Iam having problem while capturing the map..it is giving errors like...
ora-13249: SDO_NN cannot be evaluated without using index
ora-0652: at MDSYS.MD
ora-0652: at MDSYS.MDERR
ora-0652: at MDSYS.PRVT_IDX...
the particular sector is not capturing in the map...
and some times...
if we click outside the map also the particular sector which is nearer to cllicked point is getting captured...can you please help me regarding this..
its very urgent...

It is likely that the optimizer is picking a plan that does not use spatial index and SDO_NN requires spatial index to be used.
So you have to give hints to make sure Spatial index is picked for your query.
Something like this:
SELECT /*+ LEADING(b) INDEX(a cola_spatial_idx) */ a.gid
FROM cola_qry b, cola_markets a
WHERE b.gid =1 AND
SDO_NN(a.shape, b.shape, 'sdo_num_res=1')='TRUE';

We have a similar problem with ORACLE 10.2.0.3, SRID 31297, 2-dimensional data, points, lines polygon.
We installed a new Computer (WINDOWS 2003 Server, Oracle 10.2.0.3) and transfered an application from an existing Oracle 10.2.0.2 instance.
We transferred the data by exp/imp utility.
The creation of the index failed (during import or creating the index by a sql command)
for all tables with more than 2 mill rows with the following message:
SQL Error: ORA-29855: error occurred in the execution of ODCIINDEXCREATE routine
ORA-06512: at "MDSYS.SDO_INDEX_METHOD_10I", line 10
We did not get the ORA-13249 error.
For tables with less than 1 mill rows the index was created.
We decided to go back to Oracle 10.2.0.2 and all works fine.
We will upgrade the database to 10.2.0.3 when a patch will be available.

I want to get a count of all feedbacks (stored under /collaboration/feedback) created on a particular date. Since there are many sub folders, I am not able to use ICollection.
How can I read a folder or a repository without using IndexService.

I dont understand how can't use ICollection. What you want can be do it coding. The TREX and the Index search it works just to search on content.
I think what you have to do if Iterate on a IResource Object and the see if it is a file or a folder and keepp iterating, then when is a file, convert to an objects where you can get the feedback and count it.

Hi i have a macbook pro 15" from feb 2011. With snow leopard.
After upgrade to Lion, i canot shut down or restart.
I have to use the "on/off" bottom. in the right side of dashboard.
Have anyone any solution for that problem ?

How to remove the remaining parts of the application depends on the application as the different AV-Systems place there parts at different places and use different preference files.
At first check if the AV is still listed in the startup items (System Settings - Accounts - your account - startup items) and remove them from that list.

How to select an item in sap.ui.table.Table without using index?

I want to select an item of a sap.ui.table.Table by finding the right item and selecting it.
Take the example at this SDK page:
SAPUI5 SDK - Demo Kit
You have first name and last name. I want to select "Mo Lester". While there is a function called setSelectedIndex, there is no function for setSelectedItem.
I have to search the items of the table for a required entry and select it (like clicking on it).
Is there a way to do this (programatically)?
I'm using aggregation binding with a JSON model.

What you could do is first find the JSON object (i.e., the table row) in your table model, and use its index in the model to set the selected index:

Since using Maverick OS, I cannot quit mail without "force-quit".

Since I downloaded and started using Maverick OS, I cannot quit Mail without using the "Force-Quit..." command. The "Quit Mail" command under the Menu is greyed out.

You can also force quit apps using Activity Monitor located in HD > Applications > Utilities.
Select the CPU tab.
Select Mail under Process Name.
Select Mail then click the force quit icon (circle with an x) top left side of the Activity Monitor window.

It gets compiled successfully but when i run the report, i get 2 errors.
Error 1:
REP-1401: 'no_daysformula':Fatal PL/SQL error occurred.

Error 2:

Should i use only 1 return statement?
Can i use as many return statements as i want?
What is the exact mistake? Please let me know.

Let me clear you the first thing...
If you get any fatal errors while running the report (e.g., function returned without value,no value etc.,) the report will show
REP-0619: You cannot run without a layout.
So you just correct the function 'no_daysformula' .
First of all you run the report without that formula column.
If it works fine then , Check the return value of your formula column (Your formula column properties --> Return value --> value (It will be DATE as i think so).
As function will always return a single value, Check your formula 'no_daysformula' returns the same.
declare a return variable say for example..
DECLARE
V_DATE DATE;
BEGIN
--YOUR CODE---
RETURN V_DATE := (RETURN VALUE)
END;
Last but not least ... use Else condition to return (NULL or any value ) in your code and check..

Simple interface between two schemas in the same oracle database (10g)
I am trying to copy one table and do one simple lookup (in a table located in 3rd schema on the same database)
Integration task fails on
ODI-1228: Task messagexml_document (Integration) fails on the target ORACLE connection S2_P1.
Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-22950: cannot ORDER objects without MAP or ORDER method
Can anybody tell me, what I am doing wrong? Code that generate this error is just a simple INSERT with SELECT and sub SELECT with JOIN?
I just can't find anything about this error.

I discovered that one of my fields is an XMLType field and is a part of comparison ODI do when it tries to do incremental update. The error message here is just a message from db that it can't compare XMLType fields to each other.
Is there any way to learn ODI to not to compare by XMLType field?

I have a Parent-Detail-Relationship. At the Detail-Block a "When-create-record" sets some default values on the Detail-Block.
I got error "FRM-41106 You cannot create records without a parent record" when the Parent-Block executes a execute_query.
I debuged the problem an found out, that the error appears in the standard-programunit "Clear_All_Master_Details".
The error appears, when the code is deleting the detail-block "code: Clear_Block(NO_VALIDATE)".
This is strange: The error appears only when I uses the "When-create-record"-trigger on the detail-block.
If a comment out the trigger, no error appears.
Why Is a "When-create-record"-trigger initiated when deleting the detail-block?

To be honest, I've always done this kind of thing in the Pre-Inse rt or Pre-Upda te triggers. Why is it so important for the user to see the value of these field BEFORE the IN SERT or UPDAT E? Once the record is commited, they will see these values in your form. In my experience - users are typically satisfied with this approach. If your users are not OK with this approach, perhaps you could us a When-Validate-Record trigger instead of the When-Create-Record trigger.
I think the When-Create-Record option would still work, but your code will need a little tweak. Give the following a try:

   END IF;Remember, NULL values do not always get evaluated correctly so it is always best to use the NVL function to ensure fields are evaluated correctly.
BTW, you indicated that you ran DEBUG on your trigger, when your IF statement was evaluated did the "set_Values" section of your code run? If it didn't - do you have other code in your WCR trigger that is setting values outside of your IF statement?
