Recordset Nav Help

I'm sure this is something simple, but...
I have a recordset that pages at 25 records. The first call
page comes up fine but when I advance the recordset, it adds a
directory prior to the index.asp page.
As in
http://www.thequestfor.com/
- becomes -
http://www.thequestfor.com/TQF/index.asp?offset=25
The directory layer it's adding /TQF/ is a valid directory
(it's actually the root of the domain) but any idea why it's being
added? And what's pulling it?
Any help would be appreciated.

make the DT as
DT_Flat_File
-Root
name
address
id
etc
so that name, id etc comes under root
Now your recordset is root.
In the other case;
DT_Flat_File
-name
-address
-id
you will not be able to provide a recordset and it wudnt be possible to read the file using content conversion.

    so each element is comma seperated and each record is on a new line.

    I am currently building the Comunication Channel for the pickup and i dont know what to put into the "Recordset Structure" field.
    Any help would be appreciated, and maybe a summary of what can go into this field also.

  • Dreamweaver recordset query help!

    HI im building a search page on dreamweaver based on bars clubs and pubs. At the moment i have 3 checkboxes labelled Bar, Club and pub with list/menu. I want the checkboxes so that when 1 is clicked eg Club it will come up with all the clubs in the database. However at the moment when i click that it comes up with the right amount of records but with clubs, bars and pubs.
    Also i want it so that if i select Clubs and Pubs in the checkboxes, or all 3 checkboxes selected, it will come up with all the Clubs and Pubs in the database and so forth.
    This is the SQL query in the recordset i created to get the values from the search page. I think this is wherte its going wrong
    SELECT *
    FROM `places`

    Checkbox's won't exist on the submitted page unless they are ticked.
    so i might do something like: ( untested )

    I am trying to create a page that is based off my computer
    (localhost) (.asp files) and I am having trouble with the recordset
    connections. I do not understand the connection string. I've got
    the DataSource right, just not the Provider. Could someone please
    help?

  • N95 Sat Nav help

    Hi
    I am not sure if this has a really simple answer (ie pay for it) but downloaded the UK map last week and have tried ever since to start using the Sat Nav.
    What ever I tried it just didn't get a GPS signal... Next I tried using my separate GPS receiver and blue toothing it to my N95. It paired perfectly but still no GPS signal received.
    Is this because the guys at Nokia want more of my hard earned cash for using Sat Nav?
    Any help appreciated.

    You only need to pay if you want "voice navigation"
    Go outside hold phone with keypad slider open at 45 degrees, don't cover the "#" key as GPS antenna is below this. you need view of clear sky away from buildings and trees.
    I suggest you open GPS data application to monitor situation.
    Go to Menu > Tools > Settings > GPS data > Position > Open > Options > Satellite status > Open:
    You will see 5 empty rectangle outlines, you need a minimum of three solid black rectangles for triangulation, but usually get four for lock-on postion.
    If you don't get any solid bars by 20 mins your GPS isn't working!
    Start Maps on N95 and get satellite lock-on (RED CROSS on satellite icon bottom right disappears) location is then saved on closing application (get message above globe on screen)
    Happy to have helped forum in a small way with a Support Ratio = 37.0

    Ron,
    This can only be a problem with the link the recordset
    navigation has created. If you can't edit out the directory
    manually then i'd say look at the point when you created the
    recordset paging/navigation. There is a dropdown to choose the link
    you want to use. I can only assume that this process has somehow
    added the extra directory. You should have code that looks like
    this:
    <% If Not MM_atTotal Then %>
    <a href="<%=MM_moveNext%>">Next</a>
    <% End If ' end Not MM_atTotal %>
    I'd be happy to look at your code for you if you post it
    here.

  • Recordset Nav Problem

    I have a recordset that returns several results in a repeat region. It works fine until I try and insert a recordset navigation. I keep getting mysql_num_rows supplied argument is not a valid mysql result resource error on line 121 (which is: $totalRows_rsSearch = mysql_num_rows($all_rsSearch);). Is this one of the occasions that I need to move the recordset code somewhere? I know sometimes DW puts code after the fact which returns an error. I know I have results in this page, which show until I add navigation. Anyone familiar with this? It is a lot of code...so I didn't want to post it. I can though if I need to. Thanks!

    This was a problem with POST as soon as I changed it all to
    GET the problem went away. I haven't a clue why this happened. Went
    back a few times and the same thing happened everytime.
    Using POST on other pages in my website no problems.

  • Recordset Navigation Help

    Good Afternoon
    Experts:
    I have quite the dilemna this afternoon.  My application performs a simple select all records from a table to initialize navigation...previous, next, first and last. 
    However, I now have added a routine to load the last viewed record, by the
    logged on User,  in the recordset.  This now causes the original navigation
    to not be in order. 
    My Question:
    Is it possible to perform the select all records and then position a "cursor/index/reference starting point" to a value in that recordset?
    Example:
    Recordset returns:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9...etc
    LastViewed = 5 so base all navigation off of 5...6 next record, 4 is previous record

    Hi Ed!
    This is impossible to implement your issue using DI-RecordSet object, but as an option i could suggest you to implement it by stored procedure (T-SQL query) and execute it by DoQuery().
    To do it you have to:
    - be able to get the last viewed record by code (or T-SQL)
    - use IDENTITY function to build an order you want
    - use UNION operator to get <i>5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4</i> instead of <i>1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9</i>

    so I found this  query that works great if I use basic  menus and text boxes, but can't use to make comma separated menus because it is nat a record set.
    The problem is that I have a table called zip_codes, with the following fields: state_label, Zip_b, county, city.
    zip codes correspond to the cities, counties and states.
    example:
    Colorado,  Colorado Springs, El Paso,  80918
    Users make a selection of state or states and the recordset is filtered by user selection.
    I manage the part of making a select mutiple drop menu that passes the values to my query page like this.

    Use Tcode SQ01.
    Give the query name press Enter.
    The query will be listed in the table below.
    Select the Query => From the Main menu select QUERY => More Functions => Display Report Name.
    You will get the program name, now go to Se38 and display the program...

    Here i have four recorsetnames namely HEADER1,HEADER2,HEADER3,HEADER4,HEADER5,HEADER6 all the recordsets are of same size but the lengths of the fields in it vary so i specified the following parameters

    HEADER2.fieldFixedLengths=1,3,2
    HEADER2.fieldNames=value1,value2,value3

    MY OUPUT XML STRUCTURE SHOULD BE like this

    Is the content conversion parameters i specified enough for that. I wanted to know how would it know the begin of the next recordset(ie the seperation between the two recordsets) .Please help me its vey urgent

    Are header 1 fields always going to occur first , then header 2 and so on?
    By default file adapters do not support Nested Strcutures and so if the sequence is going to be the same and all of these have an occurence of 1..1 then things will work.
    But if there is going to be an occurnece of *  then you will need to use KeyFields.

Here input is a  fixed length file having  Header and Item details which will repeat for many times.The number idoc in the target is based on the number of header in the input field. I have created a source structure with header as 1..unbounded and i have map the header with the target idoc.
    In configuration part

    I am facing an error in communication channel as
    "Conversion of file content to XML failed at position 0: java.lang.Exception: ERROR consistency check in recordset structure validation in last recordset"
