Random Image with Clickable Link
Hey guys so far I found a code that lets me randomize an image and I found out a piece of code that makes the image clickable but I do not know how to add a specific link to each specific image.
Here is the code:

Pdf-file with clickable links from iweb 09
How can I create a pdf-file with clickable links from a website created in iweb 09?
All iwork apps have an export button, which fulfills this task, but iweb does not.
Any idea?I am running 10.5.6 on a MacBook Pro 2.53 GHz. I create my PDFs via the print dialogue. I tried to create a PDF from iweb with Hyperlinks activated and all links are dead. I tried to create the PDF from the Safari window, were all links are active, and – funny enough – sometimes all, sometimes half of my links are dead. But most of them do not work. As soon as I create PDFs from third party sites, everything works fine.

HELP!!!! I have spent hours trying to find out how to embed an image with a link, or embed a Microsoft Word document with a hyperlink built within the document -- not as an attachment into my email -- but where it shows as the email content when opened! Does ANYONE know the secret? Can it be done, or not? My PC clients do it all the time easily. Then I want to be able to send the embedded image/document (not as an attachment, but visable within the email when opened) to many email contacts at once, BUT the individuals receiveing them DO NOT SEE the other email contacts. Cannot seem to be able to find anything on being able to do these 2 tasks.PLEASE, SOMEONE, HELP!!!

Scrolling news ticker embedded in a widget, with clickable links?
Hi, a friend of mine has a widget and he wants to put a scrolling news ticker embedded in the widget, with clickable links, can it be done? He has it working
in the web version. thanks.What you are trying to create is called a crawl, and you can create one by using the Roll/Crawl tool in the Titler workspace.
To open the Titler, click the "T" on the lower right of the Monitor panel. The Roll/Crawl tool is located in the lower left of the Tasks panel in the Titler.
You won't be able to create a huge, continuous crawl, but you can certainly use it to create the effect of a headline crawling right to left across the lower third of your screen.

my website http://www.functionkey.net. If you view my homepage you will see that 3 of my images with embedded links only show up with the links. I am not using "_blank" in my code. The website was created using Microsoft Frontpage 2003.
If you look at the page source then you will notice that there are some errors with (missing) closing tags.<br />
Such errors shows as RED text.<br />
You need to correct at least all codes marked as red text.
The first <a> tag isn't closed here and you open a second <a>

Can you wrap an image with a link in an html email signature?
When I cite a remotely hosted image in an html signature, and try to make that image a link, the link is ignored and the just the image is shown.
e.g.:

</a>For each icon that you want to use in your email signature:
locate icon on internet webpage - right-click on the icon and select 'Save Image as'. Save the icon to your computer in a suitable file.
Then in Thunderbird
insert > Image
choose file - locate the saved icon on your computer
click on Link tab and enter the www etc webpage link info
click on OK to insert image with link.
Codewise, where you have the actual icon you would need something stating where the icon is located:

My client would like to be able to add new images to their site themselves and use them as hyper-links to external sites without having to replace an old image with the new one (or blank place holding images - far from ideal). Is there ANY way that this is possible? They do not wish to update and add new images/links regularly and it is certanly not intended to be used as a blog or way of being able to constantly keep content new and fresh otherwise I would set them up with a blog account and add that to the site. It is merely a way of adding links to other local businesses every once in a while.
Please see the page they wish to update... Friends. (Please excuse the layout... the customer will not be able to resize or edit the images themselves and wishes to add them as-is!)
Thanks in advance for any help. If anybody knows how I can ask an Adobe official mod, that would be great... that, or make a request for a future addition in an update?

Change the layout to grid type and then scroll down. You will find "layout[GridLayout]" set col count here to the number equal to total number of buttons + 2.
Then click on link and in the properties scroll down and set col span = 2.
and hAlign = right.
this will do the required.
and the flowdata is coming in your container's properties because this container is also present in one of the transparent container which is having layout as flow layout.

Help needed making background image a clickable link
Hi guys,
I want to make the background of my site an advertising background where the background image is clickable.
I've tried a few tutorials but none seem to be working
What I've got is this as my CSS...

It kind of works but the link is only a thin strip either side of the screen for some reason and doesn't span the whole image background.
Does anyone have any ideas as to where I'm going wrong?

This can be done relatively easily but it's not very pretty. You will need to use a full-size image for the background, unless you plan to repeat it and set the clickable container to exactly that size. See code and screenshot below. Tested in FF, Chrome and IE9.

Can I create a pdf with clickable links which open new pdfs?
Hi,
My client now wants me to create pdf with links to open new pdfs (in an offline mode). He wants to put all the content onto memory sticks to hand out at a conference.
I have suggested the alternative of links which redirect to other pages within the same pdf, but if I could create one which open whole new pages or documents this would be really smart.

SamWhen you create the links, use "Go to a page view" type, as opposed to "Open a file". This allows you to create links that will open another PDF to a particular page and view (zoom and position).

Sliding images with clickable images
I am making a video site for a film director which includes lots of his tv commercials.
I am on a Mac and am building the site in Muse.
I have made an image banner from lots of tiny images from his work that will run along the bottom of the page.
I want the user to be able to click on an image to take them to a video page.
I want the banner to move across the page when clicked (from right to left).
Does anyone know how to do this? Should I use a gallery widget or perhaps anchors? Do I have to make it in Edge Animate first?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Documents with clickable links
I am trying to prepare a document on my Windows7 PC that contains a ton of hyperlinks.
I do not have Word on my iPad, and I can easily create output formats (like pdf) on my PC that I can read on the iPad, but have been unable to find a format where the links are live when I open the document on the iPad.
I've tried pdf, which doesn't seem to work.
So, complex question (output format from Word, app on iPad, etc). Need expert help!
[yes, I know I can create bookmarks on the PC in Firefox or in Safari and sync them to the iPad, but the links are organized and have embedded text/commentary that I need to be linked with groups of links or individual links]Try the free app Kingsoft Office. Making a Datagrid with clickable links
I'm trying to pull an XML list into a Flash file (got that
part) and make each item in the resulting datagrid list a link to
different PDF files (that's the part I DON'T have). I would think
you'd build the url right into the XML, but I can't figure out how
to use it to make the cells clickable. Any help would be much
appreciated.Ok, I am about ready to pull my hair out on this (not a lot
to spare, either!). Without giving me the code (I do want to figure
this out for myself...mostly), can you answer the following:
I can obviously figure out how to tie a mouse click event to
the datagrid, but how do I tie the mouse click to a specific FIELD
in the datagrid and grab the data in that field? If I can do that,
I should able to then yank the data from that particular XML item
by comparing the "clicked" cell value to the values listed in the
XML file, and then throwing the url listed in that piece of XML to
a getURL in Flash. But I just cannot for the life of me figure out
how to tell which cell in the datagrid was clicked. Yikes!!
Ok, in continued research, I DID figure out how to tell which
cell is being clicked using ListEvent to tell me the rowIndex and
columnIndex. Now, how do I pull the VALUE of that cell out??
