Re-deploying projects to WC Spaces fails

I’m using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6 to rebuild and redeploy my 11.1.1.5 projects to WC Spaces(11.1.1.6). The Spaces pages run in a loop, not accessible to public.

everything worked fine if i relocated both the SDK and project dir. unfortunately most of our developers use SDK and project directories with spaces.

@mike - Ok I've updated my fork @ http://github.com/blegros/flexunit with the fix. If you don't want to build from source, you can download the flexunit.zip file from my fork and just pull the Ant task out to use temporarily. You can find the artifact from my fork's build @ http://flexunit.digitalprimates.net:8080/view/Contributors/job/blegros/lastSuccessfulBuild /artifact/flexunit.zip.

Deployment Application To Weblogic Server Failed

Hello every body
I need your help in this problem please :
I'm using Oracle JDeveloper 11.1 in my local machine, I Installed Weblogic Server 10.3 on the server and it's works well, I made new JDBC connection in Weblogic Server and it's works well too.
I made new ADF Fusion web Application and I used the same connection that I used in Weblogic server and it's works well.
I made new Application Server Connection from my local machine and It's works well with my user account.
In my project I made new WAR deployment, Also I configured my Application properties to Bind Application to the Weblogic server Instance.
1-when I try to deploy my project to Weblogic server I get this error message :

2-Another application was deployed before to Weblogic server, it seems running well, whereas Weblogic Server marks my deployment health as OK, but when I try to run it for test using this URL : http://serverIP:Port/Deployment Name, I get this Error : Error 403--Forbidden
What Should I do for both cases ?

Create Project Web App Site - Failed - see the Application event Log

Hi, we have installed MS Project Server 2010 on our LAB SharePoint 2010 Server (Single Server and SQL Server Database).
My farm admin account have all server roles in SQL, it is runng the OWSTimer also and it is the AppPool Service App.
No specific error in the Application log from eventvwr on SharePoint Server.
No specific error log from SQL

We have found the problem. The organisation was asking us to reduce the number of Dynamic TCP Port.
Our setup was only 3,975
Netsh Int IPv4 Show Dyn TCP
Protocol tcp Dynamic Port Range
Start Port      : 1025
Number of Ports : 3975
We have use this command to raise the number of port available to 60,000
netsh int ipv4 set dyn tcp start=1025 num=60000
Everything is working now.

Custom winsxs in deployment project

Inherited a VS2008 ActiveX project whose installation fails regsvr32 because of "side by side" error. Have set of DLLs and manifest and catalog that I believe will resolve "side by side" error. But how to tell setup and deployment project
to install the set of DLLs and manifest and catalog into target system Windows/winsxs folder? Thanks.

Carl, thanks for your time. I had seen and read the "Deploy a Setup and Deployment Project" and while it describes something close to what I need, it's not quite what I need. That page shows how to install an EXE and/or DLL that is dependent on
a Microsoft Merge Module, the merge module being found in Windows\winsxs.
I actually need to install some DLLs into Windows\winsxs.
I inherited the DLLs and associated CAT and MANIFEST files as well as matching CAT and POLICY redirection files. I need to get my setup project to install the DLLs and the POLICY redirection in Windows\winsxs but cannot find any documentation describing
how to do that.

Reporting (Project Publish) job is failing with 'The given key was not present in the dictionary'

I am using Project Server 2010 with SQL Server 2008 R2.
I have a PWA Instance which was running fine. I have a big number of projects and I do not keep site for all the projects as we do not need project site in our business.
Everything was running fine but during last few days, some of the jobs like Reporting (Project Publish) and Reporting (Project Delete) job is failing with the same error details for all the projects. I am not able to trace where the data is wrong/corrupt
and how to resolve it.
The error detail and ULS Log is given below anod I would appreciate if someone can guide me where the problem is and suggest me any solution.

Without seeing the history, one possibility might be some corruption in the reporting database. Assuming that you are following best practices for SQL DB management, and this is not a DB neglect problem, then I would try to force a refresh to see if that
helps. You can do this by executing a custom field backup and then restore. Note: Do not do this during production hours. Let us know if that provides any therapy.

I'm developing application with Kinect and I want to create an installer to distribute it. Also, I need to install .NET Framework 4.0 if it is not installed. I'm working with VS 2012, so I had to install InstallShield LE but does not seem to have the option
to add an external installer. Do you know how can I do it? Maybe with WiX projects or Nullsoft?

Application, Project And Work Space

Since i am very much new in JDeveloper although i have a good exposure of Forms Developer. Kindly tell me the relationship between Application, Project and Work Space in details with example.

Application = Workspace
and it contains several projects that are related to each other.
A project usually translate to something that you package in a JAR or WAR file - so a reusable thing.
A workspace bring together several projects that use components from one another.
A project can be included in several workspaces.

Deploying Project Server 2013 to an Existing SharePoint 2013 Farm

We recently deployed the following for our new SharePoint 2013 farm:
2 SQL server (alwaysOn config)
2 application servers
2 WFE
1 SQL for Dedicated Search
2 WFE for Dedicated Search
2 Applications Servers for Dedicated Search.
After purchasing a company that uses Project 2013 heavily we are now looking at deploying Project 2013 using our new 2013 SharePoint farm. My question is what is the recommended additional servers that would needed to be deployed to the existing farm?

Ric,
It really depends on what your current dataset is, and what the load on your SharePoint Server/Project Server. Technically, Project Server can just sit on top of your WFE and App Servers for SharePoint. You do not need a complete separate server group
for Project Server alone, unless there is a special reason to do so.

Action 15.0.0.1 of Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.Upgrade.FullFarmDependentProjectDatabaseSequence failed

Hi
I try to upgrade a Project Server 2010 environment to 2013. When I run
upgrade-spprojectwebinstance
it fails with:
Action 15.0.0.1 of Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.Upgrade.FullFarmDependentProjectDatabaseSequence failed
Anyone seen this error?

try to check the ULS log. There might be a hint, that there is a blocking job in the Project Server Queue. This can block the upgrade process.

Not deploying project successfully from bcc atg .

Hi All,
I am trying to create project from bcc atg merchandising and adding one asset(product) in that .
but it stuck in second last step .
I removed cache as well from prod server.
So please atg bcc expert help me.

Hi kakasaheb,
A full deployment copies all assets from the asset management server to a target site. A full deployment comprises two steps:
All assets are deleted from the target site.
All assets from projects that are currently and previously deployed to the target site are written to that site.
An incremental deployment only updates the site with asset changes from the deployed projects; these changes include add, update, and/or remove operations. This type of deployment is more efficient than a full deployment, especially when few site assets changed since the previous deployment.
Each agent stores the snapshot ID (current installed agent snapshot) that was received during deployment. The Content Administration records the snapshot ID (current effective snapshot) of what it last deployed. The error occurs when the CA server's snapshot ID does not match the agent's snapshot ID.
