Receiving sms in labview from GSM USB Module

I am using HSUPA 7.2Mbps gsm usb module. Program is not showing any error but sms is not received.

I have download this program same as it is.

GSM AT&T to GSM AT&T - OK

This all seemed to start after I upgraded the software to 2.2.

hey yall friends, moderators, and hopefully someone from the actual skype company.
what is the deal? why are we not able to receive sms texts (except from people with smartphones who can do mobile to landline text to voice features)?
can we somehow come to a compromise, a creative solution. it is just stupid to be able to send sms messages but not receive them. people even send them back and they go nowhere, thinking they communicated but we never receive anything.
if we have bought an online number and a subscription doesnt it make sense we should be able to receive text? that was one of the first features of skype original.
what is the blockage that is stopping this easy feature from being included? is it that phone companies charge the recipient company (skype) for texting? and skype doesnt know how to deal with that, or want to? i think even if you charged us .11 cents to receive, we would all do that. you could even make an SMS subscription to pay for costs.
if skype is going to continue to grow as a company and as a useful feature. this is the next step. i hope we all understand and appriciate that.
again, 1 way SMS is just non-functional and barely-useful. communication is a two way street. please let us make something happening.

That is also my request. I'm using TextPlus on my Android phone to send and receive free SMS messages. (Yes, it gave me a free phone number.) However, I would rather just use Skype with an online number to send and receive SMS messages. And SMS needs to be free. With Skype's other paid services, free SMS should be possible.

Here is some information that you may find helpful with this issue.
I'm not receiving the verification code via SMS.
Make sure that you have a strong cellular network connection on your phone.
Make sure that your phone number can receive SMS messages. You can do this by asking someone to send you a text message.
Make sure that the correct phone number is associated with your account:
iOS 7.0.3 or later: Tap Settings > iCloud > Account, then tap Keychain. Make sure the phone number under Verification Number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
OS X Mavericks v10.9 or later: Choose Apple () > System Preferences. Click iCloud, then click Account Details. Make sure the phone number listed under Verification number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
If you can't access a device that has iCloud Keychain enabled, you can contact Apple Support and verify your identity to get help completing iCloud Keychain setup.

There is no need to develope mobile application for
sending SMS from the PC.
n general, there are two ways to send SMS messages
from a computer / PC to a mobile phone:
Connect a mobile phone or GSM/GPRS modem to a
computer / PC. Then use the computer / PC and AT
commands to instruct the mobile phone or GSM/GPRS
modem to send SMS messages.
Connect the computer / PC to the SMS center (SMSC) or
SMS gateway of a wireless carrier or SMS service
provider. Then send SMS messages using a protocol /
interface supported by the SMSC or SMS gateway.I would like to know how do you set up the whole thing. What are AT commands and Where do i get thm and how do i use them. i am sorry for asking so many question but i am really interested in knowing this. Might be you can call ActiveX or DLL objects of the software installed for modem from LabVIEW, if it is unblocked.

LabVIEW and FTDI UM232H USB Module

I was wondering if anyone has ever worked with the FTDI UM232H High Speed USB module, and tried programming it with LabVIEW. I would like some help in trying to figure out how to program my module such that it will read a specified number of bytes. The way the USB is currently set up, is that it will read the data being written to it and package it into packets (the packets have to be of multiples of 512 bytes), and then send it back to the computer. However the way me data is being streamed from the hardware side is in packets of 8162 bytes (which is not a multiple of 512 bytes). I was wondering if anyone might know how to force my USB module to read a specific number of bytes without having to package into packets and perhaps provide a small example, if it is not too much trouble.
I should mention that I am using the D2XX drivers to program my module.

There are two examples on the FTDI Chip website that might be good starting points for using the FTDI USB chip. The examples use the ftd2xx.dll and the Call Library Function Node in LabVIEW to access the dll functions.
Another option would be to use the Virtual COM Port Driver and access the chip as a serial COM port. You can use the VISA function to talk to the chip and configure the Read/Write functions accordingly. From the FTDI site, “Virtual COM port (VCP) drivers cause the USB device to appear as an additional COM port available to the PC. Application software can access the USB device in the same way as it would access a standard COM port.”

What is the correct way to read from a usb device using a java application?
I guess it is in the IO area, but once the application accesses the usb device, in what form is the data received? Does java have its own format, or will it be in whatever format the device sends?

First step, already noted, you must learn how the device works. You must read the docs that come with it and probably go on line to look for more docs and examples.
But going from there, if there is NOT a specific java api then, far as I know, you must use the java comm api to communicate with random usb devices and that is not going to be easy. As I already noted this particular step is so difficult that if it was me I would skip it until the end after everything else is done. All this can give you is the starting coords anyways and to test the path finding ability you are going need a way to feed in coords manually anyways, so little benefit to having it compared to the rest of the app.I know, thanks a lot.

Since upgrading to IOS6, some of my contacts (using nokia) no longer receives sms from me, although it shows on my 4s phone that it was sent. I receive sms from these contacts though. These contacts are international numbers. What do I do to fix this? Thx

Since upgrading to IOS6 on my 4s, some of my sms messages (international) are no longer delivered to other phone users (nokia, etc.), even though it shows sent in the message screen. I do however receive sms messages from these numbers. These numbers are correct and I can call or receive calls on the same numbers. I would appreciate if someone can assist me so that my messages can be received again on international numbers. I think all my local numbers are working fine regarding messages. Thanks.

Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer. As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you. I'm sure you'll pay, however.
Let this be a very important lesson learned.

Can't receive SMS messages from Verizon Iphone 6 user

I have had an iphone 6+ since it came out. I've had my imessages turned off for several months because it was eating up so much data (all of a sudden...never an issue with my 4s before my upgrade.). Just in the last day, I've noticed I have not been able to receive message from my husband, who also has an iphone 6+ wtih Verizon. I've never had an issue with receiving his messages before yesterday when they just stopped. It shows on his phone that it was sent via SMS on his phone, but nothing shows on mine. I called other family members with iphones and Verizon as well and they have said they have sent me messages as well with no response from me, but I never received them. What's the deal?
1. All are iphone users
2. All are on Verizon's network
3. Sporatic timing of non-retreival of messages
4. iMessages work, but I do not want to use them as it has already caused me to up my data plan twice since upgrading to a new phone.
5. I've restarted my phone several times with no improvement

I had to delete every one of my apps that I transferred over from my 4s and I was still going over data. I used all the same apps from my 4s and in the same manner and frequency. (I tracked my data useage for 2 years and i never went over 2gb of data). I turned cell data off on EVERYTHING except for facebook which I check occationally and google maps. Once I turned imessages off, I wasn't getting overages. (but I had to increase my plan twice to insure that). Now I can't use the apps I used to have and can't use them except on wifi without going over my data allowance within a few days of my plan starting each month.
I've messaged some family members and they indicated that their messages to me were automatically changing to imessage, though i have had it shut off since October. I did restart my phone yesterday, but changed no settings, which is when I suddenly couldn't recieve messages anymore. All the previous threads were in SMS. Why would it change to imessage within an SMS thread just from a phone restart?

Dont receive SMS from ONE person only. I am AT&T, they are Verizon

Since my friend swithed to a BB Pearl, I am unable to receive SMS from her. On her old phone I received them. Since getting the BB Pearl I do not receive them. They show up as sent on her phone but I get nothing. I am on a blackberry curve with AT&T. She is on a Pearl with Verizon.
Any advice?
