Record Selection in Japanese not pulling the correct records.

Hello,
I am using Crystal XI running off of a Remedy SQL Database that has Japanese data in the records. When I place the following criteria in the Record Selection, I pull no records. But, If the put the criteria with the japanese criteria in the Group Selection formula, I get the records that I want but then many of my formulas are adding up all the records.
{HPD_HelpDesk_VW.Severity} in ["1","2"] and
{HPD_Affected_Organizations.Organization} like "ジブラルタ"
How can I get Crystal to recognize the japanese criteria in the Record Selection criteria?
Any help would be appreciated.

Alerts not retrieving the correct number of records

Hi,
I have created alerts to run plans. These plans are getting records from DB and populating the ADC. The alerts are getting executed but are not retrieving the correct number of records.
I have created 5 alerts to run 5 plans all in the same time. The error at the "Data Flow service status" window is :

This error is seen for 2-3 plans .......
But if i execute the plan manually from design studio there is no error.
So
1. Do i need to change anything in the config files to increase the MAx memory block?
2. Is there any way, the plans can be run one at a time i.e. configure alerts in such a way that if one plan finishes the other one starts automatically? Currently i have scheduled the plans to run at the same time using Alerts..

Here is one 'culprit' you can verify. Open DesignStudio. You should "--not--" see any grids or icons on (near) the botton status row. If you see them - right click and delete them. These are plans with same_names put in 'locked' state. After you do this. close your design studio.
Note- if you ever open a plan in designstudio, always "save" it and close it (exit). Donot click on window [x] mark to close the appl.
After above verifrication -- restart EnterpriseLink and restart PlanMonitor, verify if everything runs fine.

TABLE(CAST()) function not returning the correct results in few scenarios.

I am using TABLE(CAST()) operation in PL/SQL and it is returning me no data.
Here is what I have done:
1.     Created Record type

     Following is the simplified form of my procedure.

I am calling get_target_weights from my java code and passing p_in_template_target with 10140 records.
Scenario 1: If target_pct in the last record is 0, p_out_count returned from the procedure is 0.
Scenario 2: If target_pct in the last record is any other value(say 0.01), p_out_count returned from the procedure is 10140.
Please help me understand why the Table(Cast()) is not returning the correct results in Scenario 1. Also adding or deleting any record from the test data returns the correct results (i.e. if keep target_pct in the last record as 0 but add or delete any record).
Let me know how can I attach the test data I am using to help you debugging as I don’t see any Attach file button on Post Message screen on the forum.

I am not able to reproduce this problem with a small data set. I can only reproduce with the data having 10140 records.
I am not sure if this is the memory issue as adding a new record also solves the problem.
This should not be the error because of wrong way of filling the records in java as for testing purpose I just saved the records which I am sending from java in a table. I updated the stored procedure as well to read the data from the table and then perform TABLE(CAST()) operation. I am still getting 0 as the output for scenario 1 mentioned in my last mail.

Dynamic parameter selection from infoview not storing the sql password

We are having the problem of dynamic parameter selection from infoview not storing the sql password as it does for the actual report. We are using Crystal Reports XI Release 2 version 11.5.3.438 (Not sure of SP level, asked in separate thread).
To be more specific.
We have created a report that dynamically populates the parameters of the report by pulling the records from the Informix sql database and allowing selection from there.
In the Central Management Console for the report object we have set as follows:
Process - Database:
Use original database logon information from the report - the sql username and pw etc
Use same database logon as when report is run
Process - Parameters
In selecting a default selection there is the option to put in the sql password, however, this does not stick and clears after update.
As such the end result is that every time this report is run from infoview and a user chooses a parameter (there are 5), crystal goes through some timeout for about a minute or so and then requests the sql password, if a user then selects the next parameter, the same timeout and password dialog appears.
We need the crystal report to handle to the sql password for fetching the parameters as well as for the database section of running the report, however, the parameters insists on the end user always putting the password in.
This is 100% replicatable on our system.
Any way that we can fix this?
Will an update fix this issue? If so could you please advise which one?

V$session prev_hash_value not returning the correct value?

I am executing a plsql package (which has the following query) in two modes: through Toad and through a deployed web application. I get two results.
SELECT sa.sql_text,
sa.sql_id,
ss.sid
FROM v$session ss,
v$sqlarea sa
WHERE ss.status = 'ACTIVE'
AND sa.hash_value = ss.prev_hash_value
AND ss.username = USER;
Toad gives me the correct result. The query above pulls the correct SQL statement. But when running through the web application it gives me
some random SQL statement executed during that session. I thought it might have something to do with pooled JDBC connections so I made sure for that
execution I created a new dedicated JDBC connection. Still did not work. I used the function SYS_CONTEXT('USERENV', 'SID') to report the session id
from my java program and from the query above. Both return the same SID. I've tried different variations of that query above (removing status = ACTIVE, removing username = USER, etc...)
and I still get the same result.
So any thoughts on what's going on?

I believe I figured it out. My testing was flawed. The testing in Toad was directly calling my package (e.g., pkg_b). The web app doesn't do that. It calls pkg_a which does a bunch of setup and then calls the target package (pkg_b) using EXECUTE IMMEDIATE. Apparently the v$session stops collecting info at that point. The current statement always shows as 'BEGIN :b1 := pkg_b; END;'. But it's still confusing why it would do that. Is there another way to access SQL statements from within that dynamic block?

2 Select lists do not change the value

I am having a situation. I have 2 select lists . The second one is dependent of the first one. Data are retrieved perfectly.
These select lists are done in page 0 and they are used in the referenced page. Apexlib is used in the page 0
When I change the item of the second list, the returned value used in a report, is ok. It takes the correct one.
If I change the item of the fist select list, the returned value of the second select list does not change(the displayed value are correct). the report is run (after changing the first select list) but the wrong returned value of the second list is taken.
The correct value of the second one is taken only if page is submited or we change the option.
it seems that it keeps the last value of the second list according to the previous selection.
Both select list is without submit.
How can I make a "refresh" of the returned values of the second select list (the records are ok) after changing the first one?

Zen Reporting Infoview not pulling the inventory info I want

I am trying to pull some useful Inventory information from the managed devices but the Report generated does not CONTAINS all the information I needed or at least not pulling the right information from the Managed devices (agents are installed) Here is the scoop: Reports -> Zenworks Reporting Server Infoview -> NEW -> Web Intelligence Document -> and here we can see the Universe Pane. The questions what to select to add item to the right pane so that I can generate some report that shows all the Inventoried pc (with agent installed) right now I selected and tried many attributes or items but only show the DNS, IP address and none of the HD, CPU, Serial number and Manufacturer and others on the GENERATED report. Here is the sample of the Reported generated for your review. It only DNS name, Machine name, Platform, machine GUID and the rest are NOT showing which were selected and there are: hard drive size, memory type and size, cpu type, vendor name and so and whole bunge of them.

Folder mapping with Unix XI box / XI is not pulling the file from folder

We have installed XI on Unix box. We have developed a test scenario using file adapter and tested the mapping program. it's executing successfully. Problem is after completion of configuration XI server is not pulling the file from the assigned folder. I think we need to map that network driver with the XI server. Hope my assumption is correct if not correct me and please help me to resolve the problem.

Well, I had the same problem once but I don't remember exatcly the solution...
I am pretty sure it's a post-installation activity (search in SDN or marketplace for the relevant Guide).

Date difference is not showing the correct result for date interval

Hi Expert,
                I've created two formula variable one for PO date and another for GR date
while i am taking the date difference of GR and PO date for single PO date selection
it showing me correct result , but while i am taking the date interval for PO date it not
showing the correct result.
eg: PO date: 01.01.2010   for a particular PO and Gr date is suppose 03.01.2010, 06.01.2010
      it showing the result 2 and 5.
But if i am taking date interval for PO date:
eg: 01.01.2010 - 31.01.2010
PO date: 10.01.2010 and GR date are suppose 15.01.2010, 22.01.2010 and 30.01.2010
it showing me 14, 21 and 29

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

ITC - Build 1.x.x does not contain the correct beta entitlement.

I have a major problem when uploading Builds via the Application Loader (2.9.1) to iTC.
- I use Flash CC 2014 to create my iOS Apps.
- I recreated my certificates, p12 and mobile provisioning profiles.
- I can Upload my Builds via Application Loader without any error messages. Everything is fine here!
- Then in iTC it takes several minutes (5-45) until the Apps Appear.
- I am able to "Add a Build" in the first "Versions" Menu!
BUT in "Prerelease" it looks like this:
... all Builds are marked as "Invalid Binary"
Message: "Build 1.2.2 does not contain the correct beta entitlement. For more information, see the iTunes Connect Developer Guide."
Even though all Builds are marked as "Invalid" they can be selected and I can submit them for review.
... the sad thing is - another App with the same Status "Invalid Binary" is waiting for review for almost 2 weeks now and nothing happens.
Can anyone please tell me what I have to do? It seems Apple does not review Apps with this Status . Normally I get an email from iTUnes connect saying something like:
"Dear developer,
We have discovered one or more issues with your recent delivery for "XYZ". To process your delivery, the following issues must be corrected:
... but this time - NOTHING! :-(

If you just installed iCloud does that mean you updated the iOS that's running on your iPad? If so, you'll want to restore all the programs you have from the backup you hopefully made.

If you don't want to use iCloud, simply don't activate it.
You can also download the programs again.

Chances are you mis-typed a character in the Wifi password and the devices saved that information. Now whenever you try to connect the device refers to the wrong password and the Jetpack does not accept your connection. Tell your devices to forget the wireless connection and start over.
Once you enter the proper WiFi credentials the Jetpack will allow you to connect.
