Really need help...can't get my old songs to reload onto my ipod. The only songs that will load are ones I have purchased recently on my iphone. I can see all my music in my library. Help please!
Hi everyone..I really need some help! My computer went in for repair and cleaning. The music in my itunes library at the time was backed up on discs. I had not resynced my ipod touch with computer since that occurred in May of this year. Since then I have purchased an iphone and some new music was purchased as well. My phone has the new music (which is about 100 songs). Yesterday I decided I was ready to get everything organized and put all my music on my ipod and my apps on my phone. I have, as it would appear, reloaded all my music back into my library (a little over 1000 songs) as I can see the music and I can open and play it through itunes. I have resynched my ipod touch. All the music that was on my ipod touch has now been taken off and the only music that synched with it is the music I have purchased since I bought my iphone (only about 100 songs). Can't get all music on my ipod at all. Additionally, my account is not recognizing the touch as one of my devices. Any help at all would be appreciated!
You can contact Apple and request a 1-time redownload of your lost purchases. Of course, they prefer you follow some of these recommendations on backing up your purchases.
I think the e-mail form on this page is the best place to start for requesting the replacement download.

If you are searching within iTunes, all the Apps are for iDevices. To find Apps for the MacBook, you will need to search using the Mac App Store.

Are you using mirroring or using airplay within iTunes? If you are truly mirroring then you can view anything that is displayed on your computer through Apple Tv

If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Frequently when I use Firefox it will all of a sudden freeze. It no longer will accept any user input from the keyboard or mouse. I cannot click on any of the open tabbed pages I have or on my bookmarks or any of the menu buttons. Nothing works. When it happens if it is loading a page it will just freeze in the middle of loading it. I've tried to see if the freezes are caused when it loads certain types of content (java, flash, etc...) but there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when it happens or with what types of pages. I cannot find a pattern. The ONLY button that works is the close button in the upper right hand corner (X). I can click on that and then Firefox will prompt me with it's regular message asking me if I want to save and quit, quit, or cancel. I'll hit save and quit and then reopen Firefox. It opens my tabs and if I was in the middle of a post it generally will still remember the text I've typed (except Facebook!).
It's beginning to drive me nuts and I'm really hoping to find a fix to this.You will also notice that your shift key will be emulated. Meaning that keys you will try to press will press but they will act like you are pressing the shift key when you are doing them.
Try this, minimize the firefox window by pressing the tab on your taskbar. After doing that maximize it again. You will magically be able to click any link on your page. When you navigate to a new page however, the entire situation will start all over. My only remedy is rebooting and hoping it doesn't happen again soon. -

I can't get a TV Show manually moved onto my iPod!
Okay, so my computer's hard drive doesnt' have enough space for me to back up the entirety of what I have on my iPod (I have the 80GB Classic). I just bought a season of a TV Show (accidentally twice but I contacted support about that) but when I try to manually move the episodes onto my ipod in iTunes it says this: the iPod "my ipod's name" is currently linked to another iTunes library on the computer "my computers' name". In order to copy this TV show to this iPod you must link this iPod with this iTunes library. Doing this will remove 15 videos, including (name of one of the movies I have on it), from this iPod.
I don't want this to happen, I don't have my stuff backed up, so why would I want to erase it? How do I get this one freaking tv show onto my iPod? I have it set to move manually and when I go to try to just sync it not manually it says it will erase everything and replace it with what I have in the library, which is the one tv show I just downloaded, which obviously I don't want to do.
Am I just sol on this?I've always done manually manage, where I just drag it and drop it into my iPod, hope that makes sense. But when I try to do it this time it says what I listed above and when I try to uncheck the manually manage it says that all existing stuff on my iPod, which would be EVERYTHING since none of it is backed up right now, would be removed and replaced with this one thing, which I don't want either.
And it keeps saying my Ipod is currently linked to another library on my computer but I don't see any other ITunes library other than the one that has this one tv show on it. How do I find this phantom mystery library? -
how can I access me photos that are saved on a separate hard-drive (as back up) from the old iphoto to the new Photos?
My 6 month old MacBookPro was stolen a month ago and I have not have had a chance to migrate them pictures yet. And now the system says it can not be accessed!!
Having one's computer stolen is bad, not to be able to recover one's photos is even worse....
Can anybody give me a hint how to do this???

Thank you very much for your concern, I did try the way you suggested but no result. In me library I only found some 4 pictures dated between 2012 and 2013, and then maybe 70 from 2014 and a couple of hundred from this year.... all the other thousands are not there....

Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

This is a silly question, but I cannot fix it! The icons that appear on my photos after I edit them, have gone away. The only way I can see them is in the Grid view.

TIA =)You have likely dragged the size of the filmstrip thumbnails to a small size that prevents Lightroom from displaying the badges. Using your mouse, mouse over the top line of the filmstrip and then drag it supports to increase the size.

I can't copy purchased songs from iTunes onto my iPod on my new computer.
I have an HP Pavilion zd7000 notebook computer. It's used. It was given to me by a family member. I put my iPod software onto it. I can purchase songs from iTunes, and I can connect my iPod and play the music. However, when I tried to put a purchased song from iTunes onto my iPod, I was told that I wasn't allowed. Is there some sort of security thing I don't know about?

Are you sure your computer is authorized for this? This is probably your issue.
If you go to the "Advanced" tab on the top in iTunes, is there a "Deauthorize computer..." button or an "Authorize computer..." button? If there's an "authorize computer" link, then that is your issue. Authorize your computer, and you should be able to transfer iTMS purchased songs from iTunes to iPod.
