Recently updated iPhone software (to 7.1.2), and now my pics won't download to my Mac.
I have always been able to download the pics from my iPhone to my Mac with no problems. Now that I've done the latest update for my iPhone, my Mac is acting like it can't even find any pictures from my iPhone to download. I'm getting very frustrated!

I recently updated my 2009 iMac to Mountain Loin and computer is now very slow
I have a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 16 GB's of RAM. I recently upgaded to Mountain Lion and have been having significant speed issues since. since installing the new operating system everything seems to be freezing up and buffering. My web browser buffers when I open it, and I can barely work in Photoshop, which was working great before the upgrade.
Can anyone help with this?
ThanksI am have the exact same problem.If found when looking in the app's application and then purchased app under Mountain lion it just states downloaded not installed.What I was wondering if you go into the app application and under purchased app look at Mountain lion does it state downloaded or install. I was wondering if I need to uninstall both loin and mountain lion and then try to install them again. This all started this March when I downloaded mountain line and you're the first person that I've read that is having the same problem I'm have. if I find the answer to our problem I will notify you and please notify me to find the answer to our problem.
If anybody is having the same problem and found a solution please let me know. -
After my most recent update I have lost copy paste functions and can't drag items - please help
I am unsure how to tell which update it is,but I cant use copy and paste functions and my openoffice has corrupted - reinstalling it did not help. I can also not drag/drop
I think this is a Java problem. I went to Firefox and Mozilla home page and checked to see that my plug ins were up to date. Firefox said it had turned off my Java because it was not up to date. When I went to the Java page to update it, it only said Mac has its own Java updates and suggested I update through Apple. Unfortunately, when I checked to see if Apple has any updates for my Java, there weren't any.
After seeing that, I went to the link it had for "upgrade to the latest version" and this is what Java says:

I recently updated iTunes to version 11.5.5, and now my iPhone 5 will not sync up completely with iTunes. ITunes will recognize and sync up, but I now cannot manage my music on my phone. Also, all of my playlists on my iPhone were wiped out. It would be great to retrieve my phone playlists, but more important, be able to manage my music again. I'm running on Windows 7 and I own iPhone 5. Suggestions?
I have windows 8, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with anything, but i figured maybe 11.1.4 just doesn't like 8. soooo.. i went onto my computer settings and uninstalled anything and everything made my apple and then reinstalled itunes 11.1.3 and it now reads my ipod nano happy day thanks apple for making something that you can't help me with at all

I recently updated the iOS on my ipad 3 and lost all my files in the process. How do I recover my lost files which were not previously backed up?
If you don't have them backed up somewhere, then there's little possibility of recovering them. There are some utilities that can in some cases recover an inadvertently-deleted photo, but I've found none that can recover photos or other data from an iPad that was erased as part of an iOS upgrade. You can do a web search for something like "iPhone photo recovery" and you'll find some utilities you can try.

Yeah that is what I thought, but the passcode used to be alpha numeric and just changed to being 4 didgets and I don;t recall making that change. This is only to approve updates on my iPhone. The other issue is on my mac pro.

Decided to update iphone 4 to ios 5.1 and mid update it froze and the screen is black. Phone does not respond to any combinations of home and power buttons, when plugged into computer it does not see it is plugged in so I cannot restore or anything. Looks like the screen is on it's just unresponsive and black obviously. Has anyone had this problem? I was updating via wifi right in front of my router and my computer.
Spoke to a "senior advisor" in the Apple TV department. Her suggestions: change channel in router to minimize/eliminate wifi interference from other users; move router away from any metal - i.e., DVD player, phone modem, etc.; keep router away from wireless 2.4 gH phones, which are "notorious" for crashing wifi routers. So she confirms that the problem is one of connection to router suddenly dropping out.
My own feeling is that none of these fixes will do the trick, because it seems pretty clear that there is a hardware component here - the timing of the drops seems like an overheating issue. It takes 35-40 minutes for the box to warm up enough for the first drop; then each consecutive drop happens quicker than the one before, as it heats up more. Each time it drops, its tiny brain gets a little more scrambled; last night it finally wouldn't start up again at all.
My suggestion is that everyone who is experiencing this problem, please call Apple tech support and ask to speak to a senior advisor in the Apple TV department. Make them aware of this problem! -

Recently updated Numbers to Version 3.5.2 and now also seem to have Numbers Version 2.0 on my launchpad? Can anyone explain how this has happened - how do I get rid of it? Not able to move to Trash.
What is strange however is that my iMac is only a few months old and they all were upgraded to V3.x just a few months ago - with all Apps for iWork removed at that time.
Unless you did something specific to remove the old versions of the iWork apps (not advisable) then, as Wayne points out, they were not actually removed from your Mac, just moved into that subfolder within your main Applications folder.
I originally downloaded Numbers 2.x from the App Store (i.e. didn't install from a disk). I still have it on my Mac. But only Numbers 3.x appears in Launchpad.
I don't know whether this will help, but in Mac App Store you might try clicking 'Account' under 'Quick Links' on the right, signing in with your password, and clicking the 'Reset' button to the right of 'Reset all warnings for buying and downloading'. Sometimes the App Store gets a little confused. It's possible Launchpad may be taking its cue from the App Store in showing that old version of Numbers.
By Launchpad I assume you really mean Launchpad, not the Dock. I usually use the Dock. If that's what you're using too, then of course you can just drag the icon for the old Numbers off the Dock and it will vanish. (But the Numbers 2.3 application will still be there in that subfolder when you need it.)

That makes it difficult. My new (working) phone is a 4S and the SIM card does not fit. The old SIM card is in the 3GS but as far as I know it was was deactivated.
But it seems that with other updates over the last couple of years this was not necessary and my partner went through the same update with her 3GS with no problems.
Should I go to my AT&T dealer and purchase a new SIM card? Is there still a new one available? -
I did the recent update on my ipad 7.0.4 and now it keeps freezing up and can not use it. Tried reboot and works for a second then freezes right up again. Anyone else have this issue or know a fix?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Seems like you tried this all ready and it didn't help.
Next might be to reset all settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings
Note that when you do this you will not lose data but you will have to enter all passwords again.
If that doesn't help you might tries a restore of your iPad using iTunes on the computer you normall sync with. Do a backup and save all data first. Or
Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -
I am trying to sync my songs in iTunes to my iphone4S, its running on IOS 7.3( the recent update) it just does not sync. I can see the songs in my library but they just don't transfer. Please help!
