Redownload and Reinstall Documents To Go Pro Bundle Win English
Hello!
I have had my palm E2 for about 2 years now and haven't used it a lot. I decided to use it again and gave my other handheld to my sis. The problem is that my sis lost the installation cd that came along with it. I managed to download the palm hotsync software from the support website but nowhere could I find the documents to go download link.
I have the documents to go software installed in the device and would like to install the documents to go software on my PC so I could sync some of my documents.
I checked with my account on dataviz since upon installing 2 years ago I registered the product but unfortunately the download links available comes with a price.
I would like to know if there are any free download links out there.. I have my registration and activation number from dataviz, so as long as I can have the software I would just use these numbers to license my product.

Palm's license to distribute a free copy of DTG was limited to the installation discs...there is no free download. If you don't want to pay Dataviz, you should be able to find a replacement disc on eBay, pdaparts.com or usedpdaparts.com .

I have uninstalled and reinstall Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro on my new machine. My new machine runs Mac OS X 10.9.5. Every time I try to click on Help > Registration it returns an error message 'Registration Unsuccessful" "A problem was encountered while trying to send information over the Internet". I have no issue with Internet connection. Just wondering why this is happening and is there any way we can register this application.

This version of Acrobat was never tested on this version of Mac and is unsupported.
I would suggest you may upgrade to latest version of Acrobat and that will work fine. It has loads of new and enhanced features than Acrobat 8.

Redownload and reinstall all installed packages
I need to redownload and reinstall all installed packages, because I made some tests with prelink and something goes wrong. I found an article in wiki that covers download of installed packages, but howto reinstall them all?
The problem is that some apps are acting weird. I also have problem with compiling of AUR packages, because I get this error message:
checking how to recognise dependent libraries... pass_all

The gcc package is installed. Any sugestions?

Erase and Reinstall on New Macbook Pro
I'm trying to start over. I have a new Macbook Pro, have had to erase the HD and reinstall OSX, and am trying to reinstall the iLife software prior to going through the Startup Assistant again. After reinstalling OSX, it just restarts and go straight into the Startup. How do I get the Applications Install completed first? The instructions aren't clear.

Message was edited by: Randy HessNo, I have a second disc that came with my Mac, but there are no promptings to insert that disc after erase and install. The disc with Mac OS X is retained after erase and install and there is merely a prompt to restart the machine. When I restart, the computer immediately launches into the information collecting mode which lets you configure the machine. I called it the "setup assistant" by mistake, sorry. You know the one I'm talking about... that starts up when you first open your new Mac. It won't let you quit this either, until you're done.
I want to install the 2nd DVD applications (iLife) before I go into the new computer setup because, when I bring information over from my old computer using that process, the iLife applications seem to need to be there for the transfer of certain information or it won't let you proceed. I've tried it twice now! Maybe I can go to the Mac OS X Installer after erase and install and see something I could do that would allow me to switch discs.
As a side note, I'm having a conflict regarding the use of my account name. It won't let me use the same name I did on my old computer's account. But if I change it, it moves my information to a second account other than my administrator account! I don't see why it can't just move my info to the account I'm setting up when it automatically fills in your name based upon your Apple information. Anyway, my information ends up being inaccessible to the administrator account because it's in a different account! I don't want to be logging into two different accounts on my own computer!
Maybe I'm making this harder than it should be somehow. I never thought I'd run into so much trouble by just wanting to bring information over from my old computer! LOL -
How to format HDD and reinstall OS on macbook pro mid 2010 without the installation DVD.
After updated the OS with MAVERICKS becomme my macbook very slow. So I want to format the HDD and reinstall the OS but without the installation DVD - (lost).

OS X Lion and newer include OS X Recovery to reinstall Mac OS X without the need of a DVD. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718
First of all, copy your most important files to an external drive, or make a backup of your files. Then, hold Command and R keys while your Mac is starting, open Disk Utility and erase Macintosh HD by choosing it in the Disk Utility's sidebar and going to Erase tab.
Finally, close Disk Utility and reinstall OS X -

Installation
Before you install SAPSprint, delete SAPLPD manually. To do this, you normally need to completely delete the installation directory only. If you installed SAPLPD as a service using the srvany tool, you can remove the service by calling 'Instsrv SAPLPD remove'.
You can download SAPSprint as a self-extracting executable file from SAP Service Marketplace:
1. Entry by Application Group (on the left)
2. SAP Frontend Components (on the right)
3. SAPSPRINT (on the right)
4. SAPSPRINT <Release> (on the right)
5. SAPSPRINT <Release> (on the right)
6. Win32 (on the right)
Start the program. After you enter the installation path, the system prompts you to enter the TCP/IP port.
Normally, the default setting of 515 is suitable for the port. You should only change this setting if the Windows TCP/IP print service is also running on the computer. The SAPSprint Windows service starts as soon as the installation is over.
We recommend that you set up the following options for the service in the Windows Service Control Manager:
The service should run under a domain user that has the relevant authorizations for the required printers. After the installation, the service runs under "Local system account". This can access locally-defined printers only. You can set the user in the Windows Service Control Manager, in the options of the SAPSprint service.
If you want to delete SAPSprint, you can do so using the normal Windows uninstall tool.
We recommend that you install the SAPSprint service on a separate computer and not together with a SAP system, especially if you use a large number of printers. All printers that SAPSprint uses must be installed on the SAPSprint computer. This applies particularly to released printers from other computers. These should be installed as a queue on the SAPSprint server.
Also note further settings in accordance with Note 1069483.
Settings
You can display the call parameters available for SAPSprint by calling 'sapsprint -?' on the command line. The most important parameters are those that set options, especially log options for troubleshooting.
You can set the log level to 5 by specifying 'sapsprint -oi LogLevel 5'. Immediately after installation, no log level is set up, which means that no log file is created. By setting the log level to 1, 5, or 9, you can ensure that more information is available in the directory that you specified during the installation. A file called sapsprint.dbg and a print job specific file with a variable name are generated. The second file is deleted after successful printing. It is only retained if the printout is recognized as incorrect. If you set the option 'sapsprint -oi KeepFile 1', then both this file and the print file are retained. This is primarily intended for troubleshooting by SAP Support.
All options are case-sensitive. You can display the most important SAPSprint options by calling 'sapsprint -?'. All possible options are described in Note 85469. Normally, the options described there are not necessary - you should use them only in exceptional circumstances. -

I consider buying a MacBook pro 15 with hi-res screen.
My primary use is text editing and document reading (primarily Word).
I want as good as possible "clearness" or is it called contrast, leat blurry looking text.
Anyone who has any experience and/or opinion on this.

TerjeIf I were you, I would opt for the high-res/anti-glare option - it's only $100US now: back when I purchased my MBP in March of 2012, it was a $250 option which I just couldn't afford. Now, looking at the new models side-by-side, I wish that I had ponyed up the $250 for the HR/AG option.
I'm certain that you won't regret it - the people that have the option seem to be tickled pink with it. These days I'm using a (glossy) 17" Apple Thunderbolt Display 90% of the time in a semi-dark room. But I find that my MBP with the glossy screen is simply unusable when outdoors or in bright backlighting.

Running Firefox 36.0.1 a security update was downloaded on 3.19.2015.
Norton said it found a cloud 9 problem. Afterwards tried to open Firefox,
but instead of opening I received a 'Can't Find Run-Time' error.
Deleted Firefox from programs, installed new and everything worked just fine.
2 days later received a security update downloaded it and the same exact thing happened.
After deleting again, Installed new with 36.0.3 and everything works fine again.

First time wipe and reinstall on a MacBook Pro
Hi everyone...
I have a 2007 MBP and the day has finally come to reinstall and start over. The system has become to unstable lately and I need to start from scratch.
I am running 10.7.5 (the latest I can, given how old my Mac is) and have backed up everything to Time Machine as well as Crash Plan.
My question is how do I only reimport certain things, not do a full restore from backup after I am done? I want to reinstall and have a clean, fresh install, then import my iPhoto and iTunes libraries (and maybe one or two other things). Can someone point me in the right direction for this?
Thanks!Did your MBP come with installation discs? If so, boot from the install disk, use Disk Utility to erase and partition your internal drive and re-install the OS that came with your computer.

All the books I paid money for will not open in iBooks on my MAC. Mavericks will not let me uninstall iBooks, so I cannot uninstall and reinstall it on my Pro. I have deleted and re-loaded the books and they show in my library (as they always did), but when I open them, all I get is a blank page with three dots at the bottom, flashing in sequence. This does not affect the free books from the book store nor does it affect the PDF I have loaded myself. (I had this problem on my iPad when the latest big software came out about a year or two ago, but I was able to re-initalize the complete iPad from my Pro Book.) I have tried just about everything I can think of, but all to no avail. To save time, I have reset my iTunes password and performed all the other "Apple Tips" in the support section, but after 5 hours I am giving up. Surely someone else must be having the same issue??
Yup, same issue since installing Mavericks. iBooks works fine on my wife's Macbook Pro, but on my Mac Pro none of my purchased (protected) books will open - only the free/unprotected ones.
I'm asked for my AppleID password, but nothing happens when I try to open a purchased and downloaded book. I deauthorized, reauthorized, etc ... nothing. Each purchased book that I double-click gives me a dialog asking for my Apple ID password. Nothing else.
I was already buying more books via Kindle than iTunes and this just seals the deal for me. At least I can read my already-purchased iBooks books on my iPad still... -
Error when opening iTunes : iTunes has stopped working '' A problem caused the program to stop working correctly''.
When I repaired damaged files the problem still exists and also after uninstalling, redownloading and reinstalling iTunes.
My pc is working with windos 8.

It sounds like you are getting an error from iTunes when you launch it. I would try the troubleshooting in this article named:
iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues

Start with troubleshooting for 3rd party plug ins section, then the rest of the article if needed:
Start iTunes in Safe Mode
Open iTunes in Safe Mode to isolate any interference from plug-ins or scripts not manufactured by Apple.
Hold down Shift–Control while opening iTunes. You should see a dialog that says "iTunes is running in safe mode" before iTunes finishes starting up.
Click Continue.
See if the issue you're experiencing persists in Safe Mode.
If you have the same issue while iTunes is in Safe Mode, proceed to the "Create a new user account" section. If you don't experience the same issue, follow these steps to remove third-party plug-ins.

Here's the ordeal. I'm running a 2007 MacBook Pro 17 inch with Lion OS. When I converted to Lion, I didn't have enough room on my harddrive to convert to the new FileVault, so I remained on the old system. Less than a week ago I reboot my computer because iPhoto seems to be stuck on "cataloging" my photos, though after days of letting it run, it doesn't do anything. After the reboot, my computer appears as if it had been reset to factory settings with all my programs gone, etc. I'm like, hey, I've got Time Machine, I'll restore it. After the restore is run, when I go to login, I get the dreadful error message, "You are unable to log into the FileVault user "John" at this time. Logging into the account failed because an error occurred". I searched the internet via my iPhone for suggestions and followed everyone of them, all the way down to erasing my harddrive and reinstalling Lion. So I get back into my computer and think I'm golden. I go to restore my computer via Time Machine and wham....I'm right back to that error message. I think, ok, I'll do it again. This time it messes us even more, giving me two login screens, one for the new Lion like before I restored the computer and then a second, as if it were restored, but unable to login. On top of that, I couldn't get back to the Command-R page! I thought I was really screwed! Well, I finally figured a way back, or maybe it was just that it finally decided to cooperate, I don't know, but I erased my harddrive again, and reinstalled again and thought, well, I'll rebuild manually by selecting what I want to restore from the Time Machine drive. I was able to get all my applications back and running, but to my dismay, I seemingly have lost all my iTunes music (except that which Apple has graciously setup to redownload now "thank you!) plus all my iPhoto's and even worse, all my DOCUMENTS!!!! Here I thought Time Machine from backing all this stuff up, but with over a years worth of back-ups I cannot locate any photos, music, or my documents on my drive to extract! Needless to say, I will never be using Time Machine again to back up my computer, I'll find another program or at least do it all manually. But my question is: am I looking in the wrong places for this files? Are they hidden under some unknowning folder that doesn't list it as music, photos or files? I can manage with the music, I can live with the photos because my wife has many of them on her computer and I have many uploaded to Facebook, but my files! My documents, thousands of them, many with information I won't be able to compile again, seemingly gone unless someone out there has any ideas?!!!
I even had iPhoto search the drive for photos and after hours of the barber shop pole spinning I cancelled the command for I figured it wasn't going to find anything.
If anyone has any suggestions, or if Apple, you are reading this and can provide some direction, I would greatly appreciate it.Also - my battery has been telling me "service battery" for a LONG time and then it switched to "replace soon" som time ago. Can't really see what this has to do with anything but whatever.
That could conceivably explain all the problems you're describing. Replacing a Mac's battery should not be postponed since a failed battery will cause other problems to occur. It is also possible that its hard disk has failed, which means the information on it may soon become unrecoverable.
... my latest TM back up was from April 2014, can I just run this when I have rescued everthing and then it might not be as slow?
If that Time Machine backup remains intact, it may be the only viable means of recovering that Mac's information. I suggest you do not attempt to restore its contents to your ailing Mac.
Given that you are having trouble creating a newer Time Machine backup you should stop using that Mac immediately and have it serviced as soon as you are able. Do not take it to anyone other than Apple or a service facility authorized by Apple, for the very reasons you explained. If there are no Apple Stores in your vicinity search for an Authorized Apple Service Provider using the Contact Us link below. Use one of the options that appear under Contact Apple Support. The language on that page will be different for your location. -
I uninstalled and reinstalled iwork 09 on my macBook Pro. Now it won't open the software or any of the documents I have created. I uninstalled it because I got Microsoft Office - I was tired of not being compatible with the rest of the world. I realized after I had uninstalled the iworks that I needed it to open the files. So I reinstalled it using the CD that I had originally purchased. It installed with no problem, but will not open. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
