when i tried to upgrade in the past, i could access NOTHING. the only upgrade that would work with my mac osx 10.3.9 was the firefox 2.0.0.20.
please let me know which of your upgrades will work with my operating system.
i cannot lose contact with all my accounts. that is what happened the last time i tried to upgrade.
Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the last version of Firefox that works on OS X 10.3.9

While attempting to set up my new iPhone for iTunes the first time, an error message displayed on my computer saying that I needed to restore it to my factory settings and the only function that the iPhone displays is the message listed above.
that's the exact same thing that happened to my iPhone 5. (see my thread) Well that occured after I downloaded the iOS 6.2. The very same image appeared to my phone. What I did was (well the situation left me no option) restored it to factory settings. However, your iTunes must dowload (i think) new version of software for your phone. It took me 3 hrs!. But I also have to warn you. It may still ask you to restore again, and again, and again, after each restoration.
What I did was, disconnect the cable from your phone and computer, then press the power and home button together, hold it down lke that till the apple logo appears. The phone successfully worked but Siri & the voice command keep messing with my calls, playing music by itself, returning to home by itself. -
I have the same photo in an album and in camera roll. I am trying to delete the photo from the camera rol and the only option that i get is : delete everywhere? Noooooo i just want to delete it from camera roll!!!!!
The way that I understand that it works, is that the photos are not copied into the new albums, instead it just points to the photos - the number of photos on the iPad in Settings > General > About doesn't increase when you create new album so I assume from that that it isn't copying the photo, just pointing to it. So if you delete the photo from the camera roll you will therefore also be deleting all the pointers to it

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove may not be the one named in the update notice. For example, the App Store could prompt you to update "Angry Birds" or "Twitter," but the hacked app could be "Final Cut Pro." Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you must carry out a systematic search with Spotlight.
1. Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

2. In the Finder, press command-F to open a search window, or select

from the menu bar. In the search window, select

Other...
A sheet will drop down. In that sheet, select
Raw Query
as the criterion, then click OK or press return.
Now there will be a text box to the right of the menu of search criteria. That's where you enter the raw search query. Click in that box and paste the text you copied earlier by pressing command-V.
3. The search window will now show all the App Store products that are installed. Compare those search results with the list of your purchases from the App Store. To see the complete list, you may need to unhide hidden purchases. If any apps were download from the App Store using other Apple ID accounts that you control, sign in to the store under each of those ID's and check the purchases.
4. At least one of the apps in the Spotlight search results is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash, after quitting it if it's running. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
5. Quit and relaunch the App Store. Test.

I was in the middle of opening up pintrest when my phone screen went black and won't turn back on. The only thing that works is siri... My lock button also doesn't work so I can't manually restart my phone. When I try to restore my phone i have to turn off find my phone but i cant because the screen is black.. Well, you can't perform a reset then. What happens when you plug the phone into a power source? If nothing, then you'll have to make an appointment at any Apple store. The genius bar will offer you an out of warranty replacement. Cost is US $269.

I was running firefox 3. ? with little difficulty. the new 4.0 upgrade came out and I hit the button to update only to find that I was unable to use it. I had to search my archives, to find firefox 2 which allowed me to find a browser that I could use: Opera. It works well but I can't use netflix watch instantly etc... HOw can this be remedied.

The port has a small silver knob next to the pins that is preventing the adapter from connecting. I've never seen a port that looks like this and the tech specs say that the port should be a magsafe 2. Has anyone seen anything like this before? I've included a picture

I have just upgraded to mountain lion and want to use the icloud. However, years ago I set up a mobile me account and can not remember my password. The email account I set up originally as a default email no longer exists so when I try and set up a new password I am unable to because I can't access the email address I put on file. Can anybody help?
Are you particularly attached to your ex-MobileMe email address? - it sounds as if you haven't actually used it for very long time. Your easiest option would be to use the ID you have logged in with here to open an iCloud account and choose a new @icloud.com address.
If you really want to reactivate the MobileMe email address (which is also the ID for that account) you will need to contact Support. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'All Products and Services' in the first column, 'More Products and Services' in the second column, then 'Apple ID' in the third column. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' in the first column then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password' and click 'Continue'. You will be offered options to contact Apple by phone. -
About 45 minutes ago my iphone 5S just shut off on its own. I have tried charging it only to have the white screen with the black apple showing. How can this be repaired?
Keep it plugged in and do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignoring he red slider if that appears.

How in the world do i get my lost Album back?
I purchased a Album from Itunes on my iphone, Played it for several days. Then when I synced my phone to my laptop, the album is no longer there. It shows up in the Itunes on my computer but only as the digital booklet, which you are supposed to get after a purchase.
I tried downloading all songs into itunes, that didnt work. I tried logging out of my account with no avail. I tried seeing if i could go into iTunes again and buy redownload it. But it showes that I have to purchase it again...
Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone else had this issue? I can't continue to reset my phone, it takes over an hour each time to reset and re enter all the settings and email accts. If I'm out of town when it happens, I have no phone till I get back home. I asume it must be a software problem, I've deleted most of my apps, don't know what else to do
