Real time Broadcast messaging

Hi,
we have configured broadcast messaging. But its not happening real time. we have to logoff ICWC and then relogin.
have i missed any setting. Please let me know.

Hello Aditya, Pedro,
I had the same problem as you.
The issue was resolved by clearing the Java Cache.
I have proceed as follow :
Start à Control Panel à Java
On the 'General' tab, select the 'Settings' button under the 'Temporary Internet Files'
Then click 'Delete Files...' on the Temporary Files Dialog
Agree to delete all Applications, Applets and log/trace files
Disable the option “Keep temporary files on my computer”
Go to C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache and delete all the files.
As the result the BroadcastBar.htm is refreching real time in ICWC.

Real-Time Outbound Message Time-Out

Hello,
Could anyone give advice on how to properly handle Time-out errors when sending Real-time Outbound Messages?
On the XAI Sender, I have set the HTTP Timeout context value to 30 (I'm assuming this is 30 seconds), but the server just keeps on retrying to send the message and eventually takes about 1-1.5 minutes before it eventually stops trying.
Also, does anybody have any ideas on how to indicate the page is currently busy while trying to send the outbound message?

If you use RTHTTPSNDR on xai sender then you must use invocation type as realtime on externalsystem( you can define xsl for both request and response)
If you use HTTPSNDR then you must use invocation type as XAI (for which you can define a request xsl but not response xsl)
so my advice is to go with RTHTTPSNDR and define both request and response xsl files
MOST Important your xai sender never gets refreshed unless you restart your ccb server this is because invocation is REALTIME
if you use HTTPSNDR then just by going to xai command you can refresh mpl refresh sender command
I think its a bug in ccb 2.3.1 sender doesnt gets refreshed with new values
Now for the purpose if you can post your request schema and then the request xsl and the response xsl ,ill clear your doubt happily.

CC&B not populating response to real-time Outbound Message

I have a real-time Outbound Message which is sent to webMethods via SOAP with the HTTP Sender (not RTHTTPSNDR). In my BO Schema, I have the response element defined as:
<responseMessage type="raw" mapField="XML_RESPONSE"/>
The Outbound Message is successfully sent and the webMethods response updates the message to 'Complete' but there is no data in the response tab on the Outbound Message in CC&B. For my testing, I simply want a single element of <status> populated in the response.

Receiving the error message while executing the Real Time DTP

I am receiving the error message while executing the Real time DTP for Billing data.
Error Message - Record filtered in advance as error records with the same key exist RSM2 722
When I check the logs below is the message I am able to see. Can someone suggest as how to proceed further.
Diagnosis
The existing DTP requires a serialized update because fields are updated
non-commutatively during the processing run (for example, MOVE).
Therefore all new data records that have the same semantic key as
incorrect records that have not yet been corrected in earlier requests
or earlier data packages of the same request, are filtered out after the
extraction in a special step. In this way the system ensures that
incorrect data records are not repeated for your changes, which may not
contain errors themselves.

The data record is not updated but is written to an error stack.

Correct all incorrect data records and update them using an error DTP.

I checked the error stack and corrected the entries and let me know as how to proceed further. I am unable to execute the Error DTP as its not allowing me to edit and has only display options.

What you say about Send Later timestamp is correct.
When you click Send or Send Later a time is set regardless of when you actually sent the Send Later email.

Since you have mentioned ECC5.0,Assuming that the client is generating the following reports in ECC,already:
The Production report (ZPRD)
Wastage Report (YWR)
A Charge Register Report
then brainstorm the PP functional consultant and try to pick the R3 Fields from the reports.Then its all about mapping them to the BW Info objects.
If these reports are not maintained at ECC ,then you need to have sessions with the users/PP Consultant to decide whether u can go ahead with BC or get some customizing done..

You can use Text.ScrollPosition property node for autoscrolling.

Real Time Job with no Message Target?

Hi All. I'm curious to know if anyone has built a real time job without an xml message target. I thought that any message source 'getting' from a Topic does not require a response. Well data services is not letting me get away with not having the message target.
The message I'm receiving is one that I want to insert into a table, it is not being used in a lookup to then send out a new record out to a message target.
Real Time jobs are still a new concept to me. Thanks in advance for your help.

Try using a row generation transform, generate one row and pass a hard coded value as output message. You cannot do away with an output message in the case of real time.

There is no work around. You would look to use a service, like Twitch, you get a embed code for the live stream, you put that on a page and away you go. All depends on the service your using.
