

RAISING AN EVENT WHEN DATABASE TABLE UPDATES
hi all,
i want to raise an event when database table updates. For eg : if a price of a material has been changed then i have to raise an event and run the abap program in back ground.i know transaction SM62 to create event, i dont know about transaction SM64. please give me the procedure how to solve this problem. i dont know work flow. please give me a sample code how to raise event.
thanka and regards
sureshHi Suresh
It is important to understand that the SAP architecture abstracts the database from the application.
I think that you should look for ways that the application triggers an event when an update has taken place, rather than the DB.
Two ways of doing this that spring to mind are change pointers (for the ALE interface, see menu SALE) and Business Transaction Events (various things including CRM integration, see menu FIBF).
The latter works very well for sending prices to CRM when they change. I am more familiar with this than ALE so I will discuss it.
If you go to menu FIBF and then follow menu path Environment -> Info System (P/S), and then run the report for event 00503301, you can find documentation and a sample function module that you can copy.
Once you register your new function module in the event tables then it will be called when prices are changed.
Cheers

When I try to start my macbook it gives an error of Please restart your computer, but when i do this i get the same error. This occured after my macbook pro shut down (because of low battery) while it was installing some updates. Please Help?
Try reinstalling OS X. What version did you have installed? If it's Snow Leopard do this:
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
Do the following:
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install the Combo Updater for the version you prefer from support.apple.com/downloads/. -

I have an iMac, Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, memory: 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, OSX 10.7.5, FCPX 10.0.8. I have no third party plugins. First time responding to community. Forgive any protocol errors.
Been working on variety of work projects for months prior to update with no problems. Took time off for a simple new project after updating to 10.0.8. Finished this small (11 minute) new project that is a combination of video and stills, with a few titles and simple transitions. Plays fine within FCPX, however, ran into same problem that started this chain, ie cannot share/export without getting same error message stated above related to a faulty frame.
Tried several share/export Master File settings. Tried moving project (from within FCPX) to another drive which resulted in same error message, but related to other different frames. Tried replacing original data in affected frame with freshly exported replacement files using QTime. Same problem again. Was able to export to Compressor, but resulting ProRes 422 file was so jumpy it wasn't usable.
Tried suggestions of Mark M 98021 and Hank LV, ie, halting all rendering in preferences and deleting render files. After this, I was successful in sharing/exporting at will.
I have several other major projects that I am afraid to return to. I'm not an expert at the inner workings of FCPX and don't have time to keep dealing with this issue. I can leave rendering off, but not a satisfactory solution. Not sure if old rendered files might become infected.
It would seem that there is a problem in the update. I hope this is corrected so I can continue with my work. -

when exporting from Imovie I get the following error? OSStatus error -2009
Hi
Apple Support pages says.
Error 2000-2009 (2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, and so on)
If you experience this issue on a Mac, disconnect third-party devices, hubs, spare cables, displays, reset the SMC, and then try to restore. If you are using a Windows computer, remove all USB devices and spare cables other than your keyboard, mouse, and the device, restart the computer, and try to restore. If that does not resolve the issue, try the USB issue-resolution steps and articles listed for Error 1604 above. If the issue persists, it may be related to conflicting security software.

Hello
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:
Using Game Center
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4314
If the issue persists, or certain features of a game aren't working as expected (leaderboards, achievements, and so on), use the App Store to report the problem to the developer
Best of luck,

IDOC invoic /INVOIC02 Schema Definition
Please help me
Currently, I am working on one project which require me to translate from IDOC to EDI X12. The company mainly supports all EDI messages and I have no problem to translate to X12. But what I face with is IDOC Schema definition which the company does not have SAP system to generate it. So can you guys please send me an IDOC schema definition for Invoice 810(invoic/invoic02)? If you guys know some site which allow me to download that file please send a me direct link to that web site as I really need this file in order to complete my project.
I used to download Idoc schema definitions from the sap website http://ifr.sap.com/catalog/query.asp but this site now no longer exist.
Thank you so much for your help hope to hear good respond from you guys soonHi Rahul,
Firstly check out this blog by Shabarish, which discusses how you can give the condition in the editor using XPath expression. It also mentions the importance of specifying the correct parent node:-
/people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2006/06/07/customise-your-xpath-expressions-in-receiver-determination
Also, you must've imported the Idoc or an abstract type of the IDoc as the sender interface right?
Only then you will be able to see it in the condition editor rite?
Well if its the IDoc itself, just check if you have chosen the right IDoc while defining the rcvr determintation.
If it is the abstract message interface of the IDoc, then check if you have added the correct IDoc to the message interface in repository and also if you have chosen the correct message interface while configuring the rcvr determination.
If the above checks are all fine, also do a cache

Mapping Issue: Target IDoc structure not getting created properly
Hi Experts,
I am stuck with a strange problem in my mapping. It is a M:N scenario mapping where we have multiple IDocs in source as well as in target.
For example, in source Queue-1 I am getting values as [SUPPRESS, true, true, true, true] and in the in source Queue-2 I am getting the values as [1,2,3,4,5]. I used MapWithDefault function to match the number of values in both the queues but in the target IDoc the node (say TMPN) is created only 4 times because of the condition put at the target node. So, the target node should have values as [1,2,3,4] but it gets values as [2,3,4,5] because the first target TMPN node is not created in the first target IDoc. I can provide you with the skeleton of the map. Hope this will give you a fair idea. Let me know if you require more details.
1. Target Structure:
IDoc - No TMPN Node
IDoc - 1 TMPN Node
IDoc - 2 TMPN nodes
IDoc - 1 TMPN node
Condition put on target TMPN_Node ---> (created only 4 times due to condition)
2. Mapping Skeleton:
Values coming from Q1 (SUPPRESS, true, true, true, true) --->
\===>FORMATBYEXAMPLE+SPLITBYVALUE==> TMPN-F0 [2]
/ TMPN-F0 [3]
Values coming from Q2 (1,2,3,4,5) -
> TMPN-F0 [4]
TMPN-F0 [5]
Where F0 is the field which is created when TMPN Node is created. So, if TMPN gets created 6 times, the F0 gets created 6 times.
Please let me know if there is an alternative to this problem. How can I have values as [1,2,3,4] in field F0 instead of [2,3,4,5]hi,
i got the email.
as i can see your mapping seams to be rigth, but there is sometrhing i dont get. in a previuos post you said:

lets asume you define as default value "1"
now, the result of the formatByExample taking the example you sent to me is:
1,T1,T2,T3,T4 without context change. and the result of the function splitByValue should be what you are specting.
but its something that is not clear still,
could you post the result of the mapWithDefault? i think your problem is there.

When launching PS 3 I get an updater error message...
When I launch PS 3, be it from LR 3 or just on its own, I get the following error message in a window:
Process: Adobe Updater [489]
Path: /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Utilities.localized/Adobe Updater5/Adobe Updater.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Updater

Version: Adobe Updater 5.1.0.1082 (5.1.0.1082)
Code Type: X86 (Native)
Parent Process: launchd [90]
Obviously, that's not the entire message, just a portion thereof that I hope someone out there recognizes and can help me with a solution. It appears ther PS is trying to access it's updater app?
Anyway, I click "ok" on the message's window, the message goes away and I can dive into working in PS. I am using Mac OS 10.6.4.
Thanks.Ah, yes. It's PS CS 3. Sorry 'bout that. Is there a way to disable the updater? I tried tossing some prefpane a while back per Adobe's instructions. Didn't work.
Here is entire crash data:
