Rebate Form Hassles - Guaranteed

Really? This is the best customer service the company can do for a replacement rebate form? The company that CREATES the software that creates PDFs can't seem to send a PDF rebate form as a replacement? You've got to be kidding me.
My bad - I misplaced the form which came in my PSE9 box. Yes, it's a rebate-eligible purchase, from Amazon, with the form in the box, the whole nine yards. I had the form out, with the ol' "tab 1", invoice, and was sidetracked for some time. It seems impossible, but now, for the life of me, I can't find the form anymore. I've looked everywhere. And, yes, I really had it in my hands.
Now, perhaps a call to customer service would help? Perhaps two calls? Do I hear three? Yes, we're working on three. But with 2 out of 3 agents telling me I'd have the form in my email box by day's end - only after escalating it to a higher authority. After all, you can't trust something as earth-shaking as a rebate form with your lower level employees. Oh my goodness, no!
I mean, it's only every other company out there that actually lets you buy something, go to their site and download a form, or even <gasp> submit the thing online! But, we're talking about an advanced technology company with Adobe. ADVANCED, I tell you! We gotta go the ol' pen and paper route here, and heaven help you if you lose the form.
Why is this critical right now? Because there's also an artificially imposed deadline of 6 weeks to submit the silly thing - despite the fact that the rebate offer goes clear until the end of the year. You'd think a company that allows me to download several hundred megabytes of their creative suite would surely be able to provide a link to a PDF rebate form. Oh, maybe they only have the free Reader and can't actually create a PDF. That must be it. They must not have the full version.
Email. It's quick, right? Not in Adobe's world. The agent today said it would be another 24-72 hours. When I suggested 3 days would then be past the submission deadline, she said, that's not with my level of service. When I suggested there was not only way too many hoops to get a replacement form, but also inconsistencies in what the various agents seemed to know about it, she got a little short. I suggested - nicely even - that perhaps she mention to the higher ups some better training so that when the same customer talks to different agents, they would at least get the same story. She didn't seem to like that at all.
Oh, one more thing, Adobe. If you're going to ask the date, serial number, place of purchase, etc. when I call, assign a case number, and store that info, then PLEASE tell your agents to NOT attempt to waste my time by asking it all over again each time. The guy - on day two - started into all that, and I said, "You should have all that in your notes from my first call, right?" He said, "Oh, probably, I'm just now reading them." Well, read them FIRST, then talk to me. What's the use of some advanced case-recording system if you're going to ignore the notes as step 1?
Been a customer of Adobe since PS3, years ago. I have hundred's of dollars of Adobe software at home and we have thousands here at work. Sure would be nice to be able to get my $20 rebate form without running me through the mill after making a simple mistake of misplacing the original.

even though the offer ended the 16th, if you purchased before then, then you are still able to claim your rebate as long as its postmarked by the date noted when you originally purchased your macbook

Elements 9 - No $20.00 rebate form in box ?

I purchased Photoshop Elements 9 online from Costco.com. I was under the impression there is a $20.00 rebate form in the box. My box has no such form included. I searched on other sites and see there is a pdf form, but you can only use the original form included with the software package.
My question is: How do I get an original copy of the rebate form to submit for the $20.00?

I would also like to add that I purchased Elements 9 through Amazon.com because it had free shipping and advertised it with the $20 rebate. The problem I just discovered upon receiving my order is that the only way to receive the rebate through Amazon.com is if the form comes in the box, which mine did not. Because Amazon has this misrepresented on their website, and the link they provided for the rebate form is only a sample of what the form looks like, Amazon refunded me the $20 advertised rebate directly back to my account. I would advise if you are weighing your options between saving $5 in free shipping with Amazon and purchasing directly through Adobe, it's worth it to pay the $5 shipping to purchase directly through Adobe.

I didn't purchase pse8 from a big box store, I purchase it from a small dealer on amazon.com but the rebate form was not in the box.
There is a pdf in the pse8 forum for a copy of the rebate form but when I click on it it say, forbidden you do not have permission to access??
I would appreciate if you could point me to where I can print out the form. I have been trying unsucessfully to get the form since I purchased the software. And this is the last week I will be able to claim the rebate. emails to adobe have not been answered.

The rebate specifically excludes, Walmart, Sams Club, Best Buy, Office Max, BJ's, if bought from one of those stores. Those stores have a deal with adobe where the rebate is already built into the store price.

Online rebate form for Elements 8?

Just purchased Elements online, pursuant to 20 dollar rebate offer. However, couldn't find rebate form anywhere on line or on site. Called support number, literally spend 20 minutes with "Ryan," who eventually told me that it was not "publicly available," and that they were making "changes" to the form.
As an attorney, this sounds kind of fishy, but I suppose it's possible. However, if your going to put a product into the stream of commerce and make an offer that is impossible for your customers to fulfill, not good. Anyhoo, does anyone know if the form is out there, or who do I have to haul into court to get the form? Thanks.

IPod student rebate form

I purchased a nano last week along with a brand new macbook. The store was out of the rebate forms and told me I could download one from the website. Well the promotion ended so i can't find the link for the rebate form now. I was told that as long as my receipt was dated before the end of the promo, I was good to go. Can anyone help me find the form? Thanks!

Help with rebate form

The form asked for eligible equipment phone number. I transferred my upgrade from one phone to another number. The receipt shows "eligible mdn" for my old number and "activating mdn" for my new phone that I transferred it to. I called and emailed verizon rebates and received two different answers. One person said used old number and other said use new number on form. I I use wrong number, then the rebate will be invalid......What do I do?

The eligible equipment phone number would be the number of the eligible line - so the line you used to purchase the phone would be the one. Once the phone is purchased and the contract extended, you can activate the phone on any line... use the "eligible MDN".

Where should I mail the Elements 7 Upgrade Rebate Form

It just changed from "processing" to "check mailed" on 10-15-09.
They're still evil.
The Premiere Elements 7 software is crap with AVCHD files and recodes files
unnecessarily and won't burn AVCHD Blue Ray folder structures to DVD-Rs.
Should work on a 2.5G Core 2 Dou, 4G RAM, 200G 7200 RPM Seagate but doesn't.
It also creates HUGE amounts of extraneous files for every project.
Sometimes the project folder is many times the size of the video you're tying to edit.
The Photoshop Elements piece is as adequate as any free image software you get with your digicam.
Might have to try running a flavor of Linux on the machine and get some open source editing software
and see if that works any better.
Anyone have any luck going that route?

Screen cap serial number for rebate form

Hello,
I want to claim the rebate for having Avid Liquid Edition and buying Premiere Pro CS3. The form asks for "a screen shot showing the Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 serial number and your name".
Help - About doesn't seem to show this. Where else do I look? I unlocked the trial, but it is fully licensed and have receipts to prove it.

Oh, it is legit. Even the Adobe sales guy on the telephone mentioned it. Liquid Edition isn't really Vista compatible yet and it has some issues with the DX10 graphics cards, so Adobe is taking advantage of this to lure users to Premiere.

Cannot find form for Galaxy S 5 mail-in rebate

I just purchased a Galaxy S 5 online through Verizon and was promised on the website and during the checkout process a $50 mail-in rebate.

Rebate issue

Hello,
we are having an issue on the rebates.
The rebate report is showing a difference between manual accrual and settlement amount: the last one is greater than the first one.
(settlement amount > manual accrual)
settlement amount - manual accrual = x
But the customer ledger (FBL5N) is balanced, despite the error in the rebate report.
If we make a correction on rebate report, then the customer will have a open item in the ledger (FBL5N).
(if we make a correction on rebate report custom will have an open item = x)
How we can fix this issue?

I have never heard of a rebate taking less than ten to twelve weeks, in the US anyway.
A salesman can never guarantee anything like you said because he has no way of knowing what could cause a delay. Like salesmen everywhere he was trying to make a sale.
Do you have proof it was delivered and not lost in the mail system?
On the paperwork you filled out did it state how long it might take? On every rebate form I have ever filled out it had that info.
Did you keep a copy of the paperwork? It usually has a number or way to contact the rebate center if you have questions about your rebate.
Here is something I learned about any rebate offer. I have done some international rebates so this applies everywhere.
1. Don't spend the extra money unless you can afford not to get the rebate. Things happen that no one has control over.
2. Always keep a copy of everything you send in. There is usually important info there, such as contact numbers.
3. Never wise to make threats on a public venue, especially using your name.
4. I always treat rebates as a surprise. I always apply for them. Then a few months down the road I am pleased when all of the sudden I get a check. I have never been disappointed yet. I have had rebates take up to 4 months to clear.

Mail-in Rebate Scam

I bought an Intuit Card Reader at the Verizon Store when I bought my iPhone. I had a $30 mail-in rebate. to calim the rebate, you have to sign up for service with Intuit, to use the card swiper. After some hassle, I signed up and mailed in for the rebate. After a couple of weeks, I received a message sying that my rebate request had been received and there was a link to check the status.
The staus of the rebate was that it was invalid because the UPC had not been included. This is false! I included he original UPC from the box the device came in and I kept a phoptocopy of it.
I can't find a way to contact Verizon at least to vent about this scam.
Anyhow, don't trust any Verizon mail-in rebate progarms.

For a 2nd opinion, I have always received my mail in rebates from Verizon, probably anywhere from 5-10 of them without any problems.
Luckily for you, you kept a photocopy of the UPC code. Did you also keep a copy of the rebate form? Is there not some type of contact where to get/send additional information?

Is there more than 1 code on the box? I have purchased several products with multiple bar codes on the box, which sometimes makes it unclear which is the correct code.

IPod Touch serial number does not match invoice (rebate problem)

I recently purchased and received a MacBook Pro and iPod Touch online, taking advantage of the rebate program. I was just filling out the rebate form when I noticed that the serial number on my iPod's UPC sticker does not exactly match the serial number on the invoice. By that I mean there are three letters in the serial number that does not match. I checked with Apple's service support coverage online and found that the serial number which is on the invoice is recognized and the one on the UPC sticker is not. I was just about to send in my rebate coupon, and I am wondering if this would affect my rebate claim?
I'll most likely call Apple tomorrow, but just wanted to see if anyone here has any idea.

Sorry, I forgot to include those details. The MacBook was purchased online directly through the Apple Store on 12/20/07. The AppleCare was purchased directly from the Apple Store online on 12/19/08. I usually buy it direct from Apple because of horror stories I had heard about resellers when I bought my first Mac (G4 MDD). I had purchased the G4 MDD years ago and had an issue with it during the first year and called Apple and they informed me that I could buy AppleCare during the first year warranty. The individual I spoke with indicated I did not have to activate it before the first year anniversary, but that I just had to purchase it before the 1 year warranty expired. Before purchasing my wife's Applecare I checked to ensure that was still the case. From the information on the Apple site, it is my understanding that it is still the case. I know I cut it close, but I thought I had bought it later than the 20th. One night I pulled out the invoice and found it was ordered on the 20th so I ordered it that night (19th)!!

K8T Neo-FIS2R rebate

I ordered this motherboard near the beginning of this year because it had a mail-in rebate. It's been about 3-4 months since I mailed the rebate form along with the UPC barcode and I haven't received a rebate check . Did anybody else buy this board during that time and get a rebate check?

I did receive a letter directly from MSI saying that they received my rebate and that they would be mailing it out, unless I choose to apply it to a USB MP3 pen product they sold. I had until April 5th to respond to the offer, which only gave you $20 off the product anyway, I believe. I assume they are going to mail the rebate after that date. Either way, it's still taking way too long to get it.
Shame on them for slow rebate check delivery and a "bait 'n switch"-type tactic.
I just want my $20, OK?!!
