have you registered your system online? Doing so would lead to the warranty status being automatically updated, although this does take some time.

Also, if there should be a need for warranty service and the database shows your system being out of warranty, but your invoice shows otherwise, the date on the receipt will be accepted as the purchase date.

Cannot find the warranty status (t400s)

hello, I bought this t400s (2815-w14) a little bit more than a month ago in Germany. but still the warranty status cannot be found on Lenovo's website. it shows:

should I contact the dealer or Lenovo Support to get this problem fixed?

Lenovo 1 Year Warranty Status appears incorrect on H430

I am new to Lenovo and this forum...
(Thank you to Andy for getting me started with my other problem, "H430 Recovery Disk".)
My next problem:    The One Year Lenovo "Warranty Expiration" is not correct as displayed on the Lenovo on-line "Warranty Status" web page.
My new Lenovo model   "H430"   machine's warranty status is listed as July 2013 on the Lenovo Warranty Status web page.      However,   I purchased the H430 machine only 3 days ago on 21 August '12.
Background info:    By telephone, a Lenovo rep in Atlanta told me my "H430" was   "idea"   branded and he gave me a phone number for "idea"...      which connected me with Miles at the Lenovo center in the Philippines.    It was difficult to understand Miles... but I understood him to say that I should send a "scanned" copy of the receipt by email to Lenovo.     Again,   difficult to understand but I understood Miles to give me the following email address: [email protected]
After emailing the scanned receipt to that address,     I received a message from my Hotmail.com email provider which said something to the effect of:
"Warning, your email has been DELAYED.   You do not need to re-transmit your email"
Can anyone tell me if    "[email protected]"    is in fact the correct email address I should use to send the scanned receipt with my purchase date...    ie. to allow the Lenovo Corporation to correct the one year warranty status date as displayed on the "warranty status" web page ?

Thank you for the follow up...   I am sorry about not responding sooner. For some reason it took a while between the 1st Hotmail error message which said "my email was delayed"   until the 2nd Hotmail message which said my email with the scanned purchase receipt was "not deliverable".   Unfortunately because of my concerns regarding obtaining warranty service on the Lenovo H430,    I have already exchanged the H430 for another computer.    So... since I no longer own the H430 I will not be following up on obtaining the correct email address to transmit the "scanned" purchase receipt to correct the warranty status expiration date. Thank you for taking the time to follow up on this for me.   /mike

Incorrect warranty status

i have purchased my hp pavilion (p018tu) laptop on 6th of feb 2015 , but now as i am checking my warranty status it shows standard waranty ends on 11/15/2015. as it would be rightly end to be on feb of 2016.

T61 Warranty Status

One day after i purchased this laptop i checked the warranty status ( in http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=LOOK-WARNTY#sw ) and it was said the warrany will expired onJuly 2011 , and then i went to IBM service center to have my warranty date updated to November 2011 because i purchased this laptop in Nov 2008 .
However today i tried to check the warrany status again but the site said that my warrany status could not be found , how come ?

It takes 4-5 working days to properly update the database.

Copier warranty status

Dear Gents,I checked on the warranty status for my Xerox copier workecentre model 5675 , sn, : 3634220690 , on the link (www.office.xerox.com/smart/entitlements), it answered me alright but the answer page header was (Printer Entitlement) not copier, so is it possible to have the same serial no. for a Xerox copier and printer?Thanks and best regards.

The terms are pretty interchangeable in this day and age. Also MFP (Multifunction device) The 5675 is both a copier and a printer, they just add a network card and PDL interpreter to the copier to make it a printer. There is no chance that when looking up your serial number you are seeing someone elses printer status.

I bought an used ipod touch gen 4 but I can't check the warranty status of my device. Could anyone help me please!

I did use the serial number of my ipod to check on Apple website but there is no result for my ipod. They required me to provide the purchase date, which I don't know because my ipod is a 2nd hand device. I tried to reset my ipod and activate it again but it doesn't work and itunes gives me an error message.

Dell Command | Integration Suite for System Center Warranty Status integration to SCCM database

So does anyone know if the new Dell Command | Integration Suite for System Center 4.0 has the same capability as DCIP 3.1 to add the warranty status to the SCCM DB? I can't seem to find any info on it.

OnPlus not providing new Contract/Warranty status updates

The Cisco Contract/Warranty notification function in OnPlus is currently not providing new updates.
The Product Contract/Warranty function of OnPlus displays product up-to-date information regarding the Contract status and Warranty for supported Cisco devices. This function is currently not providing new updates to those devices in OnPlus and the OnPlus engineering team is working on a resolution to the problem.
Status updates for other product lifecycle information about Cisco devices, such as, Software and Hardware End-of-Life, Product Security Alerts, and Field Notices are available in OnPlus.

WHY MY WARRANTY STATUS NOT UPDATED TO LENOVO?

i just get my LENOVO S10 6 cells and with 2 years warranty activation code, i have called to LENOVO to update the warranty.. after few days, i check again through lenovo website but it still remain 1 year.. WHY so lousy one?

it takes a few days to get the warranty updated, sometimes it will take 3 weeks..... just be patient, if it doesn't work out in two weeks, then you should call Lenovo in Malaysia..... also currently many people have entered holiday, the work output do drop during this time period...
