RDBMS Code generator Problem!!!
I use weblogic.ejbc to compile my bean but it has an error "Code too long" with try-catch block in myprogram_Weblogic_CMP_RDBMS.java....
What's the problem becouse ejbc generate that file from my weblogig-cmp-rdbms-jar.xml.
I use Weblogic 6.0 service pack 2 and include ejb20.jar and ejb.jar
How can I do that? Please help.
Thankyou
Repost in the CMP section.
(BTW - I think that there is a -keepgenerated option so you can see the
.java.)

WLI 8.1 RDBMS Event Generator Problem
Hi,
I am using WLI 8.1 SP4. I have created a Trigger type RDBMSEventGenerator which publishes events in xml format.
It is supposed to poll every 8 seconds.
This event generator works fine if it is created after the server is started.
However, if the server is restarted, the same event generator stops polling completely. No events are published irrespective of the number of inserts made in the specified table.
Could anyone shed some light on why this is happening. I have tried to suspend and resume the event generator several times as well, to no effect.I would ask in the WebLogic Server - JMS forum.

Problem with .c code generated from proc compiler.
I am having a problem compiling the c code generated from the proc pre-compiler.
First some info on my system.

With the Partitioning, OLAP and Data Mining options
I have written a simple PRO*C program to test the compile.

printf("Testing ........\n");

./Test.c:117: error: expected identifier or '(' before string constant
./Test.c:131: error: expected identifier or '(' before string constant
The code generated by the proc compiler that has problems is below.
//File Test.c

struct sqlexd *, const struct sqlcxp *);
void sqlcx2t(void **, unsigned int *,

void sqlgs2t(void **, char *);
void sqlorat(void **, unsigned int *, void *);
// Forms Interface
Line 131: extern "C" { void sqliem(char *, int *); }
It seems like the compiler is generating c++ code but the gcc compiler is only compiling in cc mode. I've tried a number of options in the pcscfg.cfg file to no avail. I have tried the different options for the CODE=cpp in the pcscfg.cfg file but still get the same error and/or multiple errors. I have also tried to compile the oracle demo programs using the demo_proc.mk file and also get the same error.
The install of Oracle is fine. I can start the database and have created a needed user and tables but cannot successfully compile the pro*C code.My proc is also compiling for cpp code but in the pcscfg.cfg file there is no "CODE=cpp"

Hi all,
I am working on my thesis; the thesis is about writing in Java a code generator.
Well, the target is : getting a source code ( wrote in a meta language) and traslted it into another language.
I have to write the code generator in Java.
I was wondering if there were some general rules about writing this kinfd of applications.
Any suggestion ?
Cheers.
StefanoThat's not technically a code generator.
The technical name for such a tool is a transpiler.
You'd need a pretty good understanding of both languages to be able to write this, as you'd need to know how to represent code constructs in each in the other under any condition.
In my experience you almost always end up with poor code, unless maybe both languages have nearly identical paradigms.
For example transpiling a procedural language into an object oriented one will generally yield code that's neither good procedural nor good object oriented code. -
How to create an RDBMS event generator using wlst on weblogic 10.3
how to create an RDBMS event generator using wlst on weblogic 10.3, i got a code fragment needing class "com.bea.wli.management.configuration.RDBMSEventGenChannelConfiguration"
but i can' t find this class in classpath on weblogic 10.3, pls help me, thanks. code sample is better.Hi,
RDBMS Event Generator Channel Rule Definition
When you are creating channel rule definitions in the WebLogic Integration Administration Console, it is recommended that you do not use the Back button if you want to resubmit the details on a page.
You should always use the navigation links provided and create a new channel rule definition.
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13214_01/wli/docs85/deploy/cluster.html
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13214_01/wli/docs81/relnotes/relnotesLimit.html
http://otndnld.oracle.co.jp/document/products/owli/docs10gr3/pdf/deploy.pdf
This problem has been seen in the past when defining the channel rule for an RDBMS Event Generator if schema name was specified with the incorrect case (i.e. lowercase when it should have been uppercase or vice versa). To that end, it is suggested to change the case of the schema when creating the channel rule

Warning codes generated in UCCHECK - Technical Upgrade - 4.0b to ECC 6.0
Hi SDN'ers ,
I am currently working on Technical Upgrade project from 4.0 b system to ECC 6.0 system . I am facing a
problem relating to the analysis of the warnings displayed whehn we run the UCCHECK for the client inventory by
checking the "Display lines that cannot be analyzed statically" option under the Selection-screen block
"Statements that cannot be analyzed statically" .Based on the warning codes generated during UCCHECK, they can
be classified into 12 different categories given below in the list ( Viz. ABB,MESSAGEG!C,MESSAGEG!D......MESSAGEG!P).The same are given below in the end
I want to know
- Which are the warning codes which need resolution so that the program does not encounter any runtime
errors or during Integration testing ?
- Do all the offset related errors (For example ;variable A = B+offset(length)
or variable A+offset(length) = B ) need resolution so that the program gives no runtime error.
- Also, do all statements where length is calculated using STRLEN also need changes ? I have seen offset length related warnings come under MESSAGEG!M warning code.
The objective of this is to make sure that the upgraded system ECC 6.0 in Australia ,when rolled out to
non-English speaking geographies in APAc such as Malaysia,Japan or China would only need translations and no ABAP Coding effort even when using languages such as Japanese which have double byte characters.

At ACT_700 phase stop the upgrade and take a backup of the DB and the PUT<DIR> before starting the SPDD activity.
Make sure there are no pending tp request. Either release them or delete them.
All phase need to be completed successfully in PREPARE, before starting UPGRADE

Grand TotalHi Monica,
as bhaskar said no need to worry about warnings.
warnings will not lead to dump. only runtime errors will lead to dump.
if the system is unicode, remediate the objects without errors.
we can observe mainly,
open dataset, structure incompatibilty, offset, in byte or char mode etc
thanks

I have tried several things and had my team do research but we have not been able to find an answer to the problem.
If anyone can offer any insight as to why we might be getting this error it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!i also have same error during load testing, mainly this error
"Unexpected exception while enlisting XAConnection java.sql.SQLException"
i tried rerunning after increasing connection pool sizes, transaction timeout, but no luck, marginal improvement in performance though
also tried changing the default tracking levl to none, but no luck.
i am with 8.1SP5, how about you ?
do share if you are able to bypass these errors

Hallo,
Help!
Danke!Hallo zusammen!
Ich glaube hier ist die Lösung.
Auto Generate QR Codes with Data Merge in InDesign CC 2014
I am trying to place a time code generator on my sequence. It keeps failing. I receive "invalid file error" and "missing plug-ins" messages. What is the real problem and how can it be corrected?
Sorry, I can not duplicate the error. The standard answers would be try trashing your preferences and if that doesn't work, a re-install.

The code generated by EJBC in Weblogic 5.1 is wrong!
I have a container managed bean that has a primary key named
productLicenseId as follows:
public class ProductLicenseBean implements EntityBean
public int productLicenseId;
I had this code running in Weblogic 4.5.1 and converted it to EJB 1.1
(now I use java.lang.Integer for the primary key class) and attempted to
build it using WebLogic 5.1. I built your container managed example
(AccountBean), which built fine (it is clear why your example did not
have the problem mine did- the primary key is java.lang.String). After
that, I tried to build my container managed bean, but without success.
Here is a description of my problem:
After trying to compile my simple container-managed program using EJBC
in Weblogic 5.1, I get the following error:
ProductLicenseBeanEOImpl.java:56: Incompatible type for =. Can't convert
int to java.lang.Integer
pk = bean.productLicenseId;
ProductLicenseBeanEOImpl.java is a class that was generated by EJBC. It
is clear that this code is incorrect! The generated code (pk =
bean.productLicenseId) attempts to assign the primary key in the
ProductLicenseBean (an int) to a java.lang.Integer (pk is of type
java.lang.Integer), which is wrong! The source code generated by EJBC is
wrong!
Do you have a bug fix for this, or is there something I'm just not
getting?? !!
I should be able to use a java.lang.Integer as a primary key.
Thanks much for your help.

[timk.vcf]I had the same problem. I had used the deployer tool and had specified a
primary key class AND a primary key field "ID".
This had put an extra tag in the ejb-jar.xml file <persistence field> which
I hadn't seen before.
Changing the primary key field to "none" fixed caused other problems to show
up in the deployer tool (finders). I had to redo the
deployer project from scratch, this time keeping the primary key field to
"none" and it worked.

I have a container managed bean that has a primary key named
productLicenseId as follows:
public class ProductLicenseBean implements EntityBean
public int productLicenseId;
Can't convert
int to java.lang.Integer
pk = bean.productLicenseId;

RDBMS event generator & JNDI datasources
Hi everyone,
My WLI 8.1 SP5 is going nuts ! I'm under a cluster architecture, WL 8.1 SP6 with Red Hat Linux, JRockit 1.4.2_10. Deploying an application i need to create some RDBMS event generator, but when i do this, i get an NameNotFoundException looking for my jndi datasource ( see below ). The datasource is created and i can work with it, since it's a must for my application. How is it possible that a datasource exists for a web application and does not for an integration event ? Does anyone have any experience about this ? Any help will be very appreciated !!
