Redraw

Hi friends,
I have reproduced my example in apex.oracle.com and i want you to take a look at that.

Under the Application 31860 and page 2 i have a 'org chart' which i made using the google plugin
In that i have a org chart, if i click each and every node in chart means it will fetch the related details in the form(in which all the fields in the form will be in display only manner, except the mgr field which is in lov)
Suppose if i changed the manager in the form which is in lov means, automatically the node redraws and the node comes under the manager that i select in the form. But that part is not getting working, as im getting some javascript error.
Can you kindly look into that javascript error, that is occuring.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Im looking to reproduce the below thing in my application(i.e the redraw feature in google chart which is explained below in the link)

Dear Roel,
My demo to the client is over and they were happy with the things that I have done with the help of you Roel.
I couldn't achieve this with out you Roel, thanks for it and i really appreciate your patience in helping me out of the redrawing issue that i faced in the chart.
And now as a extension of it, i need your help in doing a little customization in it Roel, in the sense what kind of customization means.
Whether it is possible to capture the empid, mgrid for each and every node in org chart in the table after applying the filters that i have in my page
for example: if you consider my org chart demo application which is in apex.oracle.com of application number: 50076 in page 1
If i apply the filter like from level: 1 to level 3
Organization: Finance
Org Owner: Ian Rush
Then ill get the filtered org chart under ian rush like
------------------ ian rush
                      |
                |-------------|
              Terry         Raheem
                |
               Ryan
Suppose,if i change Ryan under ian rush means, ill be getting the chart as
-------------------ian rush
                |-----|-------|
              Terry  Ryan   Raheem
Soon after the above change i need to insert the emp id, mgr id of each and every nodes in my custom table
In my custom table i have the following columns like
<li>version id
<li>emp id
<li>mgr id
<li>flag
Flag in the sense what i meant is i need have the flag as 'Y' to the person whom i changed in the chart and for the remaining others i need to have flag like N
Whether it is possible to capture those filtered changes of the chart in my custom table that i have.
If it is possible means, then how i can able to insert the empid, mgrid of each and every node to the corresponding column in the custom table that i have.
I was been confused very much of how to capture the value(empid, mgr id) of each and every node in my custom table.
Can you guide me with this Roel.
Sorry for any disturbance indeed.

Mini

  • Photoshop CS2 redraw garbage when moving around an image window on my G4 laptop

Hi.I recently had to reinstall Photoshop CS2 onto my Mac Laptop 1.5 GHz PowerPC G4, running system 10.4.11, which required a new hard drive after the old one died. I am immediatly encountering a serious redraw/image repositioning problem in Photoshop that I have never seen before, and in Imageready as well. This does not happen in Macromedia Fireworks 8 however.
I am zoomed into an image. Using the hand tool, or the scroll bars or the arrows, as soon as I move an image little messed up line graphic glitches appear and stay in place for the remainder or working with an image, and ultimately covers the image completely after moving around within it a number of times. you can see examples of this in these screenshots I've uploaded:
    http://pixeljam.com/temp/photoshopRedrawGarbage/moveGarbage04.gif
    http://pixeljam.com/temp/photoshopRedrawGarbage/moveGarbage03.gif
    http://pixeljam.com/temp/photoshopRedrawGarbage/moveGarbage02.gif
and the lines stay the same size and position even when zooming in. here's the same image w/ the same defects zoomed out and in:
    http://pixeljam.com/temp/photoshopRedrawGarbage/moveGarbage01.gif
    http://pixeljam.com/temp/photoshopRedrawGarbage/moveGarbage01_zoomed.gif
I've tried trashing & re-installing photoshop completely, tried running it before the updates needed from the original Photoshop application disk, and after. still the same problem.
This occurs only when using the laptop on its own. When I hook it up to my Apple Studio Cinema Display, it works fine. The problem does not occur on the Cinema Display OR the laptop screen! it's very odd. Basically, the laptop is now something I cannot actually use away from my desk until this is resolved.
Has anyone ever encountered this or possibly have any suggestions or advice? Thanks so much!
    -Rich

Hi. Thanks for your responses. There is definitely some incorrectness in the info I provided about the computer. for the Hard Drive, it's odd.. I copied and pasted that from my system profiler.. In actuality the Hard Drive is 74.53 GB. Not sure how that error occurred.
Also I looked again at the computer's memory. I forgot the second larger 1GB memory card when I was copying and pasting from the system profiler. Sorry about that. I was in a but of a rush to get the question out.

Another thing I noticed about the problem I'm facing is that it leaves defects from mouse trails as well in the image window. None of the defects are lasting nor will they print. I close the file and they go away, if I zoom, they stay the same size. I'd agree, it sounds like a video card problem, but the reason I posted here is that only in photoshop and imageready do these problems occur. My guess, if it's the video card is that they are just programs that require more of the system. why my video card would be crapping out now, I have no idea. but I guess that's how it goes.
But why would it work fine when hooked up to the apple cinema display? even on the laptop screen itself the problem is not present. only when the laptop is on its own.
The computer has served me very well for almost 3 years without this problem, so that's why it's something that is not a normal problem that should be expected from this computer. I am grateful to have it & can't afford a new one.. this one is still sitting on my credit card balance. Thankfully I am under the applecare protection plan and will bring it in to the local Mac shop on monday and demonstrate the issue to them.
    Thanks for your replies.

  • Contribute "low on memory" and Acrobat won't redraw

I have two issues that I believe may be related.  First here's my system information
    WinXP SP3
    Intel Core2Duo E6550 = (2.33GHz)
    3GB RAM
    GeForce 8600GTS 512 MB Video
Running two 19" monitors, (at 1440x900 each)
Creative Suite Premium 2.0 (InDesign CS2, Photoshop CS2, IllustratorCS2, Acrobat 7 Professional, BridgeCS2, GoLive CS2Version Cue is disabled.)
Production Studio Premium 1.0 (Premiere Pro 2, Encore DVD 2, After Effects 7, Audition 2)
Contribute CS3, (including Bridge CS3, but I don't use it, I use Bridge CS2 for everything).
First Issue.  Intermittently, in both Adobe Reader 9, and Acrobat 7.0 pdf files that I have open will not display in the window properly, unless I reduce the size of the window to something quite small.  It will show the desktop in behind the window, or if I open a window on top, it shows that window even when I've moved it.
The second problem is similar, but occurs in Contribute CS3 and is always accompanied by a "Your system is low on memory..." error, until I reduce the size of the Contribute window, at which point, it is so small that it becomes unuseable.
The only other program that I have open at the time is Outlook 2007, with a couple of messages.
As this is happening, I open the Task Manager, see that there is plenty of available Physical Memory, and the CPU Usage is very low, under 10%.  I've set my virtual memory paging file to Custom Size of 4591MB.
The only way to fix it is to reduce the size of windows or close all the programs.  These two problems occur independently of each other.  Sometimes when I'm just trying to open a PDF file.
3GB should be plenty to run Contribute and Outlook, or Acrobat and Bridge.
What the heck is going on?

    Thanks for the reply.
Yes I have tried that, but to no avail.  The crazy thing is that it only really happens after I've been working in Contribute for a while.  Sometimes an hour or more.  Then it just starts doing this.
The redraw problem also affects other programs, that are not Adobe programs.  For example, when I open a Remote Desktop Connection to the web server where I am publishing, while this problem is occuring, the screen will not "draw" properly either.
I have a feeling that there is something strange about how Contribute, and Acrobat, and Windows share the memory, either the system memory, or the graphics memory.
Could this also be a problem caused by having both CS2 and CS3 programs installed?

  • JTextField does not redraw properly

    Hi,
I have a JPanel that displays some buttons amongst some textfields and labels. One of my buttons is labeled Add Customer. When the user clicks on Add Customer he is presented with a number of JTextFields and JLabels which are all displayed fine.
However, when the user clicks on Cancel or closes the InternalFrame in which the JTextFields and JLabels are displayed and then clicks on Add Customer again, then the JTextFields are not redrawn properly. I image of this behavior can be seen at
    http://www.grosslers.com/totals.07.png
As soon as I start to type text into the textfield then the whole textfield redraws itself as it should, but when it looses focus then the textfield becomes invisible once again.

              return panel_addCustomerButtons;
}So far I have a solution, and that is to use the GTK look and feel, but it is not really an option. Another way that I have managed to get the textfields to display properly is to create them in the same method, where I create the labels. Again, this is not really an option as i need to access the textfields outside the method scope.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

    I added the following :
         * Panel that displays the textfields and labels when the user clicks on
         * add or view customer details
         public JPanel customerDetailsPanel() {
// Create master container for this panel

// Add the details panel to the master panel
              panel_customerDetailsMaster.add(panel_customerDetails);
// Set the border for the panel
              panel_customerDetails.setBorder(BorderFactory.createTitledBorder("Customer Details"));
// Create textfields/labels, add them to the internalFrame
              JLabel label_customerCompanyName = new JLabel("Company Name : ");

              panel_customerDetails.add(label_customerContactName);
              panel_customerDetails.add(textField_customerEditContactName);
// Added this line , but doesn't seem to make a difference. also called revalidate() on the
// internalFrame in which this panel is displayed but no luck either. Called revalidate()
    // on panel_customerDetailsMaster but nothing :(
              panel_customerDetails.revalidate();
              //Lay out the panel.

  • Redraw order problems with paintComponent

    hi,
i've got this test code below which is simply meant to overlay the scrolling transparent text "HELLO" a few times on top of a normal component
my problem is that the image in the panel, is seemingly being redrawn after the text, when it should be drawn as part of the call to super.paintComponent(g)
is having a thread calling repaint() every few milliseconds is the right way to be doing this in the first place??
    any help really appreciated,

hi, thanks for the reply. I am not drawing the image myself, but am expecting it to be done as part of the redraw of my classes superclass
    public void paintComponent(Graphics g) {
super.paintComponent(g);i was expecting the call to super.paintComponent(g) to draw the contents of the JPanel that I've added (which it does do). The strange this is that the image attached to the JPanel is drawn on top the string that I paint after super.paintComponent(g) has completed. Am not sure how this could possibly happen without some complicated postponing of .drawImage coming into play??
    thanks,

  • Is there a way to detect redraw regions or at the very least when a display object is redrawn?

I have a layered window system that produces Windows 7 Aero Glass effect in Flash.
It consists of nested display objects, with overlays as so.
    Root [
        GlassWindowTop [
           RenderedEffectBackground
         BackgroundForGlassWindowTop [
             GlassWindowMiddle [
               RenderedEffectBackground
            BackgroundForGlassWindowMiddle [
                 GlassWindowBottom [
                    RenderedEffectBackground
                 BackgroundForGlassWindowBottom (e.g. the DesktopBackground)
Windows can be raised and lowered by changing their order in the hierarchy and adding new levels.
Each glass window has a designated background (containing all lower windows) .  It draws to an off-screen Bitmap the region of the background that is under the window, and applies a blur filter, tint, and parallax effects to it, and then displays that as it's own background as RenderedEffectBackground.
The problem is that "RenderedEffectBackground" is a static rendering of the window background, so in order to update it in real time, I need to detect when it's background display object (e.g. BackgroudnForGlassWindowTop) or any nested display objects are rendered.
I could simply update all RenderedEffectBackgrounds from the bottom up each frame, but that would be inefficient.   Ideally, I could detect when a particular background changes (e.g. when a textfield cursor is flashing, or a MovieClip changes frames), and then only render from that object up.  The rendering of course always has to take place from back to front, starting with the lowest window that has changed.  If I could detect the redraw regions of the Flash Player (e.g. when a textfield cursor is flashing, or a MovieClip is playing), I could optimize this system even further by checking for layer overlaps and only rendering layers whose windows intersect the redraw regions, but obtaining that level of information would probably not be possible or logical since this this essentially needs to happen during some kind of pre render phase, which Flash may not support.  Such a pre-render phase would itself be causing new redraw regions, but as long as it is processed from the bottom up, it could work.
Is there any AS3 function of the flash player that allows my code to obtain information about the display list as far as which display objects are due to be rendered, and then intercept some kind of "onRenderComplete" event for them right before rendering takes place so that I can render the higher display objects.
I originally tried to implement this as a filter, but pixel bender shaders in AS3 don't seem to allow sampling of an underlying object that would allow for blurring (i.e. the shader can access only the current point being rendered, coordinates passed to the sampling methods are ignored (this is documented behavior).
    Any ideas?

The feature that shows the link you are mousing over hasn't been removed in 29. Maybe the add-on you are using to restore the add-on bar is covering it. I've tested the Classic Theme Restorer and it seems to work correctly in this situation - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/

  • Is there a way to force s:List redraw or reprocess what it's displaying?

Is there a way to force the s:List to redraw it's content, I do some processing, and the processing doesn't get reflected unless you scroll down, and then scroll back up.
It looks like when you scroll down and scroll back up it's triggering some sort of re-calculation or redraw of the items.
Is there a way to force it to do that re draw or re-calculation without having to scroll down?

    Unfortunately that didn't work.
I don't even necessarily have to scroll down, once i touch the scroller it seems to redraw the items in the s:list.

  • Is there a workaround to 10.4's new way of redrawing screens?

I'm hoping that the people in this forum might understand my issue and and have some suggestions.
I'm using a WebEx-type web meeting service called Pixion for web presentations. Now that I've upgraded from 10.2.8 to 10.4, the service is not detecting when my screen has changed and so doesn't send over the new "slide". Tech support at Pixion says it's due to a change Apple has made with how 10.4 redraws the screen and Apple employees who use the service are also experiencing the problem after they updated to 10.4.
Pixion hasn't fixed it on their end and I'm wondering if anyone here who understands the differences between earlier version of OS X and 10.4 in respect to screen redrawing might have workaround idea--a suggestion for how to make the screen behave like an earlier OS X.
If this sheds any light on the problem, for example, in part of the meeting I use Photoshop and if I draw a box it transmits with major gaps in it. If I force it to launch in Classic, it comes across fine. I'm using a flash player embedded in Explorer for the remainder of the presentation. Any settings that maybe I could change on the OS side to get it to revert back to the other way it used to do this? Thanks!
    Powerbook G4   Mac OS X (10.4)

I am trying to avoid having to perform a daily manual process (I monitor about a dozen email accounts - not all of them from ISP's with the 60 day deletion window).  The ISP's 60 day deletion window is rolling - each day different existing messages are about to reach the threshold.  I don't want to mark messages as Read for all messages, just those that are about to be 60 days old.  I know that I can do this by creating a smart mailbox that only has messages that are 59 days old, select all of the smart mailbox messages and then right-click and "Mark as Read", but this would have to be a daily, manual process.

  • Dreamweaver 8 work area redraw problem

Hi all, I'm having severe problems with screen refreshes in
the work area - dreamweaver doesn't seem to be able to redraw the
screen. I've no idea what is going on to try and resolve the
problem and have tried completely removing dreamweaver and doing a
    'clean' reinstall to no avail.
When first started up dreamwaver draws the menus, property
bars and tool palettes ok but the Windows XP desktop shows in the
workarea. pages can be displayed and worked on alright in the split
window view, but neither the code or design views display
correctly, and CSS style sheets cannot be displayed for editing (a
window appears, but you can't see anything in it - or a split
code/design window style is displayed). dragging a document window
around the workarea leaves a trail of 'echos' of the window in the
    work area.
This is a complete mystery to me - have tried installing on
two different machines (both WinXP SP2) and applying available
updates to DW8... similar problems on both machines.
    Anyone got any ideas?

  • CS4: Super Slow Redraw on Windows 7

    Hello all,
Photoshop is running very slowly, even with tiny files (50k). I haven't had the need to run large CMYK files as yet, but I am guessing those will drastically slow the already molasses-like redraw. When I say redraw, it's actually the rulers that are taking the longest to render, after which the actual artwork appears.
    Photoshop settings:
Photoshop is using 75% of my system's resources
    'Available RAM' = 1603MB
    'History States' = 30
    'Cache Levels' = 4
Compatibility = Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
    Windows Settings:
Virtual memory: check (per Adobe's instructions)
    Scratch Disk: check
'Enable Open GL Drawing': check (off)
    Hardware:
    Dell Optiplex GX 620
    Intel 3.00GHz
    4.00GB RAM (3.5GB usable)
    32-bit OS (Windows 7 Ultimate)
I did not experience any problems installing Windows 7 or CS4. Neither crash or are glitchy in any other way... I spend 90% of my work day in PS, so it is mandatory, for my personal sanity and productivity, that PS run as fast or faster than when installed on XP.
I've attached screen captures of my PS preferences/performance and the Windows 7 basic info dialogs.
    Your help is appreciated!
    TIA,
    Mark

All, thank you for your replies. I apologize for the delay in responding - I have been swamped.

your video card not up to snuff with opengl?
also why are you running CS4 in XP service pack 2 mode for?
There's plenty of space on the C drive and that's the drive PS is installed on... is there a reason I should change to D?
Video card drivers are current, however, it's a 256mb unit. I went to my local Fry's and picked up a Radeon 4670 and 500w power supply only to find that both are too big for my Dell Optiplex. Argh! Now, not only am I still lagging a little (read below for the semi-solution), but I have to stand in that dern Fry's 'returns' line.
I was trying all the different compatibility options hoping one would resolve the issue...
    Thanks again for your input.

  • How do I get my chart to redraw after the onitor comes out of screen saver mode.

My program runs 24/7 monitoring an exhaust stream. The program usually nruns in the background. When the chart display is called up the display is not correct. this also happens when the screen saver has been on. How can I get the display to redraw the chart to diaplay correctly.

This usually happens when the popup panel is not in memory and doesn't
know that it will ever need to be used. At compile time, LV optimizes
your code to leave out display calls and to leave out front panel data
copies if it thinks they will never be seen.
In the days before property nodes and invoke nodes, LV always got this
guess right, but these days it is possible to fool it. If you have a
subVI with no property nodes, and it doesn't use the VI Properties
    to
Open panel on call, LV may optimize out the chart's buffer accumulation.
Then when the window opens, the buffer data is empty or old.
If you place a property node on the diagram for the popup panel, even
just to read the value of the panel visible property, LV will leave the
accumulation code in and the chart should have correct values when the
    panel opens.

  • Help needed redrawing a JTree

    Hi,
I'm writing a simple Swing program to examine the entries in a JAR file as a JTree. It is not meant to be professional grade, it's simply for my own fun.
I have the program so that it displays a Window with a Menus. When the user chooses a JAR file, the program opens the JAR file, reads the entries in the file, and builds a DefaultTreeModel for the entries in the JAR file. Then, it builds a JTree from the DefaultTreeModel.
The program works great, except, once the tree is created, I don't know how to force Swing to redraw the JFrame.
Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Without looking at all your code, I would suggest that you only redraw the part of the tree that changes (addition or deletion of nodes). To do this, you can call a method of DefaultTreeModel, nodeStructureChanged(TreeNode nodeThatChanged). This fires the appropriate event which in turn causes the node and only its descendents to be redrawn. Good luck.

  • Photoshop performance and redraw problems

    Hello,
I'm running Photoshop CS5.1 x64 12.1 on a Windows 7 SP1 machine with all updates installed and the latest AMD 13.9 drivers for my HD6850 card. The PC has 8GB RAM.
Whenever I zoom in, there is an annoying redraw effect whereby the image "tears" as it's redrawn in "squares". This is not the usual vsyncless tear because if i simply scroll the image left and right it does not happen. To fix this, I can enable OpenGL and the tearing will be gone. However, when OpenGL is enabled the brushes lag quite badly. Sometimes it takes a full second from the moment I start a stroke to the moment it appears on screen. I've set OpenGL to basic and disabled all other options such as vsync and anti-aliasing. I've tried setting the cache levels to 8 and all cache tile sizes, restarting PS after each setting change. I've found it impossible to eliminate PS's non-OpenGL zoom tearing and brush lag when OpenGL is enabled, so I'm forced to fix one and live with the other.
I'd appreciate any advice, thank you.

I guess you'll have worked through the steps in this link?
    http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/optimize-performance-photoshop-cs4-cs5.html
It sounds like you are seeing the tiles that Photoshop splits the screen into.  You really need Chris Cox to give you the best settings and other advice, but this might be one of those times when the 'Tall and thin/Default/Big and fat' options make a difference.  I'm going to hazard a guess that setting a smaller tile size would be best.  Short of a system upgrade that is.

  • Mac Pro 2007 with Nvidia 8800GT screen redraw problems on Mac OS 10.5.2

I seem to be having a slight screen redraw problem. Such as when grabbing the browser window and moving up and down it seems the redraw can't keep up,also seems problematic when watching flash or other video online. It does it in the finder too for windows listings or in icon view there is a fluttering or flashing back and forth, kind of like a white super split second flash when dragging the window box smaller or larger not as bad as when making smaller. Hard to describe but my original Ge-force that I pulled was not having these characteristics. I figure that the drivers need tweaking. In windows I am not getting these results. I have newer boot camp installed as well as the leopard graphics update done so I am trying to see if others are having a slight problem or maybe it is me.
Also I make certain it is not heat related as I monitor that and it does not matter at what temp it is.

Here's another similar experience -- and my solution.
I bought a Quad-core 2.8GHz (8GB RAM) Mac Pro in May and got the "better" Nvidia 8800GT. I thought I was happy, but there were redraw issues after sleeping and a display "roughness" I found annoying. Upgrading to OSX 10.5.4 didn't help.
I found it to be mostly absent on startup, but sleeping the Mac would bring it on. I.e., after sleep, the relatiionship between the 8800GT would be different than before. when I logged out and in again, the problem woud vanish. No what I expect from a "superior" graphics card. I ascribed it to funky drivers from Apple.
The store I bought the Mac from offered to swap for my suggestion of an ATI HD 3870, so I went for it about a week ago.
This card is far smoother than the 8800GT and just as fast in rendering benchmerks for graphics. (I'm not a gamer.) I am a happy camper! There is no stuttering, oddball redraw, or jerkiness as there had been with the 8800. It's perfect! Never mind that it may be 5% slower for gamers, it feels faster for my use.
BUT NOTE: As I now see from reading several forums, I wasn't alone is getting a screaming-Mimi at first! The first 3870 ran at nearly full fan speed at power-up. The speed changed a little with resolution changes on my big Mitsubishi CRT monitor, and actually stopped when I switched to 1080x1920 @ 72Hz! Then the fan would start and quit, start and quit randomly -- convincing me it was defective.
I returned this RED-shrouded unit and the store replaced it, this time with (randomly) a BLUE-shrouded unit. (Slightly lower serial.)
Bottom Line: This replacement 3870 is quiet as a mouse! Fan runs near-silently at startup and after hours of regular use in a 75ºF room. I get the distinct feeling that a bunch of cards with wonky fan controllers were built, and some of us got 'em.
Bad News: The ATI HD 3870 does NOT support multiple refresh rates under Windows XP-SP2 booting the Mac Pro, with or without Boot Camp drivers installed. No version of the ATI drivers fixes this, and ATI does not officially support Boot Camp yet. You can choose a resolution okay, but you're stuck at 60Hz refresh -- a pain for those of us who hate 60Hz flicker. (I like 100Hz refresh.)

  • Image blanks when clicking with Polygon Lasso - does not redraw

When I am in an image, selecting an area with the polygon lasso tool, every time I click a point, the image blanks out and does not redraw. I am left with my pologon selection lines and a white image where the photo should be.
The only way to get the image back is to force it to scroll. I have to extend the tool off one side of the image or another to make it scroll.  Otherwise the screen does not redraw.  I am forced to work with my images in a window instead of fullscreen to ensure that I have part of the image to scroll to when the image blanks out.  It is doing this with every click of the polygon lasso tool.
Needless to say, this is maddening!  Has anyone seen this behavior before?
I am running Adobe Photoshop CS3 on Windows XP and the program is up to date.  I have two gigs of ram and have moved up the memory allocated to Photoshop from half to two thirds.  I have stopped having other programs opened.  I also tried turning off the preference for the 3D graphics acceleration. So far nothing has worked to fix the problem.
I have about 1100 product photos to clip out - HELP!
    Many thanks,
    Lynne

I have reset the prefs, first for the polygon tool, which did not fix the problem.  Then I held down the keys on startup and told it to delete the prefs file.  I am still having the problem, although not on every single click.  It has become intermittant, which is bizarre!
This laptop was recently completely reformatted and reloaded with everything when they passed it down to me.
I checked my video driver and it is up to date.  I am on a Dell XPS Gen2 laptop running NVIDIA Gforce Go 6800 Ultra.  Unfortunately the NVIDIA site is referring me back to Dell for the driver, and the Dell driver has not been updated since 2005.  Oh, the joys of running on older equipement!

  • Photoshop CS4 Redraw Problem

I have a strange problem that just arose yesterday, running 11.0.1, up to date Bridge and Photoshop.
What happens is, when I have an image open, and do any adjustments (curves, actions), the action will complete, but the image will not redraw until I either resize the window or apply a paintbrush to it. It's not a latency issue, it just never happens.
Also, the menus on top are all out of whack. If I select one drop-down, such as filters, then move my mouse to another drop-down, only the first drop-down stays active (for example, if I click Filters and mouse over to Select, nothing will change).
I've re-installed, even deleted all the configuration and any traces of Adobe and the problem still exists and is extremely frustrating.
I would appreciate any help, short of a format, to fix this problem.
    OS X 10.4.11
    2 Ghz Core 2 Duo
    4GB 667 DDR2 Ram
    320GB Hard drive, almost half-empty
EDIT: just to clarify, I have removed all of the plugins, plugin preferences, with the exception of camera raw 5.2. all of my software and firmware is otherwise up to date and I have already tried to tweak the cache settings to no avail. this problem practically happened over night.

Wow - I wouldn't have expected a mouse driver to cause drawing problems.
You might want to contact Logitech and let them know about this...
