Dear All ,
I am using Read Current line sattement as follows .
read current line field value
                  t_type4-bukrs into t_temp-bukrs
                  t_type4-belnr into t_temp-belnr
                  t_type4-NETCODE into t_temp-NETCODE
                  t_type4-UMSKZ into t_temp-umskz
                  t_type4-waers into t_temp-WAERS .
   t_type4-WRBTR into t_temp-WRBTR
t_type4-UKURS into t_temp-UKURS .
I have commented the marked line it works fine . But I want to read WRBTR and UKURS also but it gives short DUmp.
These fields are frim BSID table . PLease Help me .

The problem surely lies in terms of variable definition... Change the defn of t_temp-wrbtr and ukurs to character...think it should work fine after that.

If you have new editor you would be able to see the line number.
Or in the Dump screen - there is a button called Debugger - click that you would be able to see the code where dump has occured.. you would be able to find the line number from there.
To get the new editor with line number , you need to change the settingsin SE38.

so, I need to capture the key fields to read the internal table for the get the value in next screen .

which is not helping me ....
Can any one guide me how to read those values apart from get cursor values keyword

Hi,
first you have to find the current position of the cursor:
GET CURSOR { { FIELD field [field_properties] }
| { LINE line } }.
then you read your internal table with that information
READ TABLE int_table index line.

Read current line of structure

Hi,
I have need to read a structure (non internal tables) at the current line.
With internal tables I use :
DATA: riga_corrente LIKE sy-stepl.
GET CURSOR LINE riga_corrente.
READ TABLE itab INDEX riga_corrente.
but with the structure don't work.
Is it possible?

GET CURSOR FIELD pt9653-ztipo_docente LINE riga_corrente.
READ TABLE pt9653 INTO wa_doc INDEX riga_corrente.
After GET CURSOR FIELD statement, in the field pt9653-ztipo_docente, I always have value 'PT',
but on the screen I enter other values.

Acrobat Reader command line problem

In windows xp professional I'm programatically creating a batch file and executing it (shell command in visual basic) to convert pdf files to Microsoft xps.
The batch command looks like this one:
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 10.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" /t "D:\MyDir\Microsoft XPS Document\x.pdf" "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" /t "D:\MyDir\Microsoft XPS Document\x.xps".
When the user logged in on the machine is an administrator, acrobat reader does the operation silently. When a normal user (not belonging to administrators group) is logged in on the machine, acrobat reader opens the save as dialog window requiring user interaction.
The normal user has full control over the destination directory. I already tested giving the normal user full control over AcroRd32.exe and over cmd.exe with no success. I also tried in visual basic 2008 executing the command through System.Diagnostics.Process.Start with the exact same curious results.
Can someone help.

I couldn't find a solution within Adobe for the problem I reported Oct 9, 2012, so I went to a fallback solution aimed to complete the needed stages. I'm posting here the visual basic 2008 code I wrote then. It is not a graceful solution and has some coarse code but was designed as part of an application that must keep processing files without user intervention. You can use the variable <tablecontrol>-Currentline as Ebus says but there is a problem with this.Suppose there are 10 records in the table control with only 5 records visible then when u press a page down and press F4 the first record in page 2, <tablecontrol>-Currentline will have value of 1 instead of 6.So you will need to write a small logic for that.
index = ( <tablecontrol>-topline - <tablecontrol>-currentline ) + 1.
read internal table itab at index.

SapScript, How do I read the current line number?

I have sections of text - each in it's own element with an 'include' of the standard text.
These sections are variable in size.
All elements are in the MAIN window.
I do not want a paragraph to split over two pages.
How do I read the current line number within the sapscript before the section prints so I can issue a new-page command at the beginning of the paragraph?

Yes, that does work for paragraphs.
If I have multiple elements to print from within a loop where "at first, at each and at last" each call the Sapscript funtcion write_form - how can I keep the whole section together. protect/endprotect will keep each element together but not the group of elements.
There must be a way to find the current line number.

Can the current line be highlighted using a background color or have the cursor flash?

I use the split screen and left click in the Design pane to jump to where I want to be in the Code pane in Dreamweaver CS6. The problem is that it can be very hard to tell where the cursor is in the Code pane since the cursor doesn't flash.
Is there a way to force Dreamweaver CS6 to change the background color of the currently selected line or at least have the cursor flash in both panes? There must be some way to make it easier to find the current line of code.

Thanks. I've been doing that, but sometimes there is no text to highlight. I hoped Dreamweaver might have a hidden setting that I could enable. That's a lot of extra sliding of the hand/wrist for no good reason when it would be easy for the Dreamweaver programmers to change the background color of the current line or make the cursor flash or do something else to indicate where you are in the code besides making the user constantly make a smearing action with the mouse. All of those extra movements add up the wear and tear when you're trying to avoid getting a repetitive stress injury, especially if you already use mouse gestures in a browser.

Goods despatched against to future schedule line rather than a current line

Hi Guys,
We have a problem with future schedule line in PSA being ordered in the same time once previous lines is still open ( not yet issued and received).I thought it is related with Delivery creation where in VL10f you can select future line rather than any current lines.Even though when I selected any future entries, goods were despatched against to first open lines on delivery schedule therefore I has nothing in common.
Have you seen it before and know what could cause that?

Satellite 3000 screen vertical line problem

my laptop is Satellite 3000 , it got vertical line problem now, i wanna use a outside CRT screen to replace the current damaged LED screen.
I have tried to use FN-F5 swap key, but it is still doesn't work, i tried to log in the system to check it, (the system (windows xp) is normal), but i can't see anything because the screen is black, it won't get in the system even if i connected it in to the LAN, because the laptop network function configuration is not allow connect with internet,( i did ghost before it completely damaged), the question is :
1, do i need to configure something so as to it can use outside screen in windows XP system? or just use FN-F5 swap key?
2, how will i do next step if i wanna use the outside screen ?

If the notebook is preinstalled with all Toshiba designed tools and utilities FN+F5 key combination should work. Of course the external monitor should be connected properly.
If you are missing some tools FN+F5 key combination will not work.
What I want to know is what happens exactly when you use FN+F5 key combination? Stays the LCD screen black or switch to the right picture again? As far as I know if you use FN+F5 key combination and LCD on the notebook stays black that means the signal is send to external device but if the monitor is not connected properly or there is some contact problem you will not see the content on external monitor.
Believe me it is not easy to say what is wrong there but if possible try to test it with different monitors. Satellite 3000 is pretty old notebook model and maybe is RGB port defective.

Could somebody tell me how to read file line by line ? Namely my input file I want to read look as follow:

12 222 12
AAA 2, 2
11 122 11
My output file should look as follow:
1, 1, 12
1, 1 222

2, 2, 11
I think the lines need to be stored in ArrayList, then I would like those lines to write to csv file, but how on read I can construct such output file? This is my code for reading file

The rules for the conversion from input to the desired output are:
1. For each of the line with string take 2 integers for example 1, 1 from AAA 1, 1
2. Then repeat 1, 1 for each next number not containing any string, so if the line after AAA, 1, 1 has 12, 222, 12 then the output will look as follow
1, 1, 12
1, 1 222
1, 1, 12
3. Repeat the process (the pattern is the same 1 line with string 1 line with numbers)
Actually I am not sure how to perform that logic for such conversion as for now I am only able to list only the numbers but I have a problem to add numbers from the line having string in it.

You should NOT be writing code if you are 'not sure how to perform that logic'.
You are getting ahead of yourself.
There is NOTHING to gain by trying to code a solution before you know what algorothm you need. Big mistake.
Should I use list or maybe if the patter for lines is the same array will be more sufficient?

Those are 'solutions' used to implelment an algorothm.
You do NOT yet know what algorithm you need to use so how can you possibly write code to implement the unknown?

THAT is the question your thread subject should have.
Until you get the answer to it don't write any code,.
Do NOT try to automate what you can't do manually.
Write down, on paper or use an editor, the step by step 'logic' you need and walk through that logic from beginning to end until the 'logic' works and produces the correct result.
You just now have started to do that when you listed those rules above.
But you left some things out. Expand on that list of 'rules' and provide a little more example data. TPD has given you a good example. Reread what they said.
Did you notice they start by talking about 'tasks': what each task does and the order the tasks need to be performed.
That 'task list' has NOTHING to do with Java, C, or any other language: it is identifying the problem/algorithm. Until you have that coding is premature.

Intermittent noisy line problem

Hi. Just about tearing my hair out over a line problem which has been giving trouble on & off for over 6 months. The line becomes very noisy from time to time, depending on weather it seems. We have had similar problems ever since moving here 13 years ago - the line runs overhead through woodland for about 4km to the exchange - and each time it is a corroded wire due to water penetration somewhere along the route.
This time the engineer cannot locate the fault. He agreed there was noise but the equipment he had could not locate where it was. He advised calling another engineer when it was bad and hopefully he would be able to locate it. However, I have just noticed that BT has charged me £127 for the visit, even though there was no suggestion that the fault lay with the internal wiring or equipment - heck, I even gave the guy a cuppa tea!
Any advice on (a) getting the charge reversed and (b) getting the fault sorted. Sometimes the line is so bad I have to resort to mobile, and the broadband speed can drop to a few hundred kbps. Grrrrrr.
