Redeploy BPEL Projects from EM

Hello,
I have noticed an issue in EM and wasn't sure how to resolve this. I hope someone can help me.
When I click on one of the BPEL project in EM, it throws the below error. But when I redeployed the project, it works fine. I wanted to know if their is any way I can redeploy the project using the jar file that is on the server.
Second question, for instance, I have a BPEL service deployed on the server and a partnerlink (database or WSDL) is invoked in this BPEL service that is down. During the same time if i bounce the server, this particular BPEL service fails to come up because it is trying to make a live connection. Is their any way to stop making live connections when the service is getting deployed. Please advise
Error Message:
The composite BPEL_Project (1.0) is not available. This could happen because either the composite has been undeployed or soa-infra has not yet loaded this composite.
Unable to find a WSDL that has a definition for service {http://xmlns.oracle.com/Request_BPEL}bpel_client_ep and port Request_BPEL_pt. Please make sure that the port attribute for the binding defined in the composite file is correct by checking the namespace, service name, and port name. In addition, check that the WSDL associated with the binding namespace is imported and currently reachable (check the import nodes at the top of the composite file). Finally, validate the HTTP proxy settings for the server.

Hi user10387854,
Can you pls share the solution,for your second question:

    Can you check these things :
    1) is this issue with only this project ? Try deploying some other project
    2) try deploying this project using ant (change values in build.properties and right click on project -> run ant or something like that, use default deploy target)
    3) try undeploying project from server and then redeploying it again
    also, why is it connecting to port 80? normally it is 8888 or 7777 right?

I hope I acn continued my developing on this new laptop.

    if you look in :
    <ORACLE_HOME>/bpel/domains/default/tmp/
    You will find the deployed bpel-processes.
    But..you will not have the jdeveloper-project-structure (dirs etc)

  • Adding AIADemo BPEL projects to JDeveloper 10.1.3.4

    Hi all,
    I'm in a project using AIA2.5 FP and using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4. I copied a EBF project from the server to my computer and I soon I open a file from this project it gives syntax error. I believe that the problem is not in the project itself, since he is deployed and running on the server, but some missconfiguration in my JDeveloper. Do I need to configure any particular thing in JDev so I can import BPEL projects from server? It does not happen only with this project. Schema locations are all pointing to the server.
    Any help?
    Thanks,
    António Amado

    There was no such thing as JDeveloper 8.
    Two options - if you have the project or workspace file (jpr or jws extensions) - just open them in JDeveloper and this should take care of bringing in the source.
    If you don't have those - then do file->New->projects->Project from existing source and point to the directory where the source files are.
    You might need to do a bit more tweaking of the Web content location under project properties->content

  • Empty BPEL Project Fails to migrate...

    Hi Everyone,
    I migrated a BPEL project from JDeveloper 10.1.2 to 10.1.3.3.
    After successfully letting JDev do the migration for me, the rebuild failed, and I ended up deleting all the project code, leaving only the receiveInput - relayOutput skeleton. And still - the project fails to compile.
    The error I am getting is:
    Error: Failed to compile classes.
    Failed to compile the generated BPEL classes for "IMP-4KOrd".
    Below is the .bpel file, and I would greatly appreciate if anyone could comment on any mistakes they see in it, or possibly suggest how to get a more meaningful error description from the JDev-BPEL compiler.
    Thanks,
    Tal.

  • Unable to call a web service from BPEL Project

    I am running my BPEL PM on Windows XP SP3. The platform is weblogic 9.2, SOA 10.1.3.1.
    I created a simple BPEL project to call a web service and when I run the project from BPELConsole I getting the following error:
    exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Bad response: 407 Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy filter is denied. )
    I am able to call this web service from soapUI client.
    Any help or hint is appreciated.
    Thanks

    I have had this issue before when calling a .NET service, it was firewall related. I didn't actually make the fix so I can't tell you exactly how it was fixed on the server. I hope this info makes sense as this this the info I got from the IT boys
    I’ve install this tool on your computer:
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=05C2C932-B15A-4990-B525-66380743DA89&displaylang=en
    which does that:
    Firewall Client for ISA Server can be optionally installed on client computers protected by Microsoft ISA Server. Firewall Client for ISA Server provides enhanced security, application support, and access control for client computers. It provides authentication for Winsock applications that use TCP and UDP, supports complex secondary protocols, and supplies user and application information to the ISA Server logs.
    When a client computer running Firewall Client for ISA Server makes a request, the destination is evaluated by the Firewall Client software, and external requests are directed to the ISA Server computer for handling. No specific routing infrastructure is required. Firewall Client sends user information transparently with each request, enabling you to create a firewall policy on the ISA Server computer with rules that use the authentication credentials presented by the client. ISA Server allows you to configure automatic discovery for Firewall client computers, using a WPAD entry in DNS or DHCP to obtain correct Web proxy settings for clients, depending on their location.
    and I’ve added a exception in IE to the tools-lan settings-advanced-exceptions to be creditworks.* Did this by modifying the GPO that applies to your account, so all the users in National Office should have that exception.
    hope you can use this.
    cheers
    James

    Have got the same problem. Scenario at my end is little different though.
    I am trying to invoke a BPEL process from an ESB Service.
    I am trying to look into it..
    However, would be grateful, if someone can give some insight into this since many are running into this issue without being able to fix.

  • Cannot deploy BPEL Process from Jdeveloper

    Hello,
    I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.2 on my laptop.
    I have Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3 deployed and running on my laptop as well (port 8888) (running MS Vista).
    Some background:
    I can access my app server at http://127.0.0.1:8888, http://localhost:8888, http://toral-pc:8888 using browser with no problems at all.
    However, when I try to deploy a business process (using ant on build.xml) from JDeveloper I get the following error:
    BUILD FAILED
    C:\product\10.1.3.1\OracleAS_1\j2ee\home\SalesforceIntegration\LoginToSalesforce\build.xml:79: A problem occurred while establishing a connection to the BPEL Server.
    Please make sure the server is running on host "127.0.0.1", port "8888".
    I have turned off any firewalls and also my hosts file includes a line for 127.0.0.1 localhost.
    I am at a loss as to why JDeveloper thinks the BPEL server is not running on 127.0.0.1:8888 when I know it is and I can using the BPEL Server GUI to deploy the Business Process jar just fine.
    Please Help.

  • Exception While importing or unable to browse the xsd to a BPEL Project

    Dear All..,
    I am having an issue wjile importing the schema to a BPEL project. It says that unable to load the schema.
    Even When I try to choose the schema through edit variable option, and to mention the URI of schema location, on click of the search button, the Jdev hangs for ever. Why this scenario is happening.
    I replaced the JDEV copy i have, still its shows the same issue. Is it a problem from the OS. The Jdev Version is 1.3.4.1
    Please update...
    Many Thanks in advance...

  • Calling a BPEL process from java (STRUTS)

    Hi,
    I´ve a workspace where I have all the deployed bpel processes, and I´ve other workspace with a Struts project. I deployed my Struts project in the OC4J Server where the BPEL processes are deployed.
    I´m trying to initialise Locator instance in a .java file. The Locator will search the bpel processes in the default domain. I get an exception when I run the project, dont know what I´m doing wrong. (can´t copy the exception from the Embedded OC4J Server)
    THE CODE:
    static Locator locator = null;
    static String bpelDomain = "default";
    static String bpelDomainPassword = "bpel";
    static String orabpelPlatform = "oc4j_10g";
    static String javaNamingFactoryInitial = "com.evermind.server.rmi.RMIInitialContextFactory";
    static String javaNamingProviderUrl = "ormi://develc15:23791/orabpel";
    static String javaNamingSecurityPrincipal = "admin";
    static String javaNamingSecurityCredentials = "welcome";
    static String dedicatedRmiContext = "true";
    public static void invokeProcess(String processName, String operationName, String sXml)
    try
    Properties props = new java.util.Properties();
    props.setProperty("orabpel.platform",orabpelPlatform);
    props.setProperty("java.naming.factory.initial",javaNamingFactoryInitial);
    props.setProperty("java.naming.provider.url",javaNamingProviderUrl);
    props.setProperty("java.naming.security.principal",javaNamingSecurityPrincipal);
    props.setProperty("java.naming.security.credentials",javaNamingSecurityCredentials);
    props.setProperty("dedicated.rmicontext", dedicatedRmiContext);
    locator = new Locator(bpelDomain, bpelDomainPassword,props);
    } catch (Exception r)
    r.printStackTrace();

    I tried to call an async BPEL process from simple Java client. The only difference that I see in your code and mine is, that I haven't specified the "orabpelPlatform" and "dedicatedRMIContext" properties. Also, another diferenece is the ProviderURL used. I have copied the settings as found under "samples/tutorial/102.InvokeProcess/rmi/Context.Properties".
    While setting the properties use -
    Context.INITIAL_FACTORY
    Context.PROVIDER_URL
    Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL
    Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS
    instead of specifying java.naming.xxxxxx class names.
    Please check the file to see what are the Context properties set during installation for your BPEL PM. Use the same to define Properties to be passed as parameter in the Locator constructor.

  • Invoking BPEL Process from a JSP Page 500 Internal Server Error

    Hi,
    I try to invoke a BPEL Process from a JSP Page and receive the following error. I just pasted the example from the Oracle PM Developer's Guide tutorial. Previously I deployed the CreditRatingService BPEL Process.
    Can anyone help me, please?
    D.
    Here is a sequence from my JSP / and the error I get:
    String ssn = request.getParameter("ssn");
    if(ssn == null)
    ssn = "123-12-1234";
    String xml = "<ssn xmlns=\"http://services.otn.com\">"
    + ssn + "</ssn>";
    Locator locator = new Locator("default","welcome1");
    IDeliveryService deliveryService =
    (IDeliveryService)locator.lookupService
    (IDeliveryService.SERVICE_NAME );
    // construct the normalized message and send to oracle bpel process manager
    NormalizedMessage nm = new NormalizedMessage( );
    nm.addPart("payload", xml );
    NormalizedMessage res =

    Here is the solution:
    Properties props = new Properties();
    props.setProperty("orabpel.platform", "oc4j_10g");
    props.setProperty("java.naming.factory.initial",
    "com.evermind.server.rmi.RMIInitialContextFactory");
    props.setProperty("java.naming.provider.url", "ormi://localhost/orabpel");
    props.setProperty("java.naming.security.principal", "oc4jadmin");
    props.setProperty("java.naming.security.credentials", "welcome1");
    and several jars have to be added to the project:
    Orabpel.jar , Orabpel-common.jar, oc4j*.jar,
    %ANT_HOME%\lib\ant.jar;
    %ANT_HOME%\lib\xercesImpl.jar;
    %ANT_HOME%\lib\xml-apis.jar;
    %AXIS_HOME%\lib\axis.jar;
    %AXIS_HOME%\lib\axis-ant.jar;
    %AXIS_HOME%\lib\commons-discovery.jar;
    %AXIS_HOME%\lib\commons-logging.jar;
    %AXIS_HOME%\lib\jaxrpc.jar;
    %AXIS_HOME%\lib\log4j-1.2.8.jar;
    %AXIS_HOME%\lib\saaj.jar;
    %AXIS_HOME%\lib\wsdl4j.jar;

    Any ideas on how to resolve this issue and deploy the project? Thanks in advance.
    Irene

    Here are some alternatives:
    1.Consider creating an application server connection and select deploy to your new application server connection, not to sar.
    2.Consult for example: SCAC-50012
    3. Recompile with -Xlint:unchecked for details
    4.Although they seem harmless, get rid of the warnings
    5. Consider posting to another forum such as SOA Suite

  • Error while creating an asynchronous BPEL project

    In BPEL Project Creation Wizard-> while selecting the Input and Output Schema element, Instead of getting the complete namespace in "Type",
    I get "{}PODesc".
    Why is it not picking the complete namespace???

    User,
    The people on the [url http://forums.oracle.com/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=320]SOA Suite Forum or [url http://forums.oracle.com/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=212]BPEL Forum can probably better help (a copy-and-paste from another reply just an hour or so ago)
