Re-Acknowledgements  Issue???

Hello Friends,
I am dealing with an issue where we are getting excessive re-acknowledgements without any change in the changelog. for ex:Sales Order 438822. Entered on 10/7, acknowledgement processed complete on 10/7 via batch run. A re-acknowledgement was created on 10/8 Saturday. when no one has been signed on to make relevant changes? This is a prime example of the issue stated.
I took the help from ABAP person, there are no changes in the programme or SAP Scripts. Can't figure out the actual reason for this re-acknowledgements, Appreciate if you could please help in resolving this issue. Thanks in advance, will award points to all the relevant answers
Thanks.
MD

Mohammad,
CHeck whether the program RSNAST00 was running in background, I hope it should be.
Then check with what variant it is being running. You can get the variant through SM37 , enter RSNAST00 in the ABAP PROGRAM NAME  field at the end of the screen.
Now select the job and go to log it will give you the variant.
Go to se38 and check the variant of the program RSNAST00 , there is a check box "Send again", This might have been selected. Remove this check box and save the variant.
This should solve your issue. If not please let me know .
Regards,
Ajai.

  • Proxy acknowledgement issue

    Hi all,
    I have a Proxy-PI-Proxy scenario with acknowledgements(application acks) that I'm still testing.
There's an interesting issue; in the PI and receiver systems, acknowledgement status gets updated
after the receiver processes the message but in the sender system(SXMB_MONI), the message just sent gets stuck with "still waiting acknowledgment" status and is not updated.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

    hi Madhu,
my blog that you mention does not have anything to do with proxy acknowledgments
why did you bring it here?

  • IDoc Acknowledgement Issue in SAP PI 7.3

We have configured IDoc to IDoc scenario between two ECC system using IDOC_AAE adapter. When we run the RBDSTATE program to trigger ALEAUD IDoc it is getting failed in SM58 in ECC system. But when we configure a separate scenario to transfer ALEAUD IDoc from one ECC to other ECC  system  usin IDOC_AAE adapter then the ALEAUD IDoc reached in target ECC system. In this case there is no error in SM58 of ECC system.

    Hi Anurag, Hasan,
Check the following OSS Notes, they are both addressed to the error you mentioned (appearing under different circumstances, so you might have to choose the right one):

1729575 Sending IDoc acknowledgements fails because of long text

  • XI Acknowledgement Issues

    Hello,
we have a problem in our xi system. we get multiple errors in sxmb_moni without a receiver system or service. They all occur an error because they can't find an ALE logical system, of course, they don't even have a receiver service.
These messages are all acknowledgement-messages. Is there any possibility to stop these acknowledgement-messages in scenarios where we dont need it?
Does all Interfaces produce an acknoledgment-message after sending data wire XI or does this depends on the IDOC adapter?
    Thanks and kind regards,

  • Acknowledging Issues ... Premiere Pro 5.5 / Mac OS X 10.6.7

Where is Adobe's "Official" response to problems that we have with Premiere Pro?
I would like to know ... so I don't have to spend hours trying to figure out what I did wrong .. or do I keep trying when it is futile until the bug fix?
Do I have to call them on the phone or is there a 'special' "Adobe Speaks" Forum that is buried in the 604 other forums that I missed?
I can't post Crash Reports in the Forums. I can't send them to the "Bug Report". ( Adobe Replies with a Error : Only 2000 Characters or less )
There is loads of crashed threads regarding the "com.adobe.dvacore.framework" and the "com.adobe.dvaui.framework".
Also: "com.adobe.premiere.frontend" and "com.adobe.Backend.framework" is listed among others.
This is a Mac Users Problem Only.
Where do we band together to solve these problems since there is no MAC FORUM??!!
My clients are disturbed .. I told them the 5.5 update would solve issues .. and I would be able to finish projects .. but 5 months later still no complete running system with ONLY ADOBE and APPLE.

It is that another Premiere Pro Mac user just confirmed the same issue I have been having.
I work on a project and hours later something happens. I loose all my work .. the "Crash Report" is generated .. without any confirmation of a problem ..
.. Whereas "Cuz" made me feel better.
I just posted another theory about the corrupt media files that were ascertained by another Forum user whom was kind enough to look at a few lines of the crash report.
Please correct me if Im wrong ... but:
Does PP use "Localhost" ports to share XML info between PP and AE while using Dynamic Link?
If so .. one of the first issues I have with PP 5.0 was with Dynamic Link.
It was if the shared XML ( or whatever ) file info ( which definitely inculded the file size ) was corrupted. A third party plug in was what enlightened me.
I did share these views with the Forum. I had no tech support to turn to since I was using a Demo MS 5.0.
Now that I have purchased 5.5 in belief that it would be solved .. it seems it is not.
I guess my job is to keep generation crash reports through hours of non-productive workflow and posting edited versions in the Forums looking for stray Mac Users whom either have the same problem or have something to add. [Edited for content]

  • Battery explosion, magsafe issues.

    Hello,
Firstly, I would like to say that the quality of the magsafe adapters is terrible.
I bought my second after my first went 'pop'. This cost me £60, and within a few months the cord has become loose, exposing bare wiring. I understand this is still within warranty, but is nevertheless unacceptable.
Secondly, and much more importantly, recently I have bought a new computer and have not been using my Macbook as much. However, today I attempted to charge it so that I could play a game that is not installed on my PC yet. It was plugged in and seemed fine. I did not notice anything strange while booting, however when trying to launch the game, the laptop abruptly turned itself off. Thinking this was odd, I unplugged it, only to notice that the battery had a noticeable bulge.
I immediately removed the battery. The casing has warped substantially so that the individual battery packs inside are visible. The front casing has also warped away from the main body.
I am at a loss to explain how this might have happened. I also cannot find any way to e-mail apple about this, as the support pages are all circuitous and suggest I call a premium-rate number.
Any suggestions as to what I can do now would be greatly appreciated.
I bought the laptop only around a year ago. I believe I have an applecare plan, although I probably did not register it and cannot remember exactly where it is.

Apple has acknowledged issues with the batteries in some MBPs:
    http://www.apple.com/support/macbook_macbookpro/batteryupdate/
Note the symptom, +"Battery pack is visibly deformed."+
A battery warranty extension is also mentioned on that page. I suggest you visit an Apple Store or call AppleCare - Apple should issue a free replacement.

  • Is there a problem with FaceTime, can not connect. When dial it connects and drops. When friends are calling me they have calling message and I have connecting but it does not connect. Need help, face time is my life line.

Face time not working. When dialled it says connecting and drops immediately. When my friends calling it show connecting but it does not.
Is there a problem with face time. I am in south Africa, it was working perfectly up to Easter. Please help this is my life line.

There is a barely acknowledged issue. For Mac users Apple has released an update to the app, but for iOS users the recommendation is for users to update their ipad to the most recent operating system.
There may be a fix coming for iOS6 users (which seem to be many of those having problems) or there may not be. If your ipad isn't up to date then you can update it and see if that helps, or if you don't want to update then you may want to wait and see if there is either a fix or if it fixes itself.

  • With "Download Headers" option checked, opening plain text emails results in cropped body text

When I open raw plain text emails (i.e. not formatted as HTML) I only see the first
255 characters of the email body; all of the remainder is chopped off, and never appears no matter how many times I re-open the email.
I have narrowed this down to my somewhat unusual download preferences in Outlook. They are configured as follows:
Send/Receive -> Download Preferences -> Download Headers (checked).
I know the email text is there in full, because when I point my web browser at OWA, I can see the full body.
If at first I choose Mark to Download and then Process Marked Headers, I can then open the plain text email and see the body in full.
When I open HTML emails I have no problems, regardless of whether the email download was forced or not.
This issue existed on my old Office 2010 installation for XP too. It persists now I have upgraded to Office 2013 on Win 7.
This is not an acknowledged issue yet within the Outlook team (in fact, a possibly related issue was
reported by someone else 3 months ago but suggested to be a font corruption issue, which is incorrect).
It seems like Outlook just forgets to download the full text for plain text emails when opening them. It's repeatable every time, so it doesn't seem like a race condition. (To reproduce: set your Inbox download preferences as above, then send
yourself a plain text email, wait for the Inbox headers to finish refreshing and then open the new email).
We use a 3rd party provider (Cobweb) for our email service and I believe they are using Exchange 2013.
We use ESET Smart Security Suite and I have tried disabling the scanner for that but see no change in the outcome. I would appreciate if anyone without ESET could try to reproduce these steps for themselves and confirm.
Starting Outlook in Safe Mode does not solve it.
    Note: I already asked this
question at the Office Community site and it was suggested I
post on the Exchange Server Outlook Clients forum. The feedback there suggested it to be client related, so now I've been directed to post here!
    Thanks,
    Marcel

Hi Melon, thanks for your response.
My plain text font is set up as the default, Automatic.
In any case, I can see the first 255 characters of the plain text body, so plain text font colour can be eliminated as a potential problem.
After the 255th character, the body text then stops. There are no "hidden characters". If I shrink the window height to accommodate just what I see, the vertical scrollbar does not appear. This confirms that there are no hidden lines of text
    below.
The mail is simply not downloaded from the server correctly. If I drag the mail onto my desktop, then view that file in Programmer's Notepad, I can see that after the position representing the 255th character in the body of the email, there is garbage (control
    characters).
If, instead, I first mark the email for downloaded and then click the "process marked headers", wait for it to download and then drag it onto my desktop, by contrast, the body contents look complete and this is reflected in the fact that I can
see the whole email when I open it in Outlook.
This problem has so far affected me on four different PC setups (1xWinXP, 3xWin7) and two versions of Outlook (2010 and 2013). However, Cobweb -- our cloud email provider -- did recently upgrade to Exchange 2013, so that might be an important factor.
I don't think I can remember seeing these plain text issues in the 10 years previous to that upgrade during which I've been using various flavours of Outlook.
I have supplied repro steps in the original report above. Could someone please try these? I have expanded them in full below for simplicity:
    To reproduce:
    1. Change your download preferences in Outlook. They are configured from the ribbon bar as follows (assuming you are using Outlook in Cached Exchange mode, connecting to Exchange 2013):
Send/Receive -> Download Preferences -> Download Headers (checked).
    2. Send yourself a plain text email containing more than 300 characters of text.
    3. Wait for the Inbox headers to finish refreshing.
    4. Open the new email.
Result: The email body will be truncated at the 255th character.
Expected: The email body should show all the characters.

  • Is iTunes broken in iOS 5.1.1?

Since updating my iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1.1 I have been having problems with iTunes.
The app is extremely slow, taking ages to load pages and it's all-but-impossible to synchronize and update podcast feeds.
Is there an acknowledged issue with this and is Apple working to fix it?
Is there a work-around (e.g. downgrading back to iOS 5.1)?

I had the exact same problem.
Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out.
Then Sign back in using Exisiting Apple ID.
Strange I know, but it fixed my problem.

  • Ready to throw the ipod through nearest window

I am at my wits end with this thing. It started out so good. Everything seemed to work. My 15 year old did all the installs got the itunes running, loaded tons of music, etc.
Then, suddenly, itunes no longer updates the ipod when you connect it.
I have tried: resetting it both connected and unconnected to the computer; updating ipod s/w; updating itunes s/w; lost count of the restarts on the PC... am sick of reading through documentation trying to find some inkling of why the sudden bs.
I plug it in, and it fires up itunes, but itunes never has 'my ipod' show up in the source list. 'My Computer' will show the ipod listed for a while, then it goes away.
over and over and over... no matter what I try.

    Nettie,
Just remember what you did to get it to work, because it seems that every other time I try to add music from Itunes I have to go through something. I'm glad it helped.
And I also take issue with Apple because from all I've read they seem to think these problems are an isolated incident. I love my Ipod but when this one is obsolete I'm looking into the Dell mp3 player because they at least have customer service that acknowledges issues. I would not have been so crazy if someone would just acknowledge that I'm not going crazy and there is a problem with the mp3 player and they are working to solve it. Say something! Don't igore us. That is going to lose you valuable customers.

  • WiFi Internet Sharing Suddenly not Working

I'm using a MacBook white early 2008 with Lion 10.7.5 installed on it
I have been using internet sharing features to share internet from my ethernet to WiFi for several years, and it's working fine
Suddenly today when i'm using iPhone, it stopped working.
My iPhone can connect to the WiFi network, but it can't connect to the internet shared by the MacBook.
What is the possible solution to this problem?
Is it hardware related? Maybe because i use the Internet Sharing features too much?
ps : When i'm using the WiFi to connect to another network, it works perfectly fine.

FYI - I spoke to Apple support earlier and this is still not an acknowledged issue. Ergo, no one is looking into it.
They have 'offered' to call me back when at home to go over my setup that was working fine in IOS5 but not IOS6 as the setup MUST be the issue. Not sure if I made things worse by pointing out that I'm and IT consultant and have worked with Apple systems for more years than I'd care to admit to.....
The support tech I spoke said that her home sharing works fine. Hmmmmm.
I'd suggest that EVERYONE puts in for a support callback (you can go through the iPad option and chose the 'I should get an exception for updating to ios6' option) and get them working.

  • Placed PDF Printing Poorly

Recently did an ad book that had a color inside back cover...it was a supplied PDF that I placed in my InD (CS6) doc, then supplied printer spread PDFs to digital print shop. The ad came out with drop shadows way out of position; ruined the ad. The printer blamed my PDF. I'd used the standard high quality printing export option when exporting the InD doc to PDF.
I tried printing the same PDF page on my color printer at office and it was fine, no problem at all.
Any ideas? See attached for side-by-side comparison of PDF the way it was furnished to printer alongside a scan of the page the way it was printed. The one on the right is the way it should've been printed.
    Thanks.

Peter, you mentioned:  He doesn't use/support InDesign (still a Quack shop).
I'll bet the "printer" placed your PDF in Quark for printing/imposition purposes.
This is a well known issue and has been going on forever. Even Quark has acknowledged issues with Quark 10 and has multiple updates.
I'll also bet that the "printer: has an older version of Quark with even more issues.
Ask them if they placed your PDFs into Quark for printing.
They may give you a honest answer, but they may not give you the complete truth, since this would mean that the issue was on their end and require a free redo of the job which costs them money.
Quark had a Best Practices: Transparency guide for QXP 8.1 which show the following:
And this was about a problem with placing a native QXP drop-shadow box over a picture in QXP
If they were having problems with elements that were created within QXP, I shudder to think of the issues they would have with PDFs created from other programs and placed in QXP

  • MB Pro shuts off at around 85% battery power.

I've been using the power adapter pretty much all the time with my MBP but now that I've been using it on battery power it has automatically shut off at around 85% battery power. I haven't always had the battery in while using the charger but for the last year I have. I'm not sure if that has any relevance.

Actually, it IS within the specification +for battery health+, which is what I stated above. Apple states, +"A properly maintained Apple notebook battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 300 full charge and discharge cycles."+ This is based on the reading for Full Charge Capacity in System Profiler. BGTD's full charge capacity is 5081 mAh, and the nominal new full charge capacity of a 15" MBP battery is 5500 mAh (rounded down, the calculated value is actually 5556 mAh). Even of the OP has a 17" MBP, the battery is still within health (though barely so - the denominator for a 17" MBP battery is 6300 mAh.
So, despite having an acceptable capacity (i.e., 'health'), the OP's MBP is shutting down with only 15% of the capacity used. As I stated, that's a symptom of a faulty battery.
Furthermore, you are also incorrect when you state, +"if your MBP is over 1 year old, Apple will NOT replace your battery."+ You can certainly state that Apple did not replace your battery free of charge, and I'm sorry for that! On the other hand, my health dropped suddenly to ~60% when my MBP was 16 months old. I +do not+ have AppleCare, and despite that, the Genius Bar replaced my battery for free. The page that I linked to (the top link) states, +"This program extends repair coverage on the battery for up to two years from the date of purchase of the computer for Intel Core Duo-based MacBook and MacBook Pro computers."+ I also pointed out that I am aware of Apple having replaced (for free) batteries of users with Core 2 Duo MBPs under the same program.
As I stated, the best bet is for the BGTD is to visit an Apple Store or call AppleCare and request a replacement battery, based on the information above. The answer may be "no," but I'd argue that it's worth a little effort to try and save US$130, given that there are known and Apple-acknowledged issues with some notebook batteries.

  • "Your computer does not support video chatting." Sometimes.

Hi, I'm on a MacBook late '08 and my pal has some earlier macbook.
We are on each other's bonjour list. The problem is that sometimes we can have a video conference no problem, and at other, random times, the option is grayed out, and if I go to preferences, the iSight green light goes on, but the window says my computer does not support video chatting, and that's the end of the story. How do I troubleshoot that? Thanks.

    Hi,
In the 5 years since iChat 2 came on the scene I have only managed 3 Video chats with people on Satellite connections.
The Issue is the time it takes to bounce the Signal Up and back to the Host server.
When you send for a Web page you send little data packets of requests.
Your computer does not send the next until the first is acknowledged.
It tends to improve once it is started and you may notice any downloads you do seem to get faster the longer they are going.
iChat requires for Video chat that the packets are almost Instantly responded to/acknowledged and most domestic modems do not do this.
Some commercial servers provide a Buffer at one end or the other that acts like the acknowledgement was sent speeding up the process and effectively getting the fastest service you can get out of the connection.
Speed testing your Connection tends to take long enough for the Acknowledgement issue to be reduced and will tell you the max speed you will possibly get
http://www.speedtest.net/ but not the start up speed.
With some services you can pay for the Buffering (I forget the actual name for it)

  • Advice on client server apps

    Hi
i would like to discuss some ways to help improve the connection between a mobile device and a remote server using sockets and http connection.
on my N95 device and on T mobile network, i sometimes struggle to connect to the remove server and was wondering if there is a way to improve this.
would using UDP be ideal has i have heard from someone that TCP is generely not good for wireless connections. what wil be the best approach to improve the perfiormance of wireless devices communicating with a remote server? thanks

hi. first and foremost, both tcp & udp need internet connection irrespective of there modes of operations. tcp is connection oriented since the server has to be in constant communication with the client due to acknowledgement issues while udp does not need acknowledgement. now according to my experience the whole issue is with the cellular service provider companies; they need to make their networks efficient. in my country the internet just stops being there for some several minutes before it resumes and under such circumstances i think both tcp and udp are bound to affected.
