Rate and Fact group

Hi
When i am trying to bill the customer EA00  i am getting the below error.
No values found for Rate .... and Rate Fact group COME
I looked at IMG but i am not sure where to make these changes.
Thanks,
Reddy

hi,
These are the stepts ,you got to follow to determine your rate..
1) Config billing classes
2) Config Rate types
3) Create Rate
4) Create Schema
5) Create Rate category
6) Create Rate Determination.
Goto your Rate and check whether you have included facts, also check in ES31 whether you have define your Rate properly.

  • Excise rate and value is not getting defaulted from the purchase order

    Hi all,
While capturing excise invoice , the excise rate and value is not getting defaulted from the purchase order and in Excise Item Tab BED,AED,ECS is Zero at both header as well as item level for only one material in STO process and if we are doing same process taking other material all things are coming perfectly and We are maintaining condition with respect to vendor, plant and material combination.Any input related to this will be helpfull and rewarded.
    Regards
    Vishal

    Hi,
    Follow STO Process for this;
1.Create a vendor for the company code of receiving plant, using account group: 0007 using T-Code XK01.
    2. Assign this vendor to Delivering plant
    Go to XK02 >Purchasing view>Extras>Add. Purchasing data>Plant
    3. Create internal customer with the sales area of the vendor. Go To XD01
    4. In pricing procedure determination relevant to STO, assign document Pricing Procedure and customer pricing procedure appropriate for STO to get the pricing in the invoice.
    5. Maintain condition records for the relevant pricing condition.
    6. Some more setting for STO: Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Receiving plant >assign customer here & Supplying SA (for billing) to Receiving plant here
    7. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Supplying plant and assign the sales area of receiving plant.
    8. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > assign delivery Type & Checking rule
Assign the delivery type to document type. In this case, Delivery type NLCC is assigned to Document type NB
    9. Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > Assign document Type, One step Procedure, Under delivery tolerance
Assign the document type NB to supplying plant and receiving plant
    10. After all settings, Create the STO using T-Code: ME21N and maintain pricing conditions of freight and Save.
    11. In supplying plant Maintain condition record in sales using VK11 the same will flow in receiving plant when referring the OBD no during MIGO.
    10. Create Delivery: VL10G
    12. Picking, PGI: VL02N
    13. Billing: VF01
Save the document and its done
    14. J1IIN - Outgoing Excise Invoice
    15. MIGO - Goods Receipt against outbound Delivery

  • Overhead calculation not happening after using Overhead key and orgin group

overhead calculation not happening after using Overhead key and orgin group.
There was a runtime error earlier related to u201Cdefine credit u201C IMG node under costing sheet component and we have applied SAP note 769946 and that error was gone out of the way
We want to apply/add Overhead to SFG/FG materials.
We are using PP order with PCC(product cost collector) as the cost object , i.e costing by period.(system ECC 6)
But our problem is with material standard cost estimate process.
We have assigned overhead keys to the percentage rates in costing sheet for material standard costing and assigned the origin groups to the credits of costing sheet. But after running the cost estimate overhead is not taking into account for standard cost calculation.
In the define credit entry table key field is valid to date strangly and actually system should allow one than one entry with same valid to date and same sec.Cost element(type-41) for different cost centers.
But if we without using overhead key and origin group, the entire cost in that supporting cost center will come to all materials (SFG/FG) and we can not distinguish between different product materials(SFG /FG).
We have checked all things as mentined below.
Firstly that the correct costing sheet is assigned to the valuation
    variant.
That the costing sheet is entered for the appropriate material type:
Finished and semi finished or material components.
All of the above can be checked and verified via transaction OKKN.
In addition make sure that the base value maintained is present in the
costing, for example the base may include an Origin group, is that
origin group part of the materials being costed?
Similarly if the base is found and values exist how is the overhead
rate of the costing sheet set up, is it valid etc.
And finally do a similar check for the credit.
we doubt this as a programm error...
So, request all experts to have ur feedback..

    Dear,
Check your origin group & material unit of mesaurement is same.
some time in costing sheet origin group is maintain in different unit & for materail it's maitain in other unit of mesaurement.
You can see unit of measure for material in Additional data - unit of measure.
Check BOM component material unit also.
Check same  unit of measure is maintain in KZS2
    I hope above will useful.

  • Foreign keys in SCD2 dimensions and fact tables in data warehouse

    Hello.
I have datawarehouse in snowflake schema. All dimensions are SCD2, the columns are like that:
    ID (PK) SID NAME ... START_DATE END_DATE IS_ACTUAL
    1 1 XXX 01.01.2000 01.01.2002 0
    2 1 YYX 02.01.2002 01.01.2004 1

    5 3 YYZ 02.01.2004 1
On this table there are relations from other dimension and fact table.
Need I create foreign keys for relation?
And if I do, on what columns? SID (serial ID) is not unique. If I create on ID, I have to get SID and actual row in any query.

Are you still designing your system? Why did you choose NOT to use a Star schema? Star schema's are simpler and have some performance benefits over snowflakes. Although there may be some data redundancy that is usually not an issue for data warehouse systems since any DML is usually well-managed and normalization is often sacrificed for better performance.
Only YOU can determine what foreign keys you need. Generally you will create foreign keys between any child table and its parent table and those need to be created on a primary key or unique key value.
    >

    >
I have no idea what that means. There isn't any way to tell from just the DDL for one dimension table that you provided.
It is not clear if you are saying that your fact table will have a direct relationship to the star-flake dimension tables or only link to them through the top-level dimensions.
Some types of snowflakes do nothing more than normalize a dimension table to eliminate redundancy. For those types the dimension table is, in a sense, a 'mini' fact table and the other normalized tables become its children. The fact table only has a relation to the main dimension table; any data needed from the dimensions 'child' tables is obtained by joining them to their 'parent'.
Other snowflake types have the main fact table having relations to one or more of the dimensions 'child' tables. That complicates the maintenance of the fact table since any change to the dimension 'child' table impacts the fact table also. It is not recommended to use that type of snowflake.
See the 'Snowflake Schemas' section of the Data Warehousing Guide
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28313/schemas.htm
    >
    Snowflake Schemas
The snowflake schema is a more complex data warehouse model than a star schema, and is a type of star schema. It is called a snowflake schema because the diagram of the schema resembles a snowflake.
Snowflake schemas normalize dimensions to eliminate redundancy. That is, the dimension data has been grouped into multiple tables instead of one large table. For example, a product dimension table in a star schema might be normalized into a products table, a product_category table, and a product_manufacturer table in a snowflake schema. While this saves space, it increases the number of dimension tables and requires more foreign key joins. The result is more complex queries and reduced query performance. Figure 19-3 presents a graphical representation of a snowflake schema.

  • Dimension and Fact out of Daily Extract File

    Hi Folks,
We have a third party vendor which provides us with a daily extract of data in an excel file with about 40 columns. Some of the columns are a typical detail info like "State Name", "Payer
Name" etc. and some are numerical columns like "Billing rate", "Amount Paid" etc.
Now for long term reporting I want to setup a proper datawarehouse with Dimension and Fact Tables. The issue is that the third party vendor is not giving us access to the database source of these excel extracts.  So, If I want to design a Dimension
like Dim_Payer, I have only those Payer which are available in the daily excel extract file.
I was thinking of doing a reverse ETL process to load Dimension and Fact Table. So I read the daily excel extract file for unique Payer names and then load the Dimension table with unique keys for Payer. Going forward I only add new Payers. I then load the
    Fact tables with these keys.
Let me know if my approach has any issues.
    Thanks!

    The approach looks fine.
What you could do is to have a SSIS package using data flow task. In it use a excel source and have a set of lookup tasks to see if payer, state etc exists and link the no match output to OLEDB destinations to insert missing values to the table. Finally
have a data flow task to insert data to fact table after having lookups with relevant dimensions to get the reference ids.

  • Sample Rate and "Smart Encoding Adjustments"

Wondering if someone could help me out with this...
Is there a reason to choose a higher sample rate over a lower one when importing? Does it improve the audio quality? Or should I just put it in the auto setting?
Also, what does the "smart encoding adjustments" option mean? (In the "custom" settings for mp3 format)
I'm basically trying to get my music onto my HDD at the top quality possible, so I'm trying to figure all this out.
    Thanks.

The info below should give you a start on the concepts. Google can find many more facts, opinions, and misconceptions about Lossy vs. Lossless music formats. Way too much information to be listed here. Do several searches with various keywords.
Song file size is a factor of bit rate and song length. Audio quality is a factor of bit rate and encoding format. AAC and MP3 formats are considered Lossy, as they sample the target music file and reduce the total size with some reduction of audio quality. Lossless files are considered CD replicants as they contain all the digital data on the original audio CD. They can be fairly large in comparison to the traditional Lossy file.
Encoding a music file into a Lossy compression format will strip details from the file. Transcoding from one Lossy compression format to another Lossy format will compound the loss of details from the file. (eg: transcoding a sound file from: AAC to MP3; or MP3 to AAC). The audio degradation becomes more apparent when transcoding files ripped at lower bit rates (less than 192kbps).
When you burn an AAC file to CD and then re-rip the CD as AAC or MP3, the sound you end up listening to will have gone through a lossy compression process twice. Those losses can add up, taking what were only mild or even unnoticeable deviations from the original sound after the first phase of compression and making those deviations much more noticeable and objectionable. This is especially true if you try to take music at a low bit rate like 128 kbps (what Apple uses for iTMS) and try to compress back down to the same low bit rate.
The preferred method is to save all audio "masters" in a Lossless audio format such as Apple Lossless, WAV, AIFF or FLAC (or the original CD), and then transcode directly from the Lossless source file to your preferred Lossy format such as MP3 or AAC. This procedure preserves as much of the original audio signal as possible and prevents the compound loss of audio details from the file.
The generally accepted theory is that AAC/128 sounds as good as, or better than MP3/160 (and possibly even MP3/192). Transcoding your AACs/MP3s will most likely result in noticeable audio quality degradation. But -- test it out for yourself. If you cannot hear the difference, then it may be acceptable. Bear in mind that any improvements &/or upgrades in equipment (iPods, headphones, your ears, etc.) may uncover the additional audio limitations you created at a later date.

    Dear Experts,

My prob is: for raw material sales scenario i have created order delivery and invoice. For Invoice i have done account determination with a different G/L in VKOA. Now i have to create an excise invoice and the accounting entry for central ED on sales should go to different G/L account. for account determination i have done the following settings:
    Maintained Sub transaction type in
IMG -> Logistics - General -> Tax on Goods movement -> India -> Basic Settings
    ->Maintain Sub Transaction types
IMG -> Logistics - General -> Tax on Goods movement -> India ->
Account determination -> Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction.
Here against DLFC sub transaction Type is maintained..
    Also
IMG -> Logistics - General -> Tax on Goods movement -> India -> Account determination -> Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction
Here maintained Excise group with DLFC Company Code subtransaction type, chart of accounts and all required GL Account .
But when the iam creating Excise Invoice in J1IIN and clicking on Subtransaction type-F4, no entries are shown. No values found is the message in green. Message no. DH801
If i use subtransaction type and enter billing document and enter, the following error message comes:

  • Default Excise and series group

    Dear All,
We have maitnain the Excise group and series group defaults for one sales area and shipping point and the plant and series group and excise group.
The requirement is with the same combition we are doing local sale and the deemed export. We can do this by changing document type under utilization tab in excise invoice. As We have too many transections daily  we have done  settings as create excise invoice during creation of Invoice. In this its not possible to change the excise document type.In this case we want the excise documene type should come automatically. How we can do this?
Furhter, with the same sales area and shipping point and the plant and excise group we have different series group. We want this also default. Is there any user exit to address this scenario.
    Please give your valuable inputs.
    Regards,
    Deepti

    Dear Dipti
you can use J_1I7_USEREXIT_EXCISE_BEF_SAVE userexit , here you are refering to changing EXPIND in J_1IEXCHDR , then change the same and try
for determining series group you can use the user exit J_1I7_USEREXIT_SERGRP_DETERM , to determine series group
