Receive Custom Document via AS2

i just receive a new requirement from my boss, there is a client who want to send us a flat file via AS2.
i test the scenario with my local testing machine and i face this problem
AIP-50083: Document protocol identification error
i have to check whether Oracle B2B is possible to do it before i suggest my boss to find alternative way.

Hi Kinwah,
For Custom Flat files the identification is based on the existence of a value in a flat file payload.
To configure B2B in the Document definition set the following
1) Identification Start position,
2) Identification End Position and
3)Identification Expression value.
B2B will apply the Identification Start Position and Identification End Position on the payload and compare the value obtained with the value specified in the Identification Expression Value. If the values match, then the document is identified successfully.

  • Not able to generate AS2 MDN when receiving custom XML via AS2

    Hi friends,
I have setup the trading partner and the corresponding TP certificate import for receiving the custom XML via AS2 channel.
I am receiving the custom xml properly to oracle b2b and able to receive the same to bpel as well. however in the oracle b2b console under reports tab i am seeing only one record for inbound document receive and i am not seeing the other record for the AS2 MDN going back to vendor. I have setup the AS2 channel under the external trading partner --> Channel using the vendor AS2 URL and selected all the security parameters while creating the Outbound AS2 channel.
    1. Not able to generate AS2 MDN when receiving custom XML via AS2.
    2. eventhough i am able to decrypt the inbound custom XML and ablr to recieve it in bpel also for processing, in the reports tab the inbound message state is changing to MSG_ERROR and it has the folloing error message:
    Error Code
    B2B-50037
    Error Description
Machine Info: (***********)  Description: B2B inbound message processing error
    Error Level
    ERROR_LEVEL_COLLABORATION
for AS2 MDN generation for custom XML receiving using As2 protocol, do we need to setup anything other than the outbound As2 Channel using the external vendor AS2 URL?
Can you please help me how can i generate the AS2 MDN for the inbound custom XML document i have received and also why the inbound message is failing even though i am receiving the custom XML properly to bpel?
    Thanks,
    Amirineni.

    Hi Prasanna,
Vendor has enabled the ACK mode as SYNC.
Below are the headers for the inbound message to B2B. and we are able to receive the input message to bpel also.

Do you have Microsoft Word installed on your Mac? If so, you can reassign all .doc files to Word by selecting the file in Finder and choosing "File > Get Info" from the menu. In the window that opens look for "Open with" and change the entry to "Microsoft Word".

    HI Abhshk Bhatta,
do you have any experience with the connection of a non sap system to sap gts?
my idea is to use to call this function module e.g. via a web-service and post the customs declaration into gts....
what do you think - may that be possible?

  • Receiving document with AS2(HTTP)

    Hi B2B Gurus,
I have to receive EDI document with AS2 over http(Inbound Operation). I am using the URL : http://<host>:<port>/b2b/httpReceiver ,which is a default HTTP listener of Oracle B2B. I just configured a Generic File channel under the Host trading partner which will writa data to a folder for further processing. I am using Http Post method to send data to the URL.
    Problem:
when i successfully send data to the B2B listener server , for the first time B2B throws error like : Document Protocol Identification error and again it shows Message state completed and successfully processed other process.
This is confusing like : first time it throws error and at the same it works perfectly.
    Error Report :

    Message_Error==================================================EDI
    Message_Complete========850=============Arg_850==========EDI======Local
This type of Report is showing, when i send data to the B2B httpReceiver.
Any suggestion would be helpful to me.
    Thanks

  • Receiving document with AS2 over http

In Oracle B2B if I have to receive the document with AS2 over http, what can be the URL? The fusion server is running in a linux server. There is a folder in that server where we can preserve the incoming files for further processing.

    Hi Anuj,
The solution you have provided work, in the sense that the b2b server is receiving the file.
But after the receipt I am seeing two errors, the sender is sending a text file, with the name xxxx.txt.
    The errors are:

  • Custom document over internet encoding

    Hi all!
While trying to send a custom document over AS2, the payload encoding seems to be dependent on signing and encription:
If the message is unencrypted and unsigned -- Payload is UTF-8
If the message is 3DES encrypted OR signed OR both signed and encrypted -- Payload is windows-1251 (our B2B installed on windows server 2003, regional settings = russia)
i have already tried to insert oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.encoding=UTF-8 line in tip.properties, but it doesnt seem to help me.
The problem is: Trading partner expects UTF-8 messages. So when sent in windows-1251, the russian characters are misinterpreted.
If anyone already faced this problem, please help. Thanks.
    Alex.

    Hi,
I used to get "Unable to identify the trading partner agreemen" due to below reasions,
    1. Agreement is not deployed properly. Please check whether deployed agreement is in active state.
    2. While creating the Operational Capability, please check whether initiator and responder defined correctly.
For Outbound, Please check Remote trading partner Is Initiator should be false and Host trading partner Is Initiator should be true.
As far as I know, File name convention should be folllowed for FTP/File and not for HTTP.

  • B2B  Custom document through Http Channel.

    Hi
Normally in order to exchange Edifact documetns we use Edi identifiers to receive documents from multiple Trading Partners.
But we have a scenario, where we need to use single Custom Purchase Order document definition and need to recieve Documents from multiple Trading Partners through Http Channel, we are passing xml documents. How to get Document Identifier for Custom documents and how to get the Identifier tag from the Document given as input to differentiate from different trading partners.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Chaitanya.

    Hi Anuj,
    Thanks for reply
In My scenario i have to receive custom documents(cXML file) from two remote trading partners through http channel. I just created one custom document definition...and each agreement for each trading partner using that document definition.
If the document (i/p) is coming from soa, then easily i can give fromTP and toTP values in SOA mediator or bpel and i can route the document to particular agreement.
But in my case, the i/p document doesnt comes from SOA (it may come from http servlet or in some way) so i cant give toTP and fromTP values.
so if it is a EDI document ,then we can route it according to the identifiers. but in my case it is a Custom document i.e, cXML.xml
so in my xml i had one <Identity>xxx</Identity> tag ,this identity tag value tells us from which partner the document is coming. so by using this identity tag can i route it to particular agreement.
so based on the above identity tag, how can i find the trading partner in b2b.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Chaitanya.

  • Receiving Custom XML Document over AS2 (HTTPS) - Inbound Processing

    Hi All,
Need help in Receiving Custom XML Document over AS2 (HTTPS) - Inbound Processing
External Trading Partner will be able to post the XML Documents to https://<b2bconsolehost>:<b2bconsoleport>/b2b/httpReceiver.
    Here is the process flow:
    1. External Trading Partner will be posting the XML Documents to https://<b2bconsolehost>:<b2bconsoleport>/b2b/httpReceiver
    2. B2B, consumes the Custom XML validates as per the XSD and process it.
    3. How to send the ACK back to External Trading Partner if it validates successfully and sent it to 'IP_IN_QUEUE'
    4. How to send the ACK back to External Trading Partner if the validation fails after receiving the XML document.
    5. Does the External Trading Partner require any certificates to post the XML Documents to https://<b2bconsolehost>:<b2bconsoleport>/b2b/httpReceiver (no need of encryption/decryption)?
    6. How to enable the B2B server to accept the HTTPS messages from the Trading Partner (no need of encryption/decryption).
Please let me know. Thanks In Advance.

    Hi Nandu, Ramesh,
We have done the set-ups for transmitting a Custom XML Document over HTTP1.1 in B2B.
Our Business Case is as follows:
    1. Read the Flat File using BPEL File Adapter
    2. Transform the Message in BPEL and send it to B2B
    2. Based on the set-ups in B2B, we need to post the XML message to the folliwng URL:-
    http://databridge.buy.datastream.net:5555/invoke/dsImport/receiveXML
In the B2B Set-Ups, I have done the following:
Business Protocol name: Custom Document over Internet
    Exchange Protocol: AS
    Document Protocol: Custom
    Transport Protocol: HTTP-1.1
    Host name : http://databridge.buy.datastream.net
    Port: 5555
I have also deployed the agreement as well as the configuration. The issue that I am currently facing is when I select the configuration in WSIL browser in JDeveloper, I am getting the following error:
"Unable to get schema information for target".
Hence I am not able to map the message in BPEL and send it to B2B.
Could you please let me know the possible causes and if I am missing anything in the set-ups in B2B.
As always, your help and guidance is highly appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
I assume you had transferred all the commitments form fiscal year 2010 to fiscal year 2011 you will surely get the error message of budget exceeded in the year 2011 .You will will have to transfer the budget of the year 2010 also or you may update the current budget .I f you do not want the error message, you will have to first deactivate the Project budget using T code CJBW & after reversing then activate the Project budget using T code CJBV.
    Hope it may help you.

  • Custom XML Document over AS2

    Hi All,
We are planning to send Custom XML Document over HTTP(AS2) to the Remote Trading Partner. The XML Document needs to be posted to a particular URL in the Remote Trading Partner Site. Here is the process flow:
    1. The input application format file having the messages will be transformed to an XML message in BPEL.
    2. Then as per the set-ups done in B2B, this particular XML message needs to be posted to a URL.
I went through the B2B User's Guide but could not find any documentation on how to set up Custom XML Document over HTTP(AS2).
Could you please share the documents/technical notes or link which I can refer to do the set-ups in B2B.
Please let me know. Thanks In Advance.

  • Receiving XML document and getting attachment via URL

What is the best method to retrieve a file from a provided URL. Here is the scenario. A system will send us an XML document via an HTTP post but the source system is unable to send us the associated attachment as a MIME attachment instead in the XML they will include a extra node with the URL to a file we need to get. What is the ideal method of retrieving this file once we receive the XML message. If the provided link was an ftp site we would hold the message in BPM and use the file adapter but since this is a full url such as http://someserver.com/myfile/file.doc we are looking for the best approach. On thought was a Java Proxy.
    Regards

    Hi,
    there are just two approaches:
    easy one - java proxy
more diffcult - creating sync adapter for http xmls
I'd go for java proxy (if possible from secutiry point of view)
as you will have the link (so no "adapter configuration" necessary in your case)

  • Why do I get an "unable to connect - There may be a problem with the mail server or network." message from iCloud.  I have verified the settings.  I can access my iCloud account online but can't send or receive e-mail via the mail account.

Text limits to the "Question" link prevents a full explanation:
This is a long-time problem.  I have tried to resolve it with Apple but their "Customer Support" is merely a name.
I can go online and access my e-mail but when I try to send or receive e-mail via iCloud through my internet server (Google fiber now but the same situation existed with my prior service), I receive "There may be a problem with the mail server or network.  Verify the settings for 'Apple Email' and try again.
"The server returned the error:  The server 'p0-imap.mail.me.com' refused to allow a connection on port 143."

Maybe you should test these things before calling people out, because these settings do function perfectly well.

  • TP Agreement Not Found -- OAGIS XML document over AS2

    Hi,
I am getting TP Agreement not found error while receiving OAGIS XML document over AS2. Below is error message.
Agreement not found for trading partners: FromTP SOALocal, ToTP Powell with document type PROCESS_INVOICE_002-null-INBOUND
I am not sure why it says null-INBOUND. It appears like it is not able to identify Document Version. DOCTYPE_REVISION=7.2.1 is being passed in the AS2 transport headers but still it does not recognize the version.
I am not sure what is missing. Please give some ideas hints.
