Adding AIADemo BPEL projects to JDeveloper 10.1.3.4

Hi all,
I'm in a project using AIA2.5 FP and using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4. I copied a EBF project from the server to my computer and I soon I open a file from this project it gives syntax error. I believe that the problem is not in the project itself, since he is deployed and running on the server, but some missconfiguration in my JDeveloper. Do I need to configure any particular thing in JDev so I can import BPEL projects from server? It does not happen only with this project. Schema locations are all pointing to the server.
Any help?
Thanks,
António Amado

There was no such thing as JDeveloper 8.
Two options - if you have the project or workspace file (jpr or jws extensions) - just open them in JDeveloper and this should take care of bringing in the source.
If you don't have those - then do file->New->projects->Project from existing source and point to the directory where the source files are.
You might need to do a bit more tweaking of the Web content location under project properties->content

  • TopLink mapping errors on opening BPEL project in JDeveloper

    Hi,
New to BPEL, and have just got back from the SOA course.
I would appreciate some assistance in resolving the following type of error that appears when I start Jdeveloper and click on a particular BPEL project. I received the project in a ZIP file, which I then added to an existing (empty) application:
"There was a problem encountered loading the TopLink Mappings
    project:<br>file:/D:/POMV/AltaFacilidadenRed/toplink/ModeloDatos/ModeloDatos.mwp"
I have checked the directory mentioned, and the file is not present, nor was it present in the oiginal ZIP file.
There are several other such errors, some of which I can tell are from typos, for example "borrraCustomer". In this example, I can see references to it in the .jpr file, as well as a single reference to it in the .bpel file:
    xmlns:ns31="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/adapter/db/BorrraCustomerServices/"
How do I go about resolving these errors - Can it be done within Jdeveloper, or do I need to edit files.
    Regards - Anit

    Hi,
Did some digging around, and found a previous posting on a db adapter related issue which advised deleting from the project jpr file the offending entries in the following areas:
    <hash n="topLinkGenerateStatusReport">
    <hash n="topLinkMapsLocations">
    <hash n="topLinkQualifyTableNames">
Did this, and now the project opens without errors.

  • Error in deploying BPEL project from Jdeveloper

    Hi all,

Can you check these things :
    1) is this issue with only this project ? Try deploying some other project
    2) try deploying this project using ant (change values in build.properties and right click on project -> run ant or something like that, use default deploy target)
    3) try undeploying project from server and then redeploying it again
also, why is it connecting to port 80? normally it is 8888 or 7777 right?

  • How to create RPC encoded wsdl for the bpel project created in jdeveloper?

    Hi,
I have to create a bpel project in jdeveloper with the wsdl of the project in rpc encoded format. By default when we create a bpel project in jdeveloper it creates a wsdl file of document literal format, but i need the wsdl to be rpc encoded format. Please let me know how can i achieve this.
    Thanks.

    Hi Nico,
    Thanks for your reply.
You mentioned to specify type in place of element, from where do you get this type and what more changes we need to do for the entire project to compile well with out errors.
As suggested by you, I changed the element to type and tried to compile, it is giving the below error.
    Error:
    [Error ORABPEL-10902]: compilation failed
[Description]: in "bpel.xml", XML parsing failed because "undefined part type.
In WSDL at "file:/D:/indu/jdevstudio10134/jdev/mywork/TimerApplication/SelectDB/bpel/SelectDB.wsdl", message part type "SelectDBProcessRequestType" is not defined in any of the schemas.
Please make sure the spelling of the type QName is correct and the WSDL import is complete.
    [Potential fix]: n/a.
Please let me know what are all the changes that need to be done to complie the project successfully.
    Thanks and Regards.

  • Empty BPEL Project Fails to migrate...

    Hi Everyone,
I migrated a BPEL project from JDeveloper 10.1.2 to 10.1.3.3.
After successfully letting JDev do the migration for me, the rebuild failed, and I ended up deleting all the project code, leaving only the receiveInput - relayOutput skeleton. And still - the project fails to compile.
The error I am getting is:
    Error: Failed to compile classes.
Failed to compile the generated BPEL classes for "IMP-4KOrd".
Below is the .bpel file, and I would greatly appreciate if anyone could comment on any mistakes they see in it, or possibly suggest how to get a more meaningful error description from the JDev-BPEL compiler.

    Hi Sashwat,
    Ther requirement goes here.....
    1. CSV file initite the process (assume it has two columns .....)
    2. Based upon the CSV file data we have to invoke one webservice (existing)
    3. There will be mapping between Recieved Data from CSV (source ) and WebSrvice input variable
    4. WebService is secured webService so we need to pass some values like username / pasword inside SOAP header

  • JDeveloper Giving XSD Parse Error in BPEL Project during Adapter Config

    Folks:
I receive the following error in the JDEV "Type Chooser" from the Adapter Configuration Wizard GUI:
    Under the ESB Projects header:
"Exception: Unable To Parse schema EmpDBOut_table.xsd"
Yet, If I manually add the exact same XSD to the root of the BPEL PRoject, it parses perfectly fine.
    JDeveloper Version: 10.1.3.2.0.4066 Studio Edition
    Steps to recreate: 1) Create New BPEL Project with Empty BPEL Process;
    2) Add a JMS AdapterService and step through the Adapter wizard:
    Step 1 Name: TestESB
    Step 2 OEMS: memory/file
Step 3: Connection (give it your previously configured App Server Connection)
    Step 4: Select Consume Message
Step 5: Destination Name = demoTopic(Topic) at root of JMS tree
Step 6: browse Schema location which brings up the Type Chooser dialog
Choose any schema available inside the ESB Projects or the WSDL explorer and you get the same Exception.
    What's the problem here?

I figured it out. The problem was inside the ESB Control. SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 was installed using http port 8889. When I went to look at the definitions of the end points in the ESB Control, the wsdl url location was showing 8888. When I changed the deployed ESB process using the ESB control to 8889 -- then JDeveloper was able to see the correct xsd definitions and the root elements are visible.
SO, the quick answer is ESB default server location needs to be modified if the app server port is anything but 8888.

  • JDeveloper BPEL-INF/lib. How to add libraries to a bpel project.

    Hi.
Include libraries in BPEL-INF/lib in a Jdev 10.1.3.3 bpel project is not so trivial. Does anybody know how to make that the same ant task provided by JDeveloper for deploy bpel process include the libraries needed in the BPEL-INF/lib?? or is there a better option than modify the ant task? how can a i do it?? My actual solution is include the BPEL-INF/lib by hand in the jar generated by the jdev ant task, but this approach is so tedious.

If you use code for someone elses distributed jar file, you will have to ship their jar file with yours and include it in your classpath when launching you program.

The items lists all other kinds of projects like Generic Project, ADF Model Project, ADF Swing Project, EJB Project, etc
I am new to Oracle Fusion world. Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Hi Julian,
Now I have installed the SOA extension.
Does it list as SOA project in items in 11g? In 10g, it was listing as BPEL project.. Both are same OR still am i missing anything?

It looks like a namespace issue. If possible can you provide us with the details on wsdl and xsd.

  • Unable to call a web service from BPEL Project

I am running my BPEL PM on Windows XP SP3. The platform is weblogic 9.2, SOA 10.1.3.1.
I created a simple BPEL project to call a web service and when I run the project from BPELConsole I getting the following error:
exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Bad response: 407 Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy filter is denied. )
I am able to call this web service from soapUI client.
Any help or hint is appreciated.
    Thanks

I have had this issue before when calling a .NET service, it was firewall related. I didn't actually make the fix so I can't tell you exactly how it was fixed on the server. I hope this info makes sense as this this the info I got from the IT boys
I’ve install this tool on your computer:
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=05C2C932-B15A-4990-B525-66380743DA89&displaylang=en
    which does that:
Firewall Client for ISA Server can be optionally installed on client computers protected by Microsoft ISA Server. Firewall Client for ISA Server provides enhanced security, application support, and access control for client computers. It provides authentication for Winsock applications that use TCP and UDP, supports complex secondary protocols, and supplies user and application information to the ISA Server logs.
When a client computer running Firewall Client for ISA Server makes a request, the destination is evaluated by the Firewall Client software, and external requests are directed to the ISA Server computer for handling. No specific routing infrastructure is required. Firewall Client sends user information transparently with each request, enabling you to create a firewall policy on the ISA Server computer with rules that use the authentication credentials presented by the client. ISA Server allows you to configure automatic discovery for Firewall client computers, using a WPAD entry in DNS or DHCP to obtain correct Web proxy settings for clients, depending on their location.
and I’ve added a exception in IE to the tools-lan settings-advanced-exceptions to be creditworks.* Did this by modifying the GPO that applies to your account, so all the users in National Office should have that exception.
    hope you can use this.
    cheers

  • How to create and deploy a JSP which calls a BPEL process in JDEVELOPER

    Hi Gurus,
I don't know how to create a JSP in JDEVELOPER which call a BPEL process. I have gone through the tutorials. Since, I am new to JDEVELOPER I need some help.
    1. How to create a JSP (I know creating application and project, also I know JSP coding)
    2. How to deploy this JSP?
    3. For the Synchronos BPEL project, the build.xml is created automatically, in this forum, I see people talking about ear war .deploy etc. How do we get them automatically created. Or do we need to create them manually. If it has to be manual some sample scripts would be of great help.
Any help in this regard would be really great.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sankar.

I found the following tutorial which clearly explains how to deploy J2EE apps.
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe1013jdev/deployment/deployment.htm
I created a simple jsp file in a project, followed the steps in the tutorial and it got deployed onto: http://localhost:9700
For invoking BPEL process through JSP, I have reused the jsp files available in : 102.InvokingProcesses\jsp and changed the processes and input accordingly.
Please post me a query in this thread, if any of you want any specific details.

Thanks a lot. It helped me a lot. It seems this is the problem with the BPEL Console. I tried to create another BPEL Project to invoke the other service/operations. It worked perfectly fine. I had even tested with SoapUI. It worked fine. Thanks for the right pointer.

  • Impossible to connect to BPEL server from Jdeveloper

We have installed the soa suite in the following way
    -     oracle home 1 on server 1: http server
    -     oracle home 2 on server 1: apps server with two oc4j, one for the jsso and em and another one for bpel.
I want to deploy the bpel process from jdeveloper.
I first do a server connection to the server 1. When I try to test the connection I get an error
Error getting OC4J Process for: opmn-home+oc4j-oraclesoa.smartwavesa.com-6004-default:
Error connecting to OPMN (is it running?): Connection refused: connect
So I tried to modify the opmn.xml of oracle home 2 by adding the following line
    <ipaddr remote=”0.0.0.0” request=”0.0.0.0”/>
After this modification I am able to connect to oracle home 2 from jdeveloper BUT the http URL of enterprise manager and bpel console are no more available.
So my question is how can I enable the deployment of bpel process from Jdeveloper to the server 1?
    Thanks for your help

Yes admin instance is running on home 2 and more precisely on oc4j_home.
BPEL and ESB is also running on home 2 but on another oc4j oc4j_soa
If I use the standard configuration (the one that has been created during the installation) I am able to reach all the consoles BPEL, ESB or Enterprise Manager.
